This week on Not Your Average Trangirls. - And I'm so glad I went to Vancouver because of my-- (laughing) - Can you imagine-- - And missed it? - Oh no. - Yeah. - I don't even want to think about it. Imagine I did this where I'm like, no. - Lucy Ace, Lucy Ace, Ace Ace Lucy Lucy Ace. It's been a crazy couple of weeks and that's all our head has been filled with. And we're here to tell you about our experiences at Ace and Lucy's World Tourists. Check it out. (bell dings) - Did you miss us? (laughing) - What's up, you guys? It's Not Your Average Trangirls. I'm not gonna stay back with another week I gave up next, 'cause listen. (laughing) It's been a month. - It's been a two months. - No. - Our last episode was at the beginning of June. So it's been a month. - But I was saying, it's been a crazy two months. - Well, of us doing things. - Well, yeah, that's true. - Anyway, that's what I was saying before I was really interrupted. - Shut up. (laughing) - It's been a crazy two months of us traveling and doing K-pop shows, and Tareko was here. - Yay! - And then me and Carolina flew to Florida for Ace. - Yes. - And then now we're getting ready to fly to K-ko to LA for K-Kon. - And AT. - And AT's is happening tomorrow. By the time you listen to this, me and Carolina will have seen AT's-- - In Seattle. - In Tacoma. - Whoo! - Yeah, it's very exciting. - It's everything all together, all at once. (laughing) - Literally. - But she still hasn't seen. - No. (laughing) - It's your girl, Kat, hello. As I said, we are seeing AT's tomorrow, so I'm very fucking excited. I also just got back from seeing Ace, so I'm also very excited to talk about that. We saw Lucy, I can't wait for her to talk about that. It's just been a very fun and great K-pop time this summer. - Yes. - And I'm ready for K-Kon, and then I'm ready for Water Bomb. And-- - Oh my God. - I don't even want to think about that. - I'm ready for it. - Like, I'm just like, I'm taking it one of them at the time. - Hello everyone, it's Tareka. I won't be seeing AT's, but that's okay, because I will be seeing NCT 127 at K-Kon, so I'm so excited, 'cause I didn't even think that was gonna be a possibility for a minute since, you know, Mr. TY is serving it up in the Navy. But, yeah, it has been, it has been a long two months. But we're back. - Yeah. - What Mark Lee said, it's been a minute, a minute. - Who's that Wimbledon, by the way? - Oh yeah, we were just there. I know J-Kon's mad. - Yeah, we were just talking about that. She was just like, I had a cat said what was it that J-Kon was like tossing the turd in his bed. He was like, he got the coalswets in his bed. No, oh my God. - And hello everybody, this is Carolina. Also very excited to talk about Lucy finally. I cannot believe that I experienced that, that we all experienced that. I saw news live. I saw that magical, just everything performance, okay? So, but yeah, but that's basically what we're gonna do this week for this episode at least. We're just gonna talk about Lucy and Ace, okay? Listen everybody, we, the moment that y'all have been waiting for literally, because we know that people are probably just like, when are they gonna talk about waiting for years? - Yeah. - Four years for this moment. And I just, I still can't believe that. - I can't believe. - Everything we manifested. Okay, so I was listening to our past like episodes looking up clips and the way we manifested exactly what we did because we literally two weeks before they dropped the tour dates in our episode, we talked about like the announcement and stuff. And you know, I'm just here, listen to the clip. - Erica, did you see that thing about Leo something? - I feel like they're the ones that are gonna bring them back. I was like, they're gonna bring Lucy. - Oh Leo presents? - Oh, I was like, who, bringing who back? But yeah, I know, 'cause I said they're gonna go on tour. So, hopefully they meet including us and not just like the nature tour. - Because if I see, yeah, Chad, do the house more together, I'll see! - Oh, it's so good. It's so good. - It's so good. (laughing) - Yes. - It's so good. - This is twice then that I'm gonna have to go to at least two shows. One so I can cry, and the second so I can have a good day. And the third because I just need to see them as much as possible. - I hope it's like a multiple city tour bus band tour. (laughing) We're getting ahead of ourselves. But see, we literally said, we said, oh yeah, we should do three shows. And then they need to do like a tour that it's like more than just the key cities, you know, in the States, and it needs to be like a bus tour. - It was, they did use buses to like drive around the USA. Like, when am I gonna get my million dollars? (laughing) - You have to actually play the lottery. Like, this is the thing. - You're right, you're right, you're right. (laughing) I keep saying I'm gonna win the lottery, but I don't go and play it. I'm not ready for the responsibility of a million dollars. (laughing) - It's okay, I can help you. (laughing) - How about we just split it? - If you put it in a high yield savings, (laughing) - Actually, great move. Anyways, but yeah, but I'm so excited that we finally got to experience Lizzie. - And it was like, bring it time. It was incredible. - So let's break it down. Let's break it down. Let's break it down. - Portland, Tareka gets here. - Oh, that's true. (laughing) - She flies at the plane, she gets here, we pick her up. - Yes. - We have a day together. - And then it's the time. We get ready and we're off to Portland. We got there, we ate at one of y'all. - We got some gumbo. - Yeah. - Oh, the gumbo was so good. - It's crazy to think that we were find gumbo in damn fucking Portland. - They're good gumbo at that. - I'm saying. - The okra was perfectly, anyway. (laughing) - It's not his food podcast, but let me tell you an order. But we get the okra, we get the gumbo, and then we're off. We go to the location, the venue. We had early access or early entry, whatever the fuck that is, because we had no game plan going into ticketing. - No, no. - Well, we had a game plan, and the game plan didn't fucking work. So we just bought whatever was there. We literally were just like, we're just gonna get regular GA, except for, you know, one of the shows. And then when we went in to get to Portland, we were like, never mind, it gave us GA with the skip the line, which good thing we did, because-- - Yes, we got a good spot. - We got a good spot. - We did. - 'Cause if not, we were gonna be in the backpack. - And that looked like, no. - Hell. - Yeah. So we had a good spot for Portland. - We had a really great spot. - And we were like nearby, and like when we were like freaking out and singing the song, it's like, but also like when they came out, I was like, "Holy shit!" - 'Cause literally, but the thing is, like y'all have seen them before at Southby. This was my first time experiencing them in the flesh, and I was just like, "Oh." - Yeah, yeah. - They're like-- - So how was that? Because like, we did see them quote, unquote at Southby, and we got to meet them, but like, they didn't get to hear a Lucy set. Like they did what they could, because the venue was so old, and it just didn't match with their equipment and stuff, so they didn't really get to put on a full show. But like, how was it kept seeing them in the flesh for the first time? - It was interesting because like, as like a K-pop girlie, I'll just put it this way. There's different, like, how the hell did I say that? So there's different vibes for each type of genre of K music, right? Like K-pop, K-pop, K-bands, right? - Yeah. - And this is the first time I've seen like a K-band, really. - Oh, yeah, like in a solo tour. - Yeah, like in a solo thing. But it's not even like Wave to Earth, but they're more like an indie band. - Exactly. - Like a K-band. - Exactly. - And so this was the first time like seeing one, so like, I didn't know the vibes. I'm the type of vibe you did, right? I didn't know the vibes. - It's not the way to how you act, how you act, how you act. Like, I didn't know the vibes, so I didn't know if I should just be like, "Oh my God!" "Oh!" Because I know if it was like 17 in front of me and 80s in front of me, that's why I would give that energy. - Oh my God! And when, like, K-hip-pop, you gotta be more like... - Yeah. - Yeah, you know? - Yeah. - So there's different ways to act, so I didn't know how to act. I didn't know how to act. And so I was just like... - Oh my God. - Basking in their glory. 'Cause I didn't wanna be like, "Woo!" - Meanwhile, then there was me. (laughing) So I was just basking in their glory, and then I saw a sign up and I was like, "Wow, finally." - Who would've thought? - Finally. - Like seven years later. - Yep. - The time has come for me to meet this man. 'Cause, you know, that's him. Loved his OSTs from back in the day, you know? - Yep, yep. - You're here. You're here, it's real. And then I saw Yechan, and then I saw One Son, and then I saw your man. - Guano! - And then we were just like, "So cute!" And like, so like, (squeaking) I know! Ah! - They just saw it all. - And it didn't for like a good 20 minutes, it just didn't feel real. Like, at first two songs, I was just like, "Wait." - This is not my playlist. - This is actually happening. - This is my playlist. - Like, Luke is really like here. I'm really seeing them for the first time. - Yep. - It was a very intense experience. It's like that one gift of the white man with the turtleneck, with the fireworks in the background. (laughing) - That's so specific. - Oh my gosh. - Like that one. It's just like, (squeaking) And they like, the way they come out too, like, I didn't know what to expect, because like, again, at South By, they just like, came out. Everybody was like, "Yay!" But like, here they had a whole little intro, there was like, music playing, it did it, did it, did it, did it, did it. I was like, "Oh, okay, yeah." - It was so intense though, like being there and waiting for them, like for the show to start. Just like, realizing like, holy shit, like it's about to happen. Like, I'm gonna see. - And we were like mingling, but in the back of my mind, I was like, "Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck." (laughing) It happened, it happened, I was looking at the time, I was like, holy fuck, the 20 minutes, oh my god, 15 minutes, oh my god, five minutes, holy shit, it's about to happen. - It's about to start! - Yeah, yeah, it was good, and we met some really cool people there, and