True Hauntings

Case 119: Port Arthur - Prisoner Island and no way of returning home.

Port Arthur, is a historic convict site located in Tasmania, Australia.

It was established as a penal colony for the most hardened of Britain's convicts, who were sent to Australia as a punishment for their crimes.

Port Arthur was a harsh and brutal place, where prisoners would be forced to work long hours in terrible conditions, and where escape was virtually impossible.

Written evidence of unexplained happenings at Port Arthur dates back to 1870.

Phenomena range from disembodied voices and poltergeist movement, to people being physically attacked.

In this episode we will explore the site which is one of the most haunted places in Australia.
