[music] Hello and welcome to the Hammer. I'm your host Dave. Join us always by my co-hosts. Greg has it going guys and Steve, hey. So it is Wednesday, June 1st, and we're going to talk about UFC 130 in the upcoming finale of the Ultimate Fighter. And you're listening to us live at 93.3CFMU. You can also find us at the web at thehammermma.com. And addictedmma.com. And the big new thing, this BixCloud.com, which is all over the iPhone. If you just look for the MMA, or UFC, or anything to do with UFC, you'll find us because our army keeps growing. Well, hopefully. [laughter] So let's start with a little bit of a review of UFC 130. Not the best fights I've ever seen, but a service-level card nonetheless. Quinton Jackson will have a decision over Matt Hamill. Matt Hamill looked like the fight went out of him in the first round when he could not take Quinton Jackson down. He just gave up. However, Jackson did not finish Hamill. He hit him with a whole bunch of body shots, but his hand was injured, and he just didn't go in for the kill. Did he say it was a fractured hand going into the fight? Apparently he heard it in training. Well, he says he heard it because he got drunk and was wrestling with his body as a benefit for Japan and elbow-dropping. Well, I guess that's kind of training. [laughter] So even with a fractured hand, he did pretty well. I thought Rampage looked pretty good, but Hamill was not game at all. That was actually for a main event. That was a pathetic performance. But he looked out matched completely. Matt Hamill, I think his entire mental state was, I'm going to get this another take down on him, and that's how I'm going to win. Has he never seen a Quinton Rampage Jackson fight? His whole game plan just collapsed like a jengen tower. You should have listened to the hammer last week, where he won't be able to take Rampage down. Yeah. Back up playing, dude. Back up playing. Yeah, well, but that's the thing. So many of these fighters, you know, if you're going to plan, don't plan for the fight. Plan for the contingencies for when your first plan goes awry. We saw it with Red with Matt Hamill. He had no backup plan yet, no answer to fighting Jackson on his feet. Well, he had, I think we said this last week. He doesn't really have an answer for him regardless. He can't stand up with him. He can't take him down. It's a bad matchup for him. He's not a bad fighter. He's actually a very good fighter, but this is a bad matchup. He's a very good wrestler with some good power, but Jackson just does everything he does and slightly better. But I mean, to me, like, this is a symptom of the longest. If you look at Munoz versus Akami, I called him out for this too. Munoz couldn't take Akami down at all. However, in the second round, he clubbed them with a shot on his feet and almost dropped them. Akami looked really, really hurt and then Munoz went right back to the takedowns. Yeah. That was so frustrating. If your first plan isn't working, be ready to mix it up because, you know, it makes more alarm. You have to be adaptable. Like, the best guys are. That's true. You look at all the champions and they can do just about anything. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Oh, my favorite is still Carlos Conde getting beat down, being out wrestled, and then switches into full-on offense, and then gets the win when he should have lost that fight. Yeah. I should be able to listen to their coach and switch out their game plan. And to Hamill, I gotta say, I don't even want to see Hamill fight it. Like, I'm not even excited for his next match. It was such a... $50 for that paper view. The last exciting match he had was when he got clubbed by Bones. Yep. I'm sorry. I actually like Matt Hamill, but he hasn't really done anything exciting since then. Like, taking down Tito at Tito's age? I didn't like that fight. No. But it wasn't so. It wasn't a barber of a fight. So he's always destined to lose to the best guys in that division. Hamill has... No, he will never be a champion. It was apparent after tonight. You don't even get a title shot. No. Now, Rampage. There was talk that he may get the title shot coming off this win. But his performance was not only his hand, but also if he went in there and did an amazing knockout or something, then I think he would have gotten it. But I don't think there's a lot of buzz coming off of Rampage coming off this fight. Well, yeah. I mean, the thing is, if he got an amazing knockout and he crushed Hamill, sure. But that wasn't really likely to happen. Even after the fight, Dan was like, "Well, we think we might go with Jackson." And then he kind of recanted that and was like, "Well, maybe we'll go with Rashad and just put Bones on the shelf for a little bit of time until one of the guys becomes available." I think whichever one comes first, I guess. Yeah. Like, if Jackson gets his hand right and Rashad gets hurt against Phil Davis or Phil Davis wins, Jackson is likely to get the next shot. Well, he just got the standard