like, got to talk to some people there, and it was really nice. And the venue in Portland was really nice. - Yes, it was. - Like, I feel like the energy too in the room was good, I just feel like, more people needed to like, scream. - But I'm just so used to like, crazy shots. - High energy. - Yeah, like high energy shots. - You're very high energy. - That's true. - I feel like we're overly high energy. - That's true. - So everyone around us. (laughing) - I was just like, minding and having a great time, and we're like, "Wow!" (laughing) - Rice bitch. - Like, there was this one person out that showed that did match our energy, and it was like, a nine year old girl. - Yes, yes. - She was like, she was the best. - She was like, yelling things at them, and her mom's like, "No, stop, be quiet." - And I was like, "No, keep going, please." - She was so cute, and they loved it. They were like, "This little girl is there." - Like, the funniest though. Like, I love them Portland, how like, I guess where we were standing, like, you could, they could just see us. - Oh yeah, 100%. - Like straight away. - I think it's also because like, so many people were crowded in the center. - Yes. - And we were very much off to the side, and there was so much space. - That's true. - That's true. - You weren't muddled, yeah, you weren't like muddled in with a bunch of people, it was just like us. - And me and Terrick are tall. - That's true. - And everybody's like, "I just love." - And we were just like, "No, no, no, no, no." - I know he saw her in little heads, like that man in the snow, yet China was loving it. - Yeti was like-- - He loved this. - And y'all don't see Lucy get on yetch on side. - 100%. - Yeah. - That energy is crazy. - He literally will stare you down and judge you if you don't scream and shout. - He's like a little jumping bean. - Literally. - He literally is. He's all over the stage, and he's telling you, he's like, "Jump, jump." And you're like, "Up me." (laughing) And he's like, "What are you doing? You need to get it together." - Yeah, he uses his bow to conduct us. - Yeah, like an orchestra and jumping, we're like-- - Let's go. It was so crazy though, seeing them there and then just interacting with the crowd from the stage, from the stage, it was just a good time. - It was really fun. - It was just a good time. - It was really fun just because I feel like, we were so excited, and we had so much build-up for the moment that we were just like-- - Holy shit. - And then every song was unexpected, so we didn't know. - Oh my god, it's this. - I remember when "News" first started, I was like, "Ah!" It was gonna be game over for me at that point, but I'm surprised, actually I'm not surprised, nobody I'm surprised. I was too excited to cry or nothing, okay? I was just in awe that I was seeing that freaking solo of "Yechan" like holy crap. - Literally, I have the video of it in my hands. - Like shaking. - I just couldn't believe listening to that. I've been waiting, 'cause again, even it sounds like they couldn't do this, so hearing this song live for the first time, I just literally couldn't stop smiling. I was just in awe of it, just so happy about it. So excited that this was happening. When he finished, I was just like, "Again!" (laughing) - Of course, another one, another one. Do it again. - Oh, that song was good. - But yeah, the energy on "Yechan" side was just so good, and it was so fun, and I just feel like Portland was a really fucking good time. It was a really great show, and I think, what I think is crazy is that the vibe of each show was so different. - Yeah! - Yeah! - It was so different. - It was so, so different. - Because Portland, like I'd never been to a show in Portland before, but it was very relaxed, and just like a fun energy, where it was just like, you know, everyone's here to fucking have a good time, we're just gonna have a good time, no need to like be extra over the top. We're just vibing, we're here. Lucy's here, that's amazing. Like Portland barely ever gets K-pop shows. - Exactly. - Everybody's just kind of like, everyone's happy to be there, everyone's happy that somebody's there, and so it was just really exciting and really fun, and yeah, after the show, we went to Voodoo Donuts. - Yes, we did, and that place right there. - It was a lot of fun, it was great, and I just, yeah, it was a great time. Portland was... - It was like a good like, get you in there, because the next day was Seattle, and that's when we had like the everything package, and like did, you know, the picture, and the day, and the that. - And I would just say at the Portland show, when they were like discussing what show to encore with, there was three of us in the corner like, do flare. - Do flare! - Do flare! - What did you just do? - Literally, do flare! - Do flare! - We were just like, flare! - And then obviously, we got ignored, but we moved. (laughs) - They said, we have a plan, I'm so sorry. - Last, not the song that we're gonna do. - No. And so yeah, Seattle Blouse, Seattle happened, and yeah, we had like the everything package, so we had like the fan sign, and the photos, and the early access, and that. - Yeah, I had that too, except for the photos, but the only difference is, I didn't know until like, the day before the show. - That's true, okay, so back story. We bought the tickets for Teragant Kudzi, and they bought the one that was like, one tier lower than everything. And I swear to you, we all thought that they were just like gonna get like a high touch, and like, what was it, and like, that's it. Like, that's it, right? But then they found out that they still had a fan sign, and they found out that day before, 'cause we're looking at the tickets to see what it included at one time they had to be there. And I was just like, oh, well, y'all got a fan sign. I remember Teragant being like, the fuck? (laughs) I was not prepared. This was like, ace part two, like, this is my favorite. When me and Teragant bought that package, and we didn't know nothing about nothing. - Nothing. - Y'all just on the front. - Not everything. We skipped the line without knowing, we just like-- (laughing) - Yup. - But yeah, but that was great. No, but yeah, but for Seattle, like, we were just like, so excited, like, to do everything, and how they did everything was like, it was very organized, but at the same time, it was like, you couldn't-- - It didn't make sense. - It didn't make sense. - Yeah. - Like, some of it just didn't make sense. Like, did we get all of our benefits? Yes, yes, we did. Was the order kind of fucked up? Yeah, yeah, it was, but like-- - Did I walk a lot? - Yes. - Yes, I went and saw my steps in a lot. We went in and out that venue, like, crazy. - And also that venue is a fucking oven. So it was hard in there. - So it was more than there. - It was so hot in there, and it's-- - One of those venues that if you're past a certain point, like, you're not seeing the stage. - You're not seeing shit. - So there was people like in the back that were not seeing the stage. - But they were still vibing, so shout out to them, 'cause I don't know, I'm kind of, I would've been bratty about it. I would've been like, "I can't even see!" Like, I'll be like, "Well, that's why I felt so bad," because I figured like from this side that we were at, would be fine, but I think like when the people like shifted, I was like, "I'm fucked, I'm too short, I can't see shit." So I had to move, and also because literally, okay, so in Portland, every time I try to see what One L was doing, or just like trying to film him, sign up and stand right in front of him, and block me, and I'm like, "What the fuck?" So then I go to Seattle, and I'm like, "Okay, perfect, I think this should be fine." And then I look up, and a big-ass speaker is literally blocking One L, where I can only see his, like his hands, and I'm like, "This is bullshit!" But I literally, for Seattle, had to be like, "I'm so sorry that I picked the spot that y'all can see in, but I can't, I'm gonna have to leave." So I moved, and I was able to just get in the center, and just, I was like, "This is the show, I gotta do it, I gotta just stare at my man." And I did. 'Cause when we came in, I was like, maybe we should go up there, and it comes like, "No, I can stay great!" And I'm just like, "Hmm, I think you forgot that you're not six-two." But I was like, "Okay, girl, if you're good." And then finally, once everybody in their damn mom gets into the venue, she goes, "I'm gonna move up here, you guys should come!" And I'm like, "Girl, how are we gonna fit in that one spot? There was one spot big enough for someone who's not six-two." And I felt so bad, but it's because I could see, but I just couldn't see guano, like literally that was it. The why I moved is because I couldn't see drummer boy. 'Cause besides that, I could see the rest of the members fine. But my favorite, I couldn't see it. I'm like, "I can't do this. I can't do this for the second time in a row. I can't." - So, yeah, so that's why, but it was great. Seattle, though, the energy was phenomenal. I feel like Seattle was my favorite show. - But we are getting ahead of ourselves because before we even entered the venue, of course we found, we somehow found our way being interviewed. - Oh my God, that's right! (laughing) - All we had to get in. - Thanks to Kat and her lovely, lovely mother for making us our dolls. - Oh my God, yeah, 'cause Kat's mom made us once on, said, voodoo dolls, they were not voodoo dolls. - They could shave dolls? - Yeah, but it was them, and we showed it to them. And they were like, "Okay, I'm getting ahead of myself again." But yeah, but outside we got interviewed, and they were like, "Oh, what do you want to say to Lucy?" And then I was just like, "I just blurted out whatever the hell I don't even remember what I said." But I said something. So you'll see at my face eventually. - This always happened, yeah, this always happened. (laughing) - We were on Australian television before, we've been on so much TV, I don't know. - We were on LA news for something. - Oh my God, we were. - Yeah, this always ends up. But anyways, yeah, the guy was super stoked that we had the little dolls, like he filmed them and stuff, but seeing them though, it was great though, because okay, for the fansign. For the fansign, sadly, we couldn't bring our albums, like we planned on, they just gave you a poster. - I will get my panorama signed, someday. Lucy, if you listen to this, please sign my panorama album, it's