And good morning, good morning, good morning, everyone. Dominic Carter here with you, the plot thickens in the presidential race. And as I stated earlier, the Supreme Court ruling is a major Trump victory. And now Democrats are showing their whole card. We are seeing in real time what Democrats were banking on. And that is to win the White House by having the courts finishing off Trump. But now there's a major wrinkle in their plan. And at the President's news conference a few hours ago, one of the questions that he faced, the President of the United States, Joe Biden. Mr. President, will you drop out of the race? A reporter shouted to Biden as he turned away from his lectern. 808489222, we are taking your calls this hour, 808489222. Trump is hailing the court decision as a big win for democracy. And Trump says it's a big win for our constitution and democracy that he's proud to be an American. He declared on truth social after the Supreme Court ruling. Now the Democrats are finding themselves behind the eight ball, if you will. So President Biden, and this has been the story all evening long, President Biden coming before reporters to declare, to declare that there should be a trial for Trump as it relates to January 6, before the election. And again, the President ignoring questions about dropping out of the race. 808489222, President Biden slamming the Supreme Court decision to grant President Donald Trump absolute immunity from prosecution for official acts during his presidency, saying voters deserve a speedy trial for his perspective election arrival. Now Biden spoke from the red carpeted hole, one of the holes at the, at the White House. And he was reading closely from a pair of teleprompters before turning to leave as reporters peppered him with questions about the debate disaster from Thursday's CNN debate. Now what Democrats were also banking on was a US District Court and DC Circuit Court of Appeals. Each court have previously rejected Trump's absolute immunity argument. So now this is kicked back to the lower courts. And the reason why this was a major victory for Trump is no matter what the lower courts may rule, all of this will not happen before election day. And so if you believe the polls and I have said to you folks consistently, Trump is headed back to the White House. So once the election happens, all of this is over, at least on the federal level, for the next four years. What do you folks think as it relates to this, and we want to hear from you 808489222. This is what President Biden had to say at the White House just a short time ago. Only four years ago, my predecessor sent a violent mob to the US Capitol to stop the peaceful transfer of power, but also with our own eyes. He sat there and watched it happen that day. Back on the police, the ransacking at the Capitol, a mob literally hunting down the House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, gallows erected to hang the Vice President of Mike Pence. I think it's fair to say it's one of the darkest days in the history of America. Now the man who sent that mob to the US Capitol is facing potential criminal conviction for what happened that day. And the American people deserve to have an answer in the courts before the upcoming election. A public has a right to know the answer about what happened on January 6th before they asked to vote again this year, now because of today's decision that is highly, highly unlikely. And so there you have it. You can almost hear the disappointment in the President's voice, 800-8489-222. Let's begin with our telephone calls this morning, Sandra in New Jersey, Sandra, what's on your mind? Oh, good morning, Dominic. Well, in contrast to what Biden said, sort of mayor or AOC and others, Donald Trump said tonight that it was a win for our Constitution and democracy. He also said he's proud to be an American. Now I want to ask you, Dominic, it looks like everything is moving so beautifully through Donald Trump. You know, this is all these trials may end up going down the tubes, but I'm concerned about July 11th. Will this be an unofficial thing where it goes to the court floor to determine if more John can still put him in jail or what, maybe if it's going to be dismissed, I'm wondering. Well, Mr. Trump, it's interesting, Sandra, that you ask that question. Mr. Trump has asked that the Manhattan hush money, if you will, to the judge, Moshean, to throw out the guilty verdict after the Supreme Court's immunity ruling. And so Trump has asked the judge, that is the judge directly, to throw out his guilty verdict in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling. And the Trump folks wrote a letter to judge Mershant. And in all likelihood, the judge is going to still go forward with sentencing Mr. Trump. But as I said before, Sandra, and this is why the same way I said, as I related to the debate, I said, folks, calm