Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as they give their takes on all things Detroit sports. The number one midday showing Detroit is on. Welcome to big D energy. Yo everybody welcome to what's the name of the show big D energy? You know what? You know I get confused because this show has too many initials. This is big D and you're KB but sometimes okay G K G but sometimes we have KB on KB on here and KB. I get all confused. We off to a great start. We off to it but you know what? Here's why I'm gonna challenge you to be a big boy today. Okay. All right. All right. Big boy. Yes. Detroit Tigers. Yes. So they punk out and trade Derek Scooboo and Flannery and just trade all their pictures. We gonna get into that most definitely but real quick let's just go around the room. We got young Justin in the audio booth Justin. What up though? Hey you know I'll be charted to KG holding down the desk. The go. Oh yes. Yes sir. Oh it's white Jesus. It is white Jesus man. Generally some people would call him. We got we got broader in the mass chair. He'll be chipping in here in there broder. My guy. What's up. Hello. Good. Good. And we got. Looks like he wants to fight somebody. You're right man with the sleeveless flannel. I had a joint flannel today on the desk. So we decided to go sleeveless flannels today. I called him broke back. We were earlier this morning. So I feel like that was a little broke back. Yeah. And of course, in the TV with that. Of course in the TV booth we have the legendary B six broadcaster six a.k.a. Spinny. Hello. What's going on? Skinny. All right, man. Yeah, I'm doing pretty good about yourself going back for us today. I don't know. I don't know. Maybe not to move. All right. Once again, I want you to be a big boy. All right. Here. Here's my challenge. To your red hot Detroit Titans. All right. Let's hear it. Do not trade any of your starting pitching. Do not sell. Okay. Act like a big boy organization because you haven't done anything in almost a decade. I think it's time for Chris Hill is to prove me wrong because I say when they're ready to challenge, when they're ready to have their core, he's not going to do anything about it. Yes. That's why I'm pessimistic about the Detroit Tigers. No, I can't blame you for that take. And me personally, I'm not just totally on the trade school will bandwagon. But I think it just it has to be considered at this point. You have so many holes in your infield. And yeah, if you want to wait on the young kids, that's fine with me. But that means another two to three years of what just bottom feeding. I don't believe in that philosophy as well. Boy, I'm not going to young kids. How about this? Nobody ever thought of this? How about keeping your starting pitching, letting your young kids develop, but bringing in a couple bats, veteran bats. I mean, that would be an ideal scenario, but that's all up to the man upstairs, AKA Chris Hillich, AKA little Chris. So I mean, I don't I'm just not confident that he will like spend big. But if he were to make some better additions in the next year, maybe spend around 15 to 20 million, get some real bats in here, then I feel like they can, you know, maybe supplement until the kids come up. But I mean, at this point, school boy has to be on the table. Well, he has to be on the table, but he doesn't have to leave the table. You don't have to trade him facts. You've got perhaps the best pitcher in baseball, definitely the best left hander in baseball. Yeah, probably would be so you get the end of your now. Here's something that I've noticed is an outside observer for Major League Baseball. If you got pitching, you are dangerous in the postseason because you don't have to have five starters. You don't have to go to your six starter and all that stuff. If you got three solid starters, you can win any series. That is true. Why not go there? I understand. And they do seem to have the pitching that can win a playoff series. It's just the inconsistencies in this offense. I don't know what to expect long term. And I know we got outlooks on the Tigers second half of the season on the show sheet. But this is where I want to turn to Broder, our credential Tigers beat writer. You know, we talked about this a little bit on Wake Up What word, but what how what are your feelings on the Terry school portrayed? I know in reality, you want to keep him, but what would you do if your guy here is innocent? Yeah, best case scenario is you keep them. But that requires the commitment from the owner from Chris Hill is that he's not only going to extend Terrick Scooble whenever that may happen. Maybe it's this offseason. Maybe it's in two and a half years when Scott Boris wants 400 million dollars for him. You do that and you get commitment that he's going to buy some bats to help this core this offseason. Then okay, you can be extra stingy. Maybe not even consider it. But I think you've got to at least listen. There is a there is a real bidding more starting to happen between the Orioles and the Dodgers. Yeah. And if you want to add a third team into that mix, the Red Sox, they're seven and three in their last 10 games. So the Red Sox are in an interesting situation where they might chase a World Series run a deep playoff run this year. Yeah, and would want Terrick Scooble for that. And they got some serious prospects in their system or I should say and or if the Orioles are serious about trying to pull this off, they're likely going to want to sign Terrick Scooble long term. So the Red Sox might want to block that and try to go get Terrick Scooble at this time while they have the prospects too. There's a lot of variables to this. I wouldn't trade him, but I would 100% listen if you can build up this bidding more and get a historic haul that cannot transform your organization in three, four years, but you're getting guys that you expect to contribute next year. But why help the Boston Red Sox? Why help the Baltimore Orioles? Why help the L.A. guys? Now, wait a minute. Are the Tigers winning the series this year? No, but is there going to be a 2025 baseball season? It is. Okay. So they're going to play next year, right? Yeah. All right. Is there going to be a 2026 baseball season? It is. So we know this, we're in fact, they're going to play at least two more major league baseball season. Am I right? As far as we know, yes. Why not put yourself in position to be very good in 2025, very good in 2026, 2027, and then have a 2028 season. All right. We act like this is the only season they're going to have in major league baseball. You already got the pitching. I mean, these are some damn good arms on there. Yeah. Put it on Chris Hillage. Put it on the Tigers to spend for some hitting because the Tigers, when they score three runs, they're like unbeaten this season. Yeah. The wind number is very high. You don't need much. You're right. And that's why you need the commitment from Chris Hillage that whenever that time is, which should be, or at least start this off season, he's going to open up the check books and actually build around the core that they have in the organization. Are you sure about that? I don't think it's going to happen, which is why I think you have to consider trading him at the peak of his prime. Yeah. You have to use these three teams, not only their chase right now, but also the strength of all three, the Dodgers are a little that aren't as strong, but the strength of their farm system. Yeah. And use it like literally, if you can pull it off with the Orioles, your infield next year, including catcher, could be made up of all Orioles and Colt, Keith and Jay Sheung. I like the sound of it. Could you do me a favor? Yes. Since you're a credentialed Drake Tiger beat writer, you go out there and when next time you see Chris Hillage said, Hey, bitch, spend. That's all you got to do. I wouldn't recommend you do that. You don't have to get the audio from it. I just want to see how you respond. But to Broder's point, when you look at a team like the Orioles and the farm system that they do have, a lot of those young guys, it won't take that long for them to come up to the major league level and probably make an impact. We talk about development. The Orioles are a team that is pretty good at developing young talent. And we see that, man. And then you guys have a guy like Jackson Holliday, a Kobe Mayo. These guys can feel very light. We have a lot of holes in the infield. I don't know if you've noticed, but we don't have a second baseman. We don't have a shortstop. Or first base or first base, third is questionable at this point. So I mean, if you can insulate that with these young guys, man, that would probably be ready by, you know, midway through 2025 and they can come up and start to make the impact. I don't think that's a bad idea, especially if you can spend a little bit more this next offseason, get some solidified bats in here with what we already have. Then I think maybe you have something rolling until we get the Bitcore up here, which will probably be around 2027. I want to see that's true. All this development track because I don't know if you've noticed this guys are real good in other organizations and they come here and don't get developed. I understand there is something wrong with the brew. I understand, but when you have a pitching coach, like in terms of pitching, I know you're you want to keep school, but I do have confidence in Chris Federer. This is somebody that resurrected Flaherty's career. A lot of people gave up on Flaherty before he came to the Tigers, man. And this is a guy that wasn't in contention for a Cy Young at one point in his career, man, but he comes here, he gets the toolage from Chris Federer and it paid dividends. You also look at Reese Olsen. Yes, he's been unlucky this year, but overall, he's been a model of consistency, man. You look at Scuba, the only real bad egg in this bunch has been Ken to my Ada, which, you know, however you feel about my Ada is how you feel about them, but they have the capabilities to develop pitching. You also have a Jackson Job on the way up in the pipeline. So I think that if you were to go to trade tear Scuba route, then you have the capabilities to develop pitching and then maybe also spend some money on some, you know, arms that are already established and elite. You know what, if they trade Scuba, forgive me for being an asshole, but if they trade Scuba, that's them saying, we don't want to compete. See, I don't think so. We don't want to fight. They're going to trade his ass and they're not going to sign anybody else and go, let's let the young boys grow up and we'll wait until 2029. Well, why do you think that weight rotor? I actually think it speeds the process up. Like, I don't have faith in much of AAA or AA in this Tigers organization. Now, there's a few pieces. Yeah. I like Lee. I like, you know, Jason Young and Jackson Joe, but like, these are players that not only did Alavila draft, but they have been coming up through the Tigers organization and haven't been developed right. I'd rather go get a bunch of AAA players from the Orioles if you can get the historic call mid-season. And that's the only reason I'm considering mid-season. You want major league bats. It happens in the off season. You know what this guy is? What's cute? Oh, my gosh. Very, very cute. He believes. He believes. What choice do we have here? I sure do. What choice do we have to be realistic? I mean, I understand that, but we got to work with what we got here. This is Scott Harris's is the man in office. He's not Alavila. Now, do I have confidence that he can go out there and really make some of these moves? Still yet to be seen. He's only been in the job for a little less than two years, but this trade deadline is definitely going to be like pivotal in terms of like what how we view Scott Harris going forward. I'm here to I'm here to pick sides and split the room in half because I'm with Terry. I think you keep three school. This the Torkelson stuff has be PTSD. Like I don't have that they're just going to make these prospects work. Keep school will go get some veteran bats to put next to