It's like '98. - We're in your Biden recently. - Yeah, were you, yeah. - Yeah, are you patients? - Yeah, wait, which one of them has COVID? I thought it was Trump who has COVID. - No, it's, it's old Joe. - Oh no. - It's old Joe. - Oh no. - I mean, look at that. - It's old Joe. - So, we call him. - So we're recording this on Thursday the 18th, just so you know, it's something-- - I think Trump is literally on stage right now with Kid Rock and Ted Nugent accepting the Republican arm. - And the Hulkster, right? - Oh yeah, and the Hulkster, I did see that, yeah. - Yeah, the Hulkster. - Yeah. - You know, who doesn't have COVID, brother? - Yeah. - So, the reason I say the date and the day we're recording this is if something happens in the next couple of days. You know why we're talking about it the way we are. - Like, 'cause like I was saying, they can game the first couple innings in the All-Star game. 1998 in Boston, Pedro, by far the best pitcher in the world at that point. Who did he face one? 'Cause it was like, he struck out the first three and it was so sudden Maguire. I don't remember who he struck out first. It was like someone lame, like Craig Bigio or something. But that's when it's like exciting. At the end of the game, middle of the game, it's like whatever, but. - Well, this one had, you know, Otani hits a homerun, you know, exactly what they wanted. Duran hits a homerun. But then yeah, the last like three-ish innings, four innings were, but I mean, we said before, this is of what's left, this is by far, this is the best All-Star's game that's out there is baseball. 'Cause I didn't think. - It's not a hockey bar, it's not a hockey bar to clear, but it isn't, it wasn't bad. It wasn't bad. - How many All-Star games are there now? I lost my train time. - No, there's football. I mean, if you count football-- - No, the football doesn't count anymore. - It's the NBA All-Star game is all it's up again. And that is so-- - Trash. - That used to be the best. And now it's just no diving. - What sucks about the NBA All-Star game, and I won't spend time on this 'cause this is rerun from February, is post COVID, they had two really good, or even before COVID. 'Cause right before COVID, they did the Elam ending, and everyone played really hard 'cause Kobe had just died. And then they did the whole like international player with Elam ending versus Americans. And it was really good for like two or three years. And then the NBA players associate was like, association was like, we don't need to expend the energy. So let's just go back to trash. And last couple of years, they've been back to trash. - Yep, by the way. - Which is fine, which is fine. - Booble does mention in the chat, Pedro struck out five. - Five in a row. - Larry Walker, Craig Bezio, Barry Larkin, Sammy Sosa, and Mark Maguire. - Barry Lakin. - Ew, Barry Larkin. - Barry Larkin. - Oh, hey, Larry Walker, MBE key though. I mean, that's- - Rewach L. - Yeah. - That, but that, you don't see that. You don't see those, you guys throw more than ending anymore. - No, that doesn't happen. - No, no, no. And I understand why, you know. Though, I mean, I kind of almost don't, because Paul Skins is gonna need Tommy John at some point. - Oh, definitely. - Does it really matter if it happened on Monday, or, well, I guess Tuesday, or if in two months from now, or in a year from now, 'cause the pirates aren't doing shit anyway. - Well, I think you might already had one in college. - Did you already have one? - I think, well, I assume almost any, you're throwing a hundred coming in. I assume you've had TJ in the last three years before you have made the show. - By the way, did you guys see that video I posted in the Discord of that safety from Texas or whatever, who might be going to Oregon? - And he's also a baseball player. He was throwing 94 as a lefty in high school. - Yes. - That shit's not fair. That's not fair. - Lefty's aren't supposed to be able to throw that fast. - That's way too fast. - Well, the current AL Si Young favorite, Derek Scooble, the Tigers pitcher, he is a lefty, he throws like, "Hundie." - Crazy. - That's a fake person. - I'd say there's enough. He is the one that's like-- - That's the A's. - Yeah. - A Mason Miller? - No, no. - Mason Miller? - He's a closer though, yeah. - Yeah, yeah, but he almost touched 104 in the all-star game. - He throws-- - He throws-- - He throws absolutely-- - He throws 3.6. - By the way, last Oakland A's all-star. And he is a fucking beast. He really is. Like, he's the-- - That's crazy. - He's the only thing I actually stop and look at online when the A's post stuff, because, you know, what's the point? But-- - That's like-- - Sometimes I wonder about like college pitchers, like a sophomore or a junior ad. You know, a big school, say Florida, whatever. They're just like, "Man, I got a 2.9 ERA with metal bats, "but I top out at 95. "I can't be drafted. "It's-- no, it's gonna touch me." - Top out at AA. - It's crazy. - Yeah. - That's why it's crazy. - If you see, there's a new kind of road you take to the pros now. It's you get Tommy John early. So then you come back, your arm's great. You're throwing 100, and then it all is about if you could avoid Tommy John before that first contract. - That's what it is. No, it's literally like 45%. I think I saw this, like 45% of Tommy John surgeries are like before the age of 17 now, which is crazy. But that's exactly what you're saying, Ski. It's like, get the TJ out of the way, and then, like, develop beyond that, and you're fine. - Can I just-- - That's like a-- like a deep, like, deeper, like, socio-economical question. - We're going-- we're going philosophical. - No, like, how expensive is Tommy John surgery for your average sophomore in high school? - First of