Good morning. Welcome in to the Billy and Lisa morning show. You've got Billy, you've got Lisa, you've got Justin, you've got Winnie, and you've got producer Riley over there in the command center. So we've got it covered. And Lisa Donovan, this is or will be the last day of this annoying heat wave. Yeah, this is it. So the heat advisory is still in effect for today. We will see some afternoon storms though between 4 and 10 p.m. Oh boy. Yeah. So if you've got anything planned tonight, thunderstorms with lightning, I'm hosting a free movie night outside at the East Boston shipyard. I love this. Yes. You know, I batten down the hatches. Oh, what would you guys pay to see me struck by lightning? Oh, God. For sure. Then I even paying you. Yeah. Well, I mean, it could be not in your area. Yeah, you know, everything's going to be fine. Yeah. By the way, bring the kids. East Boston shipyard. We're showing a little mermaid. Oh, that's awesome. That's awesome. Wait, the live action or the cartoon? The newer one. For the live action. Yes. I believe. Awesome. Yeah. That's cool. I think the storms are west of 495. So I think you're making. Oh, good. Yeah. I think I saw that. It's going to stay west until like after 10 p.m. or something. There were some storms in Salem, New Hampshire last night, real quick. Yeah. When I was going to bed. Yeah. Well, it's just so humid. I mean, it just it's so ripe for storms. Yeah. Yes. Right. God, it's been hot. Oh, yeah. Well, you know, it's I get home yesterday. I'm having a lot of work done on my house. And so there were guys working on my house yesterday outside just pouring sweat. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just crazy crazy. By the way, second day of Amazon Prime Day. Anybody buy anything yesterday? I did. I bought pool floats. Oh, I saw those. You showed me the picture. Yeah. 15 bucks. Oh, nice. Oh, they're great. Four for $15. They're great. They're great. They have you blow up two sides and then there's like a hammock mesh hammock in the middle so you can lay but still be in the water and have your head and feet. Yeah. But it's they're so great. That's great. And you can pack them on trips. Yeah. Like they just fold up. Yeah. You know what we do at our house. We she buys these giant floats, these swans flamingos, right? And then we put them at the bottom of the pool slide. And then we have contests where you slide down and try to hold on to the float. Fortunately, the life of the float is not that long. We really only lost a day or two. Yeah. Now, do your floats have cup holders? That's critical. They do. Yeah. Okay. It's a national hot dog day. Yes, it is. Okay. Hot dog day. Nothing more American than eating a hot dog except maybe eating an apple pie with a hot dog in it. Oh, I wish I was an Oscar Meyer wiener. Yeah. Nothing is what I truly like to be as if I was the Oscar Meyer wiener. Everyone would be in love with me. Nicely done. Oh, we were asking for that yesterday. Yes. And we got it. Yeah. Because the wiener mobile has been seen all over Boston. Mm hmm. Yep. So you guys getting hot dogs today or what? I'm wondering why they're not here already. Cool early. If you go to showcase between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. today, 5 cent Nathan hot dogs, which Nathan is one of the best brands of hot dogs in my life. Right. So go see a movie. Yeah. Get your hot dog. It's good AC in there. There you go. It's the perfect thing. It's the perfect day. It's going to be hot. Yep. Go inside and go outside. Go see, you know, one of the fabulous movies like a quiet place. You could go see long legs, long legs. Oh, yeah. Yep. Despicable me for. I'm nickel. Movie in a dog. That's an old school. I know I love it. Hot dogs. So who's in charge of getting the hot dogs this morning? It's Winnie. It's Winnie. This is her holiday. Producer Riley, I might ask him to go out at some point because I can't see you. No. Yeah. Winnie's paying. Hey, pass the word around. It's free hot dogs on Winnie tonight. It's free hot dogs on Winnie. Everyone's going to get a free hot dog for Winnie. Okay. All right. Let's go. Boy, this could be the first time you've picked up the test. Exactly. Let's go showcase for a movie and I'll play for everybody. Oh, my God, everybody. I spent $2. I get $20 for a dollar. Imagine that. I got to share their story. Lisa Donovan and her family saved a family of bunnies yesterday. Well, we tried. The boys called me. They said there are four baby bunnies on our patio. Yeah. I mean, these were really tiny ones and one had already passed. So when I got home, because they obviously left the nest. So it wasn't like we took them out of the nest. So we brought them in and we fed them with droppers, goat milk, because I googled that that's what you're supposed to do. And they took the milk and then, you know, we kind of placed them back to where we thought they should be. Oh, you put them back out in the wild? Well, because