down. Take a deep breath. Let's see what happens. Let's see if CNN is biased. Let's see if it's greatly unfair to Trump. Trump ended up hitting a grand slam at the debate. We already know what happened with the Biden folks. I'm saying the exact same thing here with the sentencing. So there's a strong possibility that the judge may come back with the harsh sentence. And as I have stated, as I have stated, Sandra, the Trump lawyers, they will have another attorney on standby immediately to file an appeal as soon as the sentencing is done. And thus, it will, for the most part, put all of this on hold and it will get kicked up to hire courts. And then we'll have to see how this all plays out. Well, to answer your question, in all likelihood, Trump will still be sentenced, what, nine days from now. But it's basically going to immediately be out of the judge's hands because it's going to get kicked up to hire courts. And it could end up, this could be another one, ended up at the very top court, one way or another indirectly, somehow at the Supreme Court. So it was a big victory for Trump. This case kicked back to the lower courts. That is absolute immunity and what acts are not included. But what Trump needed to do, what his team needed to do, Sandra, was buy time to make sure that the election happens on November 5th. And that's exactly what's going to happen. What do you think or what are you hoping is going to happen? Okay. So Sandra, Sandra is gone. Let's go to Rocco in Saratoga. Good morning, Rocco. What's on your mind? Good morning, Tom. Well, I guess Biden showed that he could read a teleprompter for about five minutes and they didn't pump them up with the medication that they gave them for the debate that medication didn't work. Oh, well, right? It was too long. They gave them too much, so he was incoherent at the beginning. Now they gave him a couple of vitamin B12 shots, five minutes, no questions, no nothing. Read the teleprompter. Good to go. That's it. Okay. So he's good to go for five minutes. But the other night, they gave him too much meds of whatever he did, pumping them up with. They finally started to wear off as the debate went along and he became a little less incoherent, still incoherent at us, but less so, right? Yeah. Come on. We're not stupid. Come on. We know what they did. And now also, Biden better watch out what he wishes for because once he's out and they find out all the garbage, him and his family has pulled on this country and the Biden crime family is indicted and they indict him, all right? Ex-president gets indicted. Watch out what your wish for, Bozo Biden. So I know how you feel. What do you think is going to happen ultimately as it relates to this entire scenario? I think eventually they're going to have to throw it out because it'll be a debacle in everyone in this country that is sensible of say, this is a sham trial and we're not taking it anymore and the judge has got to go because he's another damn undertaking crook. Well, it's going to be interesting. The sentencing set for nine days from now. Thank you very much for the call, Rocco. Let's go to Benny. Benny, I believe in Harlem, New York. Good morning, Benny. What's on your mind? Good morning. How are you, Dominic? I'm well. Go right ahead, please. All right. Look, it's here January 6th that he said he had the, what do you call it? The payment thing for Pence, that was put there by the FBI and the way they got away with it, they put a sign on it called, this is an art form, which is, you know, a BS web getting away with it. Second of all, I'm so glad for the United States. And for Trump and for America and for you guys, especially because you're doing a fantastic job. Just keep it up. Well, thank you. Thank you. That's very kind of you to say. Thank you. And folks, we are taking your telephone calls, 808489222, 808489222, time for a break. I will be right back with more of your telephone calls. This is Dominic Carter. Now, from New York City to the world, it's Dominic Carter. Now, the man who sent that mob to the U.S. Capitol is facing potential criminal conviction for what happened that day. And the American people deserve to have an answer in the courts before the upcoming election. The public has the right to know the answer about what happened on January 6th before they asked to vote again this year. Now because of today's decision, that is highly, highly unlikely. Democrats are desperate and in trouble and they are exposing their hand that they were banking on the fact that the courts would take Trump out and would not be a threat with the election. And it's going just the opposite way for Democrats. But something that's interesting, historian Alan Lichtman, Lichtman, that is, excuse me, who has accurately predicted elections. Most recent elections is urging Democrats not to dump Biden, stating that nothing could be more misguided. This