[music] Hello and welcome to the Hammer. I'm your host Dave, returned after a week, to redo the show, and I'm joined as always by... How's your head feeling? Greg, how's it going guys? Of course. Steve. So I am back, gentlemen, and we have an excellent show for you. We're going to talk about EFC-120, Strike Force, Diaz vs. Nunes. We also have news, of course. You're listening to us live at 93.3 CFMU. You can also find us at thehammermma.com, iTunes, Zoom, and on local television. We are celebrities. We are everywhere. So let's get to some EFC. We begin with the EFC. So we've got the Bizping vs. Akiyama card coming up on Saturday. This actually has a fighter's card, no belts are being contended on it, but a bunch of really, really good fighters that are worth watching, and this one will be free on TV, so this will be going on Spike. So that's always a good thing. Bizping is going to take on Akiyama in the main event. Bizping is known for his excellent volume of boxing, and it's really, really good of escapism. Well, he's pretty well rounded. He's just not spectacular at anything. So if someone is better than him at one specific thing, they can exploit that. So like Henderson exploited his boxing, and Bonderley Silva exploited his takedown abilities, and he's kind of good at everything, but he's not great at anything, I find. He hasn't been very consistent, though, either. It looked like he was really going somewhere, but a couple of, I mean, isn't he winning one, losing one? Yeah, he's been a bit inconsistent, but that's as he gets higher up the card, he gets knocked out back down again, right? Well, the thing is, at this point in the middleweight division, because Henderson Silva's eaten so many contenders, it doesn't take a lot to get into contention. I have to figure that the winner of Akiyama, Bizping, will be on the short list of people to take on Anderson at some point in the next year. They'll have to get over to the first. Why do they win two fights in a row? They'd have to get over Leavin first, because Leavin just beat Akiyama. No, the thing with Akiyama, though, I mean, he's what, too long, oh no, he had the one close, like, he had the lost two losses. He beat Belcher in the lost two. Lost to Leavin. He beat Belcher, but it was a little controversial. Yeah, it was. Yeah. So, I mean, a win here against Bizping doesn't really scream title shot for me for me. No, absolutely not. Absolutely not even close. But this, a win over Bizping after five of the night with Leavin, if he gets another win, keeping in mind that Anderson Silva is most likely going to eat Vitor, Belfort, and Leavin, and we have no idea when Chal Sun and we'll be back, it's not completely unlikely that Akiyama for the two wins in a row, two wins in a row, including this one is definitely required at a minimum. Yeah. But for Bizping, you know, this win and another win, either one of these guys is going to be short track. That's why they're the main event. Now, for Akiyama, his judo is spectacular when he wants to use it, he can take Bizping down. He can take down anyone, I think. However, on the ground, he's not great at Nawazi, he does not like to get submissions, and he loves to play the crowd, he loves to throw his hands and try to score a really exciting fight rather than the win. So what's your call for this? I think Bizping would be much, Akiyama would be much better taking this fight to the ground. I think if once the crowd gets riled up for Bizping, it's going to be the same thing with the leave-in fight. He won't go to the ground, he won't use the tools that kind of have made a name for him, and he'll wind up boxing with Bizping and not to feed him. I think Akiyama is going to play this smart, and I think he's going to take it. Well, the thing with Akiyama is he's got a phenomenal judo game, he's got a questionable boxing game, but he also has got a very questionable cardio. He tends to gas, late in fights, as he did in Belcher and as he did with leave-in. Bizping has no problem with cardio, and he has no problem escaping if he gets taken down, and as much as he doesn't have the power to knock out really anyone in any division. I don't see him. His volume of punches is what wins decisions, and I see him winning this by decision. I think he'll be able to escape from Akiyama on the ground, he'll be able to throw up enough punches without worrying about needing knocked out by Akiyama, that he'll just score enough points. Plus, he's going to be