again, I can't do this for, you know, three weeks. I physically can't do it. They're wild bunnies. They're wild. But yeah, we already have a bunny. Like, yeah. First of all, bunnies. I mean, when I was walking my car today outside my apartment, there was two of them at my car. They are everywhere. They are everywhere in the dark. You know that they're only pregnant for a month? Oh, no wonder there's so many of them. If that was the case, we'd have so many more children. If you don't know what I want, they just keep them. Wow. And then when the nest gets disturbed, the mom unfortunately leaves the nest. Right. Well, these be, I have to say, these bunnies were already out of their place. Yeah. So there was something going on there. Lisa was trying to save the bunnies. Can I get you anything, my little baby bunny? Well, you did. You got the goat milk. Anyway, they are now bunny whispers over there done in house. I'm just saying. And Riley did a good job, I'm told. He did a good job. That's it, Max. Yeah. Good. Yeah. Hey, we've got pink tickets at seven, ten new kids tickets at eight, ten. We've got summer cash, a thousand bucks to put in your pocket at nine, ten this morning, coming up in entertainment. It's not enough that the American League won the World Series last night, but a member of your Boston Red Sox had the game-winning home run and got the game MVP. And we're going to hear from that guy next from the Planet Fitness Kiss 108 studios. We're back with the Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss 108. So yeah, a couple minutes ago, we're talking about National Hot Dog Day today. We talked about showcase cinema certain hours today. We'll have five said hot dogs. There's a fud rockers deal, Winnie. Yeah, I only, there's only one, the running, I think now I think the one on Route 1 closed, but it's a dollar while supplies last today. While supplies last, fud rockers in running hot dogs, get your hot dogs here. It's a nice hot dog day. Justin, you got talkbacks in there? Yeah, send your messages into the show. You can check in on the iHeartRadio app using our talkback feature. It's that red microphone when you stream kiss live, which by the way, you can do anywhere in the world. And yeah, to the morning crew, this is Bridget leaving a talkback for the first time and calling from the beautiful southern region of Portugal in the Algarve and it is absolutely gorgeous here. I turned 30 last week, so this is me celebrating my thirtieth birthday and taking myself on a solo adventure. Next stop, Ireland. Ciao. Wow. That's so cool. Just traveling alone. Good for her. So she's in Portugal and she's heading to Ireland. Nice. It's quite the trip. Didn't we do a whole segment on this last year about solo travel? Yes, we did. It's real popular now. Yeah. That's pretty cool. I wouldn't mind. It's fun. I wouldn't mind it either. Yeah. All right. Where we want it? Well, we can't be waiting. Where do you want to go? Where do you want to go? Wherever you want, though. Yeah. It's all you. You know what? I'll just leave right now. Now the entertainment update with the Billy cod step. We got to start with the all-star game last night. Not enough. The American League won the game 5-3. Jaren Duran of your Boston Red Sox had the game winning home run here was the call on the 5th. Here's. I want to bet. Jaren Duran. That one will leave the yard and give the American League its first lead of the night. Boy, this dream season for Jaren Duran continues here with a home run in the all-star game. Yeah. I'll say it does. He also got the all-star game MVP. Here he is. Honestly, I can't really put into words right now. I'm kind of overwhelmed with emotions, but I'm just very thankful to be here and to represent the Red Sox is a big honor. Pretty cool stuff right there. Very cool. At the home run Derby, of course, Monday night country singer Ingrid Endress butchered the national anthem, not necessarily an MVP performance. She apologized yesterday and said, I'm sorry, but I was drunk and she's going to rehab. Okay. Yeah. She's getting help. Has a real problem. Yeah. Yeah. And now we know. Yeah, we do. At the all-star game last night, David Ortiz psyched and pumped his 20-year-old son, DeAngelo, was just drafted by the Red Sox. When you see you kids, you know, moving forward in their lives, you know, toward, you know, being success and all the stuff is a lot of motion goes for you. And before, you know, let's do it, let's keep up the good work. Daddy, love you. Oh. That's got to be so cool. I love this for that. You know, what's interesting that I was reading about it is that the Red Sox spoke for someone saying that we picked him for his talent and he said it's just a plus that David his dad. Yeah. I think with the brawny LeBron stuff. Well, no. Everyone's like nepotism, but they were very adamant that they picked him for his strength. You have power hitter. Yeah. Surprisingly. Brony James. Well, now the other