the young guys you already have there doing well. You got to all start in Riley Green already. You got a guy who if he continues to play the way he is is going to be an all-star and cold Keith. Get some veteran guys in here like Oh, I don't know. J.D. Martinez would look pretty fucking good either between or after Riley Green. You got Carpenter who if his back back is alive, he can still be a good bat. So I'd rather add a couple veterans and keep three school boys and add more prospects onto the pool. You wouldn't listen to the offer at all because I mean, you look at what the Orioles are offering you you could possibly get for top 100 MLB prospects not just regular prospects. You always listen brother. You always listen. That's what I proposed and got ripped on it in the morning show is their top three prospects their seventh prospect overall. It's a hall. Yeah. And it still might not be enough. But you listen like Terry said. And you may not get that. Yeah. That may be the rumors doesn't mean that that's what the Orioles want to offer you. Right. Right. But here's what happens with us and I'm not blaming you for it. All those going to sound like I do it is the Tigers feed us with bullshit. They do and we buy it or they have in the past. How about this? Oh, we don't want J.D. Martinez. You're going to block the kids from coming up. I'm sorry, man. I still have my caveats about this season. Like one that the A.O. Central is way better than we thought it would be to not. It's not. That's the problem. It's not. It's it's in terms of what we thought the Tigers could be. We thought the Tigers could be where they are now and be at the top of the A.O. Central. That's clearly not the case. The Cleveland Guardians, you know, Indians, whatever Cleveland Guardians, they are way better than we expected, man. And then when you look at Spencer Torkelson was never supposed to get sent down again. And now it's looking like we might not see him until September sometime. So that wasn't in the plans as well. Parker Meadows taking a dive was in the plans like there are caveats to this season. September of what year will we see Spencer Torkel? We may not see him again. And you know, and I'm personally on the train that maybe you just cut cut your losses now and get rid of him because he wasn't a Scott Harris guy to begin with. But there are caveats to this year. So I'm I understand where you're coming from. I still have some kind of faith that maybe they can turn this around. But I do want the time ride the timeline accelerated. I don't think that you got faith. I do have a little bit of faith. You know, you kind of cute too. I know you'd have been around there and seen all the misery. But I'm just saying I'll tell you what. I mean, you a lot of people say, well, you know, the Tigers, it can be in the playoffs in 2025 or 2026. I'll tell you what, if they trade school, and they bring all these bring bring in all the prospects you want, this team will not contend for a playoff spot for at least another three years. A hundred percent. Because here's why you have all these prospects. And all we talk about the Tigers, prospects, prospects, prospects. We're talking about the future, the future, the future. Fuck the future. What about now? What about now? Fuck the future. Are we going to be waiting? You know, we're going, bro, do you going to be my age? No, I'm just going to do it this year. But see, I'm not saying I don't know, no, I'm the opposite. I don't know if faith, I have less faith that he's going to open up the checkbook for not only scuba at 300 million plus for eight plus years, but also to go out and get real vets. So 15 to $25 million bats this offseason. I also doesn't think that makes them a containing team. Don't you tell them to make some better. You're telling me the Tigers are a lost cause. No, I'm saying if they don't do anything, we really are waiting for Max Clark's draft class. We're waiting three, four, five years for Scott Harris's first stab at this whole thing to make it to Big League level. And I know you guys got to go to break here in a sec. Maybe we revisit it, but I it's either we're waiting for the youth to come up in the Tigers organization, or we're going to steal the Orioles top, top form system already in building ready almost seven eight players in MLB top 15 in the Tigers organization. To me, that's worth considering considering. I got a question for the group. Okay. When we return here on big energy. All right, Spiny, where we at? Tell us about this book, KG. I'm your boy KG filling in for D Mac. We got the legendary Terry Foster and the Neil rule chair got questions for you guys. And he does. I'm gonna let baby Jesus take it first hurry baby Jesus baby Jesus 2025 season which you guys are not pulling my leg there's gonna be a 2025 baseball season as far as we know there should be if the tiger doesn't go down the two okay before then 2025 with the Detroit Tigers be a playoff team a playoff contender or just another bullshit also ran baby Jesus take it away. I want to say playoff contender but I have seen zero evidence that proves that we're going to do something to put us there so honestly I'm gonna say that we're gonna be just there like we'll probably be in the same place we are this year around 500 maybe a little bit better but nowhere near like a playoff contender or a playoff series contender. Okay. Judy pie. What? Hey babe. I think as is we're in a similar situation as they are this year hoping that the guardians and the royals regress the twins don't progress and you have a chance to sneak in with a down al central. I don't think the al central is gonna get worse like I love the royals and what how they're building their team. They're gonna run this division for the next couple years. The way you get into the playoffs next year is if you go get multiple multiple 15 20 25 million dollar bats and your your your core actually does improve Riley green has another all-star year cold Keith continues to play like he is now. Marker Meadows is healthy and can hit an off speed pitch. These are a lot of question marks. I still don't know who the infield is other than cold Keith. Big facts. Young Kenneth. Well we know how he's gonna be there. Unfortunately man and that's that's a whole another conversation but it's just hard to tell right now if they go out and spend some money in free agency I am confident they can be a playoff contender because when you look at what they have now it's not the worst thing in the world. It's not like we're the white Sox. We're not bottom feeding. There is something here. We just need to see more consistency from the young guys but you can help them out greatly if you go spend some money. Okay you just filibustered me. Okay playoff team playoff contender also ran. I say a contender. I got a question. If they spend money. I got a question for you KG. What up. How do you think that we have faith in Scott Harris to actually sign us good contracts to bring in players that actually will help this team. He's hitting at about a 50% rate with these signings from this past offseason. Yeah and you could argue that there's more bad than good considering Flaherty only got a one year deal. He did gave me eight or two. Yeah. What do you say about that like there's no there's no substance on the fact that Scott Harris can actually navigate an offseason and use money correctly. He kind of gave a little bit of a la Viva vibes in this last offseason. Well if I'm going off just what he's done currently it's still up in the air if I'm being completely honest but I mean you look at the Flaherty deal one year but that did work out. You have a guy like Chris Federer here that really improved Flaherty. The Maeda deal probably the worst deal in all of baseball two years. He's now a reliever. He's not even a starter anymore. So I'll give you that one. Oh but he pitched three and a third innings of a scoreless ball of the day. Come on now. You brought him in to be a innings eater veteran and he just he's falling off the off a cliff man. He just is bad. I didn't think it would be this bad with him. But the G.O. or Shella deal and you know I'm like the poster child for G.O. or Shella according to Neil. But I don't think that deal has been that bad. Like has it been perfect? No but it hasn't been that bad. They've been able to get by at third base as compared to other infield positions. So I mean he hasn't necessarily shown that he's incompetent in terms of getting players. I really think it's all up to Chris Harris and I know that's maybe the simple answer but he can't spend if Chris Harris. Sorry Chris. Yes. Good correction. There you go. Yes. But they they are one in the same. Can I show you something real fast? Yeah. Go ahead. I just want to address somebody in the chat a chat member Dennis Titek. He says Chris Harris. I'm assuming he means Scott Harris is no better than a villa. We can they're not on the same stratosphere of comparables yet. Yeah. L. Vila had an all star team that he got to ship away and got nothing in return for them. Absolutely nothing. So you cannot compare L. Vila to Scott Harris and and what they've done. L. Vila had a gold mine to get prospects and got absolutely nothing in return. L. Vila was fine at drafting players. Yeah. He had a fine red except for one ones apparently but other than that he was pretty good at drafting players but he he had a bounty of all star level players that he traded away and got nothing in return. So you can't compare the two. All right. Spind off millionaire. I mean you rod didn't. You anything and he was an all star playoff contender. You're trading. Also ran 2025. What would the Tigers be? They're going to be just another team. They're going to be because I agree with G. If they go out there and spend they could be a playoff contender but they're not going to. All right. All you guys were so optimistic. Oh, you know, if the Tigers do this, I think they're going to be good. But when I posed the question to you, four of us said they're going to be also rans next year because that's what I'm saying. One said contender. Nobody said the playoffs. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you got a crawl before you walk. They're not just going to wake up and be in the World Series. That's not happening. I said playoffs. Did I say World Series? I understand. But even to win a playoff series, it will take a lot. Do they have the pitching to do so? Yes. But it's all about what they can do at the plate at this point. How about this? Make the playoffs get swept in the first round. That's making the playoffs. That's right. Yeah. But I don't know. I would regular season. You get to the playoffs with hitting. You win in the playoffs with pitching. Like if the Tigers with this rotation with scuba, flarity, Olsen, if you find some way into the playoffs, not one single team in the major leagues wants to face those three series, but you still got to get there. Yeah. And from the the the little pro. Well, you were just talking about Scott Harris bringing in veteran bats and it's, you know, he's at a 50 percent rate. So you guys telling me that Scott Harris is stronger at identifying young prospect talent than he is going and bringing in veteran free agents. I mean, that appears to be the philosophy. I mean, we haven't seen this over here. It's prospecting. I'm putting my arms behind my back. What is this? The alligator. That's Scott Harris. When he goes to Chris Hillage and says, Hey, man, can I sign some players? No, they handcuffed his ass. So you can't do anything. Exactly. You're proving my point. If he's not, if if Chris Hillage isn't going to spend, why would you not use your most valuable asset this organization might ever have to your advantage and try to get something historic? Not just try to trade him for nothing or for something, something historic. Here's my challenge. All right. You got a voice in this city. Jesus has got a voice in this city. Let these got one. And so does us. That's broadcast six over here. I know broadcast or six. Then put pressure on Chris Hillage to do something. Chris, Chris Hillage needs to understand this. If you just