"This is 24/7 News from iHeartRadio." President-elect Trump will hit the ground running on Inauguration Day. That's what Trump transition team Soaxwoman Caroline Levitt said in an interview with Fox News Sunday morning features. She promised Trump would immediately address issues of illegal immigration, inflation, and energy policy. "We know that on day one he's going to launch the largest mass deportation operation of illegal immigrants in American history." She said Trump would sign tens of executive orders on his first day and work with congressional leaders to pass tax cut legislation as quickly as possible. She said he also plans to fulfill his promise to revitalize the fracking industry by signing executive orders approving domestic energy projects. Trump is offering New York representative Elise Stefanica position in his administration. On Sunday CNN reported Trump offered her the job of US ambassador to the United Nations. Stefanica has been an outspoken supporter of Trump. And in 2020 promoted conspiracy theories about the election and tried to get the results of the presidential race overturned. One person is dead, 16 others injured after shooting at an Alabama college. Police say the shooting happened just after two in the morning on Saturday at Skiggy University. An 18 year old who was not a student at the school was pronounced dead at the scene. Twelve others were wounded by gunfire and another four heard in the ensuing panic. Police say they've arrested 25 year old Jakesh Myrick, who they found leaving the scene of the shooting with a handgun with a machine gun conversion device. Police have not confirmed if Myrick is the suspect in the shooting. Hundreds of national parks across the US will have free entry on Monday in celebration of Veterans Day. It will be the final opportunity of the year to explore America's national parks with free admission. Although entrance fees are waived, some parks are expecting big crowds and may still require advanced reservations. While the parks will be open, banks, the post office, many government offices and most school districts will be closed for the federal holiday. I'm Tammy Trujillo. Qatar is reportedly bowing out of peace talks between Israel and Hamas. Lisa Carton reports. A senior diplomat told NBC News on Saturday that Qatar has become increasingly frustrated by the lack of progress toward a ceasefire by both Hamas and Israel. Qatari officials inform both sides they cannot continue to mediate if there is a refusal to negotiate in good faith. There's been growing US pressure to reach a ceasefire deal and secure the release of hostages in Gaza before the outgoing Biden administration leaves office. I'm Lisa Carton. An additional 24 monkeys have been recovered in South Carolina after escaping a research facility last week. One monkey was found and recaptured on Saturday and authorities caught another 24 on Sunday. Veterinarians have examined all of the recovered animals and found there were unharmed. Lisa emphasized there is not a current threat to public health. Sean Diddy Combs is challenging federal prosecutors amid his sex trafficking case. Chris Caragio has details. The rapper is currently in jail while he awaits trial for allegedly committing numerous sex crimes. New legal documents show Combs' legal team is attacking the government's claim that there was a potential second victim. His lawyers said that the notion of a second sex trafficking victim was ridiculous, adding that the woman in question was not a victim at all. This weekend Combs' attorneys also tried to get him released on bail for the fourth time, but no word yet if they were successful. I'm Chris Caragio. Tori Company metels in hot water due to the packaging on some of its new dolls. The company recently began making dolls for the upcoming movie Wicked and on the back of the box included a link to the movie's website. Except instead of WickedMovie.com, the packaging read Wicked.com, and that leads to an adult film webpage to tell released a statement over the weekend apologizing for the error, saying it's working to remedy the situation.