new thing is that they show highlights of Brony James in the summer league. Did you see yesterday? He's shooting airballs. I mean, he's playing like he should still be in college. Well, yeah. Jalen Brown did some controversy because he was, they caught him on the sidelines and he was, they read his lips and he said, you know, Brony's not a pro. And then his girlfriend said, well, she'll be in the G League and then he said, no, because of his name. He'll be on the way. That's all legit through a left breeder, but it's nobody gets hurt. You know, LeBron's on the team and son will be on the team. I mean, I think a prospect that could use the money might get hard hurt, not some rich kid. There you go. Okay. Uh, just announced pit bull will headline the halftime show at the WNBA all star game, which is Saturday night boo, boo, boo, boo, boo, boo. That's a good choice. I think it's a good choice. He's got, he's got a lot of hits. I know you want me. I know you want me. I know you want me. You know, I want you as our buddy, Lewis Capaldi right there. So Noah Khan has his shows out at Fenway Park tomorrow night and Friday night. The ticket tag is still going on. You go to the kiss one and wait Instagram for Noah Khan tickets or at least for a shot at Noah Khan tickets. Meantime, he was on with Seth Meyers last night. He says he gets very nervous on stage and he doesn't rule out the possibility of peeing himself. I think nerves kind of stay consistent for me throughout my life. That's helpful. I mean that genuinely. I don't think I feel it less. I've never relaxed at any point. I have to pee so bad right now. Okay. And this is only going to be like 10 minutes when you're on stage. That's like hours. What do you do when you have to pee then? I just peeped my pantaloons and I just go right there on stage. Second story this week we had of someone peeing their pants. I hope he's joking. I think he is. I guess we'll have to see when he's out at Fenway Park tomorrow night and Friday night. If he doesn't stop the show at any time to go pee. There you go. It's like at my pool. Okay. We have a big party. Not there was about 40 kids there for four to five hours. Not once did a kid ask to go use the bathroom. So they're all peeing in the pool? Of course they are. Oh my God. Where else would they pee? They're not saying can I go in the bathroom or can I go in the woods? They're just swimming. Oh no. You know, now that you say that every time we've had a pool party. Do they ever ask to go pee? No one ever asked to go to the bathroom. Here's the thing. They enjoy peeing in the pool. It feels good. Okay. Well Billy, you've done more in the ocean than people do in the pool. Okay. I don't think we want to go there again. A little experience I had in the Virgin Islands. And then you say it was freeing and magical. Incredibly enough it was all that in there. Yeah. So let the kid pee in the pool. Okay. Billy went to the Virgin Islands and when he left it was just called the island. Emmy nomination is going to come out this morning and look for the show The Bear to do very well. I haven't seen that yet. We need to watch that. Yeah. But anyway, the nominations will come out today. Just announced the next single from Taylor Swift's new album is I can do it with a broken heart. Cause I think it's my birthday, every day. I'm so excited for him but he avoids me, like a fake. I got a lot but I am so afraid I feel it's an art. What do we think? I mean this song's been over like TikTok a lot so it's definitely been popular. It's catchy. Yeah. His brothers had a tough time covering Garth Brooks, the song Friends in Low Places. When have you heard this yet? I have. People describing the rodeo thing or that they did recently this weekend. Well, it's being described as bad karaoke and here they are. Okay. So yeah, Joe, Joe had a tough time forgetting words off key. Yeah. Well, they don't really have deep voices. Oh, here we go. The defendant. No matter what they do. They can't go that low. You know what I mean? Like I could probably go lower than they can. They don't have deep voices. Yeah. Listen, and they have been known to mess up lyrics. I can't defend that Joe's Joe messes up lyrics all the time. So what have we learned? We've learned that the Jonas Brothers should not be the next pop act to go country. No, but they don't. They were just doing a song. I think they did something in with Bailey's Emmerman. They did something country this week. I knew that. Okay. Leave all alone. Boy, you are loyal to those guys, aren't you? Twenty years strong next year. Okay. Meantime, Missy. Missy Elliott making history her song, The Rain, the first hip hop song ever to be blasted into space. Are they blasting us so they can't come back home because like they're stranded? I know. That's a weird story. Is that who's played it? They played it in Venus. This went to Venus. Oh, not the people that were stuck on that bowling thing. Who's listening in