What's going on? Freeway Frank. I'm recording this. It is the Fate National formally known as Saint Jean-Bazist here in Quebec. It's the Quebec version of Canada Day, which most Federalists will not celebrate. I don't celebrate it even though I see people that are Anglophone or Alaphone as they call them here in Quebec. Alaphone are people that speak another have another mother tongue. So that would be me, Italian being my first language. And I've never been much to wave the Quebec flag because, you know, look, I'm a proud Quebecer, but I'm not proud about the things this province has done to silence Anglophone's to get rid of. I understand you have to protect the French language. I get all that. And they have. But now it gets to the point where it's they always seem to push it. And they know they can't get their sovereignty. They know if they held a referendum. It would be not even a chance the people would vote for it. So even when they had a chance, they didn't have a chance. So here we are in 2024. And I still feel awkward waving the Quebec flag because for me, it's it's the Canadian flag that is first in my heart. And yes, as I mentioned, I'm just as much a Quebecer as somebody who is a French Quebecer. I speak the French language. I have no problem speaking at first when I go into a store. I'm not one of those people that walks in and automatically speaks English in here unless I hear the person speaking English. I like to practice my French. Never had an issue with that. But again, it's not when I was young and didn't know much about what was going on. You know, and I never remember waving the Quebec flag. But you know, we go see the fireworks, do all that stuff. But it just feels like it's not inclusive. And it never has been inclusive to other people other than the pikis or the people who think with an independent mind. So now much of a holiday for me here was pretty wet and rainy anyway. And today is tonight game seven of the Stanley Cup finals. Let me talk a bit about that. At the time of this recording, Edmonton and Florida are tied at one. And I am pumped about this because I think that Conor McDavid like Wayne Gretzky, like Mario Lemire is a generational player and generational players. Players that are at the level of a Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemire, Sydney Crosby, Bovichkin, those types of players, the Gila Flers, all the players that have walked through the dressing rooms here in Montreal that have won Stanley Cups, especially the big players. When it comes down to okay, this is this is it. You don't get another chance. You might not get another chance to play in the Stanley Cup. When you're one of these players, the gifted ones, the top ones in their game in hockey, Conor McDavid is that guy. Then you're not going to blow an opportunity. I would be shocked if the Edmonton Oilers came back from a three zero deficit, which hasn't happened since the mid 40s, by the way, that the team came back and actually won it. I believe it may have been been the Toronto Maple Leafs. So they need to close it. They need to close it up tonight. And I saw Sid Cicero whatever his name is. He used to be a sports broadcaster. Now he does a morning show in Toronto TV morning show. And I saw him mention this and it's my thoughts exactly. So I'm going to repeat what he said. He basically said, unless you're a Calgary Flames fan. So in this case, if it was the Toronto Maple Leafs in game seven, I would never cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs, even though they're a Canadian team, because we have a rivalry. And if you grew up a true Montreal Canadiens fan and you're a true Montrealer, you don't cheer for Toronto teams. You just don't. I even lived in Toronto for seven years. Never would think of cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Boston Bruins. But if it was Boston and Toronto, I would cheer for Boston. That's how much I hate the Toronto Maple Leafs. So unless you're a Calgary Flames fan, all of Canada should be cheering the Edmonton Oilers on tonight. Their biggest rival, the Flames, I wouldn't expect any Flames fans to be cheering for the Oilers. But the Oilers can be the first Canadian team since 1993. The Montreal Canadiens were the last team to win the Stanley Cup. And this would tilt the NHL and Gary Bettman. They do not want this. They want the Florida Panthers. But the Florida Panthers blew a three nothing lead in the series. And this has destiny written all over it for the Edmonton Oilers. So I say, Go Oilers go. Hopefully by the end of this podcast, no, the game won't be over. No, but now by the end of this podcast, I'm going to go watch the rest of the game, then maybe stop recording and come back and wrap her up. Because I think it'll be exciting. And also exciting today, if you're following the Euro 2024, it's always an amazing time when the Euro Soccer Championship is on, when the World Cup is on, because everybody wears their countries, colours. Canada will be playing in 2026 here when it's held in Mexico, United States and in Canada in just a couple of years. So it's going to be exciting to have the younger generation seeing that, because it took most of my lifetime to see it come here in North America. So it's nice to see people wearing their countries, jerseys, waving their countries, flag and opuses off a lot of Quebecers. Because today, as I mentioned at the start of this podcast, being the Fade National and the Quebec holiday, you saw more Italian flags, people celebrating Italian. Italy's last minute victory come from behind victory with this incredible golden goal, but the tie it they needed at least a tie. They got it. Italy moves on. It was just an unbelievable. It's one of those unbelievable finishes in sports that makes you keep coming back, especially to the beautiful game because soccer really is an incredible sport, difficult to play. I don't like when they're diving all over the place. That's not for me, but the actual game, the finesse, the beauty of it, the skill, it was just incredible to see that goal hit the top right corner of the net and Italy continues