good fresh start how we were eating two minutes already between yeah what the fuck hi this is episode 25 of Geekscape over the next 25 something has changed performance anxiety it's hard for me to perform with Laura this is episode 25 of Geekscape over the next 45 minutes to an hour we're gonna bring you the latest news reviews in the world of movies video games and comics basically everything a geek like me is into recently we did a New York episode and my girlfriend Laura made a brief cameo at the end because one of our listeners has a big crush on her big yanks you know who you are so we started getting a couple things on the forums asking Laura to be a guest on the show and and I said okay that's one of the worst ideas I've ever heard not because you're not a good guest sweetie thank you dear um just because because you're always telling me not to be to keep some distance between me and the audience right because I get really personally get really involved you share a little you share a little too much yeah and I get upset right sometimes like when people write bad things about me not not so much that stuff but yeah I get a set when I get disciplined I invest a lot into it mm-hmm and something like the website crashing goes down or an episode is late or things when things out of my control happen I get really upset and I invest a lot of time into it and I'm sure it's hard for you to watch yep so you've been telling me to distance my personal life a little more from the audience and then and then you asked me to be on the show yeah I asked her to be on the show because we this week were gonna be reviewing knocked up and you had a pregnancy scare it wasn't even that scary I didn't even tell him about it until the when I tell you about it the day you said things were a little you said things were a little we'll get to that we get to that I guess you want to start with that yeah sure I mean I mean everyone's had pregnancies everybody's had pregnancy scares even those who have sex with themselves Gilmore thought he got himself pregnant by how much he matched her base you wait what are you doing it so what is that sign you're doing over there what's this you've had two pregnancy scares I think I think when you have a pregnancy scare humanity has I guess you scare because last thing we want is more get more is so baby Gilmore so it's good that you kept that to yourself but but you had like an erratic whatever I was late and then it came and it went and then it was kind of confusing and I thought God you know we were in need your work and I missed a couple days you know my pill and then you catch up and and but your body can still like fuck you can be on the pill and have a condom it's like a pregnant right so I was really I was yeah and then you catch up and then your hormones were all I don't know why Gilmarsh what what what what did you do when did you become Planned Parenthood it has to be on like a perfect schedule otherwise thank you what if you just take all 30 at like once right you're good for a month there you go yeah that's how that works the news are bleeding in there but I knew that I wasn't because I knew that I wasn't and I wasn't and that's because I'm infertile and and and whatever sex he was having wasn't with me whatever and so I wasn't and and that's all there's to it so yay we're not pregnant yeah yeah that that would be scary because basically it's like that episode of Babylon or what do we just see sort of where they like back in season 2 which is what we're watching when they're like oh there's some discrepancies in the blood you know the baby side of the salon baby yeah that chick's gonna have the salon baby and they're like oh there's like little thing differences in her blood a little abnormalities because there's no blood yeah mine they would be going to your blood and they would check it out and they'll be little sea monkeys in there it'd be like you must have had sex with a geek yeah yeah it would be sea monkeys in the blood like in black battle struggle act again but but yeah we ended up seeing knocked up and I said you know let's watch knocked up let me ask Laura finally to be on the show and were you nervous I was obviously nervous because I'm you know I cut together the my attempts at starting the show right yeah I'm nervous right now what makes you nervous cuz you've probably you've been with the black box thing looking at me the camera well you've literally been with me from Geekdrome on longer than any of these people yes and you've seen it all yeah you've been you every episode every every taping in your apartment you've been a part of yeah now that you're in early camera what's the difference there are far fewer sweaty geeks in my apartment just Gilmore right it bends on here grants on here there's not a guest here I'm not like hiding in the bed bedroom like folding laundry yeah cuz that's what you do when you tell me yeah like my house feels like oh it's just the friends are ever just VJ and Gilmore in last episode you took a phone call and people could end up hearing you in the background and and I didn't want to tell you if they get mad but in the on the porch they were saying like like choke your woman out etcetera another reason I didn't want to be on the show but you know if you guys really slammed me on the forums and say