Roster expansion day is here, where MLB active rosters go from 26 up to 28 players. With Jarren Duran's season-ending injury/surgery, Wilyer Abreu appears to be the choice to take his place for the remainder of the season for the Boston Red Sox. With two more roster spots available and Pablo Reyes coming back soon, it appears that Ceddanne Rafaela has one of them secured, as infielder David Hamilton was optioned back to AAA Worcester to make room for Wilyer Abreu, who was reactivated from the Paternity List.