have a team that's competitive, he's going to fill up that ball part. Yeah. If he's got it above five hundred team, he's going to make money. I don't care what his payroll is because people are going to go out there. They're going to fill the park. They're going to buy the little beers and going to buy the hot dogs and hamburgers and have a good old time and even leave a tip. Yeah. So I don't understand when you have a baseball fan base and maybe sometimes you can call them dumb. I'm not going to do that. But when you have a baseball fan base that falls for every trick that you do, why not put a competitive team on the field? I mean, it's very possible, man. But we just need to see more out of Scott Harris before we can say these things. This is why this trade deadline is really going to be pivotal because if you do hold on to school, well, that's fine. But you have to sign them. Like the more you wait, the more you run the risk of having a Michael Farmer type situation, you don't want the guy to get hurt and then you don't have them under contract. So I understand it from that aspect. But if you do trade them, the return has to be there. And you're not going to get major leaguers during this trade deadline. That's true. But you're not going to get major leaguers during this trade deadline. But if you can guarantee me that we would have four out of the top of 100 MLB prospects almost ready to come up to the big leagues to contribute, you spend a little money in the off season. Now this looks like something. And you have a core going forward that you can wait two to three years and at least be competitive until the Scott Harris editions really come up and then we can see what what he's really done as far as drafting on talent. But KG, I'm not necessarily trying to wait and see this team reminds me a lot of the of the Arizona Diamondbacks a year before last year when they have pieces and they have young talent. And now it's just more we need to surround the young talent with vets and fill out the rest of our lineup. Because you're you can't tell me if we go into this off season and bringing guys like Jack Peterson and Bellinger or some right handed power. Like I know Adamis is a free agent and in maybe you do have to overpay him. But if you bring in some of those guys and you supplement this roster with two or three bats, you already have the elite pitching. You already have a decent bullpen. This team could be ready to make the playoffs next year if you listen to Terry and you they spend money like they are they are not as far as people think especially if you insulate the lineup. Riley Green's gonna get better. Cole Keith's gonna get better. Like there are options here to get better and to to insulate this roster. And that's what we need to do. And if we want to actually be a serious baseball team next year, I hear you. We're all essentially saying the same thing. We're all saying spend some damn much. But you believe. But I believe this. I do believe when we return. Let's discuss a four letter word that rhymes with whore. That's coming up next on Big D Energy. Who's our baby? Let me tell you guys about the morning show. I am your boy KG, up here with the Detroit legend Terry Foster. We got my boy Justin in the sound booth. We got Broder in the match chair and Broadcaster six, formerly known as Spencer Raxter in the TD booth. How long has he broadcast or six now? You ain't heard? They use my audio on Netflix's receiver. They used a cut from the show of me talking about I'm around St. Brown and they gave the quote to broadcaster six. He ceased being spent more Rax. I guess I did hear that, but I didn't know Raxter would have to be sick. You know, we were after the Detroit golf club yesterday. Yeah. And I, for the life of me, wish we had Randy Moss on. Oh my God. Yes. Because I think Broder asked, what was it the first question you would ask me? It wouldn't be a question. I would bring up a scenario that happened that I would want to run by him. Okay. When I used to cover the lines as a columnist for the Detroit news, I ran to Ron Hughes, who was the player personnel director at the time. I'm like, dude, why didn't you draft Randy Moss? Yeah, they have a chance. Because the lines are all about character, character, character. Yeah, off the field stuff. Like, yeah. He said, no, no, no, no, no. That's not the reason we didn't draft Randy Moss. Why is it? Because then he belittled me and said, well, you know, you sports writers, what they, what people in high management, the sport, they always said, you sports writers don't really know anything about Alan. You don't know anything about sports. Wow. You just run your mouth and write bullshit and blah, blah, blah. He said, if you notice when you watch him play, Randy Moss has alligator arms. That's what he told me. You know what I did? What? Right in his face? You did it like that? Yeah. Yeah, man. I said, come on. Yeah, well, how excited is it? I'm gonna do Randy Moss. We'll say about it. Yeah. He would go, you know, really. Maybe it's a good thing he ain't come here though. Because I mean, he would have had to deal with some BS. He would not have liked it. Yeah. He probably would have left. Yeah. I mean, Dante Culf ever didn't necessarily work out too much better. But I mean, you know how many games Dante Culf ever won here? How many zittas? Oh, and eight, but he had the perfect dance. Oh, yeah. And stop. Oh, my God, man. Don't take me back to them days. But yes, we are back here on Big D energy. And before we went to break, you said you had a, a, I want to discuss something, a word, a word is a whore. And we'll ask you guys about it. All right, core. Oh, it's not what I thought tigers have their core in place. I kind of think they do. But I can see both sides of it, because, I mean, you got some good young players, but you got players and not really nuts. And they had their little, yeah, eight game or 11 game streak where they look good. And you know, Riley Riley Grinn is part of the core. Right. Yeah, I know. You shouldn't have gotten shouldn't be an all star game. Just check it. Just make it show, you know, we'll go ahead. My bad. Are the tigers core in place right now? I would say not all the way there. There are pieces that that we have. Riley Green definitely being one of them. If you keep school, of course, school is one. I look at Reese Olsen as somebody that's possibly a part of this core. Of course, Colt Keith, they did pay him. It took him a while to get started. But now you're seeing that he can be at the very least a competent, uh, MLB player. Um, and those are like the definite for me, at least right now. That's a lot of names though, bro. I mean, sometimes of course, like four people. I mean, true, you build around true, but and I'm not, I don't mean core in terms of like superstar, but I mean core in terms of like, superstar, but I'll be a court, but you're not a core as in this will be your core or people on your team when you start to become a consistent winner. So I would put those for there for now. Um, everybody else is up in the air though at this point. You filibustered me again. Yes or no is the core in place. No, by that metric. No, not completely. All right. What's your thing, Broder? Yeah, bro. Don't look around like that's not here. Bro, no, I'm ready. I didn't know if you were going to go to one of the fellows first. Now, I think I'm in you part of the core is there, but I don't think they know more than two, two members of that at this point. Yeah. I think it's Riley green and it's cold Keith. Yeah. I think they're still evaluating Justin Henry Malloy, Parker Meadows, Torkelson. Um, even the Jayce Youngs of the world, the like, we don't know what some of these players are going to be like going from AAA to the major league. This, this year, as we know, it's an evaluation here for Scott Harris to figure out who what that core is. Maybe Wenzel Perez is part of that. I don't know. This little streak they've been on. We've seen great pieces from great games from the Malloy's, the cold keys and the Riley green, but it's also been aided by Carson Kelly, Matt Veerling, Andy Abanias, a little bit of Urschella, but like those guys all played pieces and not that you need nine core players. Not maybe major league team. You need the veerlings of the worlds. I just don't think they know who that is yet and they hope Max Clark is part of that. Maybe McGonagall, maybe Lee in double A, but those guys are years away. Yeah, they're core right now. I think it's Parker Medo or excuse me, I think it's cold Keith and Riley green. They know they're going to be there. Yeah. Two people can't make a winning base. That's two nose, baby Jesus. Uh, yeah, I'm on the know as well. Like we don't have enough. And honestly, can we just stop bringing up Torkelson for a while? Like he is nowhere near the conversation of being in this core. He is a 737 OPS and AAA. That's not even major league average in AAA. Like how do you think he's going to come back up here and just magically learn how to hit a fast? He's part of the conversation though. As bad as he's been. You know, he's Torkelson. You know who's he what core he's part of. He's going to be out there with the little singing hot dog. Does he still even do that? He doesn't do that. I'm not bullish on Torkelson, but he's still being evaluated. Bro, how can you be bullish on somebody who can't hit? I'm not bullish. I don't think it's going to work, but few people in this world have 30 home runs in the major league, you know, I don't know if you can right now, pardon? You sound like Neil Ruh right now. The 30 home runs way too optimistic. Wait, what are you hit 30 home runs in bat 175? No, that's dumb. So it's in there. I don't know if he's ever going to do that again. He doesn't hit for average. Something was way off this year. And even his good stretches are only like two months of the season. He's so broken. There's good in him. I don't think it's going to work out, but he's still being evaluated. Don't get me wrong. Yeah. I've been dog million there. There's the core there. No, not yet. Half of it is. I think Colke Keith and Riley Green are part of the core, but the rest is not there. How come nobody mentioned school was part of the core? Because y'all look contrary to my trainer, but I did say he is part of the core. If he stays, I did say that. Okay. Last time I checked, he hasn't been traded, right? Just let's check the AP wire of the team. So, so what you're saying is in a resounding way that what I'm trying to get that, get that is that Tigers have said when our core is in place, we will spend, you're giving them excuses not to spend. The score is not in place. Not necessarily because Scott Harris, he didn't draft any of these guys. These are all Alavilla guys. This is why they needed an assessment year to really see what the hell we really have here because they're not going to keep going forward with these Alavilla guys. Like I think Torkelson is done. If he doesn't get back up here by September, he's done. What are you? What are you still trying to make it work with him for? Um, you have a lot of guys that that are coming up the Parker Metals of the world. Yes, he did look good when he came back, but he got hurt. We see the jury still out on him. There's a lot of players that we just don't know about yet. So I can't blame them for not spending money on top of these prospects. And there's people in the comments right now saying that we should trade torque. He has zero value to anyone. Like literally like no one wants him. Yeah. I love people say, Oh, this guy really sucks. Let's trade him. The other team is like, yeah, he really sucks. We don't want him. Who's going to trade for Spencer? Not just him by himself. He would have to be packaged within a deal. That's the only way you're you're getting it. You want to do? I mean, shit, drive down the price of trade. I got the perfect trade. How about uh, Spencer Torkelson? Okay. And hobby bias. Oh, hang up the phone for one. He's just for the railroad junior. Hey, hang up that. Click that. And I really do not bring that up because in a earlier life, when I was young, like