in front of a very, very partisan crowd in London. They are going to be loving Bizping, and they are going to be cheering from Brazil firstly. I think he wins this win by decision. Oh, they're saying this is going to be the biggest card in the history of the UK, because they are, you know, Bizping is just such a monster there now. You've got Bizping, and you've got Hardy too, right? So that's going to be... And Hathaway, I mean, you've got big British names are on this card. Anyway... Yeah, I just... I want to talk about Hardy. Alright. So we go forward to Hardy, who Greg wants to talk about. Greg, tell us about Hardy versus Condit. I think this is going to be fantastic. Dan Hardy is just a block of wood. The guy doesn't go down. Condit has so many tools that he showed, and it was Rory McDonald's fight. He just... Excuse me. He's got so many tools. They both have so many tools. Hardy's fights are almost always exciting. Even the GSP fight he was outmatched, so I'm not going to include that one. But it wasn't him that brought the fight slightly less exciting. It's GSP. Well, a safe but effective style. Yeah. So I'm not going to include that fight, but I mean, I like this fight with Davis, I like this fight with Swick. He throws great hands, he's strong, you're not going to knock the guy out, and Condit just has so many tools. I mean, this is going to be awesome. Yeah, Condit looked excellent in his last fight, but he actually got beat up for the first bit. But I mean, in the end, he showed real, real hard, and yeah, I'm a huge Condit fan. Hardy is great in the state up. His wrestling is a little bit suspect to me, and his submission game and the submission defense are fairly long-existent with the exception of the fact that the guy has got incredible pain threshold that he's not going to tie up unless you work with him. He didn't tie up to GSP, that says something. That says something about his submission defense. But he never got out of a submission and reversed it. He just kind of stood in the direction of his mission. And just took it. I'm not tapping. I don't know whether... I don't know whether... I got to say, I don't know whether you can base Dan Hardy's submission defense on a fight with GSP. But anyone's submission defense is going to look like garbage against GSP. But with against Condit, Condit is coming in with a couple of advantages. He's just as good in the stand-up in my opinion as Dan Hardy is. Oh yeah. He is much better at wrestling. He is much better at getting submissions on the ground and getting out of submissions. He is much more well-rounded. He has a very, very good ground and pound game, which is something that Dan Hardy may well be vulnerable to because GSP chose not to pound him. He went for submissions. I don't know. I think Hardy is really too tough to succumb to ground and pound. But if you wrestle a guy down and you start elbowing him in the face... That's assuming you can wrestle someone as strong as Dan Hardy down. If you're not... He just needs to pull it off. Oh, GSP. Wow. Okay. But the other thing... Let's base all our fighters around GSP. But Condit's very good at takedowns. He's great at takedowns. He's dragged down. Worry McDonald. He's got great takedown defense. So he needed to do... Not nearly as strong as Dan Hardy. Yeah. He's got a wrestler than Hardy. Well, he's a better wrestler than Hardy. I'll totally give you that. But it's about... You know, you don't have to be a great wrestler to just be able to stuff a takedown. Yeah. But okay. Condit is a very good wrestler. I think he can get the takedown on Hardy. I think he can pound him from the ground. Keep in mind that Condit is coming out of Greg Jackson's gym, which is now beaten Dan Hardy before they know exactly how to beat him. Condit was a training player. You've got to make fun. You do have a good game plan. Of GSP. You know, the original fight where GSP beat Hardy, you know, he's going to comment knowing how to beat this guy. I'm going to say that Condit takes the fight to the ground, scores enough damage. Even if he doesn't get the knockout, he wins this one by decision. Close decision, but I think he wins it. I'm going to call Hardy by decision. I would love to side with Greg and with Dave because I really... Condit is one of my favorite fighters, but there's just something about it. I just think that Hardy will beat him standing and Condit will just not get the chance to finish him. You can't see Hardy losing this fight. It