You guys enjoyed this episode, because tonight I am doing a debate. Oh yeah. One artist, two albums. Just what happened is one of my favorite artists, and it's two of my favorite albums. So this is gonna be fun. So before I do my artist versus artist, I hadn't do another debate. And that's the thing about this. So tonight I will be doing by the bait of the one and only, Ed Sheeran and his two albums, Multiply versus Divide. Two of my favorite bodies have worked by Ed Sheeran. I love Plus, a love subtraction. Equal, it was okay, it was decent. It wasn't what I thought it would be, but it was okay. But these two albums are like, the holy grail for like, Ed Sheeran fans. Like these are like the two albums that just, you just feel like, different, and different. I saw this at Ed Sheeran, I've said this number of times, I've seen Ed Sheeran, you know, when I saw 18, you know, this video for 18, in the Lego house. So the Plus album was like, you know, the album that I was like, okay. She threw gas and it didn't, when he dropped the Multiply album it was just like, I don't know, you know, go on the iTunes and like pre-order it, pre-order it. 'Cause I saw him thinking out loud on a, what's that dude showing in London? Dude showing London, this guy's damn name, Greg Norton. That good thing. I saw him on a Greg Norton show. I was like, I gotta get this down there. The album is different. And it wasn't, like I said, thinking out loud was not, like it was, you know, on the album. It was like, a cool, like, I was like, Kio this shit, it's different. It didn't divide album. It was just like, after, you know, Multiply came out, divide came out and I was just like, there's my favorite artist, like, I'm done. Um, my first ass sharing tour was the divide tour. So I got a chance to go see him at the divide tour in a minute made here in Houston. And I want to go see him last year? Yeah, last me. I want to go see that share. That is March of May, I forgot which one. But yeah, that was really dope. You know, two of the most amazing concerts I have seen live. So, yeah. Two albums, one battle, one artist, who wins? Let's get into it, man. So, both albums got 12 songs on it. So, it could be a tie. So, and then after that, I just picked my favorite album. Um, let's get into it, man. Here we go. Ass sharing, did the beat. Let's get it. Y'all already know how to do the beat. Track versus track, one versus one, intro versus intro, and then I go all the way down. So, it's 12 songs on each album. Let's get into it, man. So, starting off, number track one off a multiply is one versus track one eraser off a divide. One is fire. It's an amazing, amazing intro. Incredible, incredible intro. Um, but I love it as your raps. It's all racist, my shit. I love it, eraser. So, eraser is number one. All right. Track two off a divide is cast two on the heel versus. I'm a mess off a multiply. I love cast all in the hill. Like, I remember when he, when he, when he dropped these two songs, he dropped two songs. Track four and cast all in the hill. I love both songs, but I'm a mess. It has grown on me more and more as I listen to that album. And I feel what I'm a mess. Track's on my brother DC, 'cause DC, er, for what the shit. He was like, yo, that song is fire. And I went back, listen to it. I'm like, yo, this shit really is good. I think he actually, he actually performed it just recently. I went to the concert. I think he even performed it. So, I was like, oh shit, he sang it. So, it was really dope. Track three. Sing off a multiply versus divide. Well, dive, I should say. Track three, dive off a divide. I thought was saying. I fuck was saying. That's my shit. Um, this is what Pharrell had the goofy ass, uh, on the you could prevent far as fire, uh, hack, like a goofy ass hack. Um, but Pharrell was killing it at this time. He was, he was, he was, fire at this time, producer-wise. And then, so, sang was the shit. And this was literally the first single off a multiply. Dope ass song. Fire ass song. As much as I love sing. And I love sing. I fuck with dive. I fuck with dive, man. All right. Track four. Shape of you. Oh, shit. Versus. Dope. (sighs) He had a gratin' on the show. He performed, sang. He performed, thinking I love. And he performed, don't. And he was actually dope that made me realize. And that's how I'm gonna be fired as a motherfucker. 