suspension, right? So... Yeah. Whereas, you know, if Rashad manages to win against Evans or should against Davis in impressive fashion or doesn't lose him to, you know, terribly boring of a fashion he'll probably get the shot away. Well, it's way up in there. There's five or six guys. If you can't force him in Shogun again, well, Shogun's probably not going to get it, but... Shogun's hurt. He's going to be out for a while. Well, Shogun... Well, Shogun's fighting for us in August. He's... He's... He's gonna fight. He's gonna fight. In two months. Like, they won't be ready in time. Yeah. You know, neither one of them. Bones should just go have his surgery. Yeah, he really should, honestly. There's no... There's no one there. Well, if he's trying... He's trying the Brock Lesnar method of not healing. Yeah. Well, Brock actually wound up having surgery. Yes, that's right. To remove a bunch of his colon. Oh, yeah. So, actually, I'll seek the reason for it to, you know, well, there's not really a lot to talk about. He got the surgery to fix his leg. He should be back in early 2012, if everything goes well, hopefully healthy. Yeah. That's the Brock Lesnar method. Who needs to have their colon anyway? Well, the thing about it is that they moved... Well, they moved inches of his intestines. Oh, boy. They wired him in this and that. But, yeah, the doctor himself came in afterwards and was like, "Yes, he'll be ready to fight early in 2012." After having, like, that's... That's this major circle. So, all these guys that are relying on these miracle cures... Yeah. I'm going to rub some herbs and some pulses on myself and have a voodoo healer again. This part hurts. Go on the doctor. Yeah. Really? The doctor's going to get you back in the fighting track faster than voodoo will. Yeah. And probably healthy. I'm still not convinced about the whole Brock Lesnar being ready in 2012 and not dying. So, that's... I mean, whatever. I mean, I don't want to go and... Yeah, he makes me seem... We'll see. That sting was always going to be over him. Yeah. But whether he's fully healthy. So, you go forward to Frank Nelson. Frank Meer versus Ryan Nelson. I was looking forward to this fight and I didn't love it. Why would you be looking forward to this fight? I was looking forward to this fight too. I was. Because, honestly, and I'll tell you why I was disappointed with Nelson. Because I really wasn't expecting him. Despite his size, I really thought his cardio was better. Because, in the dos Santos fight, he had an excuse for looking terrible. Because dos Santos is amazing. Yeah. But with Meer, I thought that he would have a lot more cardio and a lot more energy. Turns out he had the flu. Oh, there you go. Now, I know nobody shows up in top condition and stuff. It's not always an excuse. But he looked like he had the flu. He did. He looked terrible. He looked so lethargic. I am not taking anything away from Meer, who I still think is incredibly underrated. And Meer looked good. Meer was a great takedowns. Good, decent striking. I thought he looked good. He looked solid. He looked solid. In every aspect of the game, he outstruck him. He out grappled him, took him down at will, had some brutal knees. Now, Nelson is basically unkillable. He's like a zombie or something. Like, every time Meer got him down, Nelson managed to get back. Except zombies are skinny. Maybe if the news had been eating. So, in any case. Brains. Nelson certainly looked very, very resilient in this match. He always does, just not at Meer's caliber. To be honest. I'll say a very big win from Meer. A very, very big win from Meer. And I mean. Now they're going to talk about him for a title. Probably be pretty soon. I think you put him into a title eliminator. Maybe with a shop, if shop beats Nogara. Maybe Nogara if Nogara wins. But now you're at that stage where you've got Karwin and Dus Santos fighting for the next shot. After that, it's got to be Meer and someone fighting for it. Definitely. So yeah, it's too bad. I just thought that the main two matches on this card were not incredibly exciting. It was unfortunate. So, Meer is out with an injured jaw. They thought it might be broken. It is not. But he's out for a bit of time. That's good because he needs to talk into something. He landed something in that match. He landed a vicious move. Well, the thing, there was a point where the crowd exploited in chairs. Nelson landed a huge shot. Nelson is checked into a hospital with walking to Monia and he's apparently going to get a very, very ferocious talking to you from Dana White about you better make it to 240 and have the gas to fight three rounds. Well, the pneumonia is going to help that. You know what? People say like, okay, fair enough. But if you look at his ultimate fighter fight with Justin Ren, he looked gas in that fight. I was saying that the pneumonia is going to help him lose weight. Fair enough. I think that that's the talk with Dana that we keep hearing about is almost unnecessary. Look at all these guys