how much you hate me she'll break up with me no oh he loves me so that wouldn't be a very nice thing for you to say to him about me the rent it is and I'll kick your fucking asses keep on she's done it a couple times for me um so knocked up this is the movie directed by Judd Apatow it's got Seth Rogen to do from Foila Virgin Paul resident and one of my top fives Katherine Hagel you want to top five do you think do you think she's in the five oh yeah oh she's she's definitely in the top five do you think she's in the two I think she's your one I think she's your number one and for all the female she might be my one here because kids because what's her nuts well what's the girl from what's the girl from a hot chick and in the Lindsay Lohan movie Rachel McAdams yeah five and then and then what's her name because she's really funny Betty Brandt what's her name Elizabeth Banks like those are the three things I'm attracted to because she was you want me to leave in that Gilmore we like that with on a fairies scary movie yeah I know I know who you know she's adorable all right so back to me as a guest girls have you ever seen no can I finish my thought if you ever watched a movie when you know it's bunches and bunches and bunches of fabulous shots of number one girl on your boyfriend's like hunt violin list that's fun well super that was a super good time and then even when she was pregnant she was really cute and he's like oh you know she's so cute in sweats and she's so cute and ponytail and glasses oh my god did you not enjoy the movie because my top one was in the movie pregnant with what I was fantasizing to be my child yeah I'm kidding did you think that I was sitting next to you thinking hey I could be my kid no I think you were sitting next to Ben and Graham Dylan Strickland Megan jokes all the time no I wasn't making any jokes about her I think she's attractive but but one thing that works okay look we were talking about Jessica Alba earlier today yeah you think she looks like ass with no I don't think she does I don't think she looks like ass I think oh yeah she looks like ass with blonde hair and in the movie but I don't think she's unattached everything she's really cute but I don't think she's really sexy I think she's sexy I think she's sexless she's still pretty just cute and you'd like your friends little sister now now here's how you make it into my top top three top four for top five is you can't just be like Jessica Alba or a what's the crazy woman the one the crazy chick who trapped Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie yeah like how Brad Pitt had nothing to do with his entrapment yeah right right so so you know you have those girls but both of them strike me as extremely sexless like the kind of girls you would chase after and then when you got in the verge of cupping the bus she'd be like she would just be like a like a dead fish just go well she'd be the opposite of a dead fish she'd fucking bite your shit off she's like a pre-manis woman you know I mean she'd be like I want to go down on you and then she's spit it on you actually she bit it off and Jessica Alba is on the other side of the spectrum she'd just be like no I'm not into it you know I mean like like she just strikes me as someone who doesn't get intimate very much but Catherine now Catherine Hegel she's funny she's something like she's got more of a she's got more of a presence for me she got more of a packer cuz she's like you she's funny she has personality and she can she can give it back you throw back at me yeah as much as anything yeah I think she was adorable in this in this movie totally adorable and likable and in everything I don't watch Grey's Anatomy she's on that right yeah so I don't watch that and but I've seen snippets of it and she's not that hot on the show but she was she was really cute in this and this is the movie where Seth Rogen goes out as a one-night stand with Catherine Hegel's character and she ends up getting pregnant wanting to keep the kid they both agreed to keep the kid now they got a deal with not really knowing each other but meeting each other during the course of her pregnancy so I thought what do you think of the movie did you like it I thought it wasn't like the yucky yuck like laughing as much as like 40 year old virgin uh-huh cuz that was really really funny and this was funny in in parts but also like just really heavy for me just like heavy emotion stuff sometimes like it really kind of went up and down for me like the stuff they were dealing with do you think it focused too much on the drama get more wants to know um well now I mean cuz the drama is part of it I you know the choice to get to know somebody who knocks you up there's a million other choices you could make so so to try to get to know each other and try to make something work during a pregnancy I think would be doomed anyways you know and there were some really emotional parts like when they were screaming at each other and the doctor's office like that was really uncomfortable it was really uncomfortable and I think it was meant to be uncomfortable and it might not be uncomfortable for and I went men and women are totally gonna see this movie differently because we talked about the driveway scene with the sister and Leslie Mann plays Catherine Hegel's sister in the