Tonight’s Episode Is My Podcast Series BrandonJaneauShow:Point Of View Or Random Shit And On This Episode I’m Talking About All The Crazy Ass Stories Happening In Hollywood

- Hello, welcome to another episode of the Brain Genome Show. As you know, I am Brain Genome. Like always, oh, I get platforms everywhere. Brain Genome Show, social media platforms, Instagram, TikTok, threads, Facebook. Brain Genome Show, and of course, YouTube channel, Brain Genome Show, go, ask the visuals, comment, I do comment back, follow, (claps) subscribe, I should just say, follow the launches, subscribe to this, my YouTube channel, Brain Genome Show. I hope you guys enjoy this, man. Having that is in a minute. So let's see if I can get back to it. Point of view, a random shit. Couple of topics I wanna talk about. Just get my point of views on it, and maybe you think it's random shit. I don't know, it just depends on what you feel. So, last week, it was the first presidential debate. I didn't watch it, 'cause I don't wanna be depressed. All in all, man. I said people being like, oh my God, Joe Biden laws, and these media places, they're saying Joe Biden laws, the debate. And then when I saw some clips on social media, I'm like, so the man was, who was trying to actually make sense of questions there. Like, listen, I'm not saying Joe Biden is the brightest tool in the shed or some shit. No, he's not, I'm not gonna say that. But when you hear a Trump talk, it's like fucking wood fire. Like, it's burning, baby, like it's just like, you know, at least Biden's trying to make sense of what the fuck you're trying to ask him. Trump is literally just talking in fucking circles. Like, I don't, and this is the thing that I feel like we do in this world, man. We do this shit too much, which is like, we move, we have different standards for different people. You know, Biden is not dead. You know, mentally, they're like, yeah, that's the thing. Like, I don't think Biden is presidential debate tonight. His shit, he's not good, okay? But if he does two debates with Trump, you're gonna find, if he could just make sense of it, make sense of the conversations, he will easily win this. 'Cause despite what people wanna say, they not voting Trump, they not voting Trump. There's too many things about Trump that just screams, dictator, like it just screams dictator. I just feel like, man, this situation I am, man, you gotta, we gotta be smart with this. And I'm not saying you gotta be like, I'm not saying, well I mean, you gotta have common sense. That's better. Common sense, I'm not this. Because I don't think this is, this is, this is, I think it's a hard election, perfectly though. I think, I think we just wanna see if Biden is actually aware of what's going on. And I don't mean, like, issues or anything like that. No, he's just aware of where he's at on stage. Like, he's on stage, okay? He knows that, okay, the real life is on. Okay, he knows that, okay. If he makes two or three comments on topics that we like, hmm, okay, that's all we needed to see. We're voting for Biden, let's be real. Like, everybody's gonna vote for Biden. If we can just, if he just makes just a sense of it, everybody's voting for Biden, like let's be real. I've seen people who try to like, oh, I see Trump, Trump didn't do shit on that stage. Trump was just asking for a delusion where his fucking Biden was, at least. But we keep moving, we try to make it like some standards for Biden, like, Biden needs standards for what he, no, man, that's shit, right? All in all man, listen man, also. So Trump also was giving the immunity. Only in things that can appease the presidential, presidential, but I think stuff that the president would actually be acquitted for, I think it was that, what the fuck you were saying? Some shit like that, I gotta read it a little bit more. But he was giving the immunity. How do I feel about it? I mean, they could still try him in actual real courts and shit still. He's not just walking free on you in this world, they could still try him for real shit. What do I feel about that? To be honest, I know some people will say how the hell is Trump running for president? And he's like a victim-filling, like a victim-filling. What did I just say? We moved the goal pose for people that we wanna move the goal pose for. Do I think Trump should win president? Fuck you. Probably 25, the more I hear about it, the more sounds even more fucked up than I ever could have imagined. But telling people about something like that, I don't think forces them to go do anything. I mean, that's the problem with the world. It's like you're trying to tell them, like, hey, this can really hurt you. And they're like, nah, nah. And it's something I said last week about consequences. We don't live in the world. What consequences do you? So