you guys, the one phone call we always got was why not to trade Lindsey Hunter and Terry Mills for David Robinson or Larry, uh, Terry Mills and Lindsey Hunter for Tim Duncan. Yeah. It's not not going to happen. Not going to happen. That's why I bring up the silly couch. So how are you finding out what your core like? What is the path to the core shoot path? What's the route to the core? You know, you're not they're not coming via free agency. Yeah. I think the core if there's ever going to be a core is going to be four or five guys that the Tigers develop and they're actually in the everyday lineup. And they're hitting the baseball pretty well. But but prospect like they're they're currently prospects. No, they're currently young. How about this? Young guys within the Tigers system. Riley Green would qualify. Yeah. Um, so yeah, but he's on the Major League roster. Coke, would qualify. But that core is in the system right now. Then the system right now. That's what I think the core is going to be because the Tigers are not going to sign or trade for other core players who are going to be core players in the next year or two. And so if you believe it, that's the perfect reason to stay the course with the team now and add veteran bats as those guys as your developing core emerges as that core at the Major League level. That's that's what Scott Harris should be telling Chris Hills. Hey, we got our guys already down in single a double even in triple a like all we're just a couple pieces away. Even if it's not all in next year, give us a little something so we can compete next year and then go for it the year after that. So if that's your take, then you should be going the route that you want. Don't trade school bowl and continue building around a billion relies on it. Let's just spend and there's lots of love in the chad. I'm seeing him for Kerry Carpenter because I don't think anyone named him, but if he's healthy, what has to realize is that David Wright retired from this injury and you already see Kerry Carpenter being out for more time than he was allotted when originally slot on the DL. You have to respect that he might not ever come back, which is the harsh scenario, but you can't be banking on something that isn't a sure thing in this league because when you do that, you wind up with guys who aren't fit to fill his role on this roster. And that's a position you don't want to be in as an MBA organization, having a complete hole in your outfield. I totally agree with that. All right. Coming up next, all you guys will know how many games of pissing is going to win. Oh, God. This guy's going to tell you. Oh, God. That is a great net. What we got, Spidey. Tell us about Lady James, Kidgy. All right, Lady James, man. I just shoot him. And I'd be in jail. If you see a white man with that kind of flittle, yeah, you probably just need to just pour the guy out, man. But I am your boy, KG, man. Here, of course, with the incomparable Terry Foster, Justin in the sound booth. We got spinny AKA broadcaster six in the TD booth and Broder in the MASH chair. Little bit of, you know, we're the main kind of reunion going on here, man. But next week, we got to get into the pistons, man. Some really going on right now. The young guys, I mean, they're showing a little bit of promise. There seems to be a lot of good talk around what the pistons have done this off season. Terry, take it away. Be careful. Please be careful. Oh, of course. Summer league. Of course. But sometimes you can tell things about summer league. Yeah. The one that I nailed was, I was summer league when Stanley Johnson was a rookie. Oh, wow. You had a big one. And I saw I said, man, this dude can't play. Yeah. That was good. But I was told by no, no, no, tea. Don't say it. Don't say it because sometimes guys are struggling summer league and they kick it off and training camp. Never happened. Nah. He was never just a good offensive player, man. And nor did we have the development to really bring him up. You talk so much shit. Yeah. If you just close your eyes and listen to him, you say this dude is going to be maybe not rookie of the year, but he's going to make the rookie team. Yeah. When she did not. Yeah. Far from it. He had a lot of confidence in himself. I'm going to give you a magic number people. Okay. 32. And what is that you ask? That's how many games the Pistons are going to win this year. And I know you're probably going to whoa, how you going from 14 to 32? There's a few factors going on. And I'll admit a couple of them. I'm going to guesstimate or put a leap of faith where it probably doesn't belong. But one, you got a head coach who actually wants to be here. Yeah. So that should get you 10 wins. Check. I'm going to put my leap of faith. That do you see the movie Arthur? No. Oh, man. I don't think so. Have you seen the movie Arthur? It's an old one. He's a little care. He's like a duddly more. Yeah. Is the drunk guy and laughs all that? I think so. Okay. I'm going to bet that aren't telling an Arthur who owns the Pistons are going to stay out of the way. Yeah. They're their new president and general manager. That's factored into your record production. Now I could be wrong on that. What? You have all this hope Terry. Right. You're looking cute. All right. Hey, I'll take it. Yes, I'm being cute. I'm putting a leap of faith. They're going to stay out of land this way. And so that's two, three, you're not going to start killing Hayes for one game this year. Yeah. Killing Hayes. Can't get in the building. I heard they got a picture of killing Hayes, even if he buys a ticket, he can't get until it's just a wanted post the rough. It is a wanted post. Oh, yeah, the hell out of our building. Because he he could be like that guy on the Flintstone schlep rock. It's just bringing bad luck. He could come to the open trials for the new big three. Yeah. Right team killing Hayes and get involved. I don't even know if I want to be on. He'd be the fourth dude on that team. I don't think you would make the team. Right. So I'm going with 32. Bickerstaff is going to teach defense. Yeah. When you look at the Summer League team, even though Summer League and I said it and don't put too much into it, those fellas at least trying to play defense. So I think what the Pistons are parlaying on onto their Summer League team is going to go onto their regular season team. They're going to try to play defense. They're not going to watch guys go by. And I remember I forget who it was. It wasn't LeBron. It was somebody lesser than LeBron, but they took the ball all the way up the court. And two Pistons were in the lane saying, "Damn, that dude sure is fast." Then they guard him. He not only dunked, but he hung over. There's two Pistons in the lane. And everybody just looked at it. "Man, he looks good." Those days are done. Yeah. Done. I would be in a green switch, you Terry. I'm kind of growing tired of the O because they won 14 wins thing. There's no possible way that 30 plus is possible. Like you said, bringing in this new regime, I really liked the JB Bickerstaff higher. I was a little leery of it at first, but he seems like the perfect coach to be able to get this young talent over the hump, you know, and essentially, like not in terms of like, you know, real playoff success. But he can make him a playing team. And fairly quickly, I believe, you look at Fred Vincent, the shooting coach they brought in, you look at Luke Walton now being added to the staff. I really like where they're going with this staff. They have a track record of being able to develop young talent. I think he's going to work wonders with Jalen Duren as far as making him more of a defensive big and things of that nature. You look at the pieces they brought in and while not sexy to buy his Harris, he's going to come in and contribute. He's a 17 to 18 point of game guy. He's going to space the floor 4k Cunningham. You look at Tim Hardaway Jr. Another good fit next to K that can shoot. They seem to have fixed the floor spacing issues with this team. Now, will they be perfect? No, but I do expect a big improvement from that. And just the young guys, man, Ron Holland, I'm still not completely sold on him. But I like the fact that he has an all around game. He can't shoot, which is the biggest, biggest problem, but they can't work on that. And not always want to say booby for some reason. Bobby Clintman. His summer like movie that I know, right? His name is a set up, man. But Bobby Clintman, man, what he's done in summer league so far has shown me that he can come in and contribute with his three point, you know, shot. Maybe he can help them defensively as well. Not saying he'll be a great two way player or anything, but he'll be able to contribute as well with when you look at all of that, the Pistons were never supposed to be 14 win bad. Like, yes, we expected them. Nobody is right. Exactly. We expected them to be normal bad. Like around 20, you know, 25, maybe 30 win bad, but it was never supposed to be as bad as it was last year. 14 games you have to work at it. Seriously. I don't want to teach you something about me today. All right. Now, and then my bunion starts to hurt. Oh, God. To this, the last two weeks, my bunion has been hurting because I'm baby, but it's, um, it's a premonition. That's it. That booby Clintman is actually going to be good. That booby is tonight, booby. Yeah, I know a common booby that I think he's going to be a contributor for the Pistons this year. Okay. And why do you think that is it? Just just what you've seen. It's just it's literally just the bunion. That's it. It's just the bunion. I don't have anything. It's like on the Palm's edge. I just looked at this dude. I said, this looks like a player. And now he's showing a little bit in summer league. I'll admit it. It's summer league, but he looks like he can do something. Yeah. So, and I definitely want to go to a spinny on this because spinny has been somebody that is outright just not believed in anything the Pistons have done. He's lost his pulse. Um, I got to check in what you spend with everything that they've done so far as far as hiring staff and what you've seen out of the young players so far in the additions that they made. How do you feel about the Pistons at this point? I feel better about the Pistons at this point. I like, I think their roster is vastly improved from what it was. Like Tobias Harris, you got him on a decent deal to bring him in here. That's a stretch for. He's going to be a guy. He's an NBA player who can knock down threes. Malik Beasley should be your starting to next year. He's an NBA player who can knock down threes and defend. You got Tim Hardaway Jr. Him coming off the bench, another guy who can knock down threes. Like these are important players going forward. And I do see some improvement under the new coaches with JB Bickerstaff. I think having a guy that is not self sabotaging himself and the team because he doesn't want to be here anymore is going to be a big improvement. And adding Fred Vincent is definitely going to be a big improvement for the shooting aspect of the ball. Would you look at us or Thompson and Ron Holland and Jade and Ivy and different players like that, their shooting is going to improve under Fred Vincent's two. I got the critical question for you, bro. Hammer. Yeah. Does Arthur AKA Tom Gores in arm telling stay out of Traging Landon's way? I hope so. I hope so. I don't hope. I don't know. I think I'll stay out of his way. They're going to let him do his job. I think so. Okay. I think I think they will because this is the kind of move that that says, like, all right, it didn't work out when we had six guys trying to make all the decisions last year with Troy Weaver and the tellums and Casey and all these guys kind of putting, you know, budding heads and making decisions that at the end of it, Gores just comes in and says, no, we're going to do this because I pay the bills. So hopefully they sit back. Traging Landon is a smart guy. He's a great basketball mind and let him cook. The only thing I was worried about is they won't let him do it. But with the draft process and with