film she's married to Judd Apatow and they kind of wrote the song about the song they kind of they kind of wrote the the movie about their experiences having their first kid the director and Leslie Mann who's married to plays Paul Rudd's wife and during the course of the movie she thinks that he's cheating on her and they investigate and they end up having a confrontation and and in that in Ben sees it one way Ben see Ben right against character sees the result is one way you know she's she's a bitch like you know she's a controlling bitch and then Catherine Hegel's character of course he's like he's a liar he's a snake right and it's an overreaction but yeah like what he was doing he was a liar not and I mean does this boil like yeah I don't want to spoil you have to see this film because you're you're throwing your seat around like where you're responsible and you need to see this movie because humanity will fall if you haven't again anyone pregnant you of all people should know to see this movie yeah but but now like it's just you know guys think if you lie about something that's not harmful then not then the lie itself shouldn't be harmful but I think the women would see it like is the fact that you had to lie about something regardless of what you were lying about was a selfish act and that's why I totally got her point but then when I talked to you you're like I don't know what are you talking she's a crazy bitch I'm like okay we won't talk about it because I mean there's stuff that I do in in in light like like I'm living at your place yes and like and there's stuff that I do that you that I just don't even know I do mm-hmm what are some of those things that make life with me difficult always going to the laptop always before you I blame anything before you pee in the morning you put on your glasses you roll out of bed you come out of the bedroom and you go right to that we come home from anywhere you go straight to it I come home from work you're sitting at it the most the the view I get of you often is like this this is usually what I see you I don't see a lot of this I have to watch a show to see this our website went down we gotta get a new website right we gotta get back those you can't we got new forums you guys are enjoying the new forums as of the the airing you ask me the question no you're right so that's so that's all I do that to though I do no more you're not dating anybody all right how Gilmore is now like a third co-host no no she's my co-host you can't you throw aside you are you are a dancing monkey there he is he's too close he's you're way too close to her shit buddy you're talking to him see you're encouraging it stop it just don't you got a phone call liar um so that's one thing that bothers me um what else well I mean what okay look first off I thought this movie was I enjoyed this movie more than 40 origin wow no yeah I did because it has more it has more it was in it um not that I don't think uh Catherine Keener's I think kind of way attractive from the last movie older woman um but uh I just think that the main character from Foyo Virgin wasn't as accessible as somebody like that I thought the characters in this one were more grounded more realistic in that allowed me to enjoy the enjoyable parts more they I just was invested more uh 40 over Virgin I felt like it was fun but it was a little closer to those aren't live movies where the characters more of a you know a caricature you know where he's a four-year I don't know caricature it seems pretty real had sex to me well yeah the sex part of it but that that the fact they was a virgin but I didn't even like that wasn't even I think for 40-year-old version I could connect it to everybody getting to know a person for the first time and trying to make a relationship work I've not been pregnant I've not had a child can't say I would make the same decision as she made right so I couldn't relate to that to me that was just like a big funny hypothetical really yeah but you've had so many friends who you know had kids you know your sister you know your sister nieces not he is all sorts of stuff and you still can't you know put your I mean that was a really realistic situation to me yeah not the four-year-old virgin character totally not to me wasn't that realistic not to me at all um and plus it was you know I saw knocked up with you and then uh I told you this that I saw for your virgin on a date and like halfway through it that this chick turned to me like when he was having this like when he had all this fucking action figures and she goes remind you of anybody and I was like we're fucking done that was like a first or second day and it was 100% the last one and and I was like you know what well well I've never mentioned like like like like any other people like when we broke up you and I broke up for a short time yes I was one of those the dark one of those dark time girls oh that's what we call they're like that should be an episode and it sounds like that's what we call the two months that you and I broke up yeah and all I could think when that bitch said that was like it was like Laura would have never said that shit you know like like when we started seeing each other you never said what the fuck is up with the comics in bed no and I was like I need them to get hard like I mean you've