is what he said to Anderson Cooper on CNN. It's a huge mistake. They're not doctors. They don't know whether Biden is physically capable of carrying out a second term and I remember a lot of folks were saying the same thing about Ronald Reagan, who was 73. And age was very different then. And they said, you know, he's not capable of carrying out on the term, he won 49 states. So this is all full hardy nonsense. All right, folks, let's go back to the telephone calls. We see all of your calls coming in. Let's begin right now with Steve, Steve in Newark, New Jersey. Good morning, Steve. What's on your mind? Yeah, thank you very good. You're doing a hell of a job as always. But just think if we had a Republican Senate, Joe Biden, his brother and his son would be indicted. There is so much proof in the house of what the bank accounts and little nieces and nephews use names. That's why he's running. That's why they're forcing him to be on that stage. And he got on stage tonight with a hold of an outlook and all this. When you look at the Supreme Court, the ruling today, the ruling supports all presidents, future back presidents. This is not just from Donald Trump, but his political team tried to get all these focused charges against this man to the Supreme Court when they looked at it, they left at it. And when you look at this overall picture, why that guy is going to continue this white racist piece of garbage, why he's going to continue to carry on, he's only going to protect the next few years he's left for his kid and his brother because they are the most corrupt president, only president you probably ever meet in your life how corrupt they are, that whole family. Well, I hear you, Steve, what we're dealing with right now is the hearing now. And so for Biden, for the president to come out and say, hey, Supreme Court, this is not fair. That's really what he said. We need to know now what they're saying is really the only argument we have to keep Trump away from the White House is we were depending on the courts. Steve, thank you for the call. Let's go to, let's go to Robert in Brooklyn, New York. Good morning, Robert. What's on your mind? Good morning. Thanks for taking my call. Well, what's in my mind is the weaponization against Trump and the supporters, uh, magnet people. And I just want to point out, you know, the, the immunity is for a president and his official capacity. It doesn't apply to what Biden did before he became president and everything he did wrong. He should be held accountable to the false extent to the law. And you know, in the case of Trump, they passed legislation in New York to, to extend the, uh, the time, the dispatch of the limitations they should consider doing that to people like Biden and Hillary Clinton. And you know, Bannon, Steve Bannon, we put it through a prison on Monday and Monday. So yesterday, and Navarro, they locked him up. It's actually horrible what they did because, you know, they exerted, they exerted executive privilege. They refused to go to the congressional subpoena. And for the first time in like hundreds of years, they locked up Bannon and they locked up Navarro. And you know, the only way that this is going to end is if when Trump becomes president. I got it. I, I have to step in, Robert, because I have to toss to a break. I do apologize. More of your telephone calls when I come back. Now, from New York City to the world, it's Dominic Carter. And we are back about to return to your telephone calls. It's interesting folks. So one of the segments I do in New York is with former Congressman Anthony Wiener called the left versus the right. And with all of this turmoil, if you will, in the presidential race and can Biden survive and Biden demanding that Trump face trial before election day, how convenient, but one of the questions that Mr. Wiener and I pondered was, is there any Democrat that can cause Trump serious problems, problems and who could step in. And here's a bit of that conversation. The Democrats throw out Joe Biden or he steps back. Who's against Donald Trump? Do you think no one he's going back to the White House? I don't tell fast. You think it's tough? Who would be the one that you'd be like? All right. I'm a little worried about that one. There is no Democrat out there that I'm worried about. But about Oprah, Oprah would never, first of all, skeletons would come out. Yeah. This is a little bit of a silly conversation. You know, I think the only person who would be able to coalesce the party in any way had to be someone on the ticket. So it had to be probably Kamala Harris because she out laughing like the vice president. She outperforms, outperforms Biden among blacks, among young people. All his weaknesses Kamala Harris does better with listen to the producers of this program. And you don't have any talking points. They should just cancel the show for that week. Anthony