the players he picked, those looked like two Traging Landon picks and not Tom Gores. Here's the thing that scared me. One quote came from Tom Gores and he was sober when he said it. He said, if Traging Landon wants me to mentor him, I'm here. What the hell are you going to mentor him? I mean, pretty much nothing, man. But it's funny you brought up Tom Gores because I was encouraged by the fact that he took some accountability in this thing. He said, yeah, you know, this is the most present I've been with the Pistons like probably ever, man. And when he brought Traging up at the press conference, well, he wasn't involved. That was the R and tell him show last year. We all know that. But when he brought up Traging, he kept saying CEO. He wanted one person to be able to run the whole operation essentially. And by all accounts, it does appear like the Traging Landon show so far. Like everything he said at the podium, he's hung true to everything, maybe besides like trading for a bad contract, he's done everything else. When he was honest with you, he took a page out of Dan Campbell's book. He said, hey, draft picks, their agents are telling, you know, that telling their players not to come here. You know, he told us this. So I mean, it does appear, at least from the outset, that aren't telling won't be in the way in the fact that he'll be making basketball decisions. I do think this is the Traging show going forward. Do you know why I think it's the Landon show so far? Why? He's doing stuff. They never would have thought of doing. Yeah. So that's why. So fingers crossed. And hopefully, when this is all done, we can all be cute. That's all you can do is hope, man. But I mean, the Pistons, I do have faith that at least they can get close to 30 wins. Even if they don't touch 30, I do need to see at least a 10 win improvement from this team in order to really feel safe about the direction going forward. But we got to go to break, man. When we get back, what you want to talk about, Terry, you know, you up here, you driving the shit, what you want to talk about telling you, I'm going to tell you why a local coach will not win coach of the year in the NFL. And Terry, before we went to break, man, you teased something that might upset some people. Dan Campbell will not win Coach of the Year in the NFL. Well, call the car can't fix you. I don't know why. Coach of the Year in every sport is the stupidest award that you can give out. They don't give it to the best coach that year. They don't give it to the guy that got the most out of his team. They don't give it to the guy that won his division or took his team to the Super Bowl. They give it to the guy whose team had the most improvement in games. Now, there's not going to be that big of a gap for the Lions this year. Yeah. So he won't win Coach of the Year and we might be sitting here saying he deserves it. And I'll be up here saying he ain't gonna get it, folks. If he was going to win Coach of the Year, it would have been last year. Yeah. But he didn't get it last year, so he can't win it. Yeah. Like Bill Belichick, I think he's on the coach of the Year once. Right. And they say, well, it's the best coach in the NFL. It's just a dumb award. Yeah. And I kind of agree with you here, man. If they weren't going to give it today in Campbell, absolutely it would have been last year when you look at the success that they had. And the coach of the Year award is more like a story-driven award. How big is your story? You know, it's kind of like the MVP popularity contest, but you look at what the Lions did coming from 2022 finishing the season 9 and 8 to this past year, 12 and 5, not only did they win the division, not only did they make the playoffs, they won two playoff games and were a 17-point lead at a 17-point lead in the NFC Championship game. So if he didn't get it last year, you know, I really don't see him getting it, you know, from this point forward. But is he a coach that's deserving of that? Absolutely. But to your point, I don't think he'll get it just based off of the window is already kind of closed on that. Right. Absolutely. And is he a, and this is a question that I've asked it two years ago. Everybody wouldn't laugh. Ha, ha, ha, ha. What's wrong with you? It was Dan Campbell, top 10 coach in the NFL now. I don't think that's funny anymore. You can make an argument that he is. Colin Coward said he is not. This is Colin Coward's top top 10 NFL head coaches. All right. Jim Harbaugh is not on the list. He's right. It's top five is Andy Reid, Sean McVeigh, John Harbaugh, Sean Payton, a joke, and Mike Tomlin. And then at six, he's got Kyle Shanahan, Matt LaFloor, Kevin Stafanski, Sean McDermott, and D'Amico Ryan. The hell is Stafanski done? I mean, he was coaching here last year. Kevin Stafanski's definitely a top 10 coach. Yeah. Anybody should be a top 10 coach. If you can get the Lions to win 10 games a week and two playoff games. Yeah. You would think so, man. But when I look at this list and Spiny, can you flash the list one more time just so I can look? I'm not mad at the names on this list per se, but when I'm looking at Sean Payton, Sean Payton for is crazy. It's crazy to me because yes, he does have the track record, but as far as recency bias, he hasn't done anything, man, except ostracized Russell Wilson and ship him off. But him being on the list is kind of sketchy to me. Sean McDermott at nine. I do understand Sean McDermott is a good coach, but what what happens to the bills every year? They choke. They choke. They get bounced into playoffs and they just have not gotten over the hump. And now it's to the point where I feel like the bills window has closed, man. So and you know what we hear about the bills there is? This is their year. Yep. This is their year and he can't get them through the playoffs. Yeah, there's something wrong with the coaching staff. They lost a lot on that team this year. He kind of ran off Stefan Dix. He, you know, they tried to make it work for one more year. He couldn't do it, man. The offense, I just I don't know, man. I don't see Sean McDermott being on this list. But if you were to put Dan Campbell on this list, who would you take out, Terry? Let me pick on another Sean, Sean McDermott. Okay. Sean McDermott is a very good coach, solid ball. Here's all I know. Sean McDermott couldn't figure out Jared Goff, but Dan Campbell could. Sean McDermott gave up on Jared Goff, but Dan Campbell didn't. That's facts. But he also got Matt Stafford and won the Super Bowl the very next year. I wouldn't say. Yeah. What? He took them to a super. But did he have Matt Millen as his general manager? He did not. Did he have a what's the other goofball? Do you know Martin Mayhew? Martin Mayhew. Bob Quinn. Bob Quinn. Is his general manager? No, did not. He did not. Okay. So if you're gonna come down on Matthew Stafford a lot heavy, I'm gonna say, just look at the general managers he had the quarterback under. That's true. How are you gonna win anything? That's true. Plus the Lions still, you know, we were Lions free and same old lines. You have to go through all that. You have to get rid of all that garbage. That is right. People around the league don't understand. The Lions have been mismanaged for decades. But you can argue they had back to back to the worst general managers in NFL history. Yeah, I'm not necessarily mad at that argument. And when I talk about Matt Stafford, I always bring up the caveats because they were there. This was not a perfect organization. Like if Stafford had a had Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes, maybe things would have looked a lot different for the Lions during those 20 years. He wouldn't have bailed out. Yeah, he probably wouldn't have. He probably wouldn't have. But to me, Dan Campbell, a coach that has improved every single year. And I know that I've been critical of maybe some of the decisions he makes, you know, in the heat of the moment, sometimes he coaches out of emotion, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But I just want him to be a little bit wiser when it comes to stuff like that. But to not have him in at least 10 in the top 10, I think that's kind of blasphemy at this point. Maybe he's not top 10 because he does make these hairbrained decisions. I mean, that's what's keeping them out. The fourth Dallas have worked. If you look at the numbers, they have worked over 50%. They have, but they didn't work in the big game. That is true. But I mean, not necessarily his fault. Right. But here's why he's going to be a top 10 coach after this year, even with Colin, Howard and all these other guys. Because I think the league is gravitating towards Dan Campbell. Yeah. They're going for 4,000 more often than they used to. And I think that's because of Dan Campbell. That is factual. They're gambling more. And I think that's because of Dan Campbell. And even though he may have a kicker this year, I still think he's going to be out there because that's who he is. Yeah. It by no means am I saying change who you are. That's what got us here. That's what's made this team better. But just now that you have better talent on this team, and maybe like you said, a reliable long range kicker, then maybe you don't always have to go for it. But he's still going to, you know, you know why I think so. I found out Dan Campbell's crazy because of a cup of coffee. When he was talking about the extra espresso shots, he puts in his coffin. He went, I said, this dude is nuts. Yeah. This dude is out there. You're never going to reel him in. But he's not nuts from the standpoint that he doesn't know what he's doing. Stop being cute. No, it's not that. But I'm just going off for what the NFL has told us about Dan Campbell up to this point and why I feel like this is kind of disrespectful because every year, well, I won't say every year that they kind of gave him love last year, but those years leading up to last year, it was all Dan Campbell. He kind of portrays himself as a meat head. Oh, he's a wrestler. Oh, he doesn't know what he's doing. He's wild. Look at it. Look at all these fourth down calls. And when they don't work, they love to point to that. But to me, Dan Campbell, he plays the analytics. I think people don't realize that about Dan Campbell. He's smarter than he lets on. He plays the analytics. He was in charge of this offense and he identified Ben Johnson to be the one to take this offense going forward. And so far, so good. Like he is probably the best offensive coordinator in the league. So I just feel like he doesn't get enough respect for the things he has done. When it came time for him to make those hard decisions, getting rid of his his friend in Anthony Len in the first year, firing all brie pleasant, you know, instead of maybe getting rid of Aaron Glenn or something like that, like he got junior exactly why he's made tough decisions and came out on the other side looking even better than before. So that's just what I feel they don't show enough respect to Dan Campbell for. Right. And then with Ben Johnson, you know, they slipping him money under the table. Good. Yeah, because whatever it takes for real on a car, you know, right, whatever you want, all the four of you want somebody, you know, when somebody says we have a head coaching position, Ben Johnson said, yeah, I'll take it for $55 million a year. So he takes himself out of it because he getting something here from the lines, which is great. And I think he just believes in what's going on here. He doesn't want to jump into a bad coaching situation just so he can be named a head coach. I think he really believes in the vision and everything that they've done to this point and really believes that with, you know, him at the helm, they can get to a Super Bowl. And we damn near saw that this past year, man. So I just hope that they can continue to build upon that and get this thing done, man. The fans deserve it. And he's not choosing to come back if he's got the number 15 NFL head coach that he's got to be the ocean, of course, Campbell should be higher. And I think this person, the coach I'm about to name should be on the top 10 where