also is just feels right. The thing is too, Dan Hardy has had some time since that GSP fight to adapt and to work a takedown defense game plan, and he's got to know Condit's a great wrestler. So you know, I think he's going to adapt and really work on his ability to stuff the takedowns. I think he's going to come up big and strong, try to throw his hands, Condit's got enough of a chance to do that. He's going to weather it. And then at some point during the fight, just like with Rory McDonald, Greg Jackson's going to say, Condit, go get fired up and Condit will hulk up. [laughter] Take not Hardy down and count to Bloody Paul. Well, that last Condit fight was really interesting because he really did get beat up by a rookie for over two rounds. And then as soon as Greg Jackson said, "Dude, go to war," that's the game plan, he went to war. What a tough dude. But he's beat up. You know what? He also got beat up for two rounds, and I think if I could see it happening again. He got beat up by two rounds by McDonald's, who's a much better technical striker than Hardy is. He's not nearly as powerful, but he's like, "I'm in complete disagreement with that." I see Hardy. Harvey Doll is not a better striker than Dan Hardy. I see Hardy annihilating him on his feet, and I think that's where the fight's going to begin. I think it's where it's going to end, especially when the crowd gets all hot like that. The guy's won a brawl. And you got a factor, the home court advantage too, right? Yep. Okay. Yup. So, Hart's with Condit. Mine's with Hardy. Okay. Two calls for Carter for Hardy. It'd be a good one though. I'm thinking Condit's got this one, but we'll see. Now, we go forward to John Hathaway versus Mike Pyle. Hathaway is best known. He's an alumni of the Ultimate Fighter, but he really showed his medal against Diego Sanchez in his last fight. He kicked his ass. He was really Diego in the first round and just stayed on top, pounded him out, and just wore Diego to a pulp. Now Mike Pyle might not be the best known name, but he's got a really, really good guard game. He's really, really good off his back. He's two and two in the UFC. He's got, I mean, his Windsor by submission, the guy, and actually even before the UFC, he can finish by submission, which, I mean, that can always help you want to fight. He trains with extreme culture, but I just don't know, but I just don't, but I don't see, I don't see this guy with an average record and some BJJ beating a guy who is just on the fire of John Hathaway and Hathaway just looked like a world beater when he beat Diego. Now, granted, Diego is not really well suited for welterweight, but still holds, beaten Diego Sanchez is a pretty decent feather in your cap. People were shot, like, I mean, people weren't shocked that BJ Penn beat him. People were shocked that BJ Penn annihilated Diego like that. Like the fact that Hathaway did it, it puts him in a very elite class of God. It does. I think Hathaway did. It's Hathaway's fight. I actually have to call Hathaway as well with this one. As good as Pyle is on the ground, as good as his guard game is, Hathaway's shown that he's got really good top control. I don't see Pyle being able to get a submission on Hathaway. I think Hathaway's going to be able to keep the fight standing up with this really, really good wrestling. And I think if it goes to ground, he'll be able to pull out of submissions and just pound and pound like you did with Diego. Also, I've heard Hathaway's name put in the same class as guys like Bones and Bader and stuff as these young guys who are just to look unstoppable. They're calling him the next great fighter from Britain at this point. I believe it. That's as far as nicknames go, that's a pretty impressive nickname to have. So, we'll see if he can live up to here. Yeah, that seems like a pretty open and check case for Hathaway. So there we go forward to the Heavyweights. Chick Congo takes on Travis Brown. Chick Congo is making his return after showing that he still has what it takes to hang with some of the Heavyweights in the division. Travis Brown is coming off of a crushing victory over James McSweeney where he ground and pounded him half to death. Yeah, that was the only UFC fight, but I mean, what a great way. And he also beat up James McSweeney, you had it coming. Anytime you beat up James McSweeney, I'm happy James Brown did it in style. I got nothing against James McSweeney, I don't know, there's just something about him. I