Wiener and myself back to the telephones, Teddy and Yonkers, New York, line four. Good morning, Teddy. What's on your mind? Good morning. I took a lot of glee today and watching Steve Bannon with his beard walking to the prison. And he'll be there for the next four months. He will not get early parole. I don't believe so. It says you wanted to talk about Biden. I don't know how you just went to Steve Bannon. But go ahead. I just wanted to bring that up first. And now getting back to Biden and I concur with what I said yesterday, he should withdraw from the election. He's not capable of handling the responsibilities of this office. And I just call it on both sides and neither should Trump. He should resign and not withdraw from running the presidency of the United States. Well, so wait a minute, Teddy, I want you to repeat that so I can follow exactly what you're saying. Run that by me one more time. I don't think he is qualified with moral character. When you say he, who are you referring to, who are you referring to, Teddy, who are you referring to? Trump. Okay. Trump. Okay. So one day you say you don't like Trump. Then the next day you say you're voting for Trump. Then the next day you say you support Biden. Then the next day you say you're not supporting Biden. Teddy, which one is it? I said to you, just a minute, I am not voting for Biden. And I've been a couple of weeks ago, I said to you, I'm not going to vote. But then I thought about it and said, I live in this country. My brother was in the service. Okay. My uncle served in Germany against the Germans in World War II and won a silver star. It would be fair on my part if I didn't take part in the election process. Therefore, I am going to vote. And my vote is a reluctant vote for Trump. I want him to succeed if he does win, but I wish there was a different person instead of Trump. Okay. Now, I don't really understand why, but okay, I mean, you're entitled to your opinion. I mean, so then why not stick with Biden, then? That's a good question. The man he's not capable mentally and physically, okay, sometimes I think he drips in and out. I don't even know if he knows what day of the week it is at times, okay, because I know a friend of mine who is going through this. I think he has a form of dementia. There are 10 forms of dementia. My sister has one, okay, and I think he has an early form of some type of dementia. And once again, like the person that was on the CNN, that Biden shouldn't withdraw you and myself and other people, we're not doctors. I'm not going to evaluate him because I'm not capable of making that evaluation. I am not a doctor and neither are you, but I think he has some type of sickness, but that will have to be evaluated by medical professionals. Fair enough, fair enough, Teddy. Let's go to Jerry now in New Jersey. Good morning, Jerry. What's on your mind? Hi, Dominic, the Supreme Court, actually today, all they did is restate the obvious of what's always been the law for public officials and for government workers inside the scope of your appointment. You're okay. No, that's not that's not true. That's not true. They even Trump is acknowledging the decision. They gave him a lifeline to get to the election, Jerry. How could you say all they did was state the obvious? So here's, here's what you're going to see. I won't get into that. If you don't want to talk about that, we'll be able to live in with you. John Kim can very easily run this case in October without two charges, though. She has to get rid of the obstruction charges. And the reason for that is obvious that decision on Friday, the court made it clear that the law only applies to basically destroying evidence and they use the wrong statute. So they have to restate it in an indictment and not that time do that and I don't want to do that. There are two charges remaining unfortunately and something can make an October case. She's not going to be able to try the whole case, but she can have it going in October. And why can't she do that? She just has to look at the complaint and if those facts are sufficient in a complaint that a reasonable juror can find it beyond a reasonable doubt that he acted outside the scope of his employment, the Supreme Court is still given her the green light on that area. People do it. She's going to do it. No, that's not, that's not true, Jerry, because the moment that the lower courts decide or whatever the case may be, let's say, let's say the judge tries to go for it. Let's just say, right? You know, Trump is going to appeal immediately, which is going to put all of this on hold again. So, so that's not true. Okay. Yeah. All right, well, Jerry, thank you for the call. Let's go to Gracie in Rockland County. Good morning, Gracie. What's on your mind? Oh, good morning. I'm going to miss you tomorrow at three and 12. My goodness. What am I going to do? Well, let me let me just