dated guys who were in the comics before right this is Rufus now this is really I think you're covering the mic you might be sorry that your titty mic and she's covering the mic yeah we can introduce Rufus later when we talk about our get together this weekend oh yeah so you I mean what are some of the other dudes you've dated and what and how am I different I think so because like you enjoyed it but not with a little I enjoyed it I enjoyed it quite a bit yeah I can't say that I found that to be a realistic situation when a girl who in a drunken steeper fucks a guy that she is absolutely no interest in even double checks and has breakfast with him coffee with him in the morning to find out eight weeks you're pregnant you're not gonna dig around and find his number right you're just gonna have the kid you're gonna have it or not have it more likely especially you're not gonna involve him in her situation I didn't think it was realistic that she had it so that would have been a really lame movie yeah that's really sad no um no but I wonder how many girls have aborted your seed you know what I just not told you just not told you yeah you know girls she's like I can't do this to humanity never tell that no no no if you got pregnant baby would you tell me before you'd get an abortion because you can't let me run loose right you would right okay but you wouldn't tell me yep has this happened you'll never know wow we just took a whole new little turn you said that coming on the show was gonna get really personal and you said you want to go there and I was like can you bring me back like the Petri dish and I'll sign it or something yeah put it up in a little bag and I'll give it to a geekscape it's all a good contest or something thanks contest like what I was wow so you so it could have happened you I would have never even known right oh that's brutal we just hit a whole new part of geekscape and it just might be because where I am in my life right but right now I'm dating a filmmaker who does a podcast in my living room not really and they work a lot not really what kind of situation I want to bring a child into because ideally if I want to bring a child into a situation I like to be what I bought was brought into which was like a mom and a dad and brothers and sisters in that house in a backyard swing set that's what I'd want to bring a child into it but you know it's always easy to say what you would do before something happened so I don't know what to do maybe I would have it that wouldn't make you a lot your parents would die they like you very much I know but not enough for me to have a child out of wedlock by you no you're right yeah my parents with me my mom wouldn't be especially stoked about it either yeah you know I don't think she thinks you're a passive I'm kidding I'm a present for graduation was this a good luck on the road when you hit when you finally hit a pair of some money you can add to your new deposit on your new plays when your daughter when my daughter wakes up from whatever pipe dream this is that a child like you a one-day become a man you're me slurping my soda when I'm drinking holy shit I'm getting fucked up this show this is some deep shit you'd mom said that never okay she loves you it was your sister all right that's a nice thing if I don't know I mean I've spent I haven't been like on the track this entire episode I've just been derailed this whole time oh I couldn't even do it anymore can stay and then you guys can just no no no no fuck fuck Gilmore fuck Gilmore this is the this is the meat of this shit right here right this this is a this is a quality episode we are getting down to the nitty gritty and and if you don't if you thought getting personal was something that I was doing too much of now this is getting this is getting personal baby we saw some trailers yeah we did and we'll be living in one if we have a baby do you know why I love her she's so fucking funny my baby that's really funny trailer we saw a trailer and wow it started out like a karate tournament so immediately we're gonna watch this movie this is the trailer that we started out of the karate tournament we're merely gonna watch this movie then you see that the the the evil master who's running the karate tournament is played by Chris and we're walking we're definitely gonna watch this movie that you see that it's about ping pong or as the Chinese they ping pong yeah that that is a joke from the trailer for the movie balls of fury which is coming out over the summer and I think it's the funniest fucking trailer I've seen it a long but yeah we've seen the trailer this movie get one yeah it's like a it's like an end of the dragon situation when you get the best ping pong players from around the world and you make them fight to the death in ping pong in a like a kung-fu tournament type film and it's got all the different kung-fu elements but it's ping pong yeah and it felt like that what was it Mortal Kombat it felt like that it felt like Mortal Kombat it felt like a lot of those kind of movies but it's ping pong and it looks hilarious yeah I can't wait I remember when they were when they were announcing this movie and Chris walk was attached to it I said you know what this movie is gonna be like what was the beer one that the brokalizer dudes did beer fest you know I