a lot of people don't want. We've got more fucked up. We think the rules don't apply to us more. And it's like, because we now live in this world post-trans pandemic where we like, we make the rules and we do all this shit. We don't have any consequences for our actions like talking about it anymore. And I think that's the problem with this world we live in. So you tell us about it that, you know, project 20, project 20, 25 could really hinder you and it could really pretty much set this entire country back. They don't hear that. Trump is fun. Trump is in a president and that's fun. 2020 didn't really stop them. But this is a consequence that I think, again, we're not gonna be able to understand until if they are stupid, like a lot of people are nowadays, they're going to do it and then be like, oh shit, this is really stupid. This is really bad. We need consequences, again. But the only way it consequences, is we go through the bullshit. God, I hope he don't win. 'Cause people are stupid. Oh my God, people are stupid nine days. Oh, that's so fucking dumb. Anyway. The dumbest shit on social media right now is popping balloons. Love the kid, he pop a balloon and you usually get sad. You know what I'm saying? I'm a balloon pop, like hot. You're like, usually get sad, like that name, like this. Nah, this is new shit. Well, you walk in a room and these people are just pop balloons. There's been more women than men that's been doing this shit that I've seen. How do I feel about this shit? I think we're, I think we live in the world right now where it's hard to connect with people. If you're not physically what they want, or you're not financially what they want, or you're not, you know what I'm saying? Like, if you're not any of that, it's hard for you to connect with someone. So I get why you will probably go on a show like this, do something like this, I get it, because you get to meet some very attractive women. The only problem is that they are fucking superficial and stuck up like a son of a bitch, and I'm not saying all of them, but the videos I'm seeing, it's like these women got standards that are fucking real, like, bro, you have no standards, like your standards are literally predicated around looks and money, and it's like you don't give a fuck if the person's actually a genuine human being, and they can actually treat you, you just give a fuck about the looks and the money, and that's what puts you in the spot that you're in, where you're on a fucking show poppin' a fuckin' balloon. Like, you don't care, and the fact that you are y'all are on these shows tryin' to do this is like, I don't know about that, listen, I'm single, and I'm cool with it. Like, I would never do a show like that. Oh, man, I just, it just, I gotta be desperate, and I don't mean those people are desperate, but I would have to be desperate to be do a show like that, because it'd just be like, is it a point where I'm like, I don't see the wind? I don't see the wind. But it's like, you go on a show like that, man, I feel like a lot of those dudes that be goin' on that show, bro. They probably do go in with good intentions, and they're watchin' this shit. It's sorta seeing what these girls are tryin' to go in and pretty much, they're looking for. And some dudes goin' in there, man, like, yo, you don't know shit about me. You lookin' at my looks, and that's all, are you judging me off of? And this is kinda the first, like, this is really a show where you just, you see how super, like, like, how much standards matter to people, like the looks and money, and like, god damn, where I was like, this is the way we're livin'. We live in a social media world. It literally is that. So that's how people are perceivin' shit. The problem with that is genuine connections are not there anymore, and that's the problem. So when these people go on these shows, they're not really lookin' for a genuine connection. I lookin' for a person they could just take pictures with for the day. That's why they could take 'em out on a date. And that's fucked up. I wish it wasn't like that. Look at this, and it is what it is. Hair closin' this out, man. I feel like every year I gotta talk about this shit. BTO was, had just happened this past Sunday. My feelings on a BTO was very simple. Did it used to be something that we used to all look forward to? Of course, it used to be like that. A lot of shit used to be like that. A lot of shit we all used to look forward to. A lot of award shows we used to look forward to. All of these shows I lost at Luster. But the BTO was feelin' like one show that is really just a telltale sign that times have changed. Especially when it comes to our community. The BTO awards is not what it used to be. And it probably would never be to that point ever again. Because you have to get the actual