We interrupt this program to bring you a special report. I can't believe it's news. Here's Brad and John. Local Knucklehead, here's the headline from Fox 13. "Furndale man faces felony charges after shooting his own butt." This happened in Kent on Sunday. Says a man faces three felony charges after accidentally shooting himself in the butt at a Kent gas station Sunday. Officers were called around 3.15 PM to a shell station. They were responding to reports of a man shooting himself, then fleeing the scene. This was an accidental butt shooting. The clerk said this happened a few times the man kept fumbling around with a gun in his pants until it went off, and he shot himself in the butt. He fell to the floor, then stumbled out the door, didn't ask for help. We'll tell you why in a second. Witnesses told police he got in the car and someone else drove him away shortly after a 43-year-old Furndale man arrived at the hospital in Auburn, suffering a gunshot wound to his rear end. His girlfriend, who had dropped him off, left him at the hospital and drove away. I don't want any part of this. Yeah, nope. Now officers found the vehicle pulled over the man's girlfriend. She turned over his gun, which he had stashed in the car according to a police investigation. This guy has a prior felony conviction for violating a domestic violence, no contact order, and the gun was also reported as stolen. - John, in Massachusetts, there's a term called storrowing because there's a Boston road that's kind of famous called Storow Drive, and that's where it's got these low overpasses, and commuters on Monday got all backed up when two porta-potties were knocked off the back of the truck. The guy failed to clear the low situated Massachusetts overpass, called Memorial Drive in Cambridge, and they, I guess, Storow Drive is another famous one for having low bridge clearances, and it often happens when they get struck by over-height vehicles, but this one, they're just calling it storrowing. The truck initially left the scene before about 20, and then came back about 20 minutes later to gather the full porta-potties from the weekend. - All right, well, we have a number of school bus drivers out there who listen to the Brad and John show, and we appreciate them having the radio on there, and turning the younger generation onto the Brad and John show. - 2G? - Yeah, 3G? - Yeah, and so I could picture some of our bus drivers right now, and they would be shaking their heads over this story here. This comes to us from Missouri, where a seven-year-old crashed a school bus into another school bus, Independence, Missouri. Seven-year-old girl crashed her school bus into another school bus on school grounds. How does that happen? No one was hurt, by the way. Well, TV station out there in Missouri reports that the bus driver may have been trying to teach the kids what to do in an emergency, and for some reason, the child was allowed behind the wheel. The mom of the child was behind the wheel, said, quote, "I was blown away. It was actually my child that was instructed to be behind the wheel of a bus." What does this lever do? The bus driver was giving the students training on what to do if she had a medical emergency, including how to open doors and windows. - Oh, that's good. - When no one volunteered, the second grader was called to the front of the bus for some hands-on experience in the driver's seat. She told me to press the thing, and when I pressed it, said the little girl, I had made the whole bus go backwards and crashed into another bus there. Again, no one was hurt at the scene. The bus driver probably is sitting a few days out, probably not reporting to school today.