who went into this fight with the flu and injured because this car could not take someone else backing out. These guys deserve credit for going through and fighting. Yeah, they do. They give credit where credit is due. But I still think that, you know, Nelson, I don't think he's got the invincible gas tank that people think he does. I think he's a 260 pound man and no 260 pound man has incredible cardio. You just can't do it at that size of body. Yeah. So we go forward, and we're going to talk a little bit about Stefan Streve and Travis Brown. That was sad for me. Yeah. I'm a really big fan of Streve. But you know what? When you go into a Streve fight and you expect either, he's going to put on a really cool performance or he's going to get knocked out. And this time he's going to happen. It's really funny. Travis Brown is a beast. Yes, he is. That guy scares me. Well, he's a monster. He's huge. And he's very, very powerful. I remember when we were watching this fight. To me, this is the death of the heavyweight division because these guys are so big and so athletic for being as big as they are. There's a crop of guys coming up that are just so impressive. And look at this guy. This guy comes in. His first UFC fight, a draw with Congo, which is impressive. Yeah. A draw that should have been over. Yeah. Well, there was lots of sketchiness in there. But then also a win over Streve. Like this guy just kind of pulled himself to the top 10 of this division. Yep. Amazing. And UFC, for sure. Yep. Very impressed. In 2007, he's weighs about 255 natural. Yep. And he's not heavy for it. He's got a good cardio it looks like. Because in the Congo fight, we saw him go all three rounds. Yeah. So, I mean, if he's got knockout power to boot and he looks like he's gaming a game fighter, we'll see what he does. We'll see what he does. I'd love to see him matched up with more craft. That would be great. Hmm. I like that. More craft moves to Streve. Fair enough. But more craft moves to Streve. But more craft moves to Streve. But more craft moves to Streve. Just beat McCorkel in a crushing fight. This is true. Yeah, it's a big mixed bag. So I guess that makes sense. It's a fun fight to watch, I think. Yeah. As far as Streve, Streve is a great, great fighter. And he just happens to be very, very young. And he likes to put on a show. Dude's got a job for low. Like, I mean, they're not going to cut him even if he loses two or three in a row. He has so much upside. Yeah, because whenever he gets knocked out, it looks like it's going to be a guaranteed ESPN. Yeah, really. Well, he's got to stop 6-11 and find out. I follow him. He's got to stop doing the Damian Maya. Yeah, he jumped into that much. And he jumped into that much. And he jumped into the guys with his hands down. I mean, he's always, he's a young guy. So he's looking for that highlight reel. You got to stop doing that. I mean, you have the size, you have, you're doing it the right way, you're adding weight the right way. You've got good cardio. You have knockout power. I'm missing. You want that to get some more. Great ground skill. He's got, yeah, awesome ground skill. He's long. I mean, he's just got. I think he's a good one. No, he's submitted. He's submitted more. And he knocked out more craft. That was the fat lip fight. But yeah, I mean, he's got all these tools. He's just got to figure out how to put his hands up and be a little safer. Well, yeah, he can't go for jump knees in every fight and not against, not against guys like Travis Brown and DeSontos, which was two of his worst lacos. He tried the same thing against Nelson and Nelson clubbed them. Yeah. I still consider his true footwork in progress. No definitely. He's 23. Yeah. When he, when he rope adopes, when he lies, he leans his back against the cage and just leans his head back. So it can't be knocked out. I've seen the guy take such a pounding. He looks like he's invincible. Yeah. And then the other time, he was definitely not invincible. Yeah, now I'm going to try to dive with the guy with my face first on my hands down. Well, dude, that doesn't work for you. That's not worked for you four times now. Come on, put your head lean against the cage, lean back, be a little bit boring, but we'll get your win. Yeah. So we go forward to a tag of Elvis and Rick's story. The story of this match was Rick's story is wrestling. There was no pun intended there. Wah, wah. Story managed to hold Elvis against the cage or drag him down to the mat a couple of times Elvis had his hands going the third round. It was not enough story managed to hang in there with him. It could have been enough. There was a knee there that could almost kill the story. His teeth went through the mouthpiece. Yeah. He hit him hard. And you know what? He still kept going. He went down, but he went for the takedown. Yeah. He fought smart, awesome game plan, tough dude, good wrestler. Then he called out John Fitch. Yeah. He said he's the next on the packing order. I believe in this dude. Yeah. We've