UFC 130:  Jackson vs. Hamill is this Saturday, kicking off a month full of high profile MMA cards.  Although this show was plagued with injuries, there are still some interesting matches to predict and discuss, including Mir vs. Nelson and the return of Brian Stann. We also discuss other news, including the end of Nick Diaz's boxing aspirations, even more Chael Sonnen garbage, some potential Ultimate Fighter coaches, and two seperate incidents of former UFC stars arrested for assault, just to make up for there being none last week. Check out our website at http://www.thehammermma.com and subscribe to our show in the Itunes store.

What's up? This is BJ of the Prodigy Pen and you're listening to the hammer. Hello and welcome to the hammer. I'm your host Dave and it is May 25th We've got a great show for you as we always like to do you are listening to us live at 93 point 3 CFM You can also find us at the hammer MMA calm. I'm here with my co-host Greg. How's it going guys and Steve? Hey, so we're gonna talk a little bit about UFC 130. We also have some news Including some Brock laser and chill son and updates. I believe just like every week We are the channel son in channel. Nothing else unfortunately So, but let's start with with the big thing. You see 130 coming up this Saturday Because of their mutual injuries Frankie Edgar and Great manor or not on the cards. The main event is now Quinn Jackson versus Matt Hamill. This is disappointing for me Yeah, I was really really looking forward to my decker Maynard, but I was actually watching a UFC countdown Earlier in the week and it had Maynard it was showing Maynard and Edgar fights like previous Maynard and Edgar fights And I was getting all excited and I remembered that Maynard and Edgar wouldn't be on this car Yeah, and that last fight I mean, I'm a huge Edgar Pan and Maynard's great, too But that fight on New Year's Day was one of the best fights I've seen in New oh, yeah And now we get whether it's our new main event Dave Quinn Jackson versus Matt Hamill, which isn't probably gonna be that bad Oh, it's just that's a compare it to what it could be that's a great second or a third down the card Yeah, exactly the other thing though is that really it's also not a bad main event because Jackson as a former champ is one of the biggest draws in the company. Oh, yeah, everyone was rampage I'm not Hamill. He's a pretty big threat and I mean, I think people are derating Hamill You know thinking that he's not in the same cast as Quinn Jackson, but to think about it Hamill's one of the strongest guys in division He's got a top-top notch wrestling game and he's coming off of I think it's four wins in a row now, including one over Bones Jones Well, yeah, not counting that bones when he is not He has not lost very much. He has bought in the UFC for pretty much his entire career and done a very very good job Nine and two in the UFC the only people that have beat him are Franklin and Bizbing and Jones. Come on Yeah, let's be realistic Jones, but let's be fair Bizbing. It was a robbery. So it was a robbery So so he's got two legit losses Yeah, one legit loss of Franklin one where you can call a loss even though it's a win to Bones and one robbery to Bizbing And here's a thing He's only ever been been like stopped once and that's the and that's the Franklin fight Yeah, not counting the weird bones DQ thing and so Rampage who is very good at knocking guys out and stopping them. Maybe maybe he won't be able to not go Hamill Well, the other thing is Rampage Jackson is nothing if not very predictable. Yeah, he is utterly paint by numbers He's gonna come out. He's not gonna check my kicks and he's gonna try to like land his right hook or his uppercut Now he has a well-rounded skill set. He doesn't use it. Yeah, exactly He tends to fall back on what he's used to and the thing is that the whole clinch You know thing that he did with machita is absolutely not gonna work this time Well, the other thing is probably out clinch him He's never ever done that before other than the machita fight Yeah, that for the machita fight and in hindsight it seems like a pretty good move and probably was for that fight for that fight But Hamill's got a phenomenal clinch game himself He he can he can out run he can wrestle with the best of them. He's very very powerful Jackson's gonna have a bit of a size advantage But Jackson has not wrestled for takedowns in years. Yeah, I don't think you'll have a strength advantage He likes he likes to strike. Yeah, my Hamill. He's got some pretty tough hands and he's got a really tough chin Well, here's where it comes down for me is that Hamill I don't think he can take Rampage down Rampage has excellent takedown defense and when it comes down You can say that Hamill's good on his feet whatever, but Rampage will smoke him on his feet if that's where it stays Hamill's gonna need a very good game plan for this to win because where it's gonna wind up on their feet I think Rampage is way more of a threat. I gotta say I'm smelling decision. I really I'm thinking I'm thinking It's gonna be Rampage by decision That's at least my call for this. I do think that this is Rampage is fight to lose I do think that Rampage can beat Hamill But with that being said, no one is better at losing a fight than Rampage Jackson Did that is what this guy I'm sure he'll come in with a sloppy game