all a lot. - I'll ship it to Korea, just ship it back. (laughing) But yeah, but during the fansign though, it was quick, but at the same time, it wasn't. I feel like they gave us decent time, so. But then talking to them, so like Yechan was first, and Yechan looked up at me and was just like, "Oh, hey, like, nice to see you." And I was just like-- - He said that to me too, which makes me think that he really stood out in Portland, because he was like, "Oh, it's good to see you again." But then also, he recognized us from videos in the past. - Yes. - So I'm wondering if he couldn't put where he knew my face from, so he was just like, "I know you from somewhere." So I'm just gonna say, "It's nice to see you again." (laughing) - Yeah, 'cause I know like when I got to Sangeop, Sangeop was just like, "Oh, we met yesterday, didn't we?" And I was just like, I mean, I was at the show, yeah, we didn't, like, I didn't mean to agree with nothing, but I know that you saw me, I know you saw me. - Yep, 'cause I got the same reaction. He goes, "Oh, I remember you yesterday we met." And I was like, "Ah, yeah!" And I met you in Austin, he's like, "Oh, yeah!" - That's like, God. - So it was very much like that, it was very much like, it was cute though, like they gave us like, maybe like a minute or so with each member, kind of 45 seconds, maybe? - I think so. - And it wasn't like an aggressive rush either, 'cause sometimes they're just kind of like, "Key moving, key moving, key moving!" Like, when they did tell people to move along, it was like a gentle like, "Come on guys, like, you know, each person gets tired, let's go move." And I was like, "I appreciate that." - Same, 'cause that's the one thing I hate, like when you're a big event. - Yeah, and they're just like pushing you and stressing you out, like-- - That's seven. - God, Jesus. Don't even. - 'Cause that was just bad. But yeah, but it was super good. And then, at least for me, like when I went up to Guadal, I obviously started speaking of Spanish. And this man literally was just like, "Oh, how you know Spanish?" (laughing) Like nobody knows. - Like when you were Spanish. - After she literally walked up and he was like, "Gato, Lina!" - Yeah, that's right! - And I was like, now you're asking her the bitch, look at her name, what do you mean, how you know Spanish? - Yeah, sends her name like, very Hispanic, and then goes, "Oh, how do you do Spanish?" Oh, but yeah, the way he said my name, girl. - I got it in my video, he said, "Gato, Lina!" - I also got it 'cause I recorded it too. And, oh my God, that's another thing. - They loved your record, yeah. - Yeah, love that they let us record. Like, that was phenomenal. - I just held it right here at my stomach, and I just went down the line. I didn't look at it, didn't have this. - Yeah, didn't have to try to hide, or like put it into your boobs, like, they were, like it was very chill. - It was very chill, yes, I would say that. It's very chill, it was very laid back. They weren't like, fussy, they weren't rude. They're just like, "Okay, have your time, "but move your ass a lot." - Yeah, but be mindful that there's a lot of people we gotta get through. - But it was great, it was so good. Like, doing that was really cute. They were so sweet, they were like so sweet about it. And the fact that, again, they were just like, "Oh yeah, we saw you yesterday." I was like, "Oh God, damn, don't perceive me." - Don't perceive me. - I mean, perceive me, but don't tell me, don't let me know. - Exactly, right? - And also, like, I love that in the different shows. One of them would just be like, "Fuck, like, "I'm struggling in English." And he would just start speaking Spanish, and we're like, "Yeah!" - Yeah, well, someone would say something in Spanish, and then he'd be like, "Okay, this is a safe space." - This is the safe space, yeah. - So, I'ma talk in Spanish, like, 'cause, yeah, 'cause I think he did that in Portland in Seattle. - In Seattle, yeah. - Yeah. - Oh my God, in Seattle, somebody called him. - I can't. - That was cute. - And he hated everything. - He was like, "Oh." - No, he said, "Ugh, no." - It's that thing, anyways. (laughing) - Moving on, here's Wonderwall. (laughing) - He's like, "He's a me." - He said, "Nobody called me that." - He said, "You're here with your father? "That's so nice." (laughing) - But it was so good, though, talking to him and that, but yeah, but he was like, "Oh yeah, "how do you know Spanish?" And I'm like, "It's my first language." And he's like, "Oh, cool, like, where are you from?" And I was like, "Yeah." From the bigger republic or whatever. And I was just like, "Oh, telling him how great they are, "and I'm so happy that they were here." And honestly, it's moments like this that makes me realize how thankful I am to be able to communicate and know different languages, even though I only know two. (laughing) - Okay, that's more than some of us. - That's more than us. - Yeah, that's not true, that's true. - I know, like, one and a half. (laughing) - Right? And then while Sam's just like, cute, he talks in pound. - He literally does. - He does. - You're just cute as human. - He talks in like pound. - He's so large, but he's so like, "Tiny, yeah!" - That's another thing, too. Yeah, like, I didn't realize how large that man is. - Yes. - And like his extremities are very large. - Yes. - And large. - I can just tell that he's clumsy as hell. (laughing) - He's a person. (laughing) - It's hard to control all of these limbs. (laughing) - It's not easy. (laughing) - But yeah, but I'm just like, yeah, like, he just speaks in tiny, everything's in tiny. - He literally reminds me of that meme, where he's like, "Whoa, you're tall like a giraffe." At least I'm not built like a big, big, big, big. - I'm from a big, big, big! (laughing) - Literally, 'cause even when he made the voodoo dog joke, it was in tiny, he was just like, "Oh, voodoo dog." And we're like, "Oh," he goes, "Okay, bye, don't kill us." (laughing) - That's true. - Don't kill us. - Once I was scared for a second, and yes, I was just like, "Oh!" - That's me! (laughing) - 'Cause yes, I was little dog, I had a little violin. He literally, he was like, "It's me!" Like, "Holy shit, that's me." And then there's one song, "Oh my God, I'm gonna die." (laughing) He literally was just like, "Don't kill me, but yeah." But that, like, after that, you know, we just waited for Soundcheck, and... - And Soundcheck was like, "I'm still Soundcheck." - Yeah. - Like, you know, and nowadays it's just like, "Oh yeah, I go perform, I'm a couple songs, whatever." But no, they were like, they were like, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa." - One song was like, "Watch on what's having problems." - Yes, yes, he was. - I cannot fucking hear my bass, and this is an issue. - Yep, and he would always tell them to like, "Put it up, put it up." No, I can't hear it. He's like, "Can you turn this fucking speaker off, please?" No, okay, well, no, yo. Everything he said, they were like, "Can't do that, can't do that." - Oh my gosh, was it Portland, or was it, or is it Seattle, when they were like, "We're gonna take a picture now, "turn the lights on," and they're like, "We can't turn the lights on." - No, it's Portland. - It was, and they were like, "Okay." - And then we put our, I think we put the flashlights on. - Flashlights, yeah, right. - Crazy. - No, she was so funny, though. He was like, "Can you do this?" And they're like, "Nope, we can't turn that speaker off." He was like, "Can we do this over here?" And he was there like, "Nope." He's like, "Well, fuck me, isn't it?" - I'm just gonna go with the vibes, so call it a day. I hope that my training and the bass goes through. You know what's funny too, in the shows, I loved when they were doing their solo things. And then they've been freaking, one song would, sang up, would tell him, like, "Okay, one song, we're gonna do this." - So he's like, "Dobby is free." - Yes! - And he was just like, "Okay, most of you can go." And he said, "Dobby is free." (laughs) And then he said, "No, wait, come back." He said, "Dobby is not free." (laughs) - Well, I know once I'm just tired, he's like, "I gotta help all you bish." (humming) - Oh my God. But my favorite part is when song goes playing the drums and you get to excited, and they all turn around and look at him and they're like, "Slow down." (laughs) He's like, "I need to get him back on beat." He's like, "Oh, my back." He's like, "It was great seeing that interaction because Gwyneth will just be like, "Oh, yeah, he's learning this and that." Like, with the drums, like, let's see how well he does. Like, meanwhile, he's just in the back, like, "I'm ready!" - Yeah! (laughs) - Like a little kid at the place, right? - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - He's just like, "What did I do?" - "I did this yesterday, let's see if I can do it today." (laughs) It was good, but like, the vibe in Seattle was just like, that venue is so small, and like, it was like-- - And it's also a very iconic venue. - Yes. - So I felt like they felt that energy. - Yep, yep, 'cause you mentioned it. - Yeah, so I think it was just like-- - This Nirvana did one of their first shows here. - Yep, we were so excited to be there. I could tell, like, they were so hype. But also, like, the crowd was just so hype. - It was a really good crowd, yeah. - Like, Seattle was just, we were loud and-- - Seattle was on the estimated, "We're a good fuckin' time." (laughs) Okay? We're fun. - Going to shows here as well. - It was a lot of fun. - So, like, and that's my thing. That's why, like, I wish they would've gone to the south. Like, an Atlanta show would've, like, blown them away. But, you know, that's just the East Coast and me. But yeah, the vibes in Seattle were immaculate. Like, the crowd was great. Like, everybody was so nice, and the staff was nice. - Yeah, that was super nice. - One of the Leoperson's guys told, like, apparently, like, he makes up his own accents. - Every night, every night. - It was cute. - Because of this one, he had, like, a very southern droll-type thing. For Portland, he did a German accent. - Yep. - And the thing, like, nobody, like, that's an eye. They're just like, "Okay, yeah, that works." - And then, there was me, I said, "I'm on--" - That sounds fake. - Yeah, I said, "I'm on to you, sir." (laughs) - Yeah, but I love the Seattle energy. Like, they were having an amazing time. - Yeah, they had a great time. - Were just having such fun. - Me and Terica touched Wontung's base. - That's true. - We did. He also gave us water, 'cause we were dying first. - We did. - Yep. - He was also dying himself. He, like, collapsed on his knees, heavy-panting, and people had to, like, fan him. - Yeah. - He also started choking, and we're like, "Oh, my God, are you okay?" - And he was like, "Is this the wrong pipe?" I said, "Mm, you are fluent in English." 