all-- - 'Cause my kids have been to sloke 'em for a broken, like a shattered wrist and elbow. And that's a sports play. And cheap with insurance, like, you know what I mean? - As-- - How is this normal? - As someone who is, like, well-versed in how insurance works, I won't say how, but insurance will only cover things if it's medically necessary. So unless you have an injury that is forcing the surgery to happen and a medical professional says you have to have this surgery or you will not be healthy moving forward, they will not pay for that insurance. They will not, they will deny it. You'll have to pay everything out of pocket. So, like, in an elective Tommy John surgery, that's, like, 40K at least, probably, right? - I don't think it's that long of a-- All they doin' is goin' and fixing up a little tendon in your elbow. It's not, you know, it's not like the old, like, micro-fracture surgery. You remember, how much do you think that cost, like, Amari Stott, Amiron, Grant Hill? Like, a million dollars to do the, like, original micro-fracture? - Micro-fracture? I know, I know. - 'Cause that surgery took, like, 12 hours long. I guarantee they have TJ down to 30 minutes. That's how long it takes. - I do love the most popular answer for how much does Tommy John's surgery cost without health insurance? Very, it narrows it down quite a bit. Between 15,000 and 50,000. Oh, okay. - If the answer is, if you have to ask, you can't afford it. - Yeah. - Yep. By the way, 15 also a lot. Just putting that out there. - That's nominal for a surgery. I assume anesthesiologist costs 10 grand just right there. - That too. You would also have to pay those separate charges, uh-huh. - Yep. - Can't wait for another 30 years when I start getting this shit on the regular. - Yeah. - It can be great. It's gonna be awesome. - It's gonna be fantastic. - Yep. - But if you get that at 17, and then you make that first contract, well you're fine, you're making $250, $300 million. 'Cause that's a problem, you know, 'cause the MLB trade deadline's coming up right now. And the Tigers are out of it. So the big talk has been like, "Oh, who's gonna try to get Turk scuba, right?" The problem is now it's like, "All right, you're gonna give up three high prospects for a guy and hope he doesn't need Tommy John in the next three years? 'Cause I don't know if you guys are with me where I just assume if you're throwing 100 miles an hour, and if you have that little window where you haven't had Tommy John in the last three years, you're due in the next couple years. - He's 27, too. He's older than I thought. I thought he was like 23. Oh yeah, he's gonna keep going. - You're gonna have, no, it's not even a risk anymore. You just have to assume that anybody who throws fast is going to need TJ at some point, yeah. By the way, we mentioned like the age thing. I am 42 now, which means I'm three years away from colonoscopy. That's wild. That's wild to think about, guys. It's wild. - I got five years at least, so. - Yeah, congratulations. - It's been pretty good. - Must be nice. - It's been pretty good. - I need to schedule 'em for fun. - Yeah, I was gonna say, who knows if I'd enjoy it? All right, sure you're done. - You sure you don't need to look a little more? - That might be a polypilinal deeper. - I think you should look again. Yeah. - I don't know, I don't know what I would be looking less forward to is the actual procedure for the just shitting your brains out for like 24 hours leading up to it. - It's leading up to it. - Sounds like, yeah, it just sounds worse. It sounds just miserable. - Yeah. - Well, wait a minute. What are you talking about? - Oh, you give you like a serum where you just clear everything out for like a full day and you just. - Can't eat anything up. Yeah, so pretty much you just probably shit out 15 pounds of whatever's left inside of you before it. Yeah. - How was that become a weight loss drug? - Yeah, by the way, that sounds kind of good too. If I'm being honest, it's like a nice cleanse. - Is that just a, is that a colonic? Are they gonna show a two up your ass and just flush your out? - Man, remember when coffee, coffee ground, the colonic's worth saying? Oh, coffee and of us, man. Yeah. - Hey, should we do like a podcast thing where we all just get colonics and just go into a facility? - You wanna know what? - Like let's get clear. Let's get cleaned up, guys. - That's a, if you have a million followers on YouTube kind of conversation. - Yeah, Mr. Beast, we're not there. Yeah, we're not there. - You will not believe the amount of stuff that came out of my colon. (laughing) I donated it all to charity. (laughing) - Where, if he's got healthy gut biome, use that and shove it up someone's ass and get the healthy. It's a thing. It is a thing. - Where do you guys fall on the all-star game uniforms? - Oh, I thought they were terrible. - I like the ALs. - The ALs were the NLs were the dirty white kind of, oh great. - I mean, our agents are an atrocity. - Yeah, that's a very-- - I didn't like either. Like the color of orange I hated. Like it is, yeah, no, no, thank you. - Like I said, I just like the kind of dirty white that off white makes it feel like old tiny. Like this felt like a game from the, this was like the 70s pirates against, I don't know if the old asterisks is what it felt like. - Yeah, the top thing is, is it all sports have realized that to sell jerseys, they can't just do the patch anymore. Like I think in a perfect world, they wear the crazy hats and they wear their team jerseys, the whites and then the grays with the patch. But you can only sell so many, you know, you know, a kunya all-star. He wasn't there this year for obvious reasons, but you can always sell so many of those with just a patch. So