through. The best part is I'm headed to Italy in the next couple of weeks. So I've recorded a whole bunch of podcasts on the way that will have fun with some theme podcasts as well. I hope you enjoy. And some other podcasts speculating some of the things that will be happening in the coming weeks, but being in Italy will be incredible. It would not have been as great. Well, I would have had fun, but it would have been tough to be in Italy with Italy not even playing through from their first round of qualifying. That would have killed, but it's nice to know that I'll be feeling the vibe in Italy during the Euro. They're still alive. Croatia tears, tears of sadness, Croats everywhere. That was their moment. They had it. They blew it. And that is what sports is all about. Like Howard Kosal used to say the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. I don't know if he actually said that line, but wide world of sports, which was a big show that aired when I was young, it was a kid used to have that the line, the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat. And I'm tired of the agony of defeat when it comes to my teams. So this was a thing of beauty. This is not a thing of beauty coming to Canada, especially to the parliament. Liberals will now be forcing women working on Parliament Hill to share bathrooms with men. Can you believe this after everything that women have fought for? Imagine being forced on Parliament Hill to share bathrooms with men. And so they're doing this so that well, gender non conforming people feel more included. But my issue with this is that men that are pretending to be women are going to be getting into washrooms with women, which to me makes it an unsafe place. And should the government be doing this? And who knows after this? Will they also impose this on all federally regulated industries as well? And how do women feel? I've heard nobody talking about this. And this to me irks me because the government continues to be so woke. And the people I don't know if it's like, okay, we're a couple of summers past the pandemic. I don't want to talk about it. I look this way. Shit's going on that way. I'm looking this way, right? And nobody seems to care. But you should care, because it's this kind of stuff that when it gets a federal regulation, to me, changes the face of what countries all about, of our country, what Canada's all about. And again, I say, where are all the feminists, women have fought too long to have this happen for them to lose their washroom. So a guy can walk in a guy who feels more like a woman can walk in and use a gender neutral bathroom. This is appalling to me. It should be appalling to women. The government should not be choosing where you go take a crap or a piss. That should be you. You should be able to go in your own gender washroom and feel comfortable. This to me is woke out of control. That's what I call it. Woke out of control. And it's people like Justin Trudeau and the liberals leading all this bullshit. Every episode, every podcast, the bullshit word comes up. It's by the way, 200 washrooms in the center block. The parliament welcome center. All right, are going to be inclusive bathrooms. And so the federal government has decided to scrap all gendered washrooms. Once they renovate, once all these areas are renovated, they're coming back as all inclusive, all inclusive, except you're not getting a meal. You get to ladies, you get to share the bathroom with men. So if I feel that I'm a feeling more like a woman, right? That's that's how I identify freeway, Frank's heading into your bathroom and you have no choice. Can you imagine? What? What have we become? And why is it always Canada doing this stuff? Well, I'll tell you it's because it's the liberals and Justin Trudeau. He knows he's unlimited time and he's going to make all these changes before he is voted out or steps down. He's just going to keep doing stuff like this. Unless people rise up people rise up and say and rise up for so many things. But all these things that the people are rising up for the the things we're seeing on the streets of Montreal, Toronto. And you know, we complain this Canadians would go, why are these people protesting? What are they doing? What's what the encampments? What's what all this stuff? And and queers for Palestine, right? It's things that just don't make sense. Because if queers went to Palestine, they were probably killed and all this stuff that's going on that is just head scratching its face. I face bomb when I see all this stuff. And then you wonder why aren't people complain, especially women? You know, when international women's they became, you know, that includes trans women. When Trudeau said that, that was when the curve was happening. In other words, when they were going to go completely off the road. And now look, now it's the gender neutral bathrooms. This is where we are, Canada. This is where we are people. And to me, if I were a woman, I would be completely and utterly repulsed by this. I know there are women who are, but no one's talking. No one even posted about it. I want my social media. So the all the stories that's on CBC, CTV, every, every woke channel talking about how great this is. Then I saw obviously all the adversaries that I follow talking about how horrible this is. And now one woman, you know, women would post things all the time on social media when other things were happening, right? What other social causes were happening? They were all over it. This, they're quiet about how it makes no sense. This was my favorite tweet or on X, by the way, my favorite tweet of the week, somebody wrote, what do you miss the most about Canada, pre Trudeau? And I had, I had to answer so I replied Canada, because I don't recognize this country anymore. I really don't. Montreal, by the way here, I just read, they just canceled Canada Day festivities once again. Why? They canceled Canada Day. It doesn't matter. The country of Canada doesn't matter anymore. These woke leftists don't care when they become, they have power, they get a little bit too much power. They start focusing all their