plan Hamill will not come in with a sloppy game plan Hamill will be ready for this fight. So losing a fight that he's supposed to win is what you're saying. Exactly Yeah, you know like like Rampage he's he always comes in with wacky game plans or Like completely predictable or if he somehow managed to to win a fight legitimately like he did over low Leota Machita or Marilla Ruho He'll just be like oh my point be me anyways Yeah Who cares what he says afterwards right? So you can win this fight you should win this fight Hamill's not a guy to not a guy to take lightly though I think that Hamill is gonna have enough of a wrestling advantage And I think that Jackson has not been tested in wrestling in long enough I think is interesting and I'm going to harrow towards Hamill by decision. Hmm. I just don't think that Jackson can stop Well Rashad tried to wrestle him. Yeah, he did and he worked one What we'll say is it tested Fair enough, but I mean Hamill is certainly better wrestler than Rashad Frank Mir versus Wayne Nelson this one is a little bit interesting Frank Mir is a former champion of the UFC Wayne Nelson is a pretty serious contender at this point in the former champion of the IFL Both guys none of them. In fact, they actually have met in grappling terms before and Nelson has beaten here Oh, yeah, no grappling so Mir is known for his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu However, Mir also is trying to become a very technical striker And also and he doesn't mind getting a little bit gritty and trying to knock guys out when he has to anyone who can stand and take Jr. De Santo shots for three rounds and not die is someone that that's definitely Going to be able to shake off some mere shots. Well, who are the guys that Mir is knocked out on his KO come back to her It was a croak hop no Gara. No, he's up con go These guys are not Nelson and he cannot do that to Nelson I don't think no and no Gara, you know, he was he was half his strength at that point He had a staff infection on their hand. What do you think is? What do you think of the grappling match of this? Both guys are in theory Jiu Jitsu Masters Well, well if it goes to the ground which Nelson is very very capable in the ground Mir can also submit somebody from anywhere as well Mir is very dangerous on the ground if it goes to the ground I actually don't know how it's gonna go. Yeah, that's a hard one to call Okay, well, let me make my call on this one. I think that Mir is he's pretty solid technical striker But he doesn't like it when you get roughed up in the clinch, which is what our car went crushed him Yep, Nelson loves to fight in the close. He loves to fight in the clinch. Nelson is super heavy on the ground because he's super heavy I think that basically if he goes to the ground Nelson's gonna get top position and beat him up with shots Like those who did if it stays on his feet Nelson's gonna rough him open the clinch I don't think Mir is gonna have the submission game to tap out Nelson who's Jiu Jitsu is also very good I picture Nelson winning this one by decision Yeah, Nicole Nelson. Yeah, it's it's Nelson's fight for sure Mir can surprise you off for the former champ mirror I like mirror and I do think that mirror can pull out a win from from almost anywhere on the ground But in this fight Nelson strengths are all across the board eclipse eclipse mirrors that this fight is Nelson's yep Okay, so we go forward to Stefan Strove one of the rising stars in the heavyweight division looking forward to seeing him fight again Yeah, everyone loves Strove versus Travis Brown Brown beat McSweeney, which means nothing because he doesn't beat McSweeney He is a draw with Congo, which actually does mean something cuz Cone's pretty solid and that was a He should a lot of heart like us in that fight So he did now Strove kind of has he's on that level right now where his losses in the UFC are dos Santos and Nelson Who are in the top five or six guys in the division and all these other big tough kind of monster guys who he comes across he beats Because yeah, he's he's that tough. He's that good on the ground Strove just has heart. Yeah, the more craft fight definitely showed how tough Strove can be I mean his lip was the size of his head Yeah And then he came out from the cage and just knocked Warcraft right out like that I couldn't believe that happened That was incredible now Strove can be knocked out. He has been oh, yeah It's been very very bad, you know very very bad fashion, but he Brown is Brown is the level of guy that Strove can beat and will be was the Congo fight Brown's last fight That was his last fight. Yeah, cuz that was the one where there was the groin shots and No, the cheap Congo fight. Yeah, yeah congo. Yeah, honestly, if any Congo fight is going shots and cage grabbing Those are the eyes. What can't go down? If you hit the guy with a belt or a bell, I'm sure They knew to say I think we're all calling well, I'm calling Strove at least I think I think in this I mean Brown can catch a guy and knock him out and Strove definitely is vulnerable to that But every time I see Strove he gets better. He's still bigger Young and he's getting bigger and stronger. Yeah, and as he grows into that massive 6/11 frame of his Mm-hmm. I mean the guy He he grapples. He's he's he's a master on the ground He's a master getting submissions off his