we're now, you know, it's gonna be a minute before I get back to them, but I don't know. - Yep, we got some quality about colonics in the chat right now, guys, I'll just point that out. They did already do that in jackass. You're right, WCP, thank you. Booble says, fuck it, give me a shop vac and an edible and let's get it done. That might be fun too. Get a partner. - Watch. - Yeah, watch, you'll find somebody on Craigslist to help you with that, buddy. I always have a spotter for that, at least. - Spotter, yes. Somebody hold my hand while it's happening. Let's see, what else, sports. How about the new duck uniforms? So there was the gangrene uniforms that were announced today. Again, this is Thursday. They do not look like gangrene uniforms at all. You know, they promoted the whole thing with Alex Mouldin and all of this stuff. Again, they do not look like those uniforms. I think they look great. Don't get me wrong. I just think, like, can you be with them? - Yes, they were. Like, you mentioned in the discord that calling them gangrene, like nods to gangrene, is a stretch and I completely agree with you. They're not. - It's a joke. - But they're great uniforms. - So cool. - They look good. They do. - Like I said, if they said it was just kind of, you know, like a semi homage to the gangrene, you know, but if they were trying to pass it off as kind of like retro gangrene ones, yeah, that's a swing and a miss there. - Well, in the video that Oregon put out last night, they're like the gangrene video teaser. I think it was like, what's his name? Todd Van Something, Todd Van Horn? I think it was him. He was like, he's a knight in the diary. He was like, oh, gangrene isn't a year. It's not an era. It's an out of two. And I was like, oh, it's just not gonna actually look like gangrene uniforms because you want to know what? They wore those twice last year, like the exact same ones. - Should, does the basketball team mean to bring back the green game? - Green game? - Cherry green? Come on. I got a jerry green, I got a jerry green basketball camp basketball back there. - Was that the pinstripe ones? - No. - Is that the pinstripe one then? - No. - No. - No. - No. - Never had a weird pinstripe back then. - That is fall ski. - Uh, done? - Yeah. - Yeah, so, okay, uniforms look cool. Apparently the plan is to have several throwback nod uniforms this year, which, cool. I think the only thing I really care about with these uniforms is that they're on the video game. (laughs) - Which they're not yet. - They're not yet, yeah. But, you know, we have been told, or at least alluded to, that those are gonna be updated, so. Like I said, when they brought in, like a month or so ago, they brought in the fly era, or whatever they call 'em. Whether you like the look or not, whatever, that is what it is. I just hate when these story around 'em doesn't make sense. And even the video too, the Alex Mollvitz, like, I guess the number font kind of makes sense, but not even really, 'cause that's more, like, the 90, like, the next version of them. Like, it. - The thing about those uniforms is they were, like, super basic. Like, it was literally just, like, two colors and some numbers. That's the thing. Like, the jerseys back then were kind of shitty. That, like, that's why Oregon changed everything and started getting all, like, all spiffy with it, is 'cause the jerseys were super boring back then. And so, if you're gonna do, like, they're not throwback, uniforms, they're nods to the uniforms, and they're not even really that. Like, like, they have, like, the weird duck logo on the shoulders. So I was like, that logo hasn't been on anything, like-- - Actually, you just fell into a trap. - Mm-hmm. - I love people shitting on that logo on the side. - Okay. - But it looks terrible. It looks terrible. - I'm not saying that. - And it's like, no, no, no, no, I'm not saying you necessary. - I'm not saying they look terrible. - 'Cause it's a common trap I saw. - Okay. - I hate it. Or I hated that duck head with an O helmet. And it's like, oh, do you remember the 2015 Rose Bowl? - Yeah, do you remember that? - You're not gonna close your wall play off? - Mm-hmm. - Yeah, I'm saying they-- - I'm saying they were not from the game-- - Did you hate it then? - The era. - Of course it's not the game, let's not know. - That is my point. I'm not saying they've never existed before. I'm just saying, like, they were not on those uniforms because nothing was on those fucking uniforms. So I think that's what we talked about when we heard that there were gonna be throwback unis, is like, so you're just gonna have like block random horrible green and like a line of yellow, that's it, that's what you're gonna do. And obviously that's not what they're gonna do, but throwbacks for Oregon might not be as good as you think they're gonna be. 'Cause the unis back then kinda sucked. - Well, I mean, my thing is it's like, okay, we had the one, you know, that they released like a month or so ago, that's a mishmash of like four different eras. Okay, and by eras, I mean three-year blocks 'cause that's when they change their uniforms. Okay, I kinda just hope this is the last one. Like, I don't need another mishmash. - I was like, I don't think they have any other more that you can really go into, can they? - Yeah, they can go to the Kellen Clemons, you know, they can go interlocking you, whoa. - I guess they do have the interlocking you, oh, yeah. - But they already had those. Like I said, they were those twice last year. I mean, it is, you can't wear 'em too much 'cause then you can't sell the merch. I think, and it won't sell out like it does. - Yeah. - Well, it's a really real critique. - My only real critique is the yellow collar is trash. I put it in