been saying it for weeks and weeks. Tim, Ellen Burger, Condit, these guys, there is a welterweight division. Everyone's saying that GSP's clean up the division is not paying attention. No way. There's definitely there's young guys coming up. And I mean. Rawr even. Rawr. We're in McDonald. Kim. There's just tons of guys. Yeah. Now Rick's story. I really don't want to see him have a match with John Fitch because I could be that pitcher that being the most. It won't be, it won't be pretty if it happens. Yeah. But to be honest with the other thing is there's a real potential that would deny me my, my dream fight of a five round fight between Fitch and Shields. Yeah. So I definitely will like, like, I think that, you know, let Fitch go ahead, let him take on Shield for a championship and then we'll move story up and, you know, we'll just have story Fitch, Shields and GSP, the foremost boring man in sports. I do not find story boring. Story's not boring at all. I mean, and I think if you were to fight Fitch, he would have a lot of tools to, to combat Fitch with. I think it's a good fight. And beating a guy in his own, because he would have to, he would have to out wrestle him. Yeah. Or some of that fight, beating a guy like Fitch at his own game would get that guy a title shot. Absolutely. Yeah. If you managed to beat Fitch, immediate title shot. Yeah. So anyone who beats Fitch is going to be like Dana's golden boy. That's right. Well, and jump Fitch with good reason is, is the second top ball in that division. So anyone who beats that guy, I really respect, I loved it when Story called out Chiago a few months back. I love when he called out Fitch now. This guy, this guy's got his head together. Yeah. He certainly has a game plan outside of the ring. That's, that's impressive in his own right. So then we go forward, Brian Stan crushed Jorge Santiago in the second round with a, with a vicious shot that dropped him and followed him up with punches on the ground for TKO. This one, a very, very impressive win for Brian Stan and it got fight of the night, probably undeserved. I don't. Yeah, I did. I, I don't agree, but Stan looked great. Oh, yeah. He looked really, really good during that press conference afterwards. He was saying, he was saying like, Oh yeah, I really respect my opponent and I'll fight whoever they asked me to. And Dana just had the biggest smile I've ever seen on anyone's face. Like, this guy is money. This guy is going to be a licensed to print money for Dana. Well, he did have the exact same fight in his smile on his face when Stan showed up on, or un, uninvited at the pre, by the press conference pre-show. That's right. Where you start getting a, an interview on how much he loved Memorial Day and how much he loved the States. You know, like, given the fact that this guy's a former Marine captain who's now learned to fight. Well, like he's been fighting for a while and he is, yeah, he's not a flash in the pan. It's not a gimmick. He gets better. The guy can go. Well, I mean, in W.C., he wasn't that good because he was still a full-time soldier. Yeah, he was training full-time. He's training full-time with Jackson. Yeah, with, with the best camp in MMA. All of a sudden, he's, he's, he's getting right up there. Honestly, I think, you know, for, for, for, they chose to go with Mayhem Miller against Biz Payne and the ultimate fighter, because they thought the next season coming out. Because they thought that Stan would be a little bit too boring. I disagree. They haven't actually said why. And then that's one of the reasons. I think the real reason is, uh, Spike, Spike TV. I'm going to jump forward with the news a bit here. Spike TV wants the main event of this season to be on TV for ratings. They don't want to blow Stan on free TV. That makes sense. I think that's the reason. That's a fair and volatile concern as well. That, that this is just something I've considered and I think that that could be a, that makes sense. Because Stanford's Bizbing sounded fantastic on paper. But why would you throw? But don't give that for free. You guys. Obviously not. Even still though, I mean, that, this would be such an important move for Stan as it is, you know. It would, it would raise his profile. I agree. Well, as it stands, he's going to get, he's going to get a good fight for his next fight. He's going to get a top five guy in this next fight. And if he wins that fight, he's, he smells title shot. Agreed. Like. But I think if you did him and Bizbing after season Ultimate Fighter, that would be your title contender match. Well, there's going to be another one. So true. It'll happen eventually. So we'll see. But Stan definitely is like, he's on the fast, fast track, uh, looking very, very impressive and he's very, very big for the division, which is going to help out against Anderson Solo who's monstrous. Yeah. It was like two divisions heavier. So we go forward to the prelim cards, Kendall Groves, Tim Bolsch, boring, boring one. No said. Tebow got