'Cause there ain't no fucking way you know that terminology. (laughs) - Your English comprehension, and, like, the jokes about voodoo dolls, like, it's very-- - Yes! - It's giving fluent. (laughs) It's like, it's giving, you're pretending to not know what the fuck you're saying. Or, like, what we're saying. After the show, then we got to do, like, the picture. - We did. - And we did the group picture, and we did have, like, our, the little dolls with us, so that's cute. And then, for the solo picture, they made us, and we're like, "Okay, you get two poses, "but why you only give me one picture?" - Yeah, yeah, yeah, give me one picture. Give me both! - And you didn't give me the picture I was ready in. - That too, like, why do you get to pick which one? - Right, on a set. - Like, if you gave me two, you better send them both files. I know you have the files in there, but also, while me and Carolina were waiting for our photo, me and Sonya, were... - Yes. - Plurting. - It was a great time. Meanwhile, I was just trying to stare at Guano, but he was in his own world. - Yeah, he, yeah. - Yep, yeah, they were throwing, like, hearts to each other. Like, I started doing the thing because how it was, it's like, we were, like, in a bottom level, and then we were going up a stare into a second, like, a little, you know, higher. So, I would, I pretended to, like, go down, like, an elevator type of thing. - It was, I'm so bad I was not there for that moment. - I mean, they weren't laughing so, like, the edge I was laughing, I'm good. I'm good. - It's fine. - Like, that's fine with me. - Very carefully, I love it. - It was, that was fine with me, but yeah, but for the picture, I just wished, like, we got both. - I know, 'cause like, my other one was cute. - I know, like, I just wanted to see both. - Give me both! - Leo presents. - I paid money. - Even though y'all were great. - Wow. - You were, but give me my second photo. - Yeah, give me my second photo. - But I know you got it in a drive somewhere. - I just love though, we did the high touch first, and then we're like, okay, bye! And then we came right back inside, like, okay, let's see. - Okay, let's see. - We're like, see you in Vancouver, and they're like, oh, okay, yeah! - Yeah! - Yeah! - Oh, they were so, like, shocked. I feel like they were shocked at people, 'cause when they saw, like, when they realized that there were people, like, all the way to the door, like, they were like, wait a second. Like, I just noticed-- - Y'all see it, they said no, and they said, oh, I'm sorry. - We're like, damn, that's crazy. - Anyways, here's the next song, right? - Yep, again, here's Wonder Woman. - And then, again, for Seattle, I was screaming, "Flare!" - Yes! - Flare! - Flare! - When they were just like, oh, what do we do for the ad-core, where it's like, "Flare!" - Flare! - Flare! - Flare! - It's like the longest wool or whatever. - And people were just looking at us, like, okay, and then some people were like, you know what, yeah! Flare! Because Carolina got her favorite song. She got snooze. Tara got her favorite song. She got flowery. - Yeah. - And then there was little me. - I didn't get my favorite song. - Right, come on. - So I was juicy-o in all night long! (laughing) Flare! Flare, juicy-o! - Give me it! - Yeah. - Flare! - It was great. And they were talking about also how they liked the city, like, how they liked where they were and everything. So it was cool, it was cool. And they were like, yeah, we're gonna go to Canada next. We're gonna take a bus. - You said this is the last show in America. - Yep, cool. - Now we're gonna take a bus to Canada. - Yep. - And the last show in America, damn! We went all out. - It was great. - Yeah, it was fun. - We went all out. I wish it was the last show of the tour. - Yeah. It was a great, like, cherry on top of the cake. - I'm saying. - It should've been Vancouver, Portland, Seattle. - Like, yeah, 'cause Vancouver, I got beach with y'all. - I got beach with y'all. - I've gone to a lot of shows in Vancouver, because it's a hop skip and a jump away from me. - Yeah. - I've gone to DPR in Vancouver. I went to Shiny in Vancouver. Like, I went to a lot, we did Super M in Vancouver. You saw Ace. - Vix, Ace. - Well, Vix, it's not a good example, but... (laughing) - Sure. - But, let's do it. I've gone to a lot of shows in Vancouver, and I don't know if it's just, like, concert etiquette, but, like, people in Canada don't really stand for concerts, but I just cannot be that bitch. I can't be that bitch, so we were on the balcony for Vancouver, 'cause we didn't have anything really special. - Yeah, we just bought the high touch. - We bought the ticket with the high touch, and, again, that was, like, we had to, 'cause there was no other available. But, like, how that venue worked is that it's seated, but it's GA seated, so you just sit wherever. So, when we got there, we were like, okay, well, we have to sit, and they were like, yeah, you have to go to the upstairs, and we were like, okay. But then, after we got up there, we saw that people, there were people in the front just standing in the pit. Like, I would have just done that instead of sitting my ass in the second floor. Anyways, that all to say is that everybody was sitting down. - And then we were standing up, and we were hyped as always. We were like, yeah, fuck it up, fuck it up. And I would also just like to ask, I mean, no, like, no Tino shade. Why did we switch up the set list for Canada? (laughs) - That's true, yeah. - Yeah, we were so confused, we were like, wait, hold on, this is not the song that comes next, what is this? - Exactly, 'cause they played from Penorama. - They did straight line, and they did only one, or one and only. - Oh, yep, yep, yep. - And so we were like, pause, time out, what the fuck? I mean, I'm glad I was there for it, but hold on, why are we switching everything up? And Canada, Vancouver specifically, has a very large Korean population, so it was very much a Korean heavy show, like most of the people there were Koreans, like, so on and so forth, and one point signing up was like, so is there, like, a rule where y'all can't stand up, or what, and we were like-- - And then one song was just like, yeah, like, are you guys, like, sick, or not feeling good? And then, Terika had to scream her ass, and she's like, she's telling y'all to stand up. - Yeah, and I wasn't trying to be rude about it, but I was just like, 'cause they weren't getting the message, like, he's like, are you sick, are you hurt? Obviously, you know that those were not, you're not sick or hurt. He was like, he was telling you to stand up, so I was like, he wants you to stand, stand up. - Like, literally not, because everybody was, it was, again, I don't know if it's just because it was like a different, like, you know-- - Side of people. - Side of people, like, it's just different culture and all that stuff, but like, holy shit. Like, when the-- - And then there was this at the balcony, we were like, hey, we were getting it down, we were screaming-- - And I know they were so confused, because they could not see it. - No, we could not. - Because I know when I was screaming Spanish-- - He was like-- - When it was just like, where the hell is that gonna-- God, is that you? Like, what is happening? - But yeah, but it was just weird in that aspect. I wish that we could have just gone downstairs to where everybody was standing. I feel like then we would have been like, way more. But also, it's just a lot of people that were there that were just like, recording and nothing. So I noticed that, like, throughout the show, more people stood up and walked to the front-- - Yeah. - To be in the pit, because it was just like, it wasn't given. I'm like, this is the last tour, but also, like, I just wanna point this, I didn't see Otto in Portland, like, they were dressed so casual, they were like, yeah, whatever. And fucking Vancouver, they were like, button down shirts, yeah. (laughing) - You can tell it was the different vibe, it was so weird. - Yeah, it was like, they knew that it was gonna be a different something. - Yeah. - So it was just so funny. And I also, like, I've said, I set this, you know, once we got out, I was like, I think the venues do have a lot of, like-- - Have a lot to do with it. - I have a lot to do with, like, the etiquette, because if I find, you know, the Seattle venue, for example, hole in the wall, like, super small, like, you're all packed together, like, that's a different, like, environment and energy. And then in Vancouver, it's like, all seated, it's like a theater, like, whatever. I'm just like, nah, I came here to see Lucy and to scream about Lucy and be having a good time with Lucy. That's it. - Yeah, and we were, like, right on the first row of the balcony, so we were, like, leaning over the balcony and we were like, "Yeah!" - Yup. - And then, you know, they were doing the set list, it's great, they do their little encore speech, which, you know, they do, and it's great. And then, it happens. - Oh my God, y'all okay, hold on, because after a while, like, the crowd did get better. - Yeah. - Like, you know, we were, they were throwing water, they were doing all the thing, like, it was great. It was towards the end of the show, they were doing their thing, where they're like, "Okay, well, we're gonna play an encore song." We gotta, they do, like, this little skit, where they're like, "Oh, what song are we gonna perform?" Blah, blah, blah, blah, and then they start talking about it. And they're like, "What do you guys think you need "during a celebration?" And I was like-- - We were like, "No, no!" I said, "No, no, wait, wait, no fucking wait." Because, let me say, when they, so they do, like, a little huddle when they do this rest. And there was me again. - Blah! - We were literally-- - Blah, just blah! - Literally. - Blah! - We were all just like-- - Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, play, flare, and other people in the venue were also screaming from them. - Yeah, they caught, they, when they heard us, they were like, "Actually, yeah, "fucking play, flare, I