So what is your miracle today that you need? There's some of you who are desperate for a miracle. And the Bible says that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He's still a miracle working God. That means the era of miracles is not over. The Bible says Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. Now skeptics say the day of miracles is over, but that can't be true if Jesus hasn't changed. The same yesterday, today, and forever. Our God is a miracle working God. Today I'm asking God that you receive the miracle that will turn your life around. When things feel hopeless, they feel helpless, you just need to know that God promises to make a way. When you feel like every door has been shut, you can't see how something is going to happen in front of you, he will make a way. Because our God is a way maker. And he won't make a way through providing a miracle. He'll make a way through keeping a promise, or he'll just shine light into the darkness of your situation. You can receive a miracle. If you've got a lot of faith, a little faith, or not at all. If you're hopeful or hopeless, today can be your day for a miracle. It's not up to you, it's not a formula. It's God's power, and it's God's mercy at work. Over the past few years, I've watched God heal relationships that seem beyond repair. I've watched him heal people of cancer. When doctors said it couldn't be done, I've watched him provide financially for people, when all hope seemed to be lost. I've watched God provide for my family when we said there's just no way that this can happen. I've watched him heal. Both of my boys from back injuries, when the doctors looked at both of them and said, "It's never gonna happen." Then I watched God do it. God is still in the business of doing miracles. I want you to know that, I want you to believe it, 'cause I believe it with everything inside of me. I want you to know that today. I believe that with all of my heart. He is still a miracle worker. - So expect a miracle. God specializes in things humanly impossible. Impossible is not in his vocabulary. Jeremiah 32, 27, nothing is too hard for God. Nothing, ain't gonna overcome your addiction. Maybe you've had people say, "Well," and they give you statistics. You leave God out of the equation. With God, nothing's impossible. If I'm called to do it, if God demands that I do it, I can do it. With Christ, all things are possible, right? Mark nine, verse 23, Jesus said, "All things are possible to ill and who believes." That's a pretty inclusive statement. No matter how big your problem is, God can handle it. - Luke chapter one, verse 37 says, "For nothing will be impossible with God." Matthew chapter 19, verse 26 says, "But Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, let's say it together.' But with God, all things are possible." I love Ephesians 3.20, Paul writes, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to his power that is in work with, that is in work with inside of us." What does that mean? It just means simply, God is able. God is able. - The scripture says, "Is there anything too hard for the Lord? He spoke morals into existence. He flung stars into space. He has you in the palm of his hand. This is not the time to live worried. Afraid the God who breathed life into you is watching over you." - But here's what you need to know. God will never waste your pain. He will never waste your hurt. He will never waste your suffering and he will never waste a miracle. And here's the other thing. Regardless of how long you've been waiting on a miracle, Jesus has not forgotten about you. He is compassionate. He is loving. He is good and he's not forgotten about anyone. - When you're in a difficult situation, you convince yourself that no one can possibly understand. No one has ever faced this. You're unique. You convince yourself, "I'm all alone." So you isolate yourself from others and even from God. But Jesus knows what you're going through. It's not a shock or a surprise to Jesus. One word from Jesus changes everything. So here's my question, wall looks over or hopeless. Too far gone. It's not too far gone for Jesus. He knows where you are. He knows what you need and he has the answer. He has the answer. - And listen, some of you are waiting on God to do a miracle in your life. Listen, our Savior is still a miracle worker. He is still a promised keeper. He's not forgotten about you. (congregation applauding) (gentle music) (gentle music) (dramatic music)