the discord, like in the Achilles iteration of the uniforms, they had the green jersey and then just like a darker shade on the collar and on the sleeves. That's what they should have done. The yellow on both, it's Baylor. Maybe it's a nod to Lake Seastrunk, I don't know. - Honestly, the Baylor color 'cause I saw the image, somebody shared in the discord of the Baylor uniform, the Baylor color is closer to the actual gangrene organ jerseys. Like that's the color of green they actually used to be. So if you were actually doing Baylor, that's a throwback. What they're doing is not a throwback, but they're awesome. So again, like, again, I love these uniforms. I love like 90% of what Oregon's done with their uniforms, but you know, they're not throwbacks. - All right, you guys tired of them trying to grab throwbacks and not just come out with new styles and color schemes, things like that? - I think that's the next thing is that the whole new, I think their next thing is a new template for the regular, yeah, I think that's the next thing that drops for the next three years, 'cause that seems to be the pattern. - When was the last time they did like a full new theme? - I'm trying to remember. - 21, 21. - Yeah. - Yeah, 'cause the Mario years were super plain. - Yep. - They had the one year with Herbert, where they did kind of the Philadelphia Flyers, where the name plate on the back was a different color, and the numbers were enormous. And they said, nope, the guy rid of the name plate and they shrunk the numbers, but everything else was exactly the same. So like those last three years of Herbert were very generic. And then the Anthony Brown year in 21, they came out with whatever the weird shoulder thing is that they've been wearing, but it's not drastic. I mean, they haven't made a drastic change. - That's what I'm saying. - Since the 2015, 2016 year, where they were kind of lost because they lost the agreement with whatever the company is up in Portland for the winged helmets. - Yeah, the wings, yeah. - So they had to go away, but they haven't done anything really drastic as a template for a while. - Yeah. - Yeah, they had some weird ones like the paint, eggshell splatters, but those are technically one-offs, even though they wear them once a year, but-- - I do like in the video game that they point out the fact that Oregon's uniforms on it right now, are 2023 uniforms. Like it literally says the year because they are going to release all of the other ones when Oregon releases them, which is cool. I appreciate that, and I appreciate their, I appreciate their like holding back a little bit. I appreciate that Oregon clearly thought it out enough to, you know, we have a new football game, video game that people have waited a decade for. Let's make us the star of it, in some way. Like that's, again, like not to no brand, like Oregon knowing what they're doing in terms of like their brand and promotion, it's brilliant. And so all of us who like, again, it's Thursday the 18th, the game is available for everybody tonight at nine o'clock. When everybody goes on there and starts playing with Oregon, in the next week or so, there's going to be those new Oregon uniforms and everybody's going to be stoked for it. And people are, and like kids, like people in their teens and their 20s and shit, like who only know that Oregon's good and only know that Oregon has these uniforms, they're going to play as Oregon. And again, it's brilliant. - Have you guys played any of it yet? - No, because I didn't get the deluxe edition. So I'm waiting till nine o'clock. - And you're not buying it, Ski? - I'm not getting it yet now. - Wow. - Well, I'll let some of the bugs get worked out for. - Oh, good. - Fucking bug guy. - I work out the bugs, Ski. - Oh, it's the bugs go through. Well, I will say the one thing about the intros that I hate and they hammer it through in every game and all it's. And I've only played a few games. As they go, oh, it's not a big stadium, boy, it's a loud stadium. I'm like, well, well, it's like, stop. Jesse Palmer, shut the fuck up, man. - Literally anything else. - At least eight times. - I know, it's not the motion of the ocean, it's how are you? - So I guess talking about this game is not going to be a thing we do tonight because I'm the only ones who've really played. - By all means, talk about the game. - No, no, no, I don't want to contaminate any opinions. I will just say, I read a review today from someone at ING, I-G-N, I-G-N. - I-G-N. - And exterminated off by going as an avid Madden player who hasn't played college since... - You lost me. - And he was just dragging the game. I was like, you're a... I think Madden's fine, like not. I've said, it's, well, what's better, what's better? Like, we expect so much from these games now. It's insane. - Give me NFL game day. Bring NFL game day back, that's what I want. Madden needs some competition. - I mean, blitz. - Well, NFL blitz is like arcade style. Game day is like an actual NFL game. Come on, man. - Game day with that. - I think it was like PSN. - I guess. - Yeah. - Yeah. I guess I'll be the, I'm sure I'll be the guys like, oh, this is just a Madden reskin, right? - Oh, you 100% of them, you're bug guy. - Oh, yeah. - Well, I'm not gonna buy it 'cause they're... I'll wait seven months until they work out all the bugs. It's frostbite studios, you know. (laughing) - I'm gonna wait till it's on a discount on Game Pass. That's what I'm gonna get at. - You clearly have not been a person that played, like, Cyberpunk when it first came out. - Yeah. - Yeah, it's a... - By the way. - I was gonna say like, by the way, I played Cyberpunk like a few months after it came out, like before all, like every, 'cause by the way, like, if you play Cyberpunk