used to play, flare." And so, we were sitting there, and he said it, he said, "What do you guys think that you need during a celebration? "Like, fireworks?" And we were like, "Yo, we lost it." I was like, "No, fucking wait." - We lost it. - Like, the fucking way. - I was like, "Oh my God, "it's happening, it's happening!" I was freaking up, I literally got full body chill. - Yeah, yeah. - I was like, "No, fucking wait." And then it started, and I was like, (sighs) (screams) And then we all just yelled at Kentine and fucking recorded it. - Yeah, we're like, "No, no, no!" She's like, "I got it, okay, jeez." (laughs) - Which, I still need that video. - Yes, I need it. But it was hilarious though, when they were doing the huddle, we're just like, "Flare, flare, like, fur!" And then you just see them just still, but when they said that celebration thing, and then they said they gave a little smile, and I said, "Is this for me?" I don't even, I feel like I lost a lie at that moment. (laughs) - Three days of me begging for this song. - Yes. - And I'm so glad I went to Vancouver, because I'm so excited about it. (laughs) - Can you imagine? - And missed it? - Oh no, oh no. That's why, that's, no. I'm so glad we did that, because I would've, no. - No, I don't even want to think about it. Imagine I didn't swear like, "No." - Anyway, so I was fucking sobbing. Like, I was in full tears. I had an eye infection, so I was going fucking through it. I was like crying. I was like, "Holy fuck, I was saying, "Flare, I'm seeing flare!" Like, this is crazy. I'm seeing these songs, these songs. - Yo, that song, though, is like iconic. - Seeing it alive was amazing. - Yes, the way that I think about it, too, is like, that was one of the first songs, 'cause I heard "Flare" and then it was "Flare" because they played, they did it in a super band. - Yep. - So, the fact, like, knowing the backstory of, like, once I'm going, them going to the festival and, like, getting the sounds of the fireworks, like, doing all that stuff. Like, it was surreal, though. And the thing that pissed me off, though, while it, is that nobody was, like, singing along. - And then there was that, "Yo, make me smile!" - And literally, I was yelling. - And then there was another, okay, so there was another section where they do covers, everybody. - I was just thinking about this, oh my God. - Oh my God, that's right. - And setting up saying one of the greatest songs of all time, aka "Only Exception" by Paramore. - Oh my God. - And not a single fucking person, but me, Teraika and Carolina, were screaming the lyrics. - Like, no one knew the song. I'm like, "How do y'all not know this song?" - Not even the chorus, nothing. Like, "How do you not?" - And then there was me care. - Yeah! - Aw! - 'Cause, like, we were, like, singing so hard and I look kind of, like, look over and, like, 'cause I, like, look over at Kat, and then I see, like, the girls next to us are, like, looking at us, like, not, like, in the ugly way I don't want to think, but they were looking at us, like... - How do they know this song is exactly? - And I'm like, I bet you somebody there was probably just, like, I mean, they played a new song, and I'm like, "Yeller." - Oh, God, I hope not. - This part, like, Paramore, like, be for real. - People were so confused as to how we knew these lyrics, and it was like, "Girl, what?" - Come on, now, but yeah, but it was just, like, it was, like, I don't want to say it was a bad show because I didn't do it. - It was a great show. - No, Lucy did great. It was amazing. - The crowd, the lackluster. - Yeah, yeah, we're lacking, I'm so sorry. Maybe we would have been in the front front with all the rest of the other people. - We would have brought the energy because the girls behind us were having a great, they were having a time of their life. - They were. - Yes, they were. - And that's why, like, 'cause didn't you say that they were also saying, like, "Oh, well, like..." - I don't know if we should stand, yeah. - Yeah, it was cute 'cause they were like, "We should, should we stand?" They're like, "They said they're gonna stand." I was like, "Yeah, we are." (laughing) - You better believe it. - 100%, I'm gonna stand it. - 'Cause the only reason I didn't stand, I won this. - Yeah, yeah. - It's because it was, like, I felt like I was gonna fall. - That's literally the only reason it's really, like, stand. - Yeah, like, but besides that, if not, my ass would have been standing, but all in all, it was a great three shows. - It was a great time. - I just, wow. I just can't believe we manifested that. We did. Also, we did meet somebody at the show in Vancouver that listens to us, so shout out to you. - We need so much for coming up to us. - Seriously, thank you so much, because that was wild. Like, it made our whole day. We were like, "What?" - Literally. - It was all over again, it was K-Con all over again. Me and Terika sobbing, and someone's like, "I love you." (laughing) It's like, what do you mean? - I got into Lucy because of you guys, and I went to do this. - Yeah, that was crazy. - That was crazy. That was like such a full circle moment, because I've been talking and yapping about fucking Lucy for so long. Like, we all have. So the fact that we literally got people into them, because of all the yapping, that's crazy. - It's crazy. Yeah, when she said that, I was like, yeah, 'cause the initial, like, "Oh my God, I love your podcast." And we were like, "Huh?" Oh, us, we, we have podcasts. That's us. (laughing) - Thank you so much. - Yeah, I got into Lucy because of you guys, and I said, "Ah, yeah." She's like, when I heard you guys talk about their panorama album, I was like, "Whoa!" So she's been listening. - Yeah, she's been listening for a long time, so shout out to you, girl, 'cause of them. - Oh damn, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, me! (laughing) - Anyways, yeah, besides that, I just, well, I honestly give props to Lucy because they talked in some of the shows like how hard it's been to do this tour, and like, be out here basically with like a dollar and a dream, and just every day. Kat is looking at pictures of Junhy. (laughing) I feel like this is what I sound like when I talk about Changbin. - Lord. - So, thank you for putting up with me. I appreciate you guys. (laughing) - I actually wanna cry and miss him so much. - You're gonna see him in like two weeks. - I know but still. - Oh my gosh. - But yeah, but I just wanna, again, give major props to Lucy because like, they did this tour again with a dollar and a dream. They probably had maybe like three staff members with them. They, it was like a, it was a long tour. And for them to do, you know, the busing and all that stuff, all the traveling, like, I hope that they had an amazing time out here. They were able to enjoy it and see like the, basically the fruit of their hard work because people were out here for Lucy. - No, they were. We are people. - Yeah, we are out here. (laughing) - I guess I've right before the tour, I remember telling Kat I was just like, I feel like Lucy is about to blow the fuck up. And I went and bought every guanel photo card that I could find because they were $2. And now, now baby, oh my God, I found all the stuff that I needed to sell for them. And the moment I post an album that, I'm gone immediately. Right now I have like three people in Mercari asking me if I had more inside albums. And I'm like, I am so sorry. I sold my last one. Because everybody else is selling them for like $200. And I was like, nah, he's $20. Give me, I know if I'm ever in a bind up in a ramen album. - Yeah, for real. - Again, Lucy, we love you. I'm so happy you came to the States. I hope you had an amazing time. Even in the Vancouver show, like one song got so emotional talking about like the tour and how hard it's been, and just how surprised they are that like so many people actually know who they are. They know their songs like how crazy it is for them basically. So yeah, come back. Come back soon. If y'all were at the show, just let us know like what your favorite part of the shows were or whatever shows you went to. Because like we all had our moments and it was beautiful. I wanna see them again so bad. - They'll be back. - Another concert though, we went to see Ace in Florida. - I'm excited to hear about this. So I'm like yeah, 'cause I didn't get to go, but it's okay. - Yeah, so Tareko was supposed to come with us, but you know, life happens. But it's okay, 'cause we're gonna see them making cuts. - Exactly. - Yes, yes, yes. - So it's fine. But yeah, but we went to Florida to see Ace on their latest tour and let me tell you that was phenomenal, okay? Like they, we went to the Tampa and Orlando show that was home tour for me. So I was like, "Hell yeah, it was old home tour for me." - Exactly. - Yeah, she was, even though Kat was struggling, she's like the mugginess and it is, yes. - I felt like I was inhaling water. - And then me, I landed and I said, "Wow, I just turned into a sealer scout." Like it was great. (laughing) But day, oh my God, I had missed Ace, it's been like five years of the last time we saw them. It was like surreal. So last minute, Kat bought the ticket to like, meet them and do the, 'cause we only had high touch. - We did. - And it was like, I was like, you know, when we got there and I was like, you know what, it's okay. Like, my time will come again. But as it got closer, I was like, I can't, I can't. I can't be that person, I need to see them. - I need to get this picture, she said. I need to get this picture. - I need more time with them. It's been five years, it's my old group. It's my old group with my old bias, I need. - And they at least still have packages like that. - I need it. - Right. - I need it and the show was amazing. So we got there, we didn't wait long, but we got there, we went inside and I had an extra high touch ticket because I had the high touch that I bought the new package. So I was scoping out people. I was like, I'm gonna give somebody this high touch 'cause then I wanted to just fucking go to waste. And then I found a girl was her birthday and I was like, she's the one. But then they stopped doing the bracelet give out. So that was like, ah, damn, okay. - Oh yeah, 'cause the registration was over the time. - And so whatever, we go in though, the show was phenomenal. - Wow, phenomenal. - When I tell you, every time they were just like, yeah, tapa. And I was just like, it's so funny the way they said it. - Tapa. - But they