Coming off a throttling of the Yankees, 17-5, on Thursday afternoon, the Orioles were riding high and ready to take on the struggling Astros with their young stud, Grayson Rodriguez, taking the bump. But that's why they play games, as Grayson was shelled for 7 runs in 5 innings and the Orioles found themselves trailing 14-3 entering the 7th. A strong offensive surge made the game interesting, but it was too little, too late as the O's lost, 14-11 in a game that magnified the team's need for another legitimate start and possibly two strong bullpen pieces.