back. He's a master ground pound and he's starting to strike like semi-shield Yeah, so I mean I think he's gonna be well way too well rounded for Brown who I think he's made up his depth there Yeah, I agree. Yep. So let me go forward to Alves and Rick story Rick story Yeah, this is gonna be good Rick stories is really really good five in one of the U of C He's only lost us to half away who was formerly very promising Tell you Alves use fighting GSP only three fights ago. So that's right now Here's my thing with this fight is a story is he's a very good wrestler very very tough guy and out But alves is a beast like I wouldn't want and I've no one should want to stand with alves But the people have already cracked alves. He comes in gassed GSP held him down Fitch held him down and if stories on his game story can do it as well It just Alves just hasn't figured out how to do that way cut and have his full energy. So I mean, it's Now I think I think if story in court if story puts in the wrestling then he's he's gonna be able to take alves and do the you know sort of get on top of them and and stories stories no joke on his feet, but alves is Seriously dangerous like this is not really good idea. This fight's gonna be determined by where it ends up It frets story fights a good fight. I think he's probably the underdog in this fight But he fights a smart fight. I can see him winning this and really propelling himself I see him on that level of guys who should be the Challengers for GSP in the next year or so when they're ready. So you hear your calm story to win this? Uh, yes, but With the call with the with the fear that alves can not come out at any time You know what despite what we've said about about story. I am still gonna call alves Just because I mean, he's got to have figured out how to have his full energy by now really I mean, he's so he's so huge and I think he's gonna be able to even though stories are great wrestler I think that alves will be able to take him down because he's just a monster So this isn't GSP. It's Rick's story. It's a bit of a difference Alves is definitely huge and you definitely look really really good in his last fight like it looks like he's figured out his way cut I think there's a fluke cuz alves is always here miss I mean although he is on the top notch although his losses are to guys like Fitch and GSP I think that story is good enough and talented enough of a wrestler that he can clench with him And then he can maybe get some of the takedowns to score some points I see he's story winning this one by decision. Mm-hmm. Alves looked very he obviously last fight was a decision He has not guys out in a long time. So I mean impressed me alves, but I'm calling story to win this Let me go forward to Brian Stan vs. Jorge Santiago now Stan is a guy that everyone in the UFC loves because he's a former Marine and he looks like a captain America figure Yeah, he was formerly in WBC He was fairly impressive there, but he has reinvented himself on this UFC run like a he massacred Chris Lee then it was awesome Santiago has got pretty he's pretty tough guy. He's got some really really good present. You did see him And he's but he's got some losses. He's been a while since he's been in the UFC. Yeah So What do you think for this? Stan should have this stand as well for sure. I mean liquid liquid easy to leave in I think he's just gonna keep running through guys until he gets to I really think he's on that trajectory. I mean what what he did to leave in was just a legal And leave it was on this like this miracle. I know people thought I was gonna be the guy and leave him was the guy who you know It was so tough and then could take anything and Stan just buzz sawed right through him So I really think that Stan is gonna be your next real challenger for for Anderson Silva I think he's just he's I mean no, so was got a commie next, but Stan's got so much potential that interesting to see I definitely think that like Santiago as tough as the guy is he's shown that he came in octo his jaw isn't the best Stan has got very very heavy hands. He's training with the right people he's training with Jackson's gym now And he's cutting down from heavy light heavyweight to make this fight And didn't look like out of shape with even other guys Jackson's camp most of the cutaway properly bones as any proof So I would imagine that a stand would probably be able to win this one by knockout. Yeah, I would pitch a Yeah, whether he's the guy to take on Anderson Silva I imagine the Anderson Silva would would really massacre him, but You know, Stan would be able to beat Santiago So I think it's a little bit too pretty clarified ever said that Brian Stan was going to be I don't think you'll challenge Anderson Silva. I think that Anderson Silva will come in and dance and knock him out within like a minute So we go forth to the prelims The man with the towel I never cannot the man of the towel, but I mean the thing with the man with towel is He's not as good as coach as Stephen Seagal Seagal's got everyone that can't knock people out with fun. Go learn to do a front kick. Yeah, for kicks and jobs Let's see if it's a Galway So we go forward to the prelim cards We've got Miguel Torres who is coming in to take on Demetrius Johnson. Are these on Spike TV? Yes This is a ban on my fight Torres is really really talented as a phantom