were having a great time. - It was an amazing show. They had like what were like 10th row. - I think it was like seven. - Seven, something like that. - Yeah. - But it was, I had a perfect view of that. - Yeah. - We were right in the same. - 'Cause I was like, yeah, I saw y'all as like pictures or whatever. We were like for socials. And I was just like, wow, they got really good seats. - Yeah, like that. - So we were, and the stress, I love the stress and are like, it's such a pretty venue. - It was a beautiful venue, yeah. It was a great show. They were loving every second of it. It was very high energy. Even the people in the balcony, they were trying to like throw shit, like roses and stuff at them. It didn't work out. Chinese, I won't embarrass you, but your arm is weak. But, yeah, it was very, it was ace, man. They just, it was good. And it was like crazy to listen to some of these songs. I was like, damn, I haven't heard this in so long. Like, 'cause I was telling Kat, 'cause Kat's like, I've been, you know, she, that's her old group. She listens to them all the time. I listen to them maybe on a blue moon, like whatever. I love ace, but that's just how it is. So I hadn't heard like some of these songs in forever. Like, when they were just like, ♪ I don't know the sweat, sweat, sweat tonight ♪ I was like, damn. But it's crazy, 'cause when you think about it, the last time we saw them was 2019, and they had released two or three albums after that. But then it was COVID, and then they enlisted. So it was like, nothing, nothing, nothingness. And so you just had those albums. So like, in my mind, I was like, I've seen Goblin live, right? I've seen Goblin live, but no, I haven't seen Goblin live. So it was just a whole new experience, and they're just so like... - They just look so good. - They came back better than ever. We couldn't. Lord, Jesus. - They're like all buff. - And they're like, confidence in their auras or completely different. - That's what John Quinn said. He said, we're men. - Not saying like they're different, like whatever. Like, they're not to say, because they're still the fucking same people. But like, something about them now is so just like... - I feel like they, I think that they have been like more, they're just secure on who they are as a group. - Yeah. - I think that before they might've been a lot of like insecurities in the sense of, oh, like we're a smaller group or this and that. But I think now they are very much secure and like they're fandom and who likes them and like these like that. And they've seen their growth. Like now, you know, they're getting like billboard. - Bit more. - It's like that. Like, I think that now they're getting way more attraction than obviously there were like basically on hiatus. - Yeah. - But now either way, I think that just the confidence level of them and a group and just like in their fandom and everything. - And they were like really sick. - Yeah. - With the official. - Yeah, they were. - Like, John Quinn and I think June had really bad colds. Like, John Hoon wasn't feeling well. Like they, you know, they're just kind of starting the tour and their bodies are getting used to everything again because they haven't done the shit and went three, four or five years. - Yeah, exactly. - So the 19th, yeah. So they're like getting used to the travel and getting used to everything. And then, you know, Chani had the ear injury that was after the Florida shows. But I think their bodies were like working against them and you could tell that it was really frustrating for them. - Yeah. - But it didn't affect like the stages or anything, bro. Because when they were on, they were on. They were like. - And they're going like, 'cause from state to state, the weather is like drastically different. Like, just me coming from Texas. Like I was in Seattle and I'm like, why is it so cold here? And then literally I get home and it's like 108. I was like, what is this? So like having to do that and perform every night too. Like that has to be crazy. - Yeah, so it was very much like, they were just putting it all out there. Like they were completely transparent as well, which is nice and super refreshing. They were like, look, we're not feeling 100%, but we won't do this. Let's go. - Love that. - And they left it all behind on that stage 'cause they were just, I just want to say that, wow. - Kim Seyoon, the man that you are. - Yeah. - Junie is my man. Like I will die. I will die on that hill. - Yeah. - One of the finest men I've ever seen in my life. Seyoon? God, fuck. - I can't wait to see him. - The man that he is. - Yo, like he's just built like. - Different. - Oh, God. - He's built different. - Not only in like the big way, but like he's like his whole like aura. - He's just chunky. - But like he, yeah. - He's a hefty boy. - Like he's just, but he's not even that, but his whole like demeanor and everything. Like he's like this cute little bean. He's like shy and like doesn't speak. - Yeah, he doesn't. - And like he's this cute little thing. But then when he's like, wow. - Performing. - Crazy. - Yes. - Perceptions, I love him. - It's like a whole fucking different here. - It's a new person, like that persona for him like performing. - It's real. - It's insane. - And it's also like Bianco on nobody's gonna steal your man. - Like yo. - Yo. - Yo. - Bianco on is that extroverted friend that's like, here's my introvert that I adopted. - He's literally that Will Smith. - With, with the wife. - Yes. - Like every time, every time he would just be like, so wow, hasn't said anything. So I'm gonna make him talk right now. - Like he's like, please leave me alone. - I'm just here to perform. Why are you making me talk? - And then one time he made him do the bad news. Like the show was ending. And everybody was like, boo, boo. - Oh, that was gonna land on. - Yeah, yeah. - And Tony was just laughing. He's like, it's so funny cause everyone's just laughing. And then they're like, boo. - Wow. (laughing) - But then personalities literally have not changed. - No, another such fucking clown still. And it's just so funny. They're so unserious. - You can tell that they, yeah, they're grown. Like, they don't have that like, again, they're just like that confidence level is way out. Like you could see that confidence like oozing out of them. Like, it was crazy. Like Orlando, we had like second row for Orlando. And that was just wild. - That venue was a mess. - I'm so sorry. - Then that's what I mean was that it was wild. It wasn't just like, they did a good show. No, that venue was wild. Like basically it was at this place called the Plaza Live and they used to be just like a GA strictly venue. And they recently remodeled it to be like seated. And, but the way that they seated like the ADA seating was all types of fucked up. Like they don't turn on the AC, which again, - Crazy. - Like somebody, yeah, somebody I think passed out was during the show. So it was hot as hell in there. - And they literally had to be like, "Can y'all turn up the AC?" Like, "Oh, fucking die." - Yeah, like, like they were drunk. Like Tera, like Dongun was like ringing out his shirt of just sweat. - Oh my God. - It was bad. It was bad. - It was hot. - That can't be like safe for the artists too though. - No, it's not. No, it's not. - And all they have on them are these little like fans with tubes. So like, like directly at them. But it's like. - It's blowing hot air to the matter. - Yeah, exactly. Like that's not what I want right now. So, but yeah, it was crazy. - But besides that, yeah, but that show either way was like super cool. And it was so much fun. They were having such a good time. They weren't even like, what was it? Like interacting with the crowd. 'Cause even June was like, "Oh, well, we were backstage." - I heard y'all screaming at him. - Yeah, screaming at his parts. And one of the girls was just like, "Oh my God, that was me." So he was like, "Oh, that was you. That was you." - He said doing it and doing it again. - Do it again. And then he fell to his knees laughing at him. - And yeah, yeah, he did. - He was like damn, I'm uncomfortable. - Oh my God, in Tampa. When he like started doing the military stuff, this man. - I was hoping we didn't talk about it. - Listen. - It was embarrassing. - Listen, Tariqah. I just want to tell you that this man, first of all, the question was, hey, like how do you feel about, you know, you just celebrated your seventh year with, like as a, so it's a group, whatever. Whatever. - He just came back from the military. - And yeah, you just came back like, how do you feel? He was just like, "Oh my God, yes. So in the military, we learned how to do this." Like, yeah, I know that the Korean man had to go to the military, right? And we were all just like, "Uh-huh." And he's like, "Yeah." - What do you think you did? - Yeah, and then this is what we did. And then he literally did that on the ground. - That was your show? - Yes. - Whoo! - That was Tampa. And everybody, all the other members were like, what the fuck are you doing? - I just looked away, I said, "Please do not perceive me. That is not my man." - Like, I was dying, but I was just like, the other members like, they were just like, "What the hell are you doing right now?" - And then Bill and Tom was like, "I am so sorry. Sometimes he's a little..." - No, the amount of times I watched a TikTok of him doing that over and over and I said, "Ooh!" I said, "Oh my God." - And then Bill said, like, sometimes he a little crazy and somebody was like, "No, that's all the time." - And he said, "Ah!" - And he said, "No, hold on, don't say that!" - He said, "Whoa, whoa, whoa." He said, "We're gonna stop it right there." - Yeah. - "We just got back." - Right, then please. It's not all the time. - It was a good time and none of you had to say what you said. - Yeah, but for Orlando, like, they were just like, they were on one man for Orlando. They were making jokes. They were like cracking jokes with the crowd. They were like taking stuff from the crowd. - Because it's like the stage and the seats were like on top of each other. - Yes, yes they were. So, right there. And there's like this little like oval, I guess, you can say that they can like step on to be closer to the crowd. - Yeah. - And so everybody's like looking up at them, basically. - But yeah, me and June sang Clover to each other. It's the only time he looked at me the entire time. - But I mean, you love that song, so like... - True, but it's just funny in my cat. Oh