efforts on everything else that always got, you know, the the short end of the stick. But it's not even that that's, you know, that gay people are not deserving of having their moment and their time and their freedom. But they've always have had it here in Canada. They had the pride parades. They had the day of pride, the weekend of pride. But now it's the entire month. Now it's every corporation, every bank, every organization, waving the pride flag and they don't wave the Canadian flag. They don't even talk about the Canadian flag and Canada Day festivities canceled here in Quebec again. And what is that? Nobody says anything. Nobody says anything. This is exactly why I responded Canada. What do I miss most about Canada, pre Trudeau? It felt like Canada. It does not feel like Canada anymore. Already it didn't feel like Canada living here in Quebec. It doesn't when I told people where you're going, I went to Toronto, by the way, for the last three or four days, I went to Canada. It's not Canada. Quebec. No, completely different. It's it's French Canada. My English Canada feels completely different. And when you cross over to Ontario, you know, you're in what you're in Canada. You're really in Canada. When Edmonton tonight, hopefully wins the Stanley Cup, it comes back to Canada. The Edmonton Oilers are as Canadian a city as it gets. When you go out west, when you go, you feel like you're in Canada here, they take that away from you. Now Trudeau was here, by the way, waving the Quebec flag and celebrating the National Holiday here in Quebec. Today I saw him with kids waving the flag. He went to some parade and because he needs votes, that's why he's here. He would never be waving the Quebec flag if he didn't need those people to vote for him because he's even falling here now. He is even behind for the first time Liberals have been behind the Conservatives in the polls here and go back, which means doom. It means it's over. We know it's over, but he's going to make every last change he could until he leaves office. So he can destroy Canada a few more times more before this all comes to a crashing end. We can't wait to try now available. The icy espresso, summer bliss and summer cactus enjoyed best on a terrace or patio this summer 29 locations, including the newest one coming soon to La Salle in the Montreal area. It's baton Rouge Grillhouse and bar. I've been watching a lot of things lately about the end of the world, the rapture, the reckoning, Armageddon, our final days. I don't know why this comes up on my YouTube. Maybe because you watch one or two, then obviously that's what the algorithms are sending you. And then all this other stuff comes up as well. I know it is right when you start watching. I'm sure this happens with you. You start to watch certain things. You're like, well, why are they sending me this? Like for example, now they're not calling it UFOs anymore. They're calling it UAPs, unidentified aerial phenomenons. Yeah, don't call it UFO anymore. That's not that's not the right term. So the UAPs is what they're they're focusing on now. Now, there's a lot of strange shit. Now people either believe in aliens or don't believe in aliens. There's usually no middle ground. People are adamant when it comes to the ones that believe in extraterrestrials. They're they're like convinced that they're out there. Look, I think to myself a lot, it can be that we're the only people, the only living creatures in this entire massive universe. Out there somewhere, there has to be alien life form. I truly believe that. Now, then I start watching these videos and some of the videos say that there are aliens in human form living here or that obviously through the years we've heard aliens abducting humans and then bringing them back to earth. And then the humans tell the story of how they were abducted. That I'm not 100% sure about, but that aliens are living here in human form. It's something that I've often wondered. I'm not saying it's true, but I've often wondered because there's alien like people. And I'm not saying like people that look like they might be aliens. I'm saying people that act really goofy and are weird. And you think they've got to be from somewhere else because they sure don't feel like earthlings to me. Yeah, those people, those people, those carons that are yelling and screaming got to be from somewhere else. But it's interesting. I get all these videos as you probably do too. And if we're into the same type of stuff, then you're getting these videos like me, the one I've been hearing a lot about recently, and I've never been to the pyramids in Egypt. And it's that the that another, you know, old, ancient civilization built the Egyptian pyramids that it couldn't be humans that it had to be another people from another place. Yeah, almost alien that did this, that came to the planet, build these perfect pyramids, because archaeologists and scientists and people, researchers, people who have looked into this, cannot explain, cannot come up to proper conclusion, conclusions plural, as to how these pyramids are so perfectly aligned with stars, the universe, the planets, the gateway to this, and the gateway to that, it can't be coincidental. And then you think about how they built these pyramids, and you think how things are built today, like, for example, in the city of Montreal, it takes four years to build a bridge. And for four years, I was nice there, six, seven years to build a bridge, maybe just as long to build a train system. Everywhere else on the planet, things pop up really quickly. You're like, what? This wasn't here yesterday. How did it get there? Here and go back, everything moves at a snail's pace. So then you look at something like, even though I haven't been to Egypt, if you've been there, then you should, it should be even clearer to you. So then when I see these videos, I see, yeah, how did they put these blocks, all these, these, these pieces of the pyramids together and align them like that back then, when they didn't have what we have today, when how did they do it? How did they do it back then with the math? And how