'Cause it was, 'cause he was actually cursing. You know, if you actually listen to dope, he's, he's, um... He was listening to dumb. You know, he's actually cursing in that. And the other, he said, "A parent told them while you, you know, cursing in your music." And that's why he went back and kind of like, um... Took out the, well, I would say, took out the curses, but definitely censored them. Don't miss the shit. But shape of you. It's legendary. That song was fired. Like, say it for you, uh, remember, like I said, if you drop cats on the hill, you drop, you drop shape of you. And say what you just want everywhere. Um... And I thought we don't, don't miss my shit. But shit, but you just differ, bro. (laughs) Try five. Perfect. Of a divide versus Nina. Of a multiply. Perfectness of shit. It's a shit. I can't even rely. Kind of taking R. Kelly's, ever got turned back to half the time. Yeah, perfectness of shit. I love, I love this song. I love the original, love the remix for Beyonce. It's, it's amazing. But I thought with Nina, man, I think Nina's dope. It's a dope ass song, man. Try six, photograph versus go away girl. Off of the vibe. Try six, photograph is off of a multiply. I felt a go away girl. Like, the fucking violins, everything. Like, it's just an amazing song. Uh, watching him, like watching him bring the violinists on stage with him just recently at the concert. Bring the violinists on stage and her playing the violin while the stage is moving is the dope shit on the planet. Like, I would recommend if he does another tour anytime soon, go see that. Just put that dope shit on the planet. It was like so fired. But photograph is just a different animal, man. Try seven. Blood stream versus happier off of the vibe. Can't be real. For a second. Happier is my favorite song off of the vibe. Blood stream is like, what, my second, third favorite off of multiply? When I first heard, uh, happier, I was going through a lot at the time. So, of course, the help here is the shit to me. And blood stream is still my shit. I listen to blood stream probably every other day. But I just fought with happier, man. Try eight. New man off of the vibe. Versus 10 of Riggs C off of multiply. I actually fought with two of Riggs C. I ain't even going to lie. New man goes hard to do. It's a fire song. So, get a new man. Um, track nine. Hearts don't break around here off of the vibe versus runaway. Realize it. I got like two or three or four or five songs off of multiply. This is like my shit. Run away is one of them songs. I fought with runaway. It's one of my favorite songs, man. Track 10, the man off of multiply versus what do I know? I fought with what do I know? I fought with that song. I even think John Maris on it. I can't remember. But, um, you know, put the man as the shit, bro. Like dad, motherfucker. So, it's fire, bro. Track 11, thinking out loud versus how will you feel? I love how you, how will you feel? It's an amazing fucking song. It's just a thing. Fucking with thinking out loud. It's just not. I'm sorry. And a fire I love is track 12 versus supermarket flowers. I fucking love both of these songs. I love both of these songs. Oh, man. I love both of these songs. I love both of these songs. I really love both of these songs. Fuck. Holy shit. I'm going to give you some market flowers. Give you some of my flowers. A fire loves one of my favorite songs on this project too. So, let me see. Wow. It's a tie. Six checks for divide. Six checks for multiply. Mm. These are two of that share's best bodies work. And she is also one of those artists. They got like three albums plus multiply divide. Those three albums, he got a retired on those three albums. Like those three albums are like out of water. Like just greatness. Divide is such an amazing body of work. So, it's multiplied. Both albums tell a period of time where he's at. The album that I'm giving it to though tonight is an album that I feel like really captivated while I was in my life when I first heard it. More importantly, I feel like the consistency of it, the body of work. I go back and listen to this album now and be like every song I know it. From top to bottom. Under the whole album. Top to bottom. Even if they're luxe. And if they're luxe out of one of my favorite songs. You can't choose badly when you do one. So, if you ask me. It's multiply. Multiply. It's like insurance by the body of work. I know that a lot of people probably would say plus. But for me, it's multiply. I became that multiply album came out and I was just like. It's not even close. It's not even close. It's not even close. Watching this man live is a sight to be hoped. And hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully. Who I'm putting up against. By December. Hopefully he will be on it. Because I'm putting as you're in up against. Justin Timberlake. So, hopefully I go see him live too. Hopefully. So. Yeah. Um. What's the plot got it? Like I said, the next update will be artists versus artists. It'll be as sharing versus Justin Timberlake. I cannot wait for that one. But go listen to some other sharing, man.