an incredible press of Choco over a Rafael Oliveira. Well done. That's a second win in two months. Yeah. He looked really good in that fight. Borreo and Escavito, boring decision. Not good at all. He's a Carrillo, boring decision. Then two guys who did not have a boring decision, Miguel Torres and Demetrius Johnson. This was everything the decision fight should be. This fight was me up. This should have been fighter than I. It was great. There's so much, so much groundwork, amazing counters, so close to call and Demetrius Johnson got the win. I scored it 29, 28 for Torres, but I can see how someone could do it the other way. I call this one a straight up draw. To me, this was, if this isn't a draw, what was a draw? I think that because I called Demetrius Johnson to win, it was a foul decision. It was a good call. And here's my argument on this though, is that Torres was constantly going for submissions and trying to finish the fight where Demetrius Johnson, he was always countering, always getting out of stuff, sometimes wining on top, but never what was going for the finishes, and that's just where I would, if I had to pick a winner, I would give to Torres, but I would have no issue with the draw. To me, it's too close to call and you can make a good and valid argument that I would accept for either guy, which is the utter definition of a draw. I completely see why Torres should have won. I completely decided why Johnson should have won. I completely see why either one of them could have lost, but this was 15 minutes of two guys scrambling for this decision. It was a great fight. And not fight it at night, unfortunately. This was the best grappling that you're going to see. This reminded me of the Sado Lowe's on fight. Yeah, that's right. It makes up the longer version. Yeah, for sure. That's good for my emails though, in that division though. Look at the guy. Look at the guy. He just got that win. He's on like a B win. He'd be kidding. He'd be kidding. I'm a moto. That's right. Oh, yeah. Man, he's top five in that division now. He's title one soon. Yeah. I mean, he's on the short. He's on the very, very short list. Faber's got next, but if he manages... After that, who's higher? Yeah. I think Johnson's probably going to be in the, when the top one is your guys after that. Yeah, it's not going to be Jorgensen. Yeah. So, then we go forward to the news. Yeah, there's actually not a ton of news. We've already talked about Brock Lesnar and his surgery. We've talked about the ultimate fighter. Although Michael Bizbing versus Maeha Miller, you guys excited for that? Good call? I think it's going to be fun. Entertaining. It'll be entertaining. Miller is ill. I like this. He's definitely, he's a fun guy to watch. He's a great TV presence. Bizping knows how to be the villain. So, it'll be fine TV. I just think that I would have loved to have seen Stan and Bizping. Not that this won't be good, but that would have been great. I think they'll make it entertaining and the right kind of entertaining that people will watch them fight on TV. But I don't think that there's any way those guys were going to talk to anybody into paying to see them fight. Yeah. And is this going to be a light? This is better. This is bad to win. Bad to win. Bad to win. Yeah. So, that alone, the fights have to be better. No. They really have to be better. Yeah. Braille and Escavito would disagree for the two of us. Yeah. Yeah. But that wasn't anomaly. Yeah. I mean, I've seen that was the second Bansomweight fight since I started watching Bansomweight fights that was boring for me. And that was a special one with that. How to boring one. He's not Bansom. Was he Bansom? No. Chad Mendez is a featherweight. Yes. And Chad... Oh, and that's really unfortunate for Chad Mendez. He doesn't get his title shot against Aldo. Aldo... Jose Aldo was injured. They were probably going to fight in either August, September, October in there. And now, Mendez is going to fight against... I think he gets runny. Yeah. That's a step down from a title shot. Yeah. But it was more his choice. Then he gave him the option to sit out and wait it out, but he said I want to fight. And he can be... Yeah. Yeah. He's 10 to no. There's no way he's going to lose to you. Yeah. Yep. And I guess the last bit of news. Kerpel Agrino's decided to step away for fighting for a while, possibly forever. He decided not to renew his UFC contract. Which you don't see a lot of guys doing this. Guys get cut from the UFC. They don't usually walk away. Yeah. And I guess he wants to focus on other things. He was 7 and 5 in the UFC, but his losses were to guys like Joe Daddy, Diaz, Sutteropolis, D-Bout. I mean, it was fairly apparent, I think, that he couldn't beat those top guys. So I guess you decide. Do you want to be a middling guy in the UFC or do you want to try and do something else with your life? Fight crime, maybe. Yeah. I mean, yeah. Are you guys going to... He does exciting fights. I've always enjoyed watching him fight. But, you