superstars to actually do it. And no matter how many times we try to make certain people new big fuckin' artists, they're not Beyonce. They're not Rihanna. I don't know why the BTO awards have decided to pretty much cut all ties with Chris Brown outside of nominating him. But they're not Chris Brown. They're not Drake. I know people don't like him right now in so-called the community or the culture. But they're not Drake. Like they're not Kendrick. They're none of these guys. They're none of them. They're not Nicky. They're not Pat. They're not, so people would say stars, but they're not, they don't have the musical impact, like talking about it. So when you sit there and you watch the BTO awards, a lot of this shit is like, who the fuck is this? Oh yeah, I heard that song on social media. Yeah, that's all my girl TikTok. I don't really know who the fuck that was. I was just like, all right, you have to do it. You don't have that. You want to watch it for that person. And then you had it this year. You had a shit getting nominated. You get the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is another thing that the BTO was fucked up on, which was, and here's the thing, I can't really blame the BTO was because I should ask, should have been on the stage performing. I don't know why the fuck that shit wasn't performing. Like what the fuck, why, why were they not performing? He's getting the Lifetime Achievement Award. Why the fuck are you not performing? No, I can understand. I know you about to do your tour. So I can get, I understand why you probably aren't, like if you're, if you're, if you're, if you're only panicking on your tour right now, I get it. But that is a good work to do. I think, I never thought I'd see where social media be like turning on, I don't want to turn it on. But I saw a lot of people be like, man, why do they have so many women kind of usher? I've never thought I would see that shit. Amazing talented black women. It's not like they got some fucking some fucking randoms. Like they got actually talented black women on. Childhood and Beno did it. Like it was, it was like, okay. Like, but people like, you know, why did they get Chris Brown? Chris Brown was on tour. I get that. It also, like people forget like Chris and Usher had like a whole fight, but like a year ago. But I think he would do it out of respect. Maybe not. They might not be super cool that he used to be, but I think he would have done it out of respect for. And that's not that many black R&B artists like that anymore. Black male R&B artists like that anymore. But I would have definitely preferred to see lucky day or, you know, shit. Blacksman, you know what I'm saying? Or, or, you know, uh, uh, uh, fuck what's in the name? Um, and he actually did the, the, the, the NPA. I would have ever preferred to see two other dudes that did the NPR, Tony. That's, well, Usher, who was this two backup, big, uh, backgrounds like this? They should have been on stage. There are R&B artists. Like they should have did that shit with him for him. Like yeah, I totally agree that you shouldn't have got more admit, but it's at the same time. It's like, that's not what the eyes on the TV for it. Like it sucks that that's the way the BET Awards wanted to honor him. But on top of that, I feel like a lot of these award shows, if you're, if the person that you're honoring is not going to do the performance, I don't think you should be giving them the award. As much as I respect them as artists, lifetime achievement award. For me personally, it feels like, this is you performing your hits, showing people why you deserve this so much. Because they would avoid what the fuck we're getting now. A lot of these artists that, what I damn was supposed to do their job. Like I saw Tiana Tedda and Victoria Monet do a bagger. And I was like, man, that shit fire. You're like, you're killing that shit. I think people just want to complain. Coco Jones killed that shit. Like, I think people just want to complain nowadays. And that's just the way it is. I don't see the point of you complaining about something. That a year ago, you would have been like, yeah, that makes sense. Like, what the fuck? Like, bro, I don't get it. And again, like I said, that's not that many R&B black males in the game like talking about it. That one also can go out there and be usher for a second. Like there's only a few that can actually go out there and dance, they ask off and perform. Chris Brown, Lloyd, Neil. Do we talk about young? These mothers don't dance no more. So who's young that you need? Like, yeah, they can go out there and dance and do it. You got to realize usher embodied the entire entertainer. So it wasn't just about his music. It's not the performance. That's how Chados Gambino was on stage. And he was just singing. He