did they figure all that stuff out? It makes no sense. It makes absolutely no sense. But we go along our regular business, right? Pass me the next reality show, give me the next TikTok video to watch. And I'll forget about that, because it means nothing to me. That's how people are. But if you're inquisitive, and you ask questions and you're a clear thinker and a critical thinker, when these videos keep popping up, you got to wonder, this doesn't make sense. So there has to be some truth to what they've been saying recently, that it is from an ancient civilization that came from somewhere else. That is possible. A lot of people, more than ever, talking about this now. And it makes me laugh, because all this, all this stuff, people are predicting, right? Even the, I think it was the last podcast I was talking about, the polar shift, that happens every 12,000 years, people are predicting that might happen in our lifetime, which would be crazy to think that, you know, how many more years, is it safe to say that, let's just say to be nice, in 100 years, we're all out of here. We're all not here. It's probably less than that. So when you think about that math, that in 100 years, we're all not going to be here to think that maybe the end is coming in the next 10, 15, 20, a lot of people believe this. And I know this has always been out there, right? There's a 2012 end of the world 2000 end of the world, then it never happens. And then some Haley Bob Comet and people are waiting for the end of the world. They all wear Nike shoes and they all die together and take some potion. And the world is still here tomorrow. It's still here. But then you got to wonder, prophecy, you got to wonder about things that have been predicted in books like the Bible, and not to say that I'm some Bible thumper. But there's a lot of things that have been said in the Bible that seem to be leaning towards the end times. If you believe that, right? And there's a part of me that's starting to believe all this, because there's just so much whack happening in the world right now, so much bizarre stuff, so much weird stuff that the end times could be near than we think. It is possible. And again, if you're watching the same videos that I'm watching, all this stuff is coming up. It's not even scary anymore to watch this stuff. The doom and gloom. If anything, the doom and gloom is educational. All this stuff is educational that makes you think. It's better than just watching the next video on your phone and screen and, you know, pretending like life is not happening around us and just living in our bubbles. It's important. It is very important that we question things that we think analytically and critically, and things as simple as the things I mentioned on this podcast today. The reason why I mentioned this stuff, like the gender neutral bathrooms and all this stuff that's coming, and you've got to wonder. And I'm not, again, a big proponent of there's a devil with horns on one of your shoulders, and then there's an angel on another. But I do believe that there is such a thing, whether it's devil and angels, good and evil. Good and evil has always existed. But it seems like we live in such evil times and times that are incomprehensible, that we just, we can't explain things anymore. Things just don't make sense anymore. And what was black is now white, and what was red is now blue, and what was blue is now red, and so much stuff that in my childhood years, teenage years, 20s, 30s, 40s, whatever, this stuff wasn't even on the radar. And now it all seems to be on that radar. If you're picturing a radar and you see all the planes that are flying, you know, when you look at an air traffic controller screen, as like, look, those are all the planes in the sky or even on your computer, because you could probably do it on your computer. Now, those are all the planes in the sky right now. To me, those are all the things that are in front of us right now. And there's just more shit than ever on that screen in front of us. Literally on that screen, that computer screen, that phone screen that you're watching, and in life. And it just seems to me like, it's too coincidental that all this stuff is happening. And there's not a reason for all this stuff happening. Why are they taking us down this road? Why are they pushing it so much? Why are they pushing it down our throats? What is the agenda? Whatever agenda that you believe in might be coming. I believe there's something out there. I don't know if it's necessarily the agenda or what was predicted that would happen in end times. Oh, isn't this fun? This is exciting stuff that I brought up. What's the score in the hockey game? Let's go back to that. It was so much more fun when I was talking about soccer today, Italy winning, and the Edmonton Oilers possibly winning the Stanley Cup. It is one one. And I'm coming to the end of my podcast for this Tuesday edition of the drive by podcast. So I'm going to stop and press stop here. And then I'm going to come back after hopefully the Edmonton Oilers win the Stanley Cup. And I'm going to wrap it up. Okay, so I'm coming right back. I'll give it just a couple of seconds here. And I'll be back. Okay, the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup. A few hours went by since I signed off here, which was actually just a couple of seconds ago. But what a heartbreaker, Connor McDavid. I thought he was going to do it. Came so close. He won the Consmite, which says a lot, only the sixth time in the history of the Stanley Cup, where a losing player or a losing player ends up winning the Consmite for the MVP of the playoffs says a lot right there. So Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup champions. I'm sad. I really thought the Oilers would finally win it. Last time, of course, a team won the Stanley Cup team from Canada, the Montreal Canadiens. 1993, I was celebrating on Robison Street. I had just moved to Vancouver, BC. Memories, maybe next year. And hey, there's still a chance for Italy to repeat as Eurochamps will see that'll be tough. I don't believe so, but you just never know in life.