now, it's like a amazing game. Like, everybody who plays it now is like, it's one of the most amazing games I've ever played. Like, I played it like a few months after it came out and experienced like one bug. And it was totally a game-breaking one, but I had a save where I could go back like a half an hour. And then that's the only issue I had. It was like a really fucking fun game. I'm like, I felt bad for the people who made it, 'cause like, they're the same people who made Witcher, and Witcher is awesome, and Cyberpunk is awesome. It just was hella fucking buggy, and everybody talked about how buggy it was. But it's a great game, play it now, for sure. - It pops out in like, what, 20 minutes here? That servers are gonna be thumping here in 20 minutes. - Hammer'd. - I wonder what... - Please, please. The rest of America bought it on Monday, nerd. Come back outta here. - Yeah, they wanna play open a game. - They knew their suckers that would bite on, like what was 120 bucks for the delay. - And there's like 95 bucks. - Look at you, bro. Dropping like three days. - Yeah, must be nice. King like the 1% dropping money on deluxe editions over there. - Yeah, an extra $30. - Amazing. Amazing. - But I did like how you were, you're like, oh, I can't wait 'til they release the Oregon jerseys. Are they gonna release them for free? I mean, this game feels like a micro-transaction haven here. - Well, I think from whatever it is, mainly the ultimate team plays the micro-transaction. - That is right. - Yeah. - That's like Madden. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Is it? - Yeah, well, I don't play Madden. So yeah, I don't know where they're-- - You buy those like worthless player cards or whatever. - Yeah, see that, I think that shit's stupid. - So stupid. - It is. It is what it is. - That is why people don't like EA, like those right there. It's 'cause EA does that on all of their games. And people-- - Yeah, I know. - I knew people was like big for that. - Yeah. - But it's hard that player-- - You don't have to buy them. Like, just don't buy them if you don't like 'em. Like, it's really easy. But it's like the idea in EA does that on fucking everything they make, so. - Well, if they bring back like old players, let's say you can pull a cart, you can get a Keeley Smith. You're telling me you're not gonna wanna try to get a Keeley and play with a Keeley? - Now we're talking. - Now we're talking. - That's why I bought it. - I got 5,000. I got 5,000 points to burn, whatever the fuck they're called. - That's the Luxe points, really gonna get you. - No, the Luxe points, man. - Yeah, that's how he gets Keeley and Harry and gets the release. - He gets the X celebration. Like, King gets the X celebration with Keenan, Harry returning punts. - I guess I did already missed. There wasn't, I did see there was a bug about like buying these players where someone, I think the guy said he spent like $1,000 on getting them in like, I don't know what the bug happened where he couldn't get them. And then there was a bug the opposite way to where you could like just get them for free. So this guy was just out, you know, agreeing. - Well, if you're gonna spend $1,000 on buying a Von Miller, I guess I don't really have much. - Yeah. - Much sympathy for you. - You got that coming, yep. - Yeah, so before we move on for the video, I haven't done it yet, but some of the dynasty stuff, it just doesn't interest me. I gotta send DMs to recruits now. - Is that in there? - Yeah, man. - Is it really? - It's like five hours of recruiting time to do it. I don't care about that. That's too much. - So I guess you have got into enough. Is there a way to where you can just bypass the recruiting and just have your skills be good enough without getting a high level of recruits? - I don't think so. I don't think they've made the game actually pretty hard in comparison to even mad. Like it's, it's a Heisman is impossible from what I've seen all American. So like respected gamers are taking massive Ls to teams they should not. And it's just an accepted thing at this point. Varsity, yeah, if you're better team, you'll win. Obviously junior varsity is a joke, but it's kind of hard. Like that I do like that they, like I've just played with the organization. I haven't done a deep dive on it yet, but they do not let you do the Dylan Gabriel thing in other games where, oh, I'm the lefty quarterback. I'm gonna not fall on sprint. I'm gonna roll out to my right and not have my feet set and throw across the field and have it be a dime. Like they do not allow that. It is not a thing in all American and height. Like it is even in varsity they, that shit is shut down. Like I said, junior varsity is terrible, but it's much harder than you remember. - Hey, Ski, I have an idea and let me know what you think of it, Nadia for King. I think he should just get good. - Well, you guys haven't played yet. Sorry. - Bose-os. - Yeah, it was last time you actually quit. Was it last time you were actually playing without the cheat play where you just a wide open guy in the scene every turn. - Oh, I mean, that's what I'm saying, they are rid of that. You can't do it now. - Yeah, so it's saying that's why that's you relied on that for so long. - I will say though that even in all American, I haven't, I don't like Tez Johnson's routes. Slock guy, I don't like him. Even though you're supposed to take the checkdowns, I just don't like 'cause he's always lining up to the right. Like I said, I haven't played around with playbooks. I haven't done it yet. - The motion I'm over left. - I know you can. I know you can't. I've played like three games, guys. Jesus Christ. - Trash. - You've been playing shit. Do you even know what it is? Losers? - Trash. - God, come