Venus? And what's the point? Who's up in Venus? I don't know. Can you get to Venus? Aliens. Wow. By the way, the for the record, the first song ever was Jingle Bells. Yeah, 1965. Yeah. How did they get up there? Okay. I don't know. Good question. I don't even care. I actually don't care. I don't even care. There's no need to ask questions. It is what it is. And Lisa Donovan, I plucked this from your world as the fashionista, our Eligrande, is the new brand ambassador for Swarovski. Oh, good for her. Don't forget, she's in the new Wicked movie that comes out November 26th. That's going to be a big one. It's going to be as this movie's been going on for the production of the year and years and years and years. And both parts are already made. So the first part comes out in November and the second one comes out November of 2025. Yeah. And Lenny Kravitz was doing a show in Italy when suddenly his phone rang on stage. And what do you know? There's Denzel Washington. Maybe he knew Denzel was calling, but he had him on FaceTime. That's so cool. That's pretty cool. There's a Prince documentary coming to Netflix, but there's a problem. The documentary, as it stands, is nine hours long. And Netflix wants it cut to at least six hours. I think they're right. I think Netflix knows what they're doing. They really do. Yeah. That's a lot. Despicable Me is the first animated franchise to top the five billion marks. So go see it at Showcase Cinemas, right? Please get a five-cent TikTok. Exactly. Today. Five-cent TikToks today. Go for lunch. Yeah. And Fudrockers, what's the deal again on the hot dog day? $1. Well-supplies last. I don't know how the location is one in Reading. Yeah. Fah. It's National Hot Dog Day. It is. I feel like I need to go to all these places and get a hot dog. Still looking around. I don't see anything. Billie, it's 649. It's a little early, dude. Good news. Lace Madonna is resuming production on her biopic. Oh, okay. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I had this earlier. Good morning. It's the mayor of the South, then, with some new Madonna news. Yeah. She's finished touring. She's working on her new biopic, which will focus on her early days in New York. And the working title is called "Who's That Girl?" I wonder who could play a young Madonna. I say Ariana Grande would be good. Now, I have a -- it's a hot joke for today. I found a new setting on my ear conditioner. It's called Bankrupt. Have a great day. Woo! Thank you. Thank you. The mayor of the South, then, right there. And Sad News, finally, Ben and J.Lo spent their second wedding anniversary separately. She was driving around the Hamptons with Benny Medina and it's convertible. What are they going to do it? I don't know. But she was still -- she still had her ring on. I don't get this. Yeah. And by the way, if it's your anniversary and you're sad about spending it alone in the Hamptons, why drive around in a classic Mercedes convertible so everybody can see you? She has a mental illness. You know that. I think so. She's always with Benny Medina, too. You haven't noticed that. Always. For decades. Like, this is 40 years with Benny Medina. Why don't they just date? I don't know, right? I don't know. They work out together. Yeah. They go out to dinner together. They travel together. Wow. I wonder if he's married. She must -- I got to look this up. Yeah. But, I mean, at this point, their business partners, like, I don't know. She can't seem to figure it out. Maybe Benny's the answer. It's so sad. But he was seen in a suit yesterday going somewhere. Caring a duffel -- yeah, carrying a duffel bag going into his office. Oh, Ben? Yeah. Is he sleeping at the office? I don't know. But if they put the mansion up for sale, 65 mil. But a few days ago, Violet, Ben's daughter, it was her. She was in the Hamptons with J.Lo. They're very close. Which is nice. That's okay. I mean, that's nice. I like that. She's very close for now. She's very close with everyone's kids that she is. Her and A-rock kids were like this. Hey, we're brought to you by Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club. From the Planet Fitness Kiss 108 Studios, we're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss 108. Yeah, we're back. Hey, and let's give away some pink tickets and not listen. Pink is amazing in concert, okay? I can tell you that from personal experience. She's amazing. She's coming to Gillette Stadium. I forget what she calls it, like the clown festival or something, or probably the circus. Which would make sense? She'd say clown festival. Something like that. It's got a weird name. The tour has a weird name. You'll see. Look it up. You'll see. Anyway, it's August 21st out at Gillette Stadium Pink's Covenant. It's called the Summer Carnival. Okay. So what I mean, carnival circus, what's the difference, right? Clown show, same thing. The main thing is that Riley with a Y is standing by in the command center and you will