mean, I actually don't. He's not like a bull do. I actually don't like really like him as a fighter. I think he's really not that great, but I did kind of like him on the ultimate fighter, but I see nothing in James McSweeney. Well, yeah, I don't think he has the potential to really go anywhere, but I mean, I don't really care whether he wins this fight. Yeah, I think as a fighter, he's nothing great. And as a showman, he's playing a villainous character that's very unlikable, and he intends to do that. And I think that if you're going to play that character, you should at least be able to take on Travis Brown and not get embarrassed. Let's talk about this actual fight. I think Kong is going to win. Of course. Kong, of course. Kong, of course. I wouldn't go so far to say, of course, but yeah, Kong is going to take this. Here's the thing. Kongo is a great striker, and he does have really, really well, surprisingly well-rounded game plan for this. He can wrestle down to the ground. He can pound on him. That is something he does well. With that being said, Travis Brown is just as titanically sized as Kongo. He is a huge guy, and he's got a good wrestling background. I think that this fight stays on his feet, and Kongo, to me, his chance has been checked before, mere match to do it, I think Brown is going to do it. I think Brown keeps the fight standing up. I think he counter-punch his Kongo, who's always been a wild-swinner, and managed to win this fight as he did with James. He's got that look in his eyes like he's seen the future. So yeah. I saw it decided with Kongo, but he almost sold me there. Not me. So I'll call him Brown to keep his 10-in-0 record. I think he's going to extend it to 11-0. Alright, we'll see. Moving forward to welterweights, James Wilk from the UK will take on Clyde Patrick from Just Up the Road from Us in Mississauga. Greg, you're a Mississauga boy. What do you think of Clyde Patrick? Has he met him? I think he's awesome, and I think he's going to win. I agree. In a nutshell. James Wilkes is just, I mean, after winning the ultimate fighter, he just has not looked good. He's 2-in-1. Yeah, he's not looked good. And I think Clyde Patrick looked great in his last fight. So yeah, it's going to be Patrick. He's another guy that subs a lot of people. Yep. Oh yeah, big time. He's also pretty well-rounded on his feet. He's a fairly dynamic guy all around. Yeah, I think he's going to win. Really? I wouldn't be surprised if Wilkes is the next ultimate fighter alumni to get cut. I just don't see much in the day. He's on the way, I think. I mean, I can't remember how his last fight went. I know his first fight, he lost, right? His first fight. Yeah, it's 2-in-1, 2-in-1, yeah. So and he lost his first fight. I think he's won the subsequent two, but now he's just- The police force were decisions, they won. He hasn't looked good. He hasn't looked great. Well, Patrick is 12-in-1. He's a Canadian guy, the UK crowd will be behind Wilkes, but Patrick's performed before under pressure. I think he's going to win this one as well. So we have to side with our fellow Canadian, Go Claude Patrick. Let me go forward to the undercard, Rob Broton is going to take on Venezius Corros, Steve Cantwell will take on Stennis Law-Nedkov, Paul Sass will take on Mark Holst, and then as far as guys that are kind of unusual to see on the undercard, Spencer King-Fisher will take on Kurt Warburton. I have to figure that Spencer Fisher's going to win this one. He's a vet. He's very, very well-developed. I don't know Kurt Warburton at all. And the Fisher's this far down the card. Maybe he really needs this one. Yeah, he's probably pretty hungry. I hope he wins. I like him. James McSweeney of Ultimate Fighter Fame reeks his return after his devastating loss to Travis Brown to take on Fabio Maldonado. Not Fabio Maldonado is a pretty slick submission game. As far as I remember, James McSweeney has been topped out before. I think Maldonado will take this one by submission. And then James McSweeney will be looking for employment elsewhere, probably as a training coach in Greg Jackson's camp. I think that's what he already is, to be honest. I mean, he's already a striking coach. So that should be his job. So you think Maldonado's going to put him out? I don't care. Yeah, I mean either. That's true. I'm sorry. But I don't think that fight's not going to beat me. Who am I, James McSweeney's mom? And then light heavyweight serial diabetes, the snake, takes