my God, in Orlando, Chani saw my heart and did it back. And then I was just, yes, living my best life with that because Dunhoon was like, he was just vibing. And then there was me and Dunhoon and me and Bianco on. We were just eye contact having the time of our lives. - I had a good time with Chani. - In love, and I was like, oh my God, I love him so much. June, I was like, June, he looked your way. - Yup, I was like, it's good! - So, what's that mean? - What's that mean? - What was that? - It literally, me with woozy that one time. - Yeah, woozy, woozy, woozy, woozy, woozy, woozy. But in Tampa, I got to meet them. - Oh yeah, how are you meeting me? - Carolina also had high touch, I don't know what you are. - Oh my God, my high touch was really quick. So, like, I went through it and I was just like, hi, like I was just so excited to see them again. And when I got to, I think it was when I got to be on college so they're like, I'm so happy to see you guys again. Like, thank you for coming. And I was just like, kinda like, I just set that blurted all that out. And he was just like, oh, things! And like, it was just like, okay, but that was it. Like, it wasn't anything like crazy. - Also, at the end of the show, I found the girl that was her birthday and gave her the high touch. - For Tampa, for Tampa, you could. - Oh. - She was so excited. She was like, wait, no, my mom. And I'm like, just call your mama. - We'll talk to her. - We'll tell her, like, don't worry. She's like, oh my God, no, like, I don't want to. And I'm like, call your mom. (laughing) And tell her that you're gonna be a couple extra minutes to get outside, okay? Okay. - Aw, that's cute. - Yeah, it was her 17th birthday. - Aw. - So, she was funny. - She loved it. - She loved it. She did. Yeah, like, let me tell you, but yeah, but like for at least for me, I feel like the high touch was fairly quick, like. - Yeah, so with the my tier, you like did the high touch and then you went in and took your photo. So, this, I don't know if y'all know our history with AIDS. - Oh, yes. - Yes, Chinese bestie. - Yeah. - That's my fucking boy, my soul, a partner, my earth sign twin, okay? And so the moment I walked in, he wasn't the first person, but June was first, which fucking threw me off. - Yeah. - I, like, 'cause it's like behind a curtain. So, like, you have to stay behind a curtain until, like, the other person finishes and whatever. And June has been in the center, like, every time, but because he was sick, I guess they had him stand on the outside. So, like, he wasn't, like, up against people in the photos, but I came in and there he was. And I was like, "Oh, you're so fine." Like, literally, literally the words I came out of my mouth and he was just like, "Ah, he's a thank you." And I was like, "You're welcome." And then I saw Chinese, I said, "Bestie." And he was like, "Bestie, I'm a bestie." (laughing) And June was looking at me like, "Bitch, you good?" And I was like, "Hey." And then I said, "Hey, to Bianco and I also called him bestie." I was like, "Hey, bestie." I was like, "Hey, hey, hey." And then say, and I said, "Hey." And he just looked at me like, "Hey." (laughing) And he's like, "Hold on, this is too much for me right now." - Hey, hey, hey. - Because it was divided. - Yeah, 'cause, like, everybody I had seen, they were just kind of like, "Oh, hi, oh hi." And then there was my loud-out. "Hey, what is that?" And then, so I was next to Dong Hoon and Chani. And then they were like, "Oh, what kind of pose do you want to do?" And I'm on my Megan the Stallion shit lately. And I was like, "You know what's trending right now?" Her little, "Sta, sta, sta, sta, kita, kita." So I said, "Y'all know Megan the Stallion?" (laughing) And they all looked at me like, and then Bianco was like, "I know Megan the Stallion." And I said, "You know, like her song, "the sta, sta, with the sign?" And he was like, "Okay." And I was like, "We're gonna do that." And he was like, "Okay, okay." And I was like, "And you gotta be like cool." Like cool. (laughing) And they're like, "Okay, okay, okay." So they did it, and they didn't count for my photo, probably 'cause I was taking too long and they were like, "Get this bitch outta here." - Literally. - But they were like, "Okay, done." And I was like, "You didn't give me like a three, two, one." Or, "Okay, one, two, three, nothing." And then I got my phone and I blinked. (laughing) - It's okay though, it was still cute. It was, and then I was like, "Okay, love you guys. See you tomorrow." Or, "See you in Orlando." And they're like, "Okay, yeah." (laughing) And I was like, "Chunny, love you, okay, bye." (laughing) - It was just funny seeing the levels, 'cause also when I came in, I was just like, "Hi!" (laughing) Like, that's like the level of like, just, you know? - I love the girls with me. - I'm loud and they were very like, "Goss out." They were like, "Oh my God, hi." Like, "Oh, thank you for coming." I was like, "Oh my God!" I didn't like the staff were like, "God damn you." - Exactly, exactly. Oh my God, and when they asked them like, what should they eat? Was it in Tampa or Orlando? Tampa. They were like, "Oh, so what's like food "that we should eat in Tampa?" - They said a Pub-Sub. - And somebody, a Pub-Sub and they were like, "What?" Like, "You should've said a Pub-Sub." Maybe they'll know that better. - Okay, 'cause I was, I too was confused. I'm like, "What the hell are the Pub-Sub?" - It's like from Pub-Sub. - From Pub-ly, yeah. - Okay, but when you said Pub-ly, so it's like, "I know what a Pub-ly is." - Exactly, so that's what they should've said. - He said, "A Pub-Sub?" They're like, "The fuck?" And I just screamed, I was like, "What are we getting food?" And the bitch in front of me was just starting laughing 'cause she's, I guess she's Puerto Rican. - No, but they were eating Taco Bells. - God. - They're eating so many tacos. - It's crazy. - They should at least get good tacos. - Oh no, they got good tacos too, but they've been eating a lot of Taco Bells. Like, somebody gave Junie like $150 in Taco Bell. - What shit, that's what they see. (all laughing) - It's true, they need to not do that. They need to not do that, that's... I feel bad from whatever toilet they're in. (all laughing) - But he said to them, "My life." He must say, "Y'all gonna be blowing up the toilet?" And he said, "Okay." He said, "We're gonna stop this conversation now." (all laughing) - You didn't see that video? - No! - I had to show that video to you. It's so funny 'cause he was talking about Taco Bell. He was like, "We got back to the hotel." And we went outside and there was a Taco Bell. We were like, "Okay, we'll just go to Taco Bell." And as soon as he said it, the comments were like, "No, no, why did you do that?" He's like, "I know, I know, okay." (all laughing) - I'm experienced and I've lived it. - He was dead, it's no, but he was like saying 'cause so many people, because he posted it on bubble as well. - Yeah. - Just so many people were like, "Don't eat Taco Bell." So when he did the Instagram live, he was like, "Okay, I know, Taco Bell is fake food, it's fake food." He was like, "I know, I know, it's not real food, "it's not real Mexican food, but it's delicious." He was like, so it was good, it was June. He was like, "It was good for me." And then the fans were like, "No, don't eat it." And he was like, "Okay." And then somebody was like, "What are you gonna do?" And he was like, "Talk for a minute "about all the things he ate and how good it was." And then somebody was like, "You're gonna be blowing up the toilet." And he was like, "Okay, we're gonna have a good day." (laughing) And then he went and got real tacos and he was eating them on live and I guess they sat too long. And so they fell over. No! So he doesn't like cilantro. And so when he opened it, like they're covered in cilantro, right? 'Cause it's like genuine Mexican tacos. - Yeah. - And he was like, "Oh." (laughing) He kicked it off. And so he like picked around it, but like there's still so long there. And so he was eating it. He was like, "Ugh." (laughing) And then he went to pick it up and it like fell apart and he was like, "This is what he goes to Taco Bell." - That has to suck. - That, ugh, I love cilantro, so. - I don't particularly like it, but I'm also not gonna like, I'll just take off whatever I can. - Do you have the soap gene? - Or you just don't like it? - I don't think so. I just, I just, I've never liked it, but I don't think it tastes like soap to me. I don't remember it tasting like soap at least. But anyways, yeah, besides that, the concerts were great. It was good to go back home, at least for me. It was amazing to go back home. I got to go to the beach. - I got burnt. - Like, I was not having a great time. Like, whatever, we had fun. It was a good time. But yeah, but Ace was just great. Like, these concerts, and again, we say this all the time, but it's like everything happens all together, every time. Like, we've been waiting, chilling for months, and then all of a sudden they were like, "Every concert you're gonna go to is in June and July." Have fun. - No, literally. - And then we're like, "Okay, con. It's probably gonna be like August." - Nope, nope. - July. - So. - Water bomb, August. - Like, damn. - And I already see, like, so many tours are coming in September too. Like. - Yo. - Ooh, baby. - You get ready. November or December is gonna be crazy too. Ooh, Stray Kids is about to announce their shit for next year, I think it is. ZB1 was coming at the end of the year. - Yep. - Wow, so exciting. - Anyway. - Dream is in September. - Yes it is. - They're coming, counting that. - It's crazy, but no, it was really good to see Ace again, and I'm so excited to see them one more time, that cake con. - Yeah, so I'm so excited that they're finally going to cake con. - I'm mad that they're not performing, like, at the show, but it's also just like, you know, whatever. I'll take the cake con stage. - Exactly. - And I'll take, I know they're gonna be doing other shit. - Yeah. - Where they are, Kat will be there. - Same friend, same. - Honestly, same. - Because I want them to just be like, "Ah, I saw you!" It's like, "That's me!" - Yay! - I have to go in. - But also, I just feel like this is gonna be like the moment where they just blow up, right? - Oh, I'm so excited for that. - I need to, you know, be there. - Yeah. - Yeah. - I'm so excited for that, but yeah. Wow. Honestly, y'all, again. - Again, they're so fine though. Oh my God. - They are looking great. They're doing so great. - I think it sounded amazing. - Yeah, they did. - Like, ugh. - They got so much better. Like, wow. But I'm just thinking back, and I'm like, to this day, like, I know we just talked about like, losing and stuff, but like, I think back, and I'm like, did that really happen? Like, did that really happen? 