wasn't dancing. But when it went to the dancing, it was the women that was dancing. Because it wasn't just about his songs. Usher embodies the entire entertainer. And that is why I felt like you could have went with men, but how many dudes actually are in our fucking taters? And not just voices. And that's what the problem would have been. It's like, yeah, they could sing, but nobody's dancing. And that's why I say it, like, it's a very short list once you get to who's in entertainer. Especially when it comes to black army artists, not dudes. Who's the entertainer? Chris Brown, Neo, Lloyd, Amorion. And he kind of like starts to run out the fucking list. All in all, man, BT to me also. I do not think Kendrick Lamar deserves three consecutive best male hip hop rap artists. Anyway, the man dropped what? He dropped his last album in what, 2022? So I get 2022. Okay, cool, whatever. You want to give it to him? Give it to him. Last year, it should have went to Jacob. This is my problem with certain war shows. It's like you got this standard. And when this person comes back, it's like, I'm just going to give it to this person, no matter what. Jacob was the best rapper for three years. Jacob, fuck that, four years. Jacob has been the best rapper for four fucking years in the fact that this man did not get one fucking BET award. But Kendrick has one verse in like three years. And he wins the best male hip hop. Nigga, what? Where's Ron's been killing shit for the last couple of years? He doesn't win best R&B male pop artists? Nigga, what? What? That's my problem with the war shows. You're like, you people want to sit there and say, ah, kid, it's shit or what? No, the fucking shit, what the fuck did he do? Up until the summer, this thing, I say shit for like six months, what the fuck are you talking about? This thing ain't saying shit since 2022. What the fuck are you talking about? Nah, fuck outta here. No, I love us. Chris Brown's better than us right now. Are you kidding me? You're fucking kidding me. Chris Brown's way better than us right now. Fuck outta here. Yeah, wash for duds. The only of what I agree with, totally agree with, kill 'em, I should've won out money here. That is the best day of damn decision. BT made it whole night. Kill 'em, Mike, should've won out money here. That was my old money here last year. He wanted to grammy's, he should've got nominated for our money at the grammy's. I think he was, but he should've won it. Dude, kill 'em, Mike, if y'all never heard of Michael, the album by killing Mike, go listen to that shit. I promise you, if you want real lyrics, with real production and it fucking flows together, go listen to that out. It's the best rap album in the last shit, three years. Shit, I think he was killing Mike nominated and that's rap, he should've been, 'cause he was nominated for half the category. He should've been nominated, he should've won. He should've won. Even if you want to give it to Jacob, a Drake? Can't even do enough for me personally to win this year. Michael's album was too great. Kill 'em, Mike, kill last year. He should've won it here. Fuck outta here. Yeah. Yeah, I don't, I don't. Yeah, I don't like, I don't like award shows, especially, especially E's. I feel like, I feel like they, I feel like, yeah, BTW have lost this luster because there's no more stars in black entertainment television. That's not that many, that's not that many. Not that many that you would turn on a TV set and wanna see. Chris Brown, Beyonce, Usher, but he ain't gonna perform. Rihanna, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Little Wayne Kanye, how you gonna give it Kanye, JZ? Like, there's none of those guys. And so if they're not going to be performing, or they're not even gonna be there, why the fuck am I watching? And that's the problem. You gotta find a way to get people who wanna watch it again. Or at least be intrigued by it. You got people saying, I even know Shib's on. (laughing) I ain't even know Shib's on. And that's kinda how I've been. I've been tuning in a lot of it for like a few years. Because it feels like it's a past time, but nowadays it's just like, I don't, I don't, the only performance I actually liked the entire fucking show was the Shabuzzi performance, the bar, the country music artist. 'Cause I actually liked that song. That song just fires a motherfucker. I like that song very much. And it got like the only performance that wasn't trying to be over the top. It was like, no, this is just how I am performing this shit. And it felt like it was something getting bored too. The BT was outside of the BT boards, trying to enforce it on you. And I think that's why I liked it so much. All right, that's point of view and random shit. Hope you guys enjoyed this. Until next time, I am brand new. Peace. [BLANK_AUDIO]