on. - The lights turn off 'cause you're trash. - Good. Come on. (laughing) - What is happening here? - But at Evan Stewart and Jabbar Muhammad, even on all American are fucking dogs. - Yeah. - Jabbar Muhammad's a dog. Evan Stewart, you might not always complete 'em. If you throw 'em long, he is open. - Was he the other one with like a 95, four speed? - Yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah. - And then by the way, - Tez might be the fastest. But like I said, I don't like his routes in the like two and a half games I've played. - Like all we've talked about so far when we've talked about this game is Tez and Stewart. And they also have Trishan Holden, who's like a really, really good. (laughing) - Yeah, boom. Yeah. - Yeah, what? - Third way, I see really like 90 overall. - Yeah. - 86, 87. - Boom. - I think on defense, I think Burch is a star. He's got the little star around him. If you get a sack or like get the computer or whatever with Matty, Matty you, he will get one. But yeah, Burch is pretty good too. But like I said, Stewart and Jabbar Muhammad are... - Whoo. - Yes, sir. - Really good. And like I said, they have no, they have a lot of two running back sets I've found out so far. Like I said, again, in the limited time and they make Noah winning to the full back. And I feel like they kind of brick his speed 'cause he's... Everything is straight up like, they're just not fun runs with them. Jordan James is good though. - They give all the good runs to Jordan James. - They do like running the ball up the middle with winning 10 for some reason. - Yeah, which it makes up. You know, it makes up. - It's realistic if it's in the game, right? Yeah. - So the game. - Bubbles says, "Poor one out for NCAA 14." - Yeah. - I'm good. - The one thing I don't, I haven't liked so far is they don't have any like, I know people hate the music Oregon plays a games because Oregon fans hate everything. - Well, that's what I brought up last week. I was curious if they were gonna have like a wolf mother or something. - If you play a game at Otson, it's Mo Bamba. And I can't remember what the song is, but it's a song Oregon State plays. That is the entire thing. - Yeah. - Yeah. - You know, I had like high expectations because you know what like, Oregon is actually really good this year. So I was sort of like, okay, well, they're gonna actually include everything that Oregon has. And, you know, it's the same as it was 10 years ago. They sort of like half ass Otson. It's like the attention to detail stuff is, it sounds like it's just not there. And what was I, you haven't played the game? - It's fine. Well, that's, well, like again, like the, so like-- - But that's a listening thing. - We talked about a lot. - It is. - It's bad 'cause they wanna pay for that song. They're not gonna pay for, you know, they're not gonna do song. - But like, you know, like the Go Ducks, like that kind of stuff. Like just little things like the color of the like, so, you know, when there's like a, when there's a color theme, the student section never does the color theme. And so usually you can see that, just like where the visiting fans are and the stands like that kind of stuff. It's just, it's little things where it's like, man, you could pay a little bit of extra attention and just do these little things and make it perfect, but, you know, they don't-- - This is why America can't be united. 'Cause you're like, Oh, you wanna know what? I don't like the angle of that tree on the cobra hills. I've set the press box and that tree sits due north. It means to south. - Do you hear the mighty Willamette flowing here often? - Yeah, you do not hear the Willamette. - Willamette. - You wanna hear the Willamette? - Willamette. - Yeah, the Willamette. I've never heard anyone say that. - Nope. - No, I've seen the sign. The Willo. - Was it the, was it the O that somebody like sued the school over? Like, remember they put the O logo on the side of the stadium and it was like too big? And so-- - Oh, is it professor? - Yeah, the professor-- - He said the neighborhood was like not too big, can't do it. - Yes, yes, and people are like, sir, you live in a house that's listed on Zilla for $2.9 million on. We do not care-- - Sir. - That you can see a partial O from your veranda. And only your veranda. - Yes. - Yes, but yes. - Is P.K. Park in the game? - I haven't seen P.K. Park, I don't know. I haven't paid him enough attention. - Yeah, curious. Booble asked that in the chat and I was like, I don't-- - I know when you're going that direction, I have seen Bill go peek out some of the Coburg Hills, but I don't, I haven't seen like a light pole or anything, so. - Do they pronounce everything correctly? - No. - Okay. - Mainly they do. David Pollock cannot say "awson." He says "awson." - Fuck. - Is that like-- - And it's, oh, is that like a throwback? 'Cause that's what they did in the old game. - It's really grating because like Reese Davis will say "awson" and then four plays later, he'll say "David Pollock" will say "awson." And it's just maybe it's a thing you can't say, like people from Florida can't say orange, they gotta say orange. We say Florida, they say Florida or something, but it's really jarring. It's never, ever been "awson" other than the old NCAA games. Like 'cause they use-- - But easy old boys have heard so far that says "awson," but it is noticeable. - Fix it, fix it. - Fix it. That's gonna be something we get, like you get the updates with FIFA. It's like, yeah, we updated so-and-so, blah, blah, they have like their list of things, that's gonna be one. Like fix David Pollock mispronouncing "awson." That's in the super deluxe edition that cost $150. - Well, you get mad with that one too. - It's inexcusable. - It's