he is. He's better than some other coaches on the list. But De Mico Ryan, like, yeah, I love him. I think he's a fantastic coach. What has he done to be named over Dan Campbell? Nothing. Nothing. It's just too small of a sample size. He's done some great things in his one year with Houston. But like that's when I was like, okay, Dan Campbell should at least be a head of him. And if you want to get granular, Dan Campbell won one more playoff game than De Mico Ryan's, man. So I'm just saying, man, but of course, we have to go to break. But coming back, what you want to talk about Terry Foster show, man, I'm just I'm just along for the ride. Well, I'm glad you're thinking that way, which you should be. Yes. But tell you what, what? Let's talk lines defense. Okay, sound 10 defense. Maybe maybe. But what we got Spimmo. This is your boy KG with the legendary Foster Justin in the sound booth and of course the illustrious broadcaster six in the TD booth, formerly known as Spencer Raxter. And before we went to break UTs that we were going to talk about the Lions defense. Yes, possibly being a top 10 defense, which I'm not quite sure if they're there, but they have something that I really like. And what is that? You can't have 11 guys who are personality-wise. You're just quiet. Yeah. Or they just whatever you bring their way there. They're okay. Cheerio Arnold, he's a rookie. But this dude brings attitude. Yeah, talk about it. And I never believe that a defense could be good without at least one or two dudes with attitude. Nah, most definitely, especially in that secondary room, man. But when you just look at and how they attack the defense this all season, man. Brad, I'm almost at Brad Campbell. Brad Holmes, he identified that, yes, this secondary was the reason we got torched into playoffs like we did in that game, man. And also the interior defensive line, that was the issue. They went in and dressed that in the draft and free agency. They hired a new coach. You have Terrell Williams, maybe the best defensive line coach in the NFL. Now, under your staff, you have the Shea Townsend who has a good track record with developing young corners in this league. I just look at everything that they did. And in terms of player acquisition, you got a meek Robertson, you got Terrell Arnold, you doubled up and got in East rate straw. You still got my man coming back from injury. Always forget his name. Daniel Mosley? Yeah, Emmanuel Mosley. You still have him maybe coming back. Brian Brent's still in that room as well. What they've done in the secondary has like been mind-blowing. And I know it's on the, you're relying on a lot of rookies and a lot of young players to make an impact. But when you make the kind of change that they made, I think we will definitely see the dividends of that towards the end of the season and getting into the playoffs. See, I think the guy that really benefits by this is Brian Branch. Yeah, Brian Branch is a thumper. Brian Brent, not a big guy, but he makes you pay. Yeah. And so I could see him in that DB room shaking his head. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's go get him. Let's, yeah, let's go murder him. Do you see him as still a nickel corner? Do you think he plays more safety this year? You know what? I want him close to the ball. So if it were me, I'm not going to tell you what I see him in. If it me, I want him at nickel corner because I know at some point he's going to be on the line of scrimmage. He's going to pop the hell out of somebody. Big facts. So I would have him at nickel. Safety is probably a more important position. But I think the way he plays, if he's at nickel, he's closer to the ball, he's going to get somebody off the football up. And now you can't really do that as a safety. Now back in the day when I was a young whipper snapper like you, they used to let safety just pop the snot out of people, right? It really comes now. Yeah, now's a throw the flag on you hit him too hard. Yeah. Yeah. Come on now. It's football. But yeah, but I mean, I definitely agree with what you got going on. And of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Kirby Joseph and if he in that safety room as well. So they seem well solidified in the secondary. But I also have to go to the defensive line. This is where I feel we'll see the most improvement actually. You look, they added DJ reader. They drafted Mackay Wingo. You're going to get a chance to actually see Broderick Martin in action this year, man. And when you add in a healthy James Houston, a healthy Josh Pascal, I feel like this defensive line can can take big leaps and big jumps from what they were previously. You know, I'm hoping Braddock Martin can move offensive lineman like you had that big plow. Yeah, man. You see that, man, this this he has transformed his body man. Last year, he had a gut, man. Like he is like lean and mean this year, man. That thing was pushing that to be like 1500 pounds. Yeah, trailer carrying a TV on the back of a trailer. That's nuts, man. And then you saw Montgomery benching, not benching, but oh yeah, doing the deadlift. The press 730. Braddock said that ain't the best thing in the world to be to be, you know, talking about. But it does show how strong he is. I mean, man, it's a man shot. Other other backs are doing it. Now they're starting to put their stuff online. So I must say, yeah, then something I feel you. But but when you look at this defensive line, what do you expect to see out of the defensive line? Do you think the addition, the DJ reader will help putch us in? What do you what do you just feel it just in terms of like what it how it is as a symbol? I like the addition to reader from from this standpoint. When Hutchinson is chasing somebody to the left to the right of wherever he's going to be on that. And then they come back because this will happen. This happened a lot times last year. They were able to go all the way back to the other side of the field and then throw some passes. Yeah, I think if he gets around Hutchinson, readers going to be there and say, where you going, bro? Yeah, I got you. Yeah. So, um, we forget about how important the internal pass rush is. It's more important in today's football than it was back in the day when I was a young whipper slapper snapper like you. Yeah. If you didn't get it from the edge, you didn't get quarterback snap sets. Yeah. Now you can get an interior more than you could back then. And, um, so I think reader is going to play a huge, huge role. Yeah. And it's going to be because Hutchinson's got that motor. He does chase you to the left. And then once he's like a shark and is bringing back to the middle, readers going to be right there and give you a nice big bear hug. Yeah, man. Definitely. And DJ reader, although he's not the prototypical pass rushing interior defensive lineman, he can make an impact in that area, but he takes up two blocking assignments. I mean, the guy is just he's an absolute beast. And when you look at what he did for Trey Hendricks and in Cincinnati, Hutch could easily be a with that motor on him, a 15 sack guy every season in the regular season. So I really like the addition of DJ reader. Of course, Eileen McNeil. Now, if you're talking about pass rushing interior defensive lineman, you put those two together, man. Yeah. And I think DJ reader not only will work wonders for Hutch, but you look at Eileen McNeil, man, this guy would have had even more sacks if he hadn't gone down with injury in the middle of last year. Um, he had five, I think, to finish off the season. He could have easily got to eight, but with a DJ reader there and him improving in the pass rush, what are your feelings about Eileen McNeil? It may be improving. Here's the thing I forget about Eileen McNeil. He a young fella. He is. And the reason I forget that is because when I talk to him, I think I'm talking to like, um, 12 year vet. Yeah. So I look at him and saw this, this brother must be 32, 33 years old and he's not. That's a good thing. All right. Yeah. It's a great thing. So he understands things. DJ reader understands that. So you have professionalism in the middle of that line, which is very important. Yes. And I think the way it's going to be portrayed is that Hutchinson is bringing these guys along, but in reality, it will be reader, more reader than McNeil teaching Hutchinson how to be more professional. Yeah. And Hutchinson is going to benefit. Absolutely. Because he's got pros around. And he's already got all the tools that indicate he's an elite pass rusher in this league. We just need to see a little, little bit more. Shout out to flannel man, but do you have any thoughts on the opposite side of hutch, man? They added Marcus Davenport who for all intensive purposes seems like a good pass rusher when he is on the field. Of course, that's the biggest question mark. If he can stay on the field, you have James Houston returning who he came back toward the end of the last year in the playoffs. We didn't really get to call his name a lot, but he has a whole off season now and a whole training camp. And of course, Josh Pascal, the guy dealt with foot cancer and you know, some other nagging injuries as well. He's coming back healthy as well. Do you expect anything out of the other side of that defensive side? Well, you got three guys competing over there, but Houston scares me. Yeah, because in a good way or a bad way. Bad way. Oh, God. In the bad way, because talk about it. We kept hearing he's coming back this week. He's coming back. And I know he's not. And then we said, well, the rehab is going well. No, it's not. So a lot of times when you hear stuff like that, you assume, well, he's got the whole off season. He'll be back. Those things linger. That's true. They linger sometimes. So, I don't like the trajectory. I can't even say the word James Houston. It scares me. Yeah. And it's mostly about, is he going to be healthy? Yeah. And I do agree with that. There is a level of concern there because I mean, what he did his rookie season, it was amazing, but that's hard to just duplicate. I mean, eight sacks in nine games or whatever it was. There's not something just like you can just do easily like that. But in the type of injury have, you know, he has that bend to where he can get around tackles pretty easily. When you have the kind of injury that he had, you do wonder, is that Ben still there? But I'm confident that I see the champion. The bad did have foot cancer, though. We gotta just call it what it is, man. But yeah, man, but you do hope that he can come back right, man. But all in all this lion's defense, man, do you think they can get to a top 10? Yes. And I think they're going to be borderline. And I'm talking about that nine to 12 range, which is, you know, so yeah, I think they can. One, you've got attitude in the dressing room now. You've got help for Hutch. Arnold, I know he's going to struggle this year, but I'm looking at him that his attitude and the way he plays. Have you seen the video of his workouts? Yes. It was a monster. Insane, man. Right. He's a bama kid, man. Yeah. That's what I like about him too. Bama. Yeah. But I think he's going to filter down to the rest of those DBs. And I mean, that could hit the whole defense, man. I love his attitude. And a lot of times you need someone that's going to pump up a defense because defense is mostly reactionary. Yeah. And when you get a football team, your crazy dudes are on defense. I said, okay, I don't want to deal with this, brother. He's right way out there. And normally playing defense. And I think he's going to be that guy. I agree. I agree, man. But we got to go to break right now. Coming back. T. Fos, what you want to talk about, man? Will the lions be a little bit complacent? This season. That's a good question. I got the answer for you. All right, man. And we will be back. But spend more what we got. But I mean, it's essentially foot cancer. But that's neither here nor there. Before we went to break, man, you teased are the lions going to be complacent this season. So the only thing complacency could stop the lines but it's not. They're not going to be