call it. I love that. Collard 25, you're going to have a shot at pink tickets. You know what? Let's just make the keyword carnival. Carnival. The keyword clown or clown will take either one carnival, okay? 6179311108. Give us a call right now. You get some pink tickets if you're Collard 25 and if you know the keyword and you're got talkbacks in there, Justin. Good morning. Morning crew. We are up early here and hand over except at 3.30 and then again at 5.30 because we got a puppy this week. So speaking of Billy's love for his dog and we also adopted our sweet girl and we are very excited but also very tired. Justin feels like you need to dog up in New Hampshire. You getting one anytime soon? Well, Justin and Jen tried the dog thing. It didn't work out. Well, you had just had a baby. Yeah. Yeah. We'll try again soon. Can I be honest as to why I'm so hesitant? We are eventually going to get one. So I have a backyard. It's, you know, it's a good size yard, right? And so I know that I will be walking the dog but I can't be the only one. So let's start out. Why do you have to walk the dog? Just have just put the dog in the backyard. No, no, no. It's not sense. I don't want to walk the poop in the yard. That's my point. All right. So, so if I walk the dog that's fine, the dog poops, I clean it up. I don't want poop in my yard. So what's going to happen is I know that my wife, who I love and my mother-in-law downstairs, they're going to say they're going to walk the dog or clean up the poop but they won't. I know that. And then there's going to be poop all over my back. Well, the dog usually finds one spot that I like to go in. So then it's all going to be in one area and my husband goes once a week and picks it up. I walk out to the wood. He goes a whole week. Also, there's a pooper scooper like a company. I mean, I mean, it's twice a week but it's always in one area. Yeah. I don't want to go out to my yard and there'd be poop. When I was a kid, my aunt had dogs and she used to let the dog poop all over the yard. So I stepped in dog poop as a kid a lot and it's PTSD. Fun fact. Wow. Anyway, speaking of the New Hampshire. Good morning, morning crew. It's book club and broken shoulder, Marsha, crazy weather. This night there was a radio warning about possible tornado coming into our town. I'm about 15 minutes west of Hampton Beach. So they said to shelter in a downstairs or inside part of the house to avoid sighting or shingles flying off or tree limbs coming down or possibly getting carried away like Wizard of Oz. Luckily, nothing happened. I'm still here. Yeah, we've missed a lot of these big storms. We get all kinds of warnings that seems this summer and we tend to get lucky and miss a lot of it. I was sleeping. I didn't know. I mean, I'm in Salem. It's not too far from Hampton, but that's scary. That is scary. It's really scary. I'm hosting a movie night tonight under the stars and hopefully I can see the stars through the clouds. You'll get carried away. It's going to be fine. Let's go to Heather on who is calling 25 Heather. Corn and ball, baby. I'm shaking. I have been calling. I said yesterday I'm winning those tickets. And here we are, baby. Here you go. Here we are. And you are ready to go. You had the code word, the keyword, everything else. And now you're going to see pink out at your let's stadium August 21st, girl. You guys are the best. I love you so much. I actually won tickets last year to Fenway for her for you guys. You're the best. I love you. Well, we love you right back. And thanks for listening. But Heather, don't hang up. Okay, because you'll screw everything up in the command center. Oh, I'm not going anywhere. Don't worry. So hold on. And you'll talk to producer Riley. And off you go to pink, that's going to be an awesome show. Congratulations, Heather. Yeah. So one of our listeners having a hard time, right, because well, how to do with two things, right? I have a question, Justin, that doesn't drink. I don't drink. I go out to eat with everybody. And one of them has a hard time with me just saying I want to pay for my food because I don't want to pay for all their drinks. And she thinks I should split the bill evenly down with everybody. I don't think I should have to because I don't drink alcohol. Let me know what you think, Justin. You don't drink. It's going to be a hot topic. This is going to be a hot one. But I do agree with her. She shouldn't be splitting all the liquor money. Yeah, I don't often go out with people that drink. I don't often go out, period, you know, obviously I have two small kids. But the few times that I do or have, I just say split it evenly. But if I was like her and going out regularly with Apple, I would say something to sure. I totally agree. I don't think she should have to pay for it because yeah, that's the most expensive part of the bill. Yeah, especially now, it's like $25, $26 a drink. Right. So I agree with you, Justin. She should not. And