inexcusable, it's never been "awson." Like he's reading a script, like just say "awson," what the fuck is wrong with you? - One of the-- - It's always just fitting. - One of the game errors that cracked me up was, last night I think it was, people realized they have the old Stanford logo on their homepage. - And my old Stanford logo, it's like-- - I saw that, yeah. - It was like, it was like a black tree or something? - It's kind of a green tree, instead of a white tree, it's a green tree. Yeah, it's like, you're right, they did never wear the green tree on a helmet. The white tree on the helmet's been around for like 36 months. - Yeah. - They got it wrong, they did. But it's not like they gave Alabama the Atlanta Braves a, they did get it wrong, they did, but-- - But also-- - I'll say you're Stanford. - So you're like-- - And Yankees and why? - You're one of like 25 fans, so you know, you'll be okay. - It was like Stanford Fordham in one other school that on the homepage, they screwed up the logo and they were just like the most minor, and they-- - How dare they-- - How dare they screwed up the Fordham Rams? - I know. - You know? We're just walking to the BX and beat the Rams. - Your Rams, yeah. - Ever. - All right, people in the chat, give us a list idea right now, and we'll probably use it, 'cause we're almost at the end of the podcast, and we're gonna need to have a list to do here. - Right now it's top three bullets, so. - Yeah, AK, by the way, AK-47 in the chat saying he already did. AK-47, great, that's perfect for bullets, by the way. So he says, top three worst Husky fans online. I won't be able to answer that, but you could, like, for all of us, yeah. You wanna run 'em off real quick? 'Cause we could just do this as like a quick one. - I can't because they're three and oh in the last, like, 14 months, so. - Yeah, and we don't necessarily wanna put that on the record. - Whatever we say. - Yes, what was bad fans go? - It's funny watching that digital damn guy go from having, like, an actual audience that he trolls and engages to everything, even with, like, his 5,000 followers, 6,000 followers, 7,000, whatever it is. It's just, like, he may as well be sending DMs to, like, his best buds. 'Cause, like, hey, buddy, Oregon's down for a bad year, and one person would be like, you're not in their conference. And then, one OSU fan will have three straight replies. It's like, yeah, well, I hope you monetize that one, bud. - Thanks, bud. - It's coming to an end. - No. - It's a good run. - When you're going into a team select, what do they have the Cougs and the Beaves in? Do they call it the Pac-12 still? - Pac-12, yup, Pac-12, they stay Pac-12, Pac-12 signage, Pac-12 patch, the whole thing. - Top three Jiramni memes. You don't do memes. - That's gonna fair. - Yeah, you don't do memes. You do MS Paint. MS Paintwork. That's your main thing. - Are they memes? - I feel like you guys try and make me a meme in the Discord. It's really rude. - Oh, no. We have stickers of you. - Okay, I threw myself out there. Oh, like, on Twitter, I saw people making fun of me for my stupid NWO video after the Chiefs beat the bills. 'Cause, of course, you need to build the playoffs. - Genuinely. - I do, too. - I would not have created stickers if I didn't think they were great. Like, they're fantastic. - I'm not about them. I'm just saying. - Okay, all right. - All right. Top three announcers who should be in the game. - How good is AI now? Is it good enough to? - 'Cause we got-- - We'll keep Jack. - Come back. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Can we get some, like, get some Brock-- - We get hologram two, Paul. - Can we get the AI key? - Can we get the AI key, Jack? - Can we get some Brock Heward? Is that a thing? (horn honking) - Oh, no. - Dave Pash, can he do some college football? Gus Johnson? - Is Gus-- - Gus Johnson? - The Fox? - No. So, do, like, the Fox team, right? Like, Gus Johnson-- - No, it's pretty much ESPN or ESPN cast-offs. - Isn't that kind of what they should have done? Like, they should have done the ESPN team, ESPN/ABC team, and then the Fox team. - And then-- - 'Cause you got Reggie Bush, Matt Liner, like, I mean, why not? Why don't you like the ESPN team? - Brother-- - You know what? You know what, Gary Danielson? - I sure don't. I sure don't. - I don't even know who was the lead in life for CBS now. Now he's gone. - Yeah, you're right, it's our birth. - Yeah. - Yeah. I'm not gonna do that list, AK-47. Top three worst losses at Austin in your lifetime. Nah. Nah. - Nah. - Nah. - I don't feel like it. I don't feel like it. Number three, '70 to '21, 2006. - Yeah, you-- - Washington Huskies. - The Utah Blowout. - Utah Blowout, yeah. That's another one, yeah. - The Arizona Blowout, the Arizona Blowout with Dixon in his junior year was also awful. That was like one of the worst sporting events I've ever been to in my whole life. Was that game? - I mentioned, yeah, I mentioned it before. I walked from Skis house with my buddy with a buddy. We got to the Austin Bridge. I went, "I don't wanna watch this team." I tried to eat my ticket, and that didn't go well, and we went home. Don't try to eat tickets, I don't even think they really give away tickets anymore, but-- - We-- - Don't try-- - Don't eat cardboard. - Yeah. - Was it glossy also? - Yeah, it was. - It was more of a matte finish. - Why are you throwing away perfectly good Carl's junior coupons? That's what I wanna know. - Well, this is before they were scratching sniffed. This is a couple of years before that-- - You're throwing Western bacon cheeseburgers in the truck. That was a dollar off a famous star right there. - Come on, bro. If famous stars were like a dollar back then. - Here's a list of top three fast food hamburgers. My