To me, boy, there's one there that we'd like to read out, we alluded to before the break. >> Message in from Matt saying, gents, firstly, I want to know, was this injury caused by one of the rest point come play challenges? If so, maybe chat to Huchie about some compo. >> No, it's not because I've had that before our basketball game. That's a lot of I've been doing. >> Well, I might speak to Huchie about my meniscus ten. That was definitely, we've got video footage of it when Brent shoved me through the fence. However, this is back to Matt's text going on my own experiences, Matt's own experiences. This sounds like one of two things to me, a piriformis syndrome, which I'm not really sure what that is, Brent, or a disc issue in the back. Brent, is there any sort of tingling or numbness down your leg or in the foot? That's what I'm putting my money on. >> No, it's nothing like that, Matt. >> TP would know about spinal issues because he had a bulging in his neck. >> You did too. >> I would do this. >> Remember that? >> Yes. >> Tony Armstrong. >> That was very funny. >> Thanks, Matt. Yeah, I don't think it's any of those though. I don't have any tingling or anything like that. >> No, it's nothing that serious. It's called having a tight hamstring, Matt. We've got to the bottom of it in the break. >> It gets me in the car, like when Hamish and I travel to Launcest, we had to stop at the Campbell town so I could go and get something at the shop, but also to stretch my leg. >> What about pain management-wise, out of ten, where's it sit? >> Right, now it's fine. That's when I'm in the car for a long period. >> Ten being changed to ten straight away. >> Ten? Oh my God. So we're going to have to amputate his leg. He's in ten. >> It goes from five. >> Ten is like excruciating. Your leg has snapped in half. >> We should have to zero. >> To zero. >> I was. >> Me flicking you. >> Launcest in the other day. >> Give us a number. >> I just did. >> At its worst, where is it? >> I just hid. >> I just hid. >> Anyway, let's talk about it. >> You're a brave to be here. >> Cricket time, Tim. It's a sports update on the Cricket World Cup. Thanks to United Forklifts and Access Solutions, nothing beats a cat forklift only from United Forklifts. Australia starts the super eight stage of its T20 World Cup campaign against Bangladesh. This morning at Sarvivian Richard Stadium, Mitch Marsh has been cleared to bowl if required he injured his right hammy during the IPL and has been rehabilitating it during the World Cup. How do you like our chances, son? >> Oh, we like them this morning, don't we? >> I think so. >> We beat Bangladesh. >> I would have thought so. >> When the toss bowl knock them over, have an early day. But they will throw a lot of spin out of sprint. I think all the teams we're going to come across in the super eight stage have good spin stock. So it's going to be a bit of a challenge for us, but I heard Tim David speak yesterday say they've been preparing for this. Not only since they've been in the West Indies, but the individuals have been preparing for a lot of spin when they're in India, India for the IPL, even guys like Matthew Wade who wasn't playing, they were given that sort of feedback that, hey, we're going to get smashed with spin at some stage in this tournament. We need to be ready. So all guys have been working extremely hard, I'm told, on their play of spin. So expect us to combat it quite well, but I would suggest that's what we're going to see in the super eight, we've got Bangladesh, we've got Afghanistan, India, and we've got India. So I would expect that we are going to be facing up to 15 overs of spin per game potentially. >> I'm going to ask you this question, hopefully doesn't open a can of words, Tim, but did England's performance against the windies yesterday reinforce Brent, are we sitting there watching yesterday, and I thought, missed opportunity. >> Careful. >> Well, how did it have presented itself, Brent, as we spoke about, but it did. And they got through, and they look really good, and one of their players who hasn't been in great form, played really well yesterday was Johnny Bearstone. So they're building momentum that in stark rate, they had a washed out game. So they haven't played a lot of cricket, but we've spoken a lot about the talent and the quality and the match winners they've got in that team. >> Yep. >> And again, I think some teams would be looking over their shoulder at the moment, God's nice. It would be nice if they weren't there. And I think sometimes even sort of subconsciously teams go, oh, they're all that close to not being there, and now they're there. And they're a big threat. And mentally that can have a little bit of an effect on you and the flip side of England, they were that close to being eliminated, not getting through. So now the shackles are off, they've got nothing to lose, and they're a high, high quality team. I did think, oh no. >> Imagine if they go on and win it. >> They could. They could absolutely win it. And it'd be there a terrific side. They are a very, very good side. Wouldn't surprise me at all. >> Yep. >> Mm. >> But they'll have to beat us first, Brenna. >> They will. >> And that's no mean feat. >> No. >> So what do you do this morning? You like watching things on your own, these big games, do you sit at home on your own and tune in? >> What's it look like? >> I'll be in and out I think today. >> Okay. >> I have it on the telly, and I'll just swap in and out from the, I'd say gardening. But I think I've actually elevated myself, I'm nor a landscaper these days. I was a gardener, I've now promoted myself to landscaper levels. >> Texting here from Matt, I agree with Tim, sounds like the only option is to take the leg off or get moving, stretching, and start in the gym. >> Who would have thought, Matt, thank you, no need to poke the bear. >> Who would have thought, bit of movement, bit of stretching, bit of health, bit of self-care, Brenna. >> United forklifts end of financial year sale is now on secure a cat forklift for only $27,990 plus GST. >> And don't forget, Brenna, Australia versus Bangladesh 1030 this morning, you can get it on Amazon Prime. >> Amazon Prime, the mighty Amazon Prime. >> Sensational Prime. >> Absolutely it is. We've got two $100 KFC vouchers to give away to our contributor of the day. Now Hamish, is that two separate vouchers for two people or is it two for the same person? They get $200 for KFC, two separate ones. So if you'd like to win $100 to spend at KFC, then it'll get you a lot of tucker as I can attest to from a couple of nights ago. >> I wonder if Matt needs KFC. >> Do you like KFC, Matt? Let us know. 0437 55535 or we're taking your calls this morning to 1342 1533. >> Hey, what about our man we found out in the break? >> The kind and consider its soul that sits in the corner. >> I knew this. >> Well, I knew they already knew this. >> But you didn't know this because you left before the cleanup finished, but there was a lot of food left. >> Yes. >> Well, I'll say a lot. They brought a lot in. You ate bulk food. What was left came and took home for his father to have some dinner, which was lovely, but even nicer, he stopped and gave the rest to some homeless guy. >> I'm not surprised, Ian. >> What an ambassador for SCN breakfast, this man is in the corner. >> I tell you what, Monday, I think you've now come live on the show with us full time. I've been saying it all along, Brian, what a lovely man he is. >> Absolutely. >> And you could take a leaf out of his book. >> Strange individual. >> We're going to get off to our final break of the hour here on SCN, Tassie Breakfast. We are powered by Kubota, take on any job with Kubota's range of tractors, mowers and utility vehicles. As I said, if you'd like to win 100 bucks to spend at KFC, get us on the Hogwarts Open on Hogwarts results for you, 0437 55535 or call us 1342 1533. (upbeat pop music)