like I think you when he was saying out there, bring cash. Yeah. Yeah. I think if you really don't want to split the bill evenly, right, you should bring cash. Like, you know, oh, it was, my, my meal was 20 bucks here. It's 30. That should include everything with a tip or whatever. And then you don't have to worry about the credit card splitting. Right. I don't drink a lot. Like I'm not sober. Like Justin, but like I really don't drink often when I go with my friends and most of my friends do drink. If it's a very close friend and they get like a glass of wine, I get a soda. I'm not going to fret over five or six bucks. But if it's someone that's drinking, you know, three, four drinks and I didn't have anything but like an iced tea, like no, my friend would be like, Oh, like, you know, just give me, you know, them, mommy. Right. Yeah. Your friends also need to sort of say something and be like, Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, she said. You just pay for your food. One of her friends, I guess, wants her to split it. Yeah. I don't, I don't get that. I disagree with that. You're out with five people. Right. Like three couples. And you're the only one not drinking. Yeah. And they're drinking like, you know, five or six drinks. Yeah. If they're having even three drinks each, right? So that's okay. 15 drinks at over $20 a pop and you're not involved in the drinking. Personally, I think she needs better friends because I could not, I can't really let my friend do that. Like, I went out to one, I mean, Brexit, my friend and her kid, and she tried to like, pay for the whole thing. I'm like, the kids, me, I was like six bucks. I was like, it's fine. Like, you know, you can just leave the tip and set because she felt like, well, my kids here, I got to, I'm like, no, I'm like, it doesn't make sense. If you don't have a friend that cares about you enough to like me, even when it comes to this stuff, I think you knew friends. Yeah. Especially because she's speaking up and the friend is like, you know, I'm down just with the bill. Yeah. It's wrong. And not to throw more wood on the fire, but I do, I do think though that if this is just a one off and you're going out with like a group of coworkers and it's like a bigger thing and it's not every, you know, every week, then like you said, Justin, just take one for the team. There's a time and what it even like, right? That's what I do. Yeah. And you know, the times that I do go out, the person like when he's friend, one drink, yeah, what's that? It's like nothing. Right. It's like the conversation, but I think also like if you are going with people that drink that much and you're uncomfortable with it, then again, maybe don't go, maybe be like bring cash. I just feel like you need to advocate for yourself because most people are going to be like, Oh, it's just put them all and they don't say anything because they don't have, you know, they don't care. It's one thing about, you know, I don't drink, right? So when we go out to eat, it's, you know, because we don't drink, we're very quick because you don't do anything. Yeah. Like the food comes, we eat and we leave, you know, when you drink, get you socializing your time, you know, it's like, well, let's say, you know what, let's go to the bar for a drink. Yeah. You know, after dinner. Yeah. Another one, a weird one though, is if you're out, let's say you're out with another couple or a couple of couples and somebody out of nowhere orders like a $300 bottle of wine. How do you handle that one? Yeah. I think that happened to you. Oh, definitely. I would have a hard time with that, like a $300 bottle of wine. Absolutely. And, but I will say, usually the person that does that ends up picking up the whole tab, right? So sometimes you're hoping someone at the table or does an expensive bottle of wine because now you're getting off free. Well, that would suck 300 of them, you have to split it, split the bill. Some people. Yeah. Billy's friends. I mean, they're in a different tax bracket. I think the easiest solution when you're splitting the bill 5050 with somebody that drinks is you let them cover the tip. Like, that's just the easiest math is split the bill down the middle, let them cover the tip. It's always tip and cash because the air waitresses and waiters actually get more because credit card, fees and stuff come out of electronics. That's a great solution. I like that. Yeah. And we forget about that one too. Right. If you have the cash, tip and cash, it's better for the wait person who worked really hard to take care of you. I'm just saying. So I think we all agree on that. All four of us agree on that. It never happens. Yes. You all agree. Wow. That's actually a miracle. Yeah. You know what? Something else I've noticed and I don't know if this is a trend to meet more and more people are not drinking. Have you noticed that at all? I don't know. I have. There was a there was a report in