'Cause... - With ACE, it just feels like, I don't know. So many moments just don't feel real. - With ACE, it's crazy. - Especially how the journey for us started. - Yeah, seriously. We went in, I was like, casual, like, yeah, where else go? - We liked them. Like, we were just casual. - I came out live, was. It's because our banter with them was crazy. - Yeah. - And they still have that same energy. - It's, yeah. - 'Cause you're seeing, like, when you haven't seen somebody for a while, and you know, they've been off, like, doing whatever and become different humans, and that's like, of course, it's part of growth, whatever. So you don't think that they're gonna have that same, like, vibe? - Yeah. - It's exactly the same. - It's the same thing, bro. - They're exactly the same. They're so sweet, so nice. - They are, oh, hi, love A's. They're so good. - They're so sweet. - Love them. - And I love Lucy. - I'm just very happy with the past. - Literally. - Is that what you're saying? - That's like months, like, I know, like, next week we'll be back to our regular schedule, hopefully at KCON. And then we'll be, 'cause next week I'm going to LA for '80. - '80s, that's right. - Yep. - So this weekend, this weekend, I'll be going. And then you fly back. - And then the next weekend you go back to LA. - Yeah, yeah. Why do you think, like, my boss is just like, girl, you are not leaving for the rest of the year. (laughing) Like, and I'm just like, shut up. I'm working, like, remotely, so it doesn't really matter. - Like, I'm still working. - Exactly. - Like, yeah, it's very, it's crazy. - It's been a great, like, that was a great month. Like, just, again, just seeing them, seeing all these groups that we've been waiting for so long. Like, for me, at least, like, I think back again to Lucy, and I'm like, wow, like, I wanna cry. - Lucy, yeah, but A's was like, yeah. - It was so consistent seeing them every year. It was consistent to, like, have that cut off from the pandemic, and then not even get anything before they went to the military. - Yep, yep. - Was like, what the fuck am I gonna do? And I'm like, what am I doing? What's happening? - Yeah. - But I'm glad they all went together. - At the same time, so, like, they could all be out and just focused on whatever they wanna do, you know? - And, you know, super natural, topping the billboard charlotte song, the before remixes. - Listen, they said there was something here for everybody. If you don't like this remix, try remix number three. - Why did we did it? I just think it's adorable that they were like, okay, guys, for what remix you like, and everybody was like doing all these remixes, and they were just like, why don't we just release all of them? Everybody gets what they like. - Yep, yep. - And they did it. - Listen to the version, you're like the best. - Yep. - And that was it. - And everybody's been hating on them online 'cause they're like, wow, like, chart manipulation. Talk about chart hungry, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But they literally didn't even, like, that wasn't even their intention. They were just doing it in fans. - At all, exactly. - And then the fans were like, you know what? Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, yeah. - Pretty much. - Yeah, man. - And now, beat, release that. Like, if you buy the, like, digital, like, remix albums, you can, like, enter to win a fan science, or everyone's like, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye. - That's smart. - Yep. And so everyone's buying them, and then they, look, AC's everything online, they're one of those groups. It's specifically Beyond Squad. - Yep. - And they've been seeing what's been going on. And so they posted a video of them dancing to Supernatural, next to the elevators at that hotel. - Yes. - The day after the news broke, like, we don't give a fuck. - It's so cute. - And it was great. Also, shout out to Beat, because they're gonna debut a new group, and they've been doing, like, they're on tour with A's there. - And then promo for them, getting out little, like, photo cards and everything, which I'm preserving. - Yes. - Just in case. - You right? But yeah, but they're just doing, like, a lot. That's so good. They're so cute, and, you know, they're the backup dancers and everything, so, like, they're so cute. They're so talented, just from what we saw, just, like, dance-wise. - Yeah, and they, like, have, like, a dance break during the show, and AC's just, like, beaming at them. They're just smiling, like, little crowd. - Oh, like, it's so cute. - Oh, my God. - That's why, like, I'm really hoping that there's, like, that turning point. I want that turning point for them, because Beat is, like, a really good company. - They're a pretty good company. - But yeah, but that's what we've been doing for the past month. That's why we haven't been posted consistently. And, like, you know, now, again, we will be going to see AC's. Like, well, we're seeing AC's in Seattle, and then I'll be flying to LA for them, too, but we will be also going to K-Con, so. So if we don't post consistently, just know it's because we do anything. So make sure you follow us on our social, it's all the same @nyfangirls, Instagram, TikTok. Trust me, y'all. We're very, we are workaholics at this point, and we just be posting it. - We just be posting it, whatever, but also, like, we're trying to get better. We're trying to get better at TikTok, and, like, doing content that way, 'cause, like, it's fun. - Yeah. - We also got full-time jobs, so we try it. - But we, exactly, but we also have-- - It's just time trying. - Like, we have full-time jobs that we gotta also focus on, and be gone for eight hours every day, again. - Unfortunately. - I think, unfortunately, but yeah, but thank you for anybody that obviously still listens to us, has been listening to us in the beginning. - And then anybody who's gonna be at KCON, and you see us, please, talk to us. - Yeah, let us know. Like, please do not have a shot. - You have no idea how much that makes my day. - Same, like, it makes me so happy. Like, it just makes me so happy to see that. Also, if you are going to the X&A hero show in LA-- - I'm jealous. - I'm jealous of you. I have to sell my ticket. I almost cried. - Do you ever bring them on tour, please? - Please. - Because, wow, that ticket was phenomenal. Or just have them open for stray kids, come on. - Literally! - I feel like they're going to, because the way that they had to add an extra show, and the way that, like, they just sold out, like-- - Immediately. - Yeah, so I think they're like, oh, people like us here. - Which is, like, of course we do. - Yeah, Jeremy's so stupid. - Jeremy's literally a lot. He needs to understand that most of his groups will always be famous outside of Korea first. - And then Korea will be like, hold on! Why are they, why are they looking at this group? Nah! - They're so popular. - Why are they so popular? - We bought that. - Yeah! - Give that to us. - Exactly. 'Cause, yeah, that's literally what it comes down to. - They got seven effects. - Yo, they bought that new building, so you better believe it. (laughing) They said, we bought this building, you didn't give us any money. Okay, well, we're gonna leave with our rights to everything. I missed them. (laughing) Before Carolina starts crying, we're gonna end this. (laughing) Like, we do every week with our songs of the week. The "In Hype" and album just came out like yesterday and I have been listening to "Exo" a fucking banger, a banger of a song, and I've been on my eighth bullshit because that's just who I am. I'll say Angel because, let me tell you, that live was seeing Angel live, my god. - Crazy. - Amazing. I missed the ace, I can't wait to see them again. Oh my god. (laughing) - What? - So, I'm not gonna lie, I've been on my Mac bullshit, so I haven't been-- (laughing) - I've just been listening to Meg, but for some of the kpop I have been listening to, I was hanging out with my friends recently and we just kept playing "Talk Sexy" over and over, so I'd rise "Talk Sexy" and get a guitar and I'm really gonna go on tour because I would like to see them. And also, "Dream Catcher" came back. - Yes! - You know, so it made me go back to their discography and I always, I always end up at "Chase Me". I love that song. - I love that song. - Oh, and "Pity" too. - Yes. - Also, they're gonna be in Seattle, I can't wait. - What? - I'm so excited, yeah. Just wait, y'all, like, next week we'll probably do like a full, you know, hey, this is what you missed in "Cape Up" and talk about all these new songs 'cause yes, I have a lot I wanna say about things. But for me, one of the songs I really, really wanna talk about is "Exeteri Heroes" 'cause they dropped "The Love and Fear". - Yep. - I haven't watched the video, but I heard a lot about like how it's like very like gothic and shit. - Yes it is. - So excited. - Yes, I'm very excited to go watch that, but I've been listening to that song "Love and Fear". I've also just been listening to "Exeteri Heroes" so much, mostly because I'm sad that I can't go see them right now. But "Pluto", "Enemy", "Again and Again" will again again from their new album to "Until the End of Time". I could go on and on. "The Exeteri Heroes" I know skip discography, thank you. That's what I've been listening to. - Can't wait to see them. I don't need 'cause I feel like seeing them is gonna solidify who my bias is. Like I can't pick until I see them live. - I'm feeling that though. - And then you just know. - But then I feel like I'm gonna see them live and neither of my R2 are gonna be my bias. It's gonna be somebody else. - Yeah, that's what I'm scared of too. - We'll see. - I'm just like, I love gonna, like I'm just like, come on drummer boy, but like what if it's somebody else? That's why you gotta see them live? We gotta know, we gotta know. I hate them. (laughing) But that was our podcast for the week. Thank you guys so much for listening. So whether you are crying over Lucy, if you saw them live, tell us your story. Tell us how it was. Or you saw Ace, or you're going to be seeing Ace, because they're still on tour. Still on tour.
