Prayer for Peace of the World In today's changing world, people have to face many trials and tribulations. Aside from the ongoing epidemics and natural disasters, the political instability between regions is still the issue that many people are most concerned about. Peace, cooperation, and development are common aspirations of progressive nations around the world. But they are hampered by threats posed by fierce competition among great powers. All of these burdens put people in fear and need to seek comfort and support. And God, himself, is good and full of love. He invites us to run to him and let go of all our worries so that we can be strong enough to overcome them. Through prayer, we trust more and more and believe that we will receive an overflowing source of strength. For Assam's 29 verse 11 in IV says, "The Lord gives strength to His people. The Lord blesses His people with peace." God not only brings peace to the world, but He is also the source of peace. He knows what we need for a challenging earthly journey. He understands the thoughts we want to express on this. God will stand and lead us to the harbor of peace. God will intervene to break down the wall of hatred, jealousy, and envy so that people can live together in solid peace. Peace is a symbol of tranquility, a state of happiness, and also the dream and desire of everyone. But to have peace in the world, we must have peace of mind. To make the world more peaceful, we must first change ourselves. Sometimes we don't want to admit our shortcomings and our weaknesses. We do not want to change our view and assessment of people and the world around us, while changing ourselves has a direct impact on life and the development of society. It happens when two sides face a conflict and one of them insists on fighting and winning. There is a possibility of conflict, even war. In fact, threats of peace arise from the smallest of human actions and decisions. Consider this. If both sides were thinking for the benefit of both, there would be no disagreement. Let us all pray together. God, in the world right now, peace is always at stake. Terrorism and wars between countries and between peoples occur frequently. We are afraid because we are confronted with a plethora of situations that can result in poverty, suffering, and especially death. We would like to live in a peaceful world. We want to be children of peace. Faith with the challenging world contacts. We look forward to peaceful gestures like reconciliation and negotiation to make us feel more elite. We believe that you always listen to the pleas of those who are in pain. From those who are scared day and night in the midst of bombs. From people who are suffering because war leads to inflation. I pray for God's help and spiritual strength for all those who are suffering as a result of these tragic consequences. Lord, guide the world's leaders wisely when making decisions regarding the destiny of their country. May people of all nations appreciate God's gifts and always consciously contribute to building the justice and peace that we all see. God is the light that guides us on the path to finding lasting peace. We want to live in a world where there is genuine peace. Help us get rid of our arrogant, selfish, and jealous ways of light so that your peace may always be present in our hearts. Give us your strength and your peace so that in the midst of our trials we can look at you who is omnipotent and abundant in mercy. Amidst the unpredictable fluctuations of life, we need your guidance and protection. 1 Corinthians 1 verse 10 and IV says, "I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another and what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought." I believe that behind our desire for world peace we all want the world to be united, but when we look at the world we live in we see a divided world that threatens human life. Greed and cruelty lead people to hate and mistreat one another. We have seen people go through wars throughout history. It could be an ethic or a religious conflict. It is also possible to fight for the truth in order to reclaim legal rights. God is love because He has bestowed the gift of unity on us, but that unity can only flourish when we share God's graces with everyone around us. He always invites us to be united in our minds and thoughts as God desires. A tree can create a forest and a flower can't create a flower garden, but if many trees are combined there will be a green forest. If there are many flowers that give off the same fragrance there is bound to be a flower garden. Just as in a world or more specifically as a collective, if there are people who look down on others aspire for status and power and criticize others, unity will not exist. What does a truly united world look like? That is when people band together to overcome all difficulties despite everything. It is when everyone is aiming for the same goal and there is no division. Lord guide us to the path of unity and obedience and love through you. May we all be united as one family so that differences in skin color, race and religion are no longer barriers. God, please open our hearts to love and respect each other. John 1, verse 12, NIV says, "Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." Being a child of God is a precious gift. God's great love bestows blessings and peace on us. As a caring father, He always invites people all over the world to live in harmony in the midst of daily life. Because harmony is the beginning of a peaceful life. But why do so many people turn down the invitation to be friends God desires? Is it because they are still engrossed in the pursuit of money and unknowingly forget about the wonderful things that cannot be bought with money? Money cannot buy harmony because harmony needs to be built by the connection between people. People coexistence is essential, particularly in today's turbulent world. Looking at reality, living in harmony is not easy, but if each person knows how to accept differences in order to integrate with and compensate for one another, society will have harmony and will not be upset by conflicts and contradictions. For example, a glass of sugar lemonade will have the sour taste of the lemon and the sweetness of the sugar. In principle, lemon and sugar differ not only in shape, but also in flavor. But when we combine the two, you get a delicious lemonade. That being said, if we want to live in a peaceful world with close relationships with everyone, we need to learn to balance our words and actions. Lord, we know how much you love us. We know you are calling on people around the world to change our lives to unite with one another. God is happy to see us supporting others, pulling others out of hatred to become our friends. We extremely appreciate you when you receive opportunities to live in love and live peacefully together. Lord, we come to you asking for an understanding of the importance of harmony and achieving world peace. Open our minds and let your Holy Spirit guide us along the way. We hope that through the peace and strength you give us, we will strive to promote and maintain connections with people around us in order to build a peaceful community. So in this world, conflicts and competitions will gradually disappear and solidarity between people will be manifested. I bless your Holy Name, Lord, and I thank you for listening to my prayer.