like I don't think the brokalizer dudes are all as funny as a lot of people say they are I like them I support them but I never get like I never got white super troopers was so funny maybe because it you know I'm not a big drunkard in the stoner that's why exactly why you don't but yeah and so this movie I think it's hilarious just based on the fact that we love Chris we're walking and we love kung-fu movies and the jokes are actually funny in it yeah and it's funny because the people we've seen the trailer twice and the first time I saw it I was you know I didn't know what was going on and what it was and but we saw it again last it was funny listening to the reactions of everybody else around us because they were seeing it for the first time and it feels like mumbling they don't know what's going on and then they're just like roaring with laughter when they see you know the hero sweatband and his shorts even even somebody like George Lopez who I never thought his show was that funny but even then he does like a Scarface joke in the trailer and I'm like dude Scarface jokes have been so fucking done but it's funny yeah it's funny oh another trailer that we saw a trailer to another show that we saw was for Good Luck Chuck which is a Dane Cook movie where he ends up being the guy who after girls sleeps with him the next person she days will end up getting married she'll marry the next guy she gets invited to the wedding and they're like oh if it wasn't for Chuck we would have never met you know and he's like thanks I'm gonna die alone he then ends up meeting Jessica Alba and he doesn't want to have sex with her because he wants to marry her and if he has sex with her the curse then which he now thinks is a curse well make her believe that you know she'll get married and he'll lose that on wasn't somebody who was like decorating I just don't think he's that's sincere I just don't buy I don't think he's that he's very sincere he he's kind of a hey bro ish I had to hunch my bets and just hope that I get married without wanting it without having to fuck him if marriage was my thing I'd be like oh yeah girls were now in and have cycled them so yeah he markets it so I forgot all about so there's a ton of people right yeah yeah yeah bad bad part of that story is you you've had sex with dang cook right which you might as well have sex with any fraternity member here and no that is not true you might as well not have had sex with every fraternity it was a joke Gilmore what are you doing that next I don't know but Gilmore is weird shit he's put his back to us now so give what are you looking up buddy mr. Brooks made ten million this past weekend it's pretty good for a movie that was made for 30 million mr. Brooks is gonna well on its way to making it back in the theaters alone not counting DVD or cable so so my boss is happy if you make a third of your money back first weekend you're gonna make your money back and then so so that's a really good release for mr. Brooks which guys well and nobody in my audience watched it their parents wind up really for parents it's like yeah shooting out so were you a couple times this past week and we're worried it was a baby I was like can I have the first tonight you're like no I don't know what's going on can I put the key stop yeah okay that's why you're single because you don't want anybody degrading oh man Gilmore Gilmore you're just gonna walk in and out of the set Gilmore you urinating in the background oh give more he's blotting his face I like how Gilmore tells us we can't talk about his relationships Paul Anderson big fan no we're not Paul Anderson is the guy who made like the first Resident Evil movie he made the Mortal Kombat film he's made event horizon yeah he's doing he's doing the spy hunter film which John we was talked about having to do having done with a rock for a very long time now it's gonna be Paul Anderson you what what hurts is it's 500 because I'm not too attached to spy hunter spy hunter sweetie was a video game in the 80s that was on Nintendo and in the arcades where it was like overhead and you had some car that goes back and forth you can get like oil slick and smoke screen and stay left you go to the boats you're not in the video games all that much especially from that era cuz you were too busy having sex with guys yeah cuz I was older and I was I was legally I was an adult and I was a yeah right god Rufus yeah Rufus just laid out a an ass spray behind us but yeah Paul Anderson's doing spy hunter I'm not too upset about this one because it wasn't a movie I was all that excited about what upsets me is he has just gotten finished doing a remake of death race 2000 which was one of the movies I wanted to make as director that's all right now whatever along with somebody keeps the monkey island franchise clean that's the one I want to do what I want to make a monkey on movie absolutely because it is everything it's my kind of humor and but not in a way that pirates the Caribbean was you know they had its own kind of humor but still it was kind of a fun right you know kind of thing monkey island is strictly humor a lot more fun and lots of monkeys lots of soda and you know you got to distance yourself a couple a little while from the Pirates of Caribbean movies or else it'll feel like epic movie you know for pirates