weight and very tall very very tall a lot of long a lot of reach for the division However, in his last fight. It was a step back in job fast. Yeah, Johnson is a phenomenal wrestler Who normally has a pretty good ground in pound. However, his last fight was a takedown and clinch fest. Mm-hmm So it's just Johnson's usually yeah, he's got the speed of data a lot. He's although Tora He's a towards this actually could be a really good fight. Yeah, I think Tora's fought better competition That's why like his losses are against bowls and Benavides. Yeah, there is no shame in that He's he's a tough dude, and I think I do like I do like Mighty Mouse, but I think Tora's is good enough You know what I call Tora's a lot and he always disappoints me. So I'm gonna call Johnson this time I'm actually enjoying Greg and calling Johnson on this one Torres he is he is really really good off his ground, but Demetrius Johnson is a very very good wrestler I think he's gonna be able to take advantage of Tora's is kind of stutter step and get some takedowns here I would imagine this final go decision I imagine would be fairly exciting and and Ben and Benavides has shown that just because Tora's is tall Does it mean he knows how to use it that effect there? Benavides is not a tall guy, and he was a he just owned Tora very good point So I think that Johnson could probably do that as well This is actually really a night of tall guys were just short guys Well when you got strove on the car Well Brown is like six seven or something so shorter. It's still his porridge shorter. I think doesn't talk as a foreign tree Then we go forward to the next tall guy versus short guy Kendall Groh David and Goliath night. Yeah, David and Gumbie Look he's that gumbie, but This is his first fight in middleweight. The barbarian had a lot of matches in like heavyweight where you managed to look bad against Gustafson and Phil Davis and you know guys that were really really tough guys. He cannot hang in that light. Good prospects I mean good prospects, dude, but just not at that level. Yeah, Kendall Groh This is a guy. I've never known anyone to get as much hate as poor Kendall Groh He always seems to be the other people like oh if he loses this one He's gonna get caught even please look like five straight at this point Well, I think it's just for a time. He was pretty inconsistent. He was used to be very consistent. However lately He's been pretty consistent with his only loss in the last two years. I think being Demi and Maya I'm not sure. I don't know. I've his record remembered off the top of my head. Well, cuz no one pays that close Since he beat at Herman, I really have no recollection of him. I try and forget most of the Kendall Groh fight Yeah, well with his name being said what he thought so on the barbarian versus versus Kendall Groh. That's spider Spider spider 2.0. That's spider You know what I think Groh's Groh's on a pretty good streak and I think he's crafty and Spindly enough that he is that I think he can take this Yeah, I just don't think Boach is that good. Yeah, Boach isn't that good But I don't think he'll grow up is that good either and one thing that Boach has definitely got going for him in this fight Is that Groh is used to fighting guys that are middleweights are much much smaller Tim Boach making the cut from my heavyweight He's not gonna be nearly as outclassed in size as most of Groh's opponents Although he will still be outclassed in size still his first weight cut though. That's right true But that's kind of probably factoring both. He's a good. He's a tough wrestler. He can he can he can whack you a little bit Groh, he like he likes to he gets put on his back and he scrambles looking for long leg submissions Mm-hmm. That's what he does. Yeah, but I think that he's not gonna be able to get that against Boach Which is gonna make him. Yeah, I think Boach is gonna win this one Then we go forward to the prelim card. This will be on Facebook Gleason T bow makes the return to take on Rafaela or a little Viera T bow is a very very very good tough lightweight prospect with some exciting fights All of the arrows got some great submissions Michael McDonald's gonna take on Chris Caricio. I honestly don't know either one of these guys Mike Mcdonald's last fight was awesome off it Figueroa was his fight Figueroa. Yeah, man. I thought it was great I'm looking forward to seeing what you know about Chris Caricio though. Not a lot. Not too much. No, I Always worth seeing this but then we'll make went on the win so you can sing. Yeah, we'll be there How many times has he probably heard that? Then we go to Renan and Barrio from Nuva Onio. He's taking on Carla cool Escavito So if you've got a record like he does and you train with Jose Aldo, then you are a scary dude. Yeah For all who's who hasn't lost this 2005 a bunch of scary days I think you choose the thought KO as well. Yeah Now these fights are only on Facebook But I will definitely be on Facebook to see Michael McDonald fight and this fight and this fight to the aperture Alright, so I think that's about it for UFC 130 which is kind of disiring and what do we have in the news? Well, UFC 130 which is coming up this Saturday is doing well below the usual ticket sales for pay-per-views in Las Vegas with less than 5000 seats sold well, what do you expect and they've had they've had such a street? They've