number three, Western bacon cheeseburger from Carl's. Famous star from Carl's. Six dollars later from Carl's. Boom, end of the list, rack me. Green burrito from Carl's. Green burrito from Carl's. I gotta say, I'm so against the coal, the dual-- - You're doing? - That guy went to a, oh man. I'm trying to remember the burrito store. It's more in Washington and Seattle, but it was like a skippers and whatever that burrito place is and it was fucking wild. Skippers. - Skippers, I remember. - The skippers in a burrito place. The high-key skippers on West 11. - That's where it was. - Yeah. - Time took it over. - That's where line time is. Yeah, 'cause it's got the big-- - Absolute disaster of a business. Try and charge you for teriyaki on the side now. Eat my shorts, line time. - I read a beef. - No, don't eat-- - Fuck it out of here. - So what's some soy sauce, man? What are we doing? - How to crash a business into some rocks in the ocean. Good job, Hawaiian time. You're doing it. - There's resting on their laurels of their max salad. It's all I got. - Which I understand fully. All right, let's just, I mean, let's just not do a list. You know? I feel like we've done a list. That was our list. We just did it. You getting a call, King? - No. - No? Somebody's getting a call. - Yeah, it's some fun, I don't know. - Okay, all right. Well, King has to take that call, so we're gonna end the podcast and just call it good. Thank you for watching. Thank you for listening. Movie on Sunday, again, it's sequel week, so it is Dark Knight Rises. It's King's movie, it's on Max, it's on Hulu, it's on Prime. I watched it on Max, I definitely know it's on that. - Yeah, watch it on Prime, a little better on Prime. Gotta say it. - Okay, all right. - A little clearer. - Quality's a little bit better. Okay. Yeah, I got that Bezos bump. I like that. - Crisp. - We gotta watch out now, 'cause now old Bezos is adding ads on to watching shit on Prime. - That's true. You gotta watch like a minute of ads or two minutes of ads, and then you can watch your thing, that is true. - Taco Del Mar, that's the place I was, who's Taco Del Mar and his skippers. - There you go. - What the fuck, man? - Oh, Taco Del Mar. - I wanna get a burrito at Taco Del Mar. Truly horrible, by the way, let's go out this way, a truly horrible top three burger list from WCP in the chat, truly terrible. - No way. - So, Booble says, "Top three burgers for the list." WCP says, "Three is Big Carl from Carl's Jr." That's like the worst burger Carl's Jr has. Like, there's literally like four or five better burgers in Carl's Jr. - Just get a big mac. - Number two, number two is the Whopper. Like, really? - I would throw a burger, I would throw a burger. I would throw a Burger King burger in there. Little rodeo cheeseburger. - Not a bad one. - I don't know if you saw us in a fry up. - Fright on you. - Fright on you. - On you're on you. - What is Burger King's aversion for putting toppings on a fucking burger? Like, you get a Whopper? - You get a Whopper. - It's sharp. What else do you need? - The idea of a Whopper. - The idea of a Whopper, right? - Like, the idea of a Whopper, it's like burger bun, cool. And then a bunch of lettuce and tomato and all that shit. Why is there like one little piece of lettuce? And like a little sliver of a fucking tomato on it. Like, fuck off, Burger King. Like, you're charging four dollars for a fucking Whopper and you're not gonna put any toppings on it? - Four dollars. Where are you gonna whopper for four dollars? - He's a dick. - Just 1998, what's going on? - Yeah, are you still watching Al for like what we do? - A Hunter Biden's America, bro. - Cheesebees, is Michael Dukakis running? What are you doing? - His number one is the Baconator, which, all right. I get it. It's a lot of bacon. I get it. - There's a thing again with no toppings. It's nothing, it's cheese and bacon. - Just guys, you know, like, figure it out. - Where does Moochco gusto following your top three fast casual talk of burrito places? - I've only ever thought of burrito. - It looks like a Baja Fresh. - I've only ever got a burrito there, like ever. - I don't, I get a hit ahead of Chipotle. - Chipotle is good. - I don't think you're wrong. I don't think you're wrong. - But yeah. - It's a chip. - It's a chip. - It's a chip. - It's a nice little accoutrement. - Chip's in some Pico. - Okay. - Yeah, boy. - Yeah, go to Gallo. - I will say Baja Fresh. Nah. - That's like a hot terrible, but yeah. - Yeah. - Cudoba, how about Cudoba? - Oh, I do remember having a really good Cudoba burrito a long time ago. It's been a while. - Cudoba might still be on campus. - I don't think it is actually. - Is that? - It's one of the last remaining old things that's on there. Yeah. - We gotta go check out some Cudoba here soon. - Get some dope. - Now that you mention it. All right, cool. Thank you for watching. Thank you for listening. - Good bye. - Good bye. - Cudoba. - What? - Next week's podcast live from Cudoba. - Love it. Live from Cudoba. We'll bring a TV and an Xbox. - 'Cause they have free water. - If I don't tell me. - That's what I'm saying. TV, Xbox, Cudoba. Like we're playing NCAA, live streaming, perfect. - I mean, it'll be empty, so I think we'll be good. - Cudoba, hit us up. Yeah. - All right. - Can we fucking? - Hey, for the free water in the legislature state. - Stop talking. The podcast is over. Goodbye. (laughing)
Braga, King, and Ski talk: :15: Corona Light, bad all star games, kids getting elective Tommy John surgery, reaching colonoscopy age. 19:44: Oregon's Gang Green unis, questionable throwback ideas, the release of College Football 25, Oregon's video game dogs. 43:12: David Pollack not knowing how to say Autzen, rapid fire lists, horrible taste in burgers.