right it'll feel like it'll feel like a parody film but I don't have a pirate overload kind of like we're having a zombie you definitely are gonna have a pirate overload and there definitely is a zombie yes you can you're still in a zombie movie though I will always do like zombie all go word zombies in it all go but I'm saying that I'm getting to the point where it's almost too much right now cuz you're so many coming out what's that new one the British one that's coming out it's like a comedy it's quirky you guys interested in British it's trying to the dead no no it looks like it almost might be a sequel or it's just a shot of the dead I haven't heard of it it's called Fido it's called Fido and it's kind of I'm not sure is it directly okay is it directly connected to shot of the dead you're asking me questions about a movie I don't even know exists all right well it's I think it's called Fido it's a movie that is zombies and it remember what at the episode of the dead when you guys were seeing the world after shot of the dead and people would keep them as pets and like people would keep them alive well this is this takes place in that type of world you know what I think I have seen this yeah and I'll go see it and it has one zombie and he's cute me like he's not cute I mean he's some guy but like he's very sympathetic and you see him during the trailer like escape and you know they let him off the leash and he eats the neighbor or something like that nope I haven't seen it I lied and camera back over here VJ this guy's an asshole bunch of stuff I'm gonna go see that but I think after that it's just way too much no the movie I want to see that has been I mean I think this movie's been done for like two or three years his black sheep the movie about the it's a movie about aliens possessing sheep it's a New Zealand film and in the sheep attack came in and in Laura goes have you seen the trailer for this film I said yeah I saw it six months ago in the film still hasn't come out and I don't know if anybody's picked it up to be distributed to the U.S. it scares me when a huge herd is coming over the field they're like a sitting outside it's so scary it's killer it's a killer sheet movie yeah they have to have fun with it among many other reasons why this is the Laura show you're here all the time can I have some time sweetie in his defense I live in the Laura oh I'm kidding maybe keep it up as I'm reaching for my I don't even know what I mean let me get a four-year meet my shirt all right wait I'm all my boobs let me get that for you I can actually cut the post on this episode oh my god I was in the Chris Farley Chris Farley David Spade movie in black sheep yeah when I heard that um so VJ you liked Silent Hill the film Christoff cans the same director who did brotherhood as a wolf did you like brotherhood of the wolf it was okay so so he's doing the Unamusha movie you know only Masha the the PlayStation game it's like have you played it VJ now it's like it's like a samurai in time game right and it's like either puzzles and stuff in the game is kind of cool never played the game but I always thought it was a pretty cool idea genre no was in the like third one voice talent and like the likeness of the character Christoff Gans is doing that as a movie we'll definitely see it but we would probably won't see it until like 2009 and drunk I was drinking red wine like did I make you nervous do I make you with my with my nerd like magnetism now I was just drinking so fine so so that was your excuse that night that you were drunk what are the things that that are like when do I get too geeky for you other times I can't give advice to the geeks of the audience because the fact is that you were a nice guy you are nice southern hospitality from Texas boy you respect women generally when he's in relationships with them not when he's joking about them you know you have a great sense of humor you're good-looking you're you know tall I mean you're attractive and then to boot I thought you were you were smart you're well educated you're really respectfully love your parents you love your brother you you know I remember one time you called Paul that would call my sister's a great sister's great brother and I will call them and just to shoot the shit and say hi to them and if they're not there I will say hey it's Laura just call to say hi talk to you later they'll call me we'll talk to each other it's fine Jonathan called his brother once and he goes hey just call and say I love you okay I love you bye and he hung I don't know I don't know and it's the last thing he hears from me and it's those things that that are just sweet about back and I've been hit by a bus what happens at least he has like me saying I love him right and he can play it and torture himself forever by listening to it well drives himself insane I don't know but I'm just saying you're you're just a sweet carrying big-hearted you love dogs I love dogs I mean but for all the weird things that you say that you have that are difficult or challenging because you're a geek I'm sure I have the same things because I'm not yeah but the whole makes up for it thanks and the fact I'm kidding dude the dog thing I mean we're we're crazy about our dogs and so I've dated guys who were I don't know weren't you well yeah but there were