We are joined by someone who was on my earlier program, and that is the Congressman for the 9th District in Pennsylvania, Dan Muser. You literally, Congressman, just came out from a briefing with the Secret Service Director and the FBI. What can you tell us as of this point? Yeah, we just were hearing from an congressional call, which I can disclose some of the information with Director Ray, and as well as Director Cheetell, whose heads up the Secret Service. They were going through the timeline as to what occurred, much of which I think I knew and most of us knew. And then they were going into what investigations and what they found out thus far. Cheetell mentioned that there was clearly a lapse in security and truly a failure to fully and properly protect the former president, so she admitted that. They have a zero fail mission, as you'd imagine. And that was not what their result was, as we well know. And they're looking forward to cooperating with Congress and being very transparent to the American people. In fact, I'm quoting, that's what she said. The attack was classified as an assassination. Joe Biden recently had had trouble maybe stating that it was an assassination, but they've officially classified it as an attempted assassination. And Director Ray also went on to say of some of the-- what they were doing regarding searching the shooter's cell phones, his home. It performed over 200 interviews. They found explosives in his automobile, which they don't think were live could explode. And the fact that he bought ammo just a couple of days after the president announced he was going to be at the rally quite a bit of ammo. So Congressman Muser, it is confirmed that the suspect had explosives in the vehicle and in a home. I don't know about the home, but I do know in the automobile right. And they also stated that they, at this point in time, have no evidence at all that there were others involved. There's no evidence indicating others were involved. So this was a lone individual who was sick mentally, based on what the Secret Service Director just told you when other members of Congress and the FBI Director. Right. Now, you joined me, and I was so thankful for it, for my earlier program. Before we get into day three is now over the RNC tomorrow night. I should say later on tonight, belongs to Mr. Trump. You were at the actual rally when this happened. Take me through that one more time, please, Congressman. Well, sure, like I had mentioned, it really began as a typical rally. We did our pre-rally speeches. Myself, Senator candidate Dave McCormick, Representative Jim Mike Kelly. Wait a minute, Congressman. So before Mr. Trump spoke, you were actually on the same stage that he would later take? Yes. Which means that if the sniper decided to fire early, you and every other potential, every speaker could have been a potential target. Well, I guess so. You could certainly put it that way, and that is the case. And, well, when the president came out, he was great. I mean, we saw him beforehand, spent a couple of minutes with him. He does pictures, and all. He was in great spirits. He jokes around. He's just a good person to be around. And then he comes out after about seven minutes of speaking. And you know, it's interesting, Dominic. I don't know about interesting, but while you take it for what it is, he gestured to Dave McCormick. Hey, we got Dave McCormick here. Dave's Dave Dubas can be a great US senator. Dave wants to come up on the stage. And then he stopped, Dave. He said, you know what? Let's have you up a little bit later. And no more than 60 seconds later is when the firing began. And again, as we now all know, who've been paying any attention to it, fortunately, the president turned his head to look at the images that he was showing of a graph of the massive level of illegal immigration that has taken place under Biden, versus when he was in office. And the president just turned his head to look at it just as the third shot whizzed by his head and hit his ear, as we now know, within a quarter inch or less, two centimeters of taking the president's former president, likely the future president's life. So that's how close all of this was. And as I mentioned, very tragically, we lost a wonderful Pennsylvania by the name of Corey Combinatori, who lives out that out in the western side of the state. His daughter and his wife was there. Corey gave his life protecting, hovering over, shielding his daughter and his wife. And very, very sadly, he was he was sitting ahead. And I will tell you this, he was no more than if he was 20 feet behind us. That was a lot, but he was raised. He was about six feet up in the bleachers. So Congressman, does it surprise you that it has been announced, Mr. Trump is going to go to the former firefighters funeral room? Doesn't surprise me at all. That's who the president is. He could probably go and raise a million dollars somewhere or something else in that time frame. That's a good point. Yeah. But instead, President Trump knows what's important. People are important. A gentleman who's attending his rally that lost his life to come there and support him. President's going to be there to support him. Congressman, I'm only going to take a minute or two more of your time, but because we really do appreciate you leaving this FBI briefing. I know you got to get back in other things and so on. But day three is now over of the RNC. How do you feel a convention is going thus far? What is stood out to you, Congressman Musa? Yeah. Well, I'll tell you, Dominic, just this whole uniting theme of ours and our platform that we all have gotten behind. And a big tent, not just traditional voters, but reaching out to blacks, to Latinos, to union members, go ahead. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're saying it, right? Moms, people with with sorrowful stories of loss of of of of children due to the fentanyl epidemic and as well as just, you know, fabulous stories of how well people were doing economically under the Trump administration versus today. So so it's really it's really and as you said, a big tent. It's not just about uniting our party. It's about trying to unite America behind where we all need to go, not ideologically, but be focused on outcomes, not not ideology. And that's what President Trump brings to the table. He knows the pro growth initiatives. He knows how to strengthen us, our national security. He knows how to energize our energy industry. And I call Biden's policy gas backwards, you know, Pennsylvania is an energy state and he's doing his best to cripple it. So all these positive things are occurring. And I'll also just add this, when President Trump put his fist up, he had that that that strength of character, that leadership instinct to put his fist up and let everybody, you know what, we're going to fight, we're going to be okay. In fact, we're going to be better and okay. That's the spirit that we have here at this convention. Congressman Dan Muser of the ninth district of Pennsylvania. You are remarkable. It scares me that you were at the rally yourself. What could have happened to you, the impact on your family, the fact that you had to witness all of this up close, Congressman.