complacent. Maybe the only thing I'm going to correct myself, but maybe the only thing that could stop them is a rash of injuries. Yeah. But complacency, that should be the least of their worries. Now they're in position for that to be a factor and it could be with most teams because they've overachieved and no matter what they say, they are the hunted now. Absolutely. They're not hunting like they were before. And so there is a human nature to let down a little bit, but I just think Dan Campbell's not going to allow it. I don't know. Hold on. Go ahead, Justin. I think we're still hunting. I mean, I don't think this team satisfied. You see what they say in the media and yeah, talk his talk and they got to walk the walk. But at the end of the day, there are teams on this team's hit list that they are hunting. They're hunting the Packers. They're hunting the 49ers. They're hunting the chiefs, even though they beat them last year, there are teams out there that they are 100% going after. They need to beat them this year. Dallas, like there are, they are not the, I would not say, I'd say they are getting hunted, but they, they're just as much the hunters as they are getting hunted themselves. I kind of like that take, Justin, because yes, the lions, although they had an amazing season last year, they haven't really done anything in the grand scheme of things. Like, yes, they finally got that division title. They did get that playoff win off their back. But in terms of just like, you know, what they need to do, they still have a long ways to go, man. But like you said, injuries are the really the only thing that I can see that can stop the lions. When you brought up complacency, that didn't even register like in my mind, man, because there is no way in hell. Dan Campbell in a GM like Brad Holmes is going to let this team be complacent, man. And you can believe me, or you can just look at what they've done every year, like success normally isn't linear, but it has been with the lions, man, going from one in six to finishing nine and eight, three and 13 the year before that 12 and five this year. And will we win a super road this year? Still yet to be seen, but everything indicates to me that this team is hungry. They know what they need to do. And they've said it from the top down. You've heard Sheila say Super Bowl. You've heard Brad Holmes say Super Bowl, Dan Campbell, some of the players, Super Bowl, Super Bowl, Super Bowl, Super Bowl. They are in their window right now. Something the Lions organization was this word they were afraid to say for years. Yeah, that they're openly saying right before it's like, yeah, we can win some ball games or we can beat anybody. Yeah, but I tell you, my favorite Dan Campbell quote now over the kneecaps and all that stuff was, well, you know, Dan, you guys are going to be hunted by other teams. And he said, yeah, and we're going to be on the front porch waiting for him to come out. Right. I love that quote. Yeah. We're not going to be. You don't have to chase us. We're going to be right here so we can fight. No, and Dan Campbell, you know, he's one for making great quotes, man, but just everybody knows what the mission is, man. So I definitely can't see this team getting complacent. And even if you look at the young players, they're bringing in young, hungry players, man, players that want to achieve success, players that are used to winning on the college level that want to win on the big stage, man. So I just, I really look forward to what they are going to bring this year. Like I said, the injury is the only thing stopping this team. I can't see them just falling off a cliff. So spinny, what do you feel? Can the Lions actually be complacent? I don't think they will. And you guys mentioned Dan Campbell and you mentioned Brad Holmes, but also all of the other player coaches, all of the guys who have been there before and done it before, they have Super Bowl experience on this team. They know what it means to be at the top of the mountain. They know what it means to have expectations as a player and as a coach in the NFL. So I don't think they're going to let these guys get complacent. I don't think they're going to let these guys be like, all right, we want a division. We want a couple playoff games. That's good enough for Detroit. That's good enough for us. Now they have the expectations of being a big dog, of being a team that's going to consistently compete for Super Bowls throughout their tenure here. So I think they're in the right mindset. And I don't think they'll get a question. You notice the first rookie they brought in was a yapper. Yeah. Yeah. Arnold is a yapper. He sees in places in that DB room. He's not going to allow it. Oh, yeah. And I'm like, well, we talking this up. What's up? Yeah. And a veteran like Carleton Davis too. He's also somebody very confident in his abilities and rightfully so, man. At one point, he was a top 10 corner in this league, man. Like last year, he took a step back. But I have all confidence in the world that he will bounce back this year, especially with the additions that they made in the secondary. But one thing I did want to ask you that I feel like, you know, people aren't talking about, are there any concerns that you have for the Lions going forward? Like, what is one thing that you think the Lions still need to improve on even with everything that that has happened so far? I'm still not in love with the linebackers. I know Jack Campbell's getting all kinds of love and everything. I'm not convinced. Right. So I'm not convinced. But then that thing here, they pretty solid. I mean, on offense, you know, they got maybe the third second best tight end in NFL. I agree. You got, I mean, you got a Mon Ross, St. Brown. The dude is always open. Yeah. I mean, yeah, he doesn't make this spectacular play, but it's when it breaks up coverage is. Yeah. But when it's third and seven, I know they're going to go to St. Brown. Absolutely. He knows they're going to go to him. The other team knows that they're going to go to him. But guess what? Complete it for nine yards first down. Move those chains. Yeah. There's something magical about him. Absolutely, man. And don't get me started on the mind ride. What can you not say about the kid, man? But in terms of like weaknesses or things that I'm concerned about, I still worry about the other side of that defensive line. Just based off of health, man. And I hate to keep bringing up Marcus Davenport and the health. But this is a guy who has had multiple multiple surgeries over his career, man. Last year, only played four games, I believe. So I really would like to see him stay healthy, stay on the field. Because like I said, if he's on the field, he's the type of speed rusher off that edge that the Lions can really benefit from, man. And then you look at James Houston. Of course, he didn't look so great once he actually got back last season. But I am confident with a full training camp this year that he can also be reliable in the backfield. But and just maybe, maybe I'm concerned about receiver because we want to see big things from Jmo. I have confidence in Jmo that he can take over. Of course, amirase Brown, Sam LaPorter, if you want to count him as a receiver. But who plays that number three role? And no offense to Kaleef Raymond, I think Kaleef Raymond is great. Can he be a consistent number three? We haven't seen him in that role. That was Josh Reynolds role last year. And he was kind of the four that they brought in for spot duty, but he was also a chain mover. Do you have any type of ill feelings about the receiver room at this point? I think Kaleef Raymond can fill that role. It's the number three receiver, which is important on this team because they spread the ball around. But you don't need Jerry Rice there. No, you don't. Okay. I think the thing that concerns me a little bit, or I want to see is Jmo has to be professional this year. Yeah. He can blow the top off an offense we keep hearing that within do it. Yeah. Do it on a consistent basis. You have to be more than a decoy this year. This is where if the lines are going to take that next step, if the lines are going to be that team that we call great, Jmo is going to have to fill an important role as facts. Yeah, he's going to have to be that guy. Yeah. I mean, they took him first round 12 overall for a reason. He was supposed to be the number one and or number two on this team. It appears he's going to be the number two this year. And to me, the biggest problem was they just weren't targeting him. And I don't know whether that was a chemistry problem with golf or whether that was just the way the offense was designed, but he's going to step into that role this year. And I have full confidence, especially when Dan Campbell comes out and says, hey, this kid has been the hardest worker all off season, man. And you see some of the OTA videos, him catching passes over Carlton Davis and things of that nature. I have full confidence Jmo here to here to play, man. But you know what we haven't seen. We haven't seen Jared Goff and Jmo and Maui or California just throwing passes. That's true. But that doesn't mean it has it happened. It doesn't mean it because we know it didn't happen the first three years. That's true. But there it was alluded to by Dan Campbell that around March some time, they may have gotten together and started working. So maybe maybe it's happened this year. But yeah, that plays a big factor as far as a quarterback and why I receive there's that trust. Yes. There's that I know I'm going to go right in the ball is going to be there. Damn right. So if that's happening, that's that's very important. Yeah, and that's going to be scary for defenses. But we about to go to break coming back. Is there anything else you want to talk about, Mr. Terry Foster? There is. The women on the Pepsi porch. Well, yeah, that's pretty important. And with the Tigers winning, I may actually go to the Pepsi porch. Hey, it might be might be popping man. They don't. Someone is up there. They don't. Do you ever go up there? No, I haven't been up there. I'm normally in the 100 level because I'm just sweet like this. But now you need to go to the Pepsi porch. Get yourself a couple beers. Okay. Check out the honeys and I heard they like brothers with dreads up there. Well, it's true. Well, I'm a married man. So shout out to my baby shy only, you know, T. Paul's trying to hit me up up here. No, I'm just saying you can window shop. No, of course, window shopping. Never heard nobody, man. Shout out. Shout out. 50, man. But what we got spent, Mom, tell us about Randy Wise. Welcome back to Big D energy. We in the home stretch now your boy KG up here with the legend Detroit legend Terry Foster, honored to do this show with you man. Grew up listening to you and I must be doing some right life, man. I'd have made it to the desk with a Detroit legend man. I thought today was a holiday. Did you? Yeah, because the only time you see black, you know, two black people doing the show together. It's like on Christmas day. All right. Thanks, given. That's the white folks don't want to wear the white folks. Damn, it's today a holiday or something. It should be man, because I had to work on Juneteenth and I appreciate that. Just just letting y'all know but should have given us the day off from Juneteenth next year, you finito out of here, man. Don't hit me up, not coming in. But who we are back on Big D energy. We got Justin dancing in the booth for some reason. We got broadcaster six in the TD booth, you know, you know, lining them up, man. It's been he think he slick, man. You got you got the reas as the kid say, man, but he over there lining it up. But T. Fosse, what did you want to talk about during this segment? We in the home stretch. We brought up Juneteenth. Something happened recently that upset me. Okay. There is a talk about the B Museum. There's an African place on Grand River and West Grand Boulevard. Okay. They tore some of it down. Really? Because they said it was a hazard to the community because the building collapsed and they they're afraid it was going to fall on