Today's monologue is the first of a four part series on the Life of Joseph. The story is rich with grief, unmet expectations, disappointments, isolation and the redeeming love our Heavenly Father. I'm going to walk you through his life. It started out full of privilege and favor but went to a very dark place. Through the eyes of grief we will explore his life. Todays episode is titled, Unexpected Disappointment. I will set the stage to help you understand who he was and how his life took a drastic turn that he never expected. He was thrown into a pit to die. In our grief it often feels as if we have been thrown into a deep dark pit that we will never recover from. His story is relatable to those who grieve and I can't wait to share it with you.
