Heartfelt Conversations with God - Morning Prayer
Let's give a problem to Jesus, right now. Take that problem and just mentally place it in your hands. Maybe you can reduce it down to a phrase or two. If it matters to you, it matters to God. You're His child. So here we go. Father, you're good. We need help. Now let's lift these up. Okay, let them go. Lower your hands. You don't face that problem by yourself anymore. You're not alone with that problem. It's not just up to you. That burden's not on your shoulders. You have given that burden to the burden bearer, Jesus Christ. Something supernatural just happened. You're dead. You brought the burden to Him and you left it with Him. Every time you have a problem this week, would you do what you just did? Every time, whether great or small, would you take that problem and would you give it to Christ? Would you just say, "Father, you're good. I need help. He is a good God." If He doesn't respond as quickly and dramatically as you want, that's okay. It's up to Him now, whatever He says, that's what we want, amen? So you just leave that problem with Him. I believe that God is good, isn't it great to be a Christian? And what a great thing to think that we get to talk to God about everything and anything. What I've discovered is that there's really power in this simple prayer. The heartfelt prayer. And because you're my Father and because you're good, I can just say, "I need help." You're never without hope because you always have His help. I need help. And before I say amen, Lord, I just want to say thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you that my blessings truly do outweigh my burdens. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name, I say amen. He has heard your prayer. He loves you. And you're not in this battle alone. You're not carrying your burdens alone. He cares deeply about you. You can cast all your cares upon Him because He cares about you. He will do what is right, and He will do so in the right time and in the right way. [MUSIC PLAYING] You