Boston that people were drinking less. Yes. I think you are right about that. Well, they calculate most of my friends right now have noticed. Are they doing more of the cannabis? That's what I hear. Possibly. The gummies. They've already got the buzz on. Yeah. Yeah. Well, drinking, it's expensive. You go out and drink. It's expensive. I mean, now it's like a cocktail, $15 or more or yeah, or more, but standard now, it's like, I went, we were at, I mean, I go from like, I don't know where we were. We're at her. Her drinks were like, oh, we were at a restaurant, regular restaurant, normal prices. Her drink was $17, like $17 for Martini. Yeah. It's expensive. It's like a Tuesday afternoon. When I drank, I didn't go out and drink at bars. I drank. You know, I go to the liquor store. And I would buy the cheapest at liquor. Like I used to drink. Did you get nips? I used to drink nips and I used to drink called Wells vodka, brewed in Somerville. Yeah. Well, like five bucks. It's the well liquor they give you if you don't order a special, yeah, liquor with your cocktail. Yeah. But going out, it's, it's super expensive, but anyway, we have a lot of messages coming in, a lot of opinions on this topic and it is topic time, right, Bill? It's coming up right now, 6179311108 and everybody does have an opinion on this. So we want to hear them, send the talk backs, give us a call 6179311108Y because topic time is next. Here's 108. What is the topic? Today, we're going to be talking about Billie and Lisa presented topic time, talk amongst yourself. Topic time. And this morning is not just a topic. It could be a dilemma. Like if you're sitting out there listening right now, let's say for instance, hypothetically, you do not drink, okay? You go out with friends, they do and they're ordering drinks. Should you have to split the bill evenly, Justin, you want to start with talk backs? Well, that talk backer that left the initial question, uh, she's not the only one. Hey guys, Paula in Boston. I'm on TikTok, Paula in Boston. I just want to say that based on your topic that you're talking about right now, I went out with a bunch of my girlfriends for dinner. I got drinks, bottles and wine, appetizers for the table. I got chicken fingers and it cost me $100 because we had to split the bill. So I got $100 chicken fingers. Yeah. Yeah, that happens. That's happened to me. Paul, I am wondering though, at your age, I don't know how old you are. Chicken fingers. Chicken fingers? Really? Well, maybe that's chicken fingers. I love chicken fingers. I love chicken fingers. But like, what were they getting that you only got chicken fingers? And that's another awkward situation. The dinner table, right? The person that decides they're going to order apps for the table. I'll tell you what. Why don't you sit down and shut up and everybody just let everybody order what they want? No, if we decide we want apps and then someone has to be the one that says, okay, so we're getting for apps. There's nothing wrong with that. You know, and there's nothing wrong with chicken tendies, Paula. No, I love chicken fingers, but how did it go from her spending 10 and then everyone else sitting on her? I don't know. But I'm on Paula. Paula is Tik Tok right now. She's all over the place. She's in your age, Maine. She's in. She's at the child's on Navy Yard. But what did she do? Can I just say something about to Paula? I think Paula's right. I think that her friends should have noticed that Paula only ordered chicken fingers and said, just give us 10 bucks. Yeah. Like we don't expect you to pack. Right. Right. Yes. It's a separate bill. Hey guys. So for the topic of splitting the bill with people that drink and people that don't, I don't think the people that don't drink should have to pay into that bill. I think that they should have a separate bill or just put in for their water and their dinner and tip and that's it because I know when I go out, I can have quite a few drinks and that's probably the cost of two meals for them. Right. It's true. Very true. That's, that's the pretty much, I think, the best solution. It's just a separate bill, right? Yeah. I would say on a server's end, if you don't tell someone beforehand, the separate bill, sometimes there's so many items in the item itemized in office, it's actually annoying as a server. I mean, we'll do it. But I'm just saying, like, if you're going to say that, like tell them beforehand, or I'm sorry, be an adult and talk to your friends and say, here's $30. That's all I'm getting. That's right. I'm confused. What the big deal is? I guess they're still going to talk about you behind you. Talk about me. You know what? I'll have my money. I'm a young lady girl, a chicken tender girl. She should not have had to have paid $100. Yeah, poor Paula. Right. God, they must have been very good chicken tenders. I'm going to get on the street. Just knock off with friends. The only girl with family. That's