You want to talk to them every moment. You want to see them every day. You want to share both our joys and our sorrows with them. But if one day our love breaks down for any reason, we choose to leave and find solace elsewhere. You know, our relationship with God is like that. Life throws us into a whirlwind of many worries and thoughts. We are so preoccupied with the pursuit of luxury, fame, and power that we unintentionally overlook His presence in our lives. Consider this. We sometimes only turn to God only when we need Him to protect and heal our souls after our wounds and suffering. We need God even when we are happy and receiving good things. We still need God. Acts 4 verse 31 says, "After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word of God boldly, NIV." Prayer, I believe, is a way for us to bring our hearts to God. Through prayer, we listen to God. Through prayer, we can fight in Him as a son would to His Father. We will express the fears that we are experiencing. We will be liberated from our anxieties, gaining strength and peace. And when we ask for wisdom to keep us on the right path, we receive God's grace to guide us through the Holy Spirit. If we understand the significance of prayer, we will see that prayer is not in vain. Life is full of events. If we take a few moments to calm down, we will realize God's voice calling to us. Each day we encounter God through prayer. We will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in His revelations. Lord Jesus, we know You are waiting for us to come and meet You. God loves us and is always willing to listen to us. Although we sometimes forget your companionship and one way or another, You always remind us to turn to You. We are grateful that You are always ready to give us Your grace and love anytime, anywhere. Almighty God always protects us and helps us overcome all challenges. Don't let us give up on prayer, Lord. Help us to open our minds and be aware of the gifts You have given us. When we are sad, please remind us to pray. When we're happy, remind me to whisper thanks to God. Because prayer is the way that can help us calm down in all situations and have peace of mind. Lord Jesus, be with us forever. Even when we are alone with the worries of life, You also have Your own worries that every time He has a problem, God looks for solid support that is the Father. Mark 1, verse 35, NIV says, "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed." We know God found a deserted place to pray to the Father. He opened His heart to receive Father's message and plan of His love. He is our model for a life of prayer and silence. And we also need to act like God. Turn off the phone. Leave the computer screen and find as quiet a place as possible to have quiet alone time with God. Some more room corners in our house and back garden corners are the quietest. Noiseless places where we can easily meet God. In a moment of silence that is alone with God, we relax our souls. Don't think anything. Set aside all worries for the time being in order to focus on God's presence. When our mind is in a state of complete stillness, God's voice resonates in our hearts. God will and let God's voice heal our hearts. Silence helps us hear God's voice and seek happiness as a motivation to nourish our spirit. Silence helps us to recognize ourselves because when we come face-to-face with God, we don't have to be afraid because He always knows how to love us. Think about the events going on around our lives and look at nature to thank God for everything. Connect intimately with Him to recognize His voice in the midst of life's chaos. God, thank you for giving us life. Thank you for bringing good things to us. We consider ourselves fortunate to have the opportunity to know you and have you in our lives. May we be able to recognize your voice in all difficulties and trials. May our faith always be strong to accept and overcome them through the moments of silence and read God's Word. 2 Timothy 3, verses 16 through 17 says, All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training and righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good word, NIV. The Bible is the Word of God. When we look at the pages of the Bible, we see the story of a historical period with many different events. Along the way, we get to know God and His activities. Reading the Bible every day is considered a stepping stone to order closer relationship with God. The more time we spend reading and researching the Bible, the more grateful we will feel for God's love for us. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, each and every word of the Lord will penetrate deeply into our minds, awakening our laziness and our duty to God. He will enlighten and open the way for us to truly comprehend His Word. When we have difficulty with choices, read the Bible. When we go astray, reading the Bible can help us renew our minds so that we can discern God's will. We do not lose anything through connecting with God. Reading God's Word, we find strength and peace. Lord Jesus, we believe Your Word is a light that will guide us out of the dark and the devil. If we consider Bible reading an integral part of our daily lives, our relationship with you will grow closer and closer. God's Word always motivates me to love God with all my heart and my mind. We will be amazed at the divine favors that we can feel through the Bible. Thank You, Lord, for using Your Word to lead my life to a safe shore. Thank You, God, for giving me the opportunity to learn and understand Him through reading the Bible. In the midst of the complicated upheavals of the times, our faith sometimes weakens. As You grant me the ability to listen and read Your Word at all times and in all places, from home to school, from school to work. May God help me learn how to put the Bible into practice and bring the Word of God to strangers, friends and colleagues, so that everyone knows that You are with us.