geeks for motorcycles there were geeks for right there were gear heads and there were geeks for tattoos didn't get enough music right everybody's got their own obsession everybody has is what would you say just stuff like that but they do the boys and they're the new issue number seven came out on dynamite and this one is a new story arc yeah where the butcher the lead dude this is the the team who reminds me the kind of guys I dated before Jonathan right I'm I'm more like the little guy you're like I'm like yeah I'm Hughie you use today guys more like the butcher right so the butcher takes Huey to meet the guy who makes comic books because the butcher in Huey's job is to take down superheroes who and because a lot of them are rapists a lot of them are horrible human beings this new character's job is to keep them shining in the public eye by making comic books propaganda propaganda and at the same time there's a new character named the technite who's kind of a Batman type character and he's obsessed with fucking things and so you think yeah he bucks like anything that's a hole he fucks his aunt his nieces like Barry you know and kills it yeah and he's have he's having a hard time he fucks his therapist coffee cup yeah in his cat and he has it no he doesn't it wasn't the cat no he he fucked the coffee cup and it was hot and that's what he yelled and then he asked him for burn cream oh that's funny because when the cat ran out he's like I thought the cat ran out because it just got rocked yeah oh you got it slow down yeah yeah yeah so down they're eating so did you do you enjoy this because you kind of started losing interest in the boys I was getting mad at the boys because it was getting to shock to get graphic long to graphic comic book and to gratuitous with its violence and its stuff and I was like okay find the story get back to it because I like the premise I think it's great and so I kind of I liked this getting back to that this is the first time reading the boys that I've actually laughed out loud because this dude's really trying hard not to hump his sidekick which is like this Robin type character yeah you know he sends him off on a mission here I don't care anything just get out of here because if he stays he's gonna help the hell out right and when he leaves he's he like crumbles he says something like Laura at Mercy yeah and I actually laughed out loud reading that for the first time and reading the boys and I feel like a I think that they're getting dropped by vertigo let it kind of a fire under their asses to really kick the series of a notch yeah but also like like I was talking to Kat from Universal Comics I get my comics from talking about it and he said you know what preacher didn't start kicking ass until like issues 7 or 8 people forget that my first six issues of preacher took a little while to get rolling you know and I feel like now that maybe they're getting in their groove in this series will start going somewhere you know because kind of tread water for a little bit so the boys is out you guys can find it I recommend it you recommend it I recommend it what other stuff do you read you sometimes I read why the last man but I haven't read we found I was so excited to to find the new trade when we were in Philly but I haven't got into it yet I have other stuff waiting for me mm-hmm preacher I haven't I haven't visited preacher you know like two trades away from finishing so painful walking dead I love that book you gasp out loud when you read that book yeah oh yeah on the plate I'm like ah think this one's a lot more fun because the mini games are better because it's a Wii yeah it was fun I mean I lost all the minigames that I figured I'd lose I didn't win because you won because of strategy because you're like a star is right yeah you have to get stars just like any of the mini games just like any of the Mario Party games I can't do that I can't drive with it damn it's fine that's why I hate it but yeah it was fun and I yeah I got to I got to take out DJ because they told me too because it's like strategy and I don't play like that I just play because it's nice and stuff but they were like you kill him you know there are a couple times when when you had the you get bonuses it's like a board game and you eat candy to you know you use them as like ways to like take other people out and you were in position twice to take out VJ and you were gonna pass on it because you were a nice girl but we told you not to pass on it because you got to get competitive this is do you think this would be fun to have like a Mario Party night and have people over yes and for those of you who drink I think it'd be a fantastic drinking game totally funny like you land on the red you have to do a shot of something you land on the end of it you guys are hammered and like you're having sex with people who don't even have arms right it'd be fun it could be a fun evening right so you recommend it would you do I'm gonna get the game so that we can play it now because I get you games and and you play them like four times and you don't play them anymore hey I don't know whose to like pull my emotions to in order to start a new garden maybe I mean I wouldn't mind playing some of the games that we play that we don't play that like I'd like to get further and Rayman like I