know, he wasn't going anywhere in that division. He couldn't, he literally, there was no way out for him in that division. You know, I'm going to say, even in the Strike Force Lightweight Division, I don't think there's too much room for movement for him. I think that, you know... Which is sad, since there's like four guys in the Strike Force Lightweight Division. Yeah. But those four guys are, you know, Molendez, Johnson, Ioki, and I can't even think of the four guys. No, there's no... Oh, okay. KJ Nins. KJ Nins, yeah. And the four guys are four serious, serious guys. You know, in any case, he was too big to cut, too small to go up. You know, I love Pellegrino, he was definitely an entertaining fighter, but take some time. Think it over. Yeah, definitely. Honestly, he's some of the best trainers in the world. They weren't the best fighters. They were the guys with good heads for the game. Oh, yeah, he could do that easily. He's... Pellegrino had a really good head for the game. So, you know, Freddy Roach never won a championship, but if you want to be a championship boxer, you better go to that guy. Yeah, for sure. All right. And that's about it for news. So let's talk about the ultimate fighter finale. First of all, ultimate fighter season, by and large, boring. How good was that last episode though? That last episode, amazing. Oh, man, actual drama, decent fights, brought closer coaching well. Oh, that's great. Loved it. I think, you know what, I think he's been coaching well the whole season, but they've just decided now to show him coaching well. I think they've been editing footage there, because it's not like he just woke up one day and said, "I'm going to teach Chuck O'Neill how to wrestle." Like, he must have been teaching him all... He's got, who have been doing this from day one, and they're starting to figure it out, and they're starting to do better. So I think he's been doing a good coaching job all season. Lesnar, I like, I have my issues with the guy, but he is... He knows how to wrestle. Yeah. And he knows how to teach people how to wrestle. And one thing I will give the guy credit for is when he calls for something in front of his corner, his fighters do it. Yeah. Would you not listen to Brock Lesnar? Of course you can listen. Of course you can listen. Yeah. Yeah. DeSontos is like, attack. His guy's like, "Wait." Then he starts wandering around, looking at the fuse, and he goes over and talks to a ring girl. It's ridiculous. So... But yeah, Lesnar looked good. The important thing is, though, Tony Ferguson had an eruption in the house with Chuck O'Neill's best friend, Charlie Rader. Uh, you know, all the guys came out and were like, "Oh, poor Charlie, it's so mean for Tony to be cruel to him." Tony yelled at him, "Hit me, not your son." Yeah, that's... In terms of insults, you can get to another guy. And the fact that Rader just took it, "Hey, you know what?" Well, you can't. If you get in a fight on there, you get in a lot of trouble. Yeah, you get in a lot of trouble. He still might want to fight on the finale. And if he fights in the house, it's not going to happen. And that's why previewing this card will be strange, because the ultimate fighter at the last... The semi-finals happen about an hour after we get off the air, so we don't know every fight on the ultimate finale as of this moment. The semi-finals are... So the winners will be... The winner of Chris Cope in Rangini and Ramsey Nijim will take on the winner of Tony Ferguson and Chaco Neil. On the free show, this Saturday night. On the free show. Now, I would have to assume that if Tony Ferguson does not win his fight, they will give him Charlie Rader on the script. Oh, absolutely. For sure. It's the madness. Always do a grudge on the ultimate fighter finale. Yeah. And what else is on the card? Do we know for sure? What else on the card is we have Ruben Duran versus Francisco Rivera. I don't know anything about either one of those cards. You must be starting from the bottom. Yes. Okay. Scott. Scott Jorgensen will be taking on Ken Stone. Little bit unusual. Jorgensen fought for a title in his last band with fights, so now he's in the prelims. And Ken Stone at WEC, though. Yeah. And Ken Stone, I barely... I know that name. How do I know him? He's a... He's a serious, seriously BJJ guy, and he fought Wineland on the last WEC show. Did you... Did you get slammed in that slam? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. So... I call it Jorgensen. Yeah. Before you said that, I was still calling Jorgensen. Josh Grisby, he of the although title shot that never happened, will take on George Rupp, he who slayed the Korean zombie. That's gonna be a good fight. And then he got beat by Hamanek. That's actually... You know what? Both of those guys have been... I don't know where you go. Where you go. It's gotta be... He's going to each other. It's 'cause it's... This is the right match for these guys. They're both near the top of the featherweight division. Rupp is so... He wins one. He loses one. He wins one. He loses one. Yeah. He... I had to call Grisby. Grisby... He showed he can't really handle really good striking in his last fight when Diamond pushed him around the ring. I gotta figure a Rupp scheme for this one. I'm giving him the one bad fight benefit of the doubt until this fight. Yeah, for sure. And then Rupp's a good test. Yeah. Rupp's the early candidate for Gatekeeper in that division. I think. Completely good. Then we go forward to Jeremy Little Stevens, he's little heathen Stevens taking on Danny Downs. Fight of the night. Danny Downs is replacing... Jonathan Brookings. Jonathan Brookings of Ultimate Fighter Glory. Danny Downs, the last time I saw him fight was kind of a lopsided loss to Chris Horodexki. He's found a couple of times since then. But God, this guy can take a pound here. Yeah. That's the thing. That's the thing. He could take a beating and Little Heathen is... He could take more of a beating. Having great fights. So this... I think this may be fighter the night. Or, well, actually, no. We have Guida and Pettis. I'm just tired. Nevermind. Yeah. Second favorite. I think this will be one side. I think Danny Downs is going to be tough enough to handle Stevens. Stevens is very, very good. So I think just holding him down. Stevens is also... He's very hit or miss as well. But that's a tough... I'm still going to go with Stevens though. And all those fights are pre-limbs. Hopefully, there is time to air them. Yeah. So, main card, Ed Herman, who is an Ultimate Fighter alumni, will be taking on Tim Crater. Both of them are coming back from long, long injuries that neither has fought since 2009. Yeah. August and September is happy, respectively. I didn't think Ed Herman still worked for the UFC. I thought he was too age-to-ever, but I thought his career was done. Yeah. I can't even pick a win. I can't even remember what Tim Crater looks like. I don't know what he... Yeah. I can't even... It's been so long. Well, guys haven't fought that long. They've been training, they've been doing it. It's almost impossible to pick a fight like that. Their last fight was both their last fights were before we started doing this show. Oh, my God, that's right. Wow. Okay. So, all those... Well, they've got a chance through a process. Kyle Kingsbury comes back, having won his match with prison. Yeah. Kyle Maldonado. Kyle is so scary-looking. He jacked up so much. He is so huge. Yeah. Yeah. It's either prison or steroids. He's getting... I predict Kyle Kingsbury by knockout. I predict Kyle Kingsbury by, like, vaporization. Yeah. Yeah. This dude has gotten monstrously huge. On the other hand, Maldonado did beat the snot of James Xwini, who I love. Yeah, but who doesn't? Who Maldonado. You win this fight. TKO from Maldonado. That's my call. And in the main event, Clay, the carpenter, Guida, versus Anthony Showtime, Pettis. On paper, the fight of the year. Yeah. How can it not be? Both these guys have the most amazing fights. The only way is... The only way is... Guida wrestles like crazy and pins Pettis. Yep. And submits him early. And then it'll probably be submission of the night. And every round has to start on their feet again. Yeah, that's true. But you know what? Pettis is also very, very wiggly. Yes, he is. He gets out of submissions. He moves to get a couple from Ben Henderson, who's pretty good at him. So I mean, I don't think Guida, he can certainly outwork most people. Showtime's a hard guy to outwork. Yeah. He's got better striking. And his submission defense and his wrestling defense are pretty top shelf. And as he showed with his crazy ninja kick off the cage, he's tricky and... He's extremely unorthodox and hard to prep for. Yeah. Yeah. I don't see how Jackson's gonna come up with a game plan for a guy who's this unorthodox. Jackson can come up with a game plan for anything. Well, it's a good match between two guys from Guida Camps, because he's from Duke Rufo's camp. Yeah. I've been looking forward to this fight since it got announced. They announced it's months and months ago. And I can't think of a fight other than Edgar Maynard 3 that I want to see as much as this. Yeah. If this is this fight, we'll determine who gets the next one after Edgar Maynard. That's right. And this ever happens. And this is Saturday night on Spike TV free card, really, honestly, even if you don't watch every MMA card, watch this just for Guida versus Pettis. It's gonna be great. This one would be amazing. I'm calling Pettis for this one, though. I'm gonna call Guida. Oh, wow. I'm gonna call, I'm calling Guida. And it's good. That's a tough call. Yeah. Great. I just want a great fight. That's all. Diego Sanchez could hand him in striking. I think Pettis. And as much as Guida's improved because Guida's gotten a lot better, but Pettis looked amazing his last match. I'm calling Pettis for this one. Oh, I think I'm gonna win this fight. I'm gonna win this. But the audience will be the real winner. So thank you for tuning in listening to us.
