Today's Rapid Fire topics include:
* We hear Marcus Freeman's response to being asked how big Notre Dame's win over Navy was last Saturday and discuss.
* We hear comments from Riley Leonard about talking to previous Notre Dame quarterbacks since he's been with the Irish.
* Fill-in the blank...Leonard’s approach right now is BLANK.
* On a scale of 1 to 10...What’s your confidence Notre Dame is in the playoff if they finish 11-1.
* What’s more impressive: Jeremiyah Love and Kyren Williams each scoring touchdowns in nine straight games or Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman with home runs in five straight World Series games?
* Notre Dame women’s basketball hosts Davenport in its exhibition game tomorrow night. What’s more likely to happen...The Irish break 100 points...they win by 50...both happen or neither happen?
* Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus defended the decision to concede a 13-yard sideline pass the play before Washington’s 52-yard game-winning touchdown pass with no time on the clock. Washington was at its own 35 and move to the 48 thanks to the extra 13 yards and had :02 seconds left to snap the ball. Here’s what Eberflus said: “You’re defending touchdown there and them throwing the ball for 13 yards or 10 yards, whatever that is, doesn’t really matter. It’s always going to come down to that last play.” Eberflus’s explanation is BLANK.
* Fill-in the blank…It’s BLANK that Colts head coach Shane Steichen says they’re evaluating whether or not Anthony Richardson will start this week after taking himself out of the game after a fourth quarter run Sunday against Houston because he was winded and tired.