people. Okay. But nobody walks on Grand River and West Grand Boulevard. Not really. Yeah. But the guy is African dude. I can't pronounce his name, but he has a million beads in there and all kinds of stuff. And I used to go there for Juneteenth. That's what's up. So do they have plans to maybe gentrify the location? Is there is our apartment building is going up? What's going on with that? No, that's they're not going to gentrify that. Okay. That's good. That's why I grew up. Oh, okay. Terry Foster put his foot down. It's not going to be gentrified. You know, I went to Harlem. That's been gentrified. Yeah. Well, I heard a lot of New York is like, yeah, it is not the same New York as it used to be, man. But what you gonna do, man? The people got the money. What you gonna do? Yeah, let them spend it. Well, it sounds like the tenants at your rental property sure know how to throw a great party. Yeah, exactly. They price everybody out. I take advantage of gentrification. In what ways? They're building some nice new restaurants and bars that are overcharging. No, that's true. That's where I go. Have you seen Six Mile and Living Noise and I? It's like a whole different place over there. I'm usually seven mile in Living Noise. Oh, okay. Okay. You know, I got robbed at that Coney. Yeah, the Nicki D's right there. Oh, yeah. I got robbed at that Coney at gunpoint five people. Well, I was with five people, five other people. But yeah, it was crazy night, man. Crazy night. Right across from Detroit. Good old Detroit. What are you doing at Nicki D's at night? Well, you know, we partaked in some of the green, you know, and me and my boys. We wanted to go get some food. It was like two in the morning. Nicki D's is always open. So we went in there and then I hate to say it, but my white homies. They went up to this guy, you know, asking the bi-week from him and he asked them how much and they was talking about buying a large amount. So he was like, all right, real quick. Let me go through the car. I'll be right back. Comes back. Pulls the gun on us. Yeah. I was gonna say, you're a brave dude. You hanging out with white guys. And I was hanging out with two white guys, the other three white guys on six mile and living on. Yeah, the other three were black. So we were at night. We were in good hands, but it was just like the timing of it all and just, you know, it was just a weird situation, man. They weren't like me type of white folk, right? They were a little bit. They're a little edgier to you, just a little bit. But you know, now I can see brothers like, like, I'm not gonna rob anybody tonight, but some white mugs over here. I'm robbing them. No, everybody got got, but the funny thing is I lost the least amount of everybody there. I used to valet my homeboy. He also used to valet. He did a job that night and he had all of the, you know, money from the job plus the tips. He had to give all that up. I only lost, I had DJ'd that night. So I only lost the $50 right off the top of my little stack of money I had. But yeah, it was just a weird night, man. Just you just regular old night in the city, man. Everybody I know that grew up with has been robbed at gunpoint at some point. You got to, if you stay here in Detroit, you're getting robbed at least once. I have not. No, now it's gonna happen next week now. Gonna say check it in or they don't even say that. Oh, it's Terry Foster, man. I can't say what up, bro. I have not been robbed at gunpoint. I've had a gun pointed on me, but not right, but now it was a good. Oh, okay. It's not fun. It's happened to me twice, actually. Yeah, I was scared. It's not not a fun experience, but you got into it with the cops, man. That's it. No, what happened was it was on Joy Road. There was a, I think it was an oil refinery, which I didn't know Detroit had an oil refinery, but there was this huge fire. And so we walked Joy Road to watch the flanks was at night. And so the police kept saying, step back, step back. Well, the fire was like three, four hundred yards away. So yeah, we were getting closer and stuff, but we were still 300 yards away. So this police officer said, I said, get back. This is my cock is done. Oh, yeah. And I just looked at it, but I said, but we kids, but we can, you know, I couldn't say we were just kids. I was scared. I said, we're right. Right. I said, we only we were like 10 or 11. Wow, cop a gun at some kids. Yeah, that's crazy. That's his country. Fuck that. Yeah. Yeah. That's where we at man. That is where we at. But we'll not enjoy that. Yeah. I can. And you know, the other thing is, uh, we know we had we can add to the list of black jobs. Co-hosting big D energy. Yeah, man. That's a black job, man. Don't don't give me a fun one too. Don't give me started on the black job thing, man. This whole this whole thing is crazy. I'm just leaving it at that. But are there any more sports topics that you wanted to touch on today? No, I'm good. We got a break and then we could do, uh, yeah, let's do it. Ask Terry Foster. I'm gonna say, you know, she can talk about the train station. Yeah. Or if you have any stories, you know, story time with Terry, man, I know a lot of people missed that. So if you have a story for it, yeah, I got some. Okay. Cool. You can grace us with that. But spending what we got. Let's go to break. Yeah. Do you remember the Jake from State Farm commercial? Of course. Yes. He's actually kind of hot shit right now. But yes, but there was one where someone's on the phone talking to Jake from State Farm and then the wife grabs a phone and says, Jake from State Farm, remember the commercial? Yeah. They said, well, I'm wearing khakis. Well, I have my Jake from State Farm moment. Uh oh. I want to hear about this one. I used to leave the bed with my wife like 1.32 in the morning. Okay. Just rating the fridge or something. No, I would go down to the basement to get on the phone. What you doing on the phone at two in the morning, Terry? She's thinking, I'm talking to some woman. So I'm on the phone and she said, she snuck down behind me. I'm on the phone. She said, are you talking to some bitch? And I said, yes. His name is Grant. Oh, God. So what? I used to talk to Grant Hill like at 1.32 in the morning. Okay. So I would go down there. Yeah. Because he could get away from Tamia and I could get away from Ab. So we were just talking about just about to say why 2.30 in the morning to talk to Grant Hill. You know, he'd be out and I like to sleep and I can't sleep at night. Yeah. So I just get up and so we were just talking. He would bitch about the persons and stuff. And then we just talk about stuff in life. So after a while, she was like, okay, he's talking to Grant. And so then one time, I'm going down there, we're talking and she sneaks down there and she said, so you talking to Grant again? I said, yes, when you're asked to bid, you only got nothing better to do at 1.30. I said, well, at least we're not out in the streets or something like that. It could have been worse. So she finally accepted it. Okay. But he got in trouble. He was talking and he said, I got to go. It's my wife. She's itching at me. So we're both like a little kids. Yeah. Because our wives got on our ass. That is crazy, man. Me personally, I don't care if you're a basketball star or not. I ain't talking to you at 2.30 in the morning, man. But I do get it, man. But we can open this up to ask T. Fox if you have more stories, you can gladly share them. But Mike G in the chat. As Terry, did you ever hook up with a white girl at Clutch Cargo back in the day? I've never been to Clutch Cargo. Oh, okay. That's more sticks. Sticks area. Yeah, that's true. I've had some days that I think they changed it to. No, Clutch Cargo, it used to be Tonic, right? Yeah. Yeah. So that when it was Tonic, I've had some days in Tonic. Right. See, I was never a nightclub dude. Okay. Is there a reason for that? Just not your scene? Yeah. The music is too loud when I'm going out and having, I want to talk to people. Yeah. Particularly when that big on the dance floor banging, bouncing off of people. You're all tight and everything. You can't really move. Yeah. So I was never into that. And plus, you know, everybody's trying to be so pretentious. And I'd rather go to a dive bar. I'm with you on there, Terry. Yeah. I'm just not into that whole scene. Do you know what I do for a living and all that kind of, well, my wife before she married me, yeah, she was at a nightclub. And so some dude was mad because she didn't go out with him. She's going out with me. Yeah. This mug shows up at the club. Wanted to dance her. He pulls out his paycheck to show him how much money he made. Oh my God. That's a nice one. Oh, shit. Right. Oh my goodness, man. I couldn't imagine that. But we have LFG in the chat. Did Terry ever go over the border and party in Mexico, I E. Suarez or T. Yeah, that was that. That was the sunbo. Oh, okay. What happened was. And I use the incorrect term. The sunbo people gave us escorts, but not the escorts that you think they were. Oh, okay. Yeah. You saw my eyes lit up. They were. How would I describe them? They were ambassadors. They call them ambassadors. So what happened is they hooked you up with a girl. And she's a cutie pie. Yeah. My cutie pie was we went to Suarez and we went to we went to a Mexican restaurant. I didn't know what was happening over there. So she showed me around and everything. And then we go to this bar and then we saw a something that's kind of gross. We saw for I think it was $10 or $5 each. A woman have sex with a donkey. Oh, right. Why are y'all watching a woman? Well, relations. Some dude says, Hey, do you want to see our show we have? Oh, no. I said, what is your show? He says, Tamia, Tamuka, whatever her name is, we have sex with the donkey and the girls with. Oh, no, that's gross. I don't want to do that. And I went, how many times are we going to be something like this? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. So I said, let's do it. And you convinced her to actually go watch this. She went. Yeah, she went. She was grossed out. Yeah, I could imagine. But not grossed out enough to leave me that. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And I was it at least a good show. It was a good show. And do you remember Drew Boudini sharp? He gave me the best piece of advice ever. So we go back. First of all, we went to the hospitality suite and they had like, they had to be like 50 to 75 big max and quarter pounders. Oh, shit. And then another 50 large fries. Okay. By the time we got there, all the burgers are cold, the fries are wilted and everything. We still ate them. Yeah. So we go back to the room. And I notice, you know, I'm getting a little vibe. I think something's going to happen. Okay. All right, you're going to get frisky. But I didn't like the way she smelled. That's all down. Was it was it fish fish fry? No, it wasn't fish fry. It wasn't B.O. She had the cheapest, nastiest. What perfume perfume ever made my eyes water. Yeah, that's a deal break. But I wanted to get with her anyway. So I called Boudini. That's a deep boot. He said, I got a prime. He says what? Because he was with his woman because he was paired on. That's it. I'm with this chick and like, you know, I think we something can happen here, but I can't take this perfume. It's so bad. I'm going to turn this down. He said, Oh, I got it. He's solution. Just take a shower with her. That's what I would. Right. So does it smell to be gone? Yeah, both be cleaned and boom. That's the best piece of advice I ever got. This is a man. That is wild. And on that note, I think it's time to wrap it up before this gets even more out of hand. But shout out to you, false man. I appreciate you doing the show, man. Sunbow. Yep. Right. And sharing your donkey story with us. Right. I'm going to get you to cover the sunbow. No, I'm good. I'll cover the sunbow. I'm good on that, man. But for T, false KG, Justin and the sound booth, appreciate you. Of course, B six, man. I'm, I'm you two famous team and look at it, but I appreciate you gracing us with your time. I do it. I care. This has been big D energy. We'll see you tomorrow.