make this clear, Gracie, and I heard you a bit earlier today, but I won't be on at three p.m. because I'm I'm I'm still here. I'm still here in the St. Louis area of Missouri about about two hours outside of St. Louis. And so I won't be on the three o'clock show later on today, but I will be back for tonight's show because literally during the three o'clock show, I will be speaking, but go right ahead, Gracie. That's wonderful. You're sharing your your goodness with other people and it's wonderful. Okay. Can he don't be confused again when he was on with you? I know maybe you shouldn't talk about off the callers, but last night, he made a big deal about, you know, New York State, what Trump did. We could only get up 10,000 from our tax, right. So, but he said Trump caused him 6,000 that what his house is worth 10,000, his house is worth $50,000. Now, who's doing his taxes, his taxes maybe are the 10,000 plus the 6,000 is 16,000. So you could only put 10,000 on your income tax for the deduction. He's not losing 6,000. He's losing a percentage of it. What his income is a lot of people don't know what's going on. Did I make myself clear, Dominic? Yes, but I don't know. I don't know what numbers Teddy may be, maybe using I'm not exactly sure Gracie. He's not the only one that claims that that they lost substantial money after the salt deductions were passed under President Trump in a number of states, and it is what it is. But at the end of the day, I mean, what he was trying to do is when I brought up the issue of the supermarkets and the gas stations about how much better things were under Trump, he was trying to counter that argument, and that's what what came to Teddy's mind. I mean, the only thing that has me confused is that Teddy can be very passionate one day for this and very passionate the next day for that. And you never know, you know, one day he's passionate for Biden. The next day he doesn't like Biden. The day after that, he's voting for Trump. The day after that, he hates Trump and it just goes on and on and on. And so Gracie, how do you see all of this playing out before I let you go, all of what's going on as of lately in the presidential campaign? Okay. I hope I don't think Biden could win. I don't think any Democrat could win, nuisance is a nuisance, you know, the governor from California, he has so much laundry, it's unbelievable. And I think when push comes to shove, people are going to realize that Trump was good for the four years and everything they're saying are really exaggerations against him or lies about Biden came with nine percent, he fixed jobs, all that isn't true. And yesterday I left out, I only said about the gas and the food. But also what I care more is the safety of the country for my grandchildren. But I try to talk to the people out there that money, they understand when they're paying more for food. But people, we are on big trouble with what's going on with our enemies and they are our enemies. No doubt about it, no doubt about it, Gracie, and another thing as it relates to President Trump, at least we were not such an easy target around the world. Under President Trump, you knew basically mess around if you want to and see what may happen. And so, and now it's, it just feels like we're the laughing stock of the world. Gracie, thank you as always. Let's go to Jeanette in Rockland County, Jeanette, what's on your mind this morning? You don't have to be a rocket science, you don't have to be in the field, I'm a nurse. I no matter how small your knowledge is, Biden has dementia, something is wrong. That is not normal and we keep pretending as if this is something new. We saw a sign during COVID, the pandemic, as I call it, we saw a sign. It's getting worse and worse and no matter how they medicate, they may carry on. They're going to medicate him to death. One of these days we go see him fall right in front of us and the world. It's only a matter of time. We don't want that to happen. I mean, he is the president of the United States of America and we definitely don't want that to happen. But go ahead, Jeanette. Excuse me. It's going to happen. It's family wants to go. Let me tell you something. I have no sympathy for Biden. None whatsoever. These people are cruel, they're wicked and what they're doing to Donald Trump. He doesn't deserve it. Let the people decide who they want as president. I hear you. You know, I really do hear you, Jeanette, as far as the argument that you're making. But you know, I wish I wish every president well. I really do and my belief is that if they do well, it will trickle down and the country will do well. But I hear you and I completely understand your frustration. Thank you so much for the call. We have got to take a break. When we come back, we're going to go to Roger in Massachusetts, Frank and Maine, Anthony in Long Island. We will be right back. This is Dominic