had a pretty good streak of great main events from what I remember and this one is just I mean It's not their fault no because of the injuries this is this is really like people are expecting Mormon now No, usually in Vegas They give away a lot of tickets to the casinos and stuff, but still even with that considered This is still a low a low gate if you are vacationing in Las Vegas this weekend Just try and find free tickets cuz they are going to be everywhere. You probably get them for free with your favorite The other thing is Vegas always draws a little bit poorly cuz they run in Vegas all the time if they did this Card anybody want to see they people go. Yeah, true But I mean, you know if you're gonna go to if you're gonna go in Las Vegas where you run fights six times a year That market has seen a lot of USC fights It's not like they'll go for Brock Lesnar, but they're not gonna go for Jackson versus Hamill and it's not even a title or number one containers match. Yep Well, I don't know how many cities would go for Jackson versus Hamill in an on title match I mean, there's some I say Toronto and you come to Toronto They're gonna go Vegas, you know most American cities I don't see that I think you could do this if you do this fight, you know in Jackson's hometown If you did this yeah, but that come on. That's like you're I a favor in Sacramento like really that's good That's not for I a favor can draw in Sacramento There's no reason that Jackson can't draw in one city. Wow amazing of course. He's a draw But it just I just don't think against Hamill. I don't I didn't expect it's not an it's not a fight That excites people and it gets them thinking about it. It's not a shot And Nick Diaz is boxing promoter. Just said that a press release saying that he's not gonna box anymore because a big Opportunity in MMA is coming up. Would that be the fact that he's coaching the ultimate fighter against GSP? There are no no truth to the rumors, but that is the rumor. There's like Confirmed, but I mean there's certainly strongly strongly rumored Dana has denied it and He's ended there. He has also denied that there's gonna be a Montreal UFC show on December 10th Which would be the perfect combination of yeah ultimate fighter Diaz and GSP and Montreal fight Yep, just for our sake so we can go. I really hope that this yeah, let's just say we'll be waiting for tickets to go on sale for that Well, I mean the thing of it is this is why it's a match made in heaven Diaz was playing hardball and said he wasn't gonna pull out that boxing fight unless it was for a really really good shot in MMA Who else would you put GSP with at this point? We talked about this before he's the he's the most exciting choice right now Yeah, and right after Brock Lesnar and DeSondra's got clubbed in the ratings on Spike TV It needs to bring it up who are you gonna bring to Spike TV other than GSP the last guy who really really had a good season? Well, the talk is Bizbing and Stan is The I don't think he's gonna have issues with it would be of his licensing I don't think the lesson is gonna work out or Sorry because it was supposed to be sudden And now and now the talk is sliding Stan in there and that seems like the more likely one just based on what people who make these decisions Are saying yeah, I don't think so I spike is gonna care too much about Bizping versus Stan. They're gonna want GSP Yeah, if you if you want, you know Bizbing Stan or GSP Diaz you're gonna take GSP Diaz In a contract year, they've got enough Power in the negotiation to be like look if you want to renew with us for the next five years, you better give us GSP Oh for sure, and I want to see that more as well, but it's still I don't there's this terrible What you see Diaz? Yes, I just saw GSP and I mean as much as people think well Diaz is this wacky character He's gonna be like an absolute clown on the show. He actually coaches for his team and like everything I've heard about him as coach is that he's a pretty responsible solid guy I don't I don't I don't care about him flying off. I want to see him be responsible and coach Well, one of the reasons I'm not liking this season is because Brock isn't a good coach Well, that's one of the reasons I think Brock is actually his team is fairly even with with the Santos's team I mean and the other thing is part of the world draw of Diaz is that Diaz is such a villain and GSP is such a hero Well, I think that if you actually see Diaz, you know, obviously creative editing can do anything It was caustic proof, but I don't think Diaz is gonna be coming there be like you know what we should do Legalize it and I hate the French Yeah, he's not gonna do that, but he just needs to be himself He's a guy that you know says exactly what's on his mind all the time. He's Competition seriously, he's polarizing. That's the kind of character you want you don't want to clown in there I mean, you know caustic was was okay, but I would rather see Diaz being himself than caustic Trying too hard embellishing and trying too hard. Yep. So anyway, we don't know what's gonna happen with that But they'll be announcing it in the near future because the season's gonna be filmed by September I certainly don't think there's as much heat between Diaz and GSPs people There's no there's no heat whatsoever, but that's not These people respond to right, but I think