the only time they ever go out with groups is with family. And at that point, it's just one of us picking up the entire bill. There's no splitting. So, and we all kind of take turns. So that kind of solves that problem. Yeah. For that, too. Yeah. I've got a couple of different groups I go out with pretty frequently and we try to remember who picked it up last time. Definitely. And then you pick up the next. So every third or fourth time you pay the bill. You know what? My solution is going out with Billy costs to only because I never picked the bill up. Or you never have to pick the bill up. Well, or Billy's friend that orders the $300 bottle, $300 wine, right, Bill? Sorry, Billy. But for us, normal folks, that's $300 bottle of wine does not get ordered with anybody. Sometimes I just need to keep things to myself. I hope one day I have that problem. I really do. Yeah. You know what? You dream hard when you probably will. I believe you did mention during that segment a few minutes ago that you noticed that people are not drinking as much. And then I said, I think I saw a story on that. I think I found out what it was. I feel like people aren't drinking as much because it's like trendy to be like a health guru and like fit and clean and whatever. So I feel like everybody's stopping drinking. It's just really annoying, but like good for everyone else. She actually sounded drunk right now. But no, I totally agree with her. I think that people are caught up in all of these crazy diets and crazy programs. That's true. But it's also, I'm telling you, the pot gummies and stuff and I will say sometimes like when I have a good time, again, I don't love to. I really just don't like to taste that much. There's only a few drinks I really like. And I'll pop an edible. Yeah. My friends will drink. And then I don't want to drink on it because then that's like a disaster. Yeah. Winnie, you don't drink much at all. No. Like, okay. I'll have a drink at brunch. I've got to have a couple. If I want to get like drunk on like my birthday or something, I really don't. Yeah. Well, Lisa usually has wine. Oh, yeah. I have my two glass limit and that's it. Yeah. Billy has one Cosmo starts talking like a baby. Yeah. Well, see, I don't do Cosmo's during the week. I have a glass of wine at night if it's a work night. But I'll tell you something, I could use a Cosmo right now. If I had one in front of me right now, I would be in heaven because I got to sit next to Winnie. Okay. I need a drink half the time. But on a separate part related topic here, because we're talking about restaurants going out to eat, we know Winnie is a big fan of the cheesecake factory on when he's talking about that. How you don't have a cheesecake factory endorsement is. I have been lobbying for that anyway, Winnie. I went to the cheesecake factory with my mom and my brother and could not believe how good everything was. I don't know if I just forgot or what. So now all I can think about is going back to the cheesecake factory. I got the spicy Chipotle pasta with fried mac and cheese. What pasta is your favorite? I know you've mentioned one before that places heaven and I understand why you love it. Well, my pasta dish is the four cheese pasta there. You can add chicken or not if you want a protein. But also it's considered a chicken dish with the chicken Bellagio has spaghetti with it. It's really good. So those are the two pasta dishes. Stop making those noises, Billy. Did she say she had the Chipotle pasta special and the side of mac and cheese. No, no, no, no, no, they have for an appetizer, they have mac and cheese like deep fried balls. Oh, of course. They're really good. They're really good. Boy, that's good eating right there. They're delicious. Yeah. You'll meet your little little. I have Billy. Oh, man. I'm mad. You get factory. You know what he got? Meatloaf. Yeah, it's by the way. You don't go to the cheese. You better get meatloaf. But, you know, I'm just sitting there. What's wrong with a good meatloaf? Pop in the cheese balls. They're delicious. He ruined everything. Yeah, he does. Okay. I'm telling you, you have to eat before you go out with Bill. Yeah. Okay. Oh, I'll tell the story every time when I first started working here, we went to Bruno Mars and me and my sister sat next to him and she ate her hot dog up in the concourse area because she didn't want to miss your eating. No, it's true. You shame people for eating. Yeah. I eat whatever I want in front of a model care. I like that. Me too. Well, because I, you know, I try to eat very, you know, strict. Right. And so when I'm out with Billy, I'm usually cheating. I'll gorge. I don't know. And not only will we gorge in front of him, we'll make him pay for it. Oh, yeah. That's how you really get it. Yeah. It's on me. Really build a meatloaf at the cheesecake factory. Was it good? He said it was like a six out of ten. Oh, I thought he was excited about it. Meatloaf! We want it now!