Carter. Now from New York City to the world, it's Dominic Carter. And we are back taking your telephone calls this morning. By the way, folks, the case in Houston, Texas, the 12 year old girl, 12 year old girl attacked allegedly by two migrants, horrible situation. Well, it looks like the two suspects will be facing the death penalty in terms of a trial for the death penalty. The forensic exams have come back that she was sexually assaulted. And once you add that element, then you can put the death penalty on the table. And as the district attorney has said, and it looks like that is what is going to happen. Back to the phones, Frank and Maine. Good morning, Frank. What's on your mind? Oh, Dominic, always a pleasure. You know, Dominic, every time I look at the news now, after the debacle of a debate that Biden and Biden did over Trump, I see that the news is now scrambling for anybody to be Trump. People put Pete Buttigieg, could Pete Buttigieg beat Trump? It's so sad that the Democratic Party is scrambling. They're looking on the rocks. It's a circle of, quote unquote, politicians who think they can beat Trump, but they know they're never will. And they know that this time around, they're all losers. It's sad to see. It's actually sad to see. I really feel sorry for the Democratic Party, but at the same time, I'm happy. I'm grinning like Biden did when Trump got those 34 convictions. And I'm glad that Biden now is mad and he looks angry. I'm glad. Good. He's getting a taste of his own medicine. Dominic, have a great night. Well, thank you for the call, Frank, calling from Maine this morning, and Democrats are behind the eight ball. But remember before all of this happened, I said Trump was headed back to the White House, and there's nothing that has changed my mind thus far. Let's go to Roger in Massachusetts. Good morning, Roger. What's on your mind? Yeah. Thanks for taking my call. Just two things. Number one, let's not forget, folks, that there's plenty of evidence that would probably exonerate Trump concerning, quote unquote, January 6. I remember John Stoneman was on the Rita Cosby Show a year or two ago, reviewing the Capitol Police filing report, and I'm telling you, let's not forget all that. You know, the second thing is you say, well, what's going to happen now with Trump in office? Unfortunately, Dominic, something I thought for quite some time is that during the last three years has been, the floodgates have been opened and there's so much damage done that there are many elements now in place that whoever's in office, if it's a Republican, could be used, would sabotage the presidency. They'll hang all the effects of the last three years. They'll hang around the neck of whoever's in a Republican who's in office for now and for a while, unfortunately. That's right. I don't tell me a little bit of what, tell me a little bit, Roger, of what you mean. I'm not exactly getting the entire point of what you're making. Well, Fred, it's going to be almost impossible to deport millions of people, for instance. I think a different approach I'll be taking for that, really. I think those of us born here, the retirement should be dropped down to 64. These people should get, these people should, we should close the borders. These people should get, I tell them to come out of shadow to get a hundred days to come out of shadows. Make yourself known. We'll start training you and those of us here will retire at 64 instead. And then you start, then we empower ice to sort out everybody, although that's when the betting will get done, and they get deported and very severe punishment for anyone who after that who's not here legitimately. I think it's, and then the other thing is all the Hamas supporters now, they will do their own summer of love and bring about havoc. And you have DAs, our employees, like Alvin Bragg will be, I just think a lot of elements leftist elements are in place to sabotage any Republican who's in office and, and but the Democrat in office, then more of what we see, we'll just keep going on. And like Trump said, he's standing between them and the American people that are coming after us, but he's standing in the way kind of thing. Fair enough. Fair enough. Thank you. Thank you, Roger. Let me squeeze in Anthony Long Island. Anthony, you got 25 seconds here. Go right ahead, please. Thank you. You get that the FBI planted bombs at the fake bombs at the DNC and the RNC on January 5th, the evening before the supposed insurrection. There were FBI agent provocateurs all over the Capitol, all over in dispersed throughout place. Wait, wait. You said planted fake bombs? Planted fake bombs? He's waving people in. Okay. Hey, Anthony, I can't hear you and I'm out of time anyway. I apologize, I'm not exactly following your point, but we can continue this discussion. Folks, Dominic Carter here with you. Have a lovely morning. (upbeat music)