caustic knew he was like, okay. Well, I've got to be the villain here Of course, it's just me. I'm just gonna be Diaz Diaz being Diaz is I think just as interesting if not more than caustic being a villain I really know so in the weekly channel Sunday update There's that big announcement last week that we talked about on the show for quite a while then He's you know pretty much screwed. Well, apparently an error in the like availability of rule 399 was made. I don't know what that means, but it turns out he can apply for a license at the end of June and This story is really hard to follow every week as punishment changes. Well, missions are making mistakes. Yeah Republican, maybe he'll be licensed in a month. I don't know I give up Yeah, the thing about commissions is that like they really are figurehead and rubber stamp bodies if casino is taught us anything Yeah, which I just watched last night great movie All right, well in any case like these commissions do they're all guys that are like they think it's not like they live the sport, you know Sun in his managed to confuse them which probably only took something shiny As far as him applying in June, he'd be fooled to they're gonna be far too mad at him at that point But I would imagine that if he goes outside of California and gets licensed somewhere like Texas say really next year California will let that stand, you know, so I think he'll be off for the year But I think that he'll manage to sneak on in the back door or in you know a gutter state And speaking of the Nevada State of the Commission They've agreed to allow monitors at every judge's station for all MMA events and states I just can't believe that they don't already do this You think it'd be obvious, but no apparently not Well, Greg and I had had really amazing seats at that MMA event in a really a last month And we're right up the front couple seats from the front and we still can see what's going on in the ring We had to look at the monitor because it's hard to see. Yeah, exactly I mean if you're too far you can't see the guys if you're too close. You got the cage obstructing That's right. So yeah, the monitors are key Particularly because there's a massive cage in the way and a lot of the ground fighting things are very very technical small things Whenever you're even considered it when something's happening on the other side of the cage and then one fighters back is to you You see nothing. Yeah, exactly at all nothing and how can the judges score that? No, you got to mix the experience with with the monitors It's just you're there you have the atmosphere around you, but you can also see the action Now I mentioned a story last week where Chris Lido was trying to raise money to keep a youth gym alive And how nice it was to have an MMA story that wasn't about people assaulting each other Well former UFC lightweight content or Hermes Frank has been arrested for first degree sex abuse and two counts of second degree Unlawful sexual penetration. Oh, man. So that lasted for a whole week. Wow Well, I think Frank is he's accused of being that to a 14-year-old girl who would have changed his gym So yeah, it's an actual level of disaster and former UFC heavyweight champion Rico Rodriguez Allegedly didn't like how much his cab ride to the club cost punched a cabbie in the head Hospitalized him and that threw a cop into a wall. Oh my god so maybe next week we go back to steps back exactly and Really the probably the biggest news of this whole week actually is UFC is closer than ever to being legalized in the state of New York That's gonna be you know what I I'm trying to equate that to Ontario. I don't think that's as big. I think the first New York It's gonna pale in comparison because in New York. They can go to New Jersey already exactly But in Ontario, there was just nothing but this is actually pretty pretty cool like the New York State Senate They just voted it in they've already gotten this far before there's another step I think it's the assembly or something they've got to do they've got to go to the assembly which is state Congress Where they fell last however the governor here has agreed that he will sign it provided it goes past the state in the state assembly So, I mean, it's a good step and New York is big if they get managed in square garden That's and that's that's important for maybe not maybe not for attendance as much as just the worldwide press and interest Yeah, look at how big a UFC 129 was all across Canada, right? Because Babe Ruth because Babe Ruth paid for the Yankees. There were other batters almost as good or just as good in that era No one knows about them if they played in Chicago Well, it's true New York is a big deal and what I call been Detroit for a little something to say about that and East Coast press who's playing who's the best batter on the angels? Never team West Coast batter Hey, so do you have a baseball show? No, the Giants were in New York and the Dodgers were in Brooklyn Anyway back to anyway, we're just about at a time. We're about to go watch the ultimate fighter. Are you guys excited? Yeah? Very excited. It's the quarter final. So it should be. Yeah, it's late in the season I mean the fights are getting a little bit better. I'm a little more invested in the characters. So all right And we'll be back next week. Yep. Have a good week. Yeah, see you [BLANK_AUDIO]