on Alexander Gustafson. Gustafson is a very, very big Swede who is very, very popular in the UK, best known for his incredible tight white shorts that he fought against Phil Davison. Serial diabetes is an extremely good striker from K-1, phenomenal on his feet, took out Louis Arthur Kane like it was like it was nothing. What do you think for this one? Oh, should be a good brawl. Gustafson? Sure. Gustafson likes to quench, but I think that, you know, it's not going to be enough to stop diabetes. I think diabetes gets the knock out here. I think this would be knock out of the night. I'm going to go Gustafson. You're going to think Gustafson is going to drag it out? Yeah, I think it's going to drag it out. I think it's going to be a good fight. This is going to be a, an entertaining one to watch. That's one that I hope makes TV because it should be a good brawl. I think that unless this one goes three rounds, this one will almost certainly make TV. They have high hopes for diabetes, they have high hopes for Gustafson, and this one has all the makings of an entertaining fight of two big guys battling. And speaking of good roles, let's talk strike force. Yeah, let's talk strike force. So strike force. This was last Saturday night. This was last Saturday. We had a couple of interesting fights on this one. In the lightweights, Josh Thompson took on Gisius Calvicante and picked up an unanimous decision victory. Tyrone Woodley, the developing stud of the light of the Walter White Division. Looked great once again. Looked great against Andrea Galvelo. This is the most serious test to date. I want to go back to that Thompson fight for a second actually. That Woodley fight was pretty good. He looked great. The fight was over very quickly. But Thompson, that fight, these guys were in submissions for so long and he ever gave up. And then he went up, Thompson went up getting the win, but he lost that third round. He called off the judges. It's such a decisive back. He won the first two rounds. I'll give it that. I'm going to dispute that he won the fight. That third round, I don't think he landed a strike or a move. He got dominated and one of the rest gave it a 30-27 for Thompson to the point where Thompson grabs the mic and says, "I'm glad I won, a win's a win." There's no way I won that third round. These judges are messed up. There's no way I could have possibly won that round. Yeah. And I agree, obviously. And I think it's kind of cool for Thompson to actually say that, to say, "Look, you know, judges, what are you doing?" I think he's going to have a hard time in his next fight because I think the judges are going to fight. He's going to be a little bit extra with that one. Really fun fight, though. It's just the bad judging. The Thompson always. Seriously, out of hand. Yeah. Thompson always puts on a good show. Well, I mean, the judges need to be trained for what to look for. Anything is a lot of times when you're walking with your resume and you're saying, "Well, I was a judge before." They're like, "Well, what are you judge for?" And a lot of times-- Miss America. -- Well, the thing is it's bad because he knows what a leg kick looks like. He actively won't call it. He knows exactly what it is. He just won't call it, which is even worse. Like I'd rather he be slightly-- I'd rather he be, you know, a little bit misinformed than just outwardly wrong and proud of the fact that he's wrong. Anyway. On the judge, he needs to be fixed. So anyways, Woodley, eight Andrea Goveo alive. Woodley is quickly becoming a contender in the Walter Wait Division and we'll discuss that in a bit. Yeah, word his title shot soon and probably deserved. I agree. Probably well deserved. So then we go forward to the Women's Walter Wait Championship, homegrown Canadian fighters, Sarah Kaufman, took on Marlo's Conan. Kaufman looked to be struggling with Conan's reach during this fight, got her with a couple of good shots in the third round that until Conan down, but Conan worked off her back and got a beautiful submission on bar. Yeah. Well, I was really-- I was worried from the start with this fight. The reach was insane. The reach was insane. Kaufman looked confused. She didn't look like she really-- she was trying to get her range. She took her a long time to get her range. She wound up figuring out how to get on top of Conan and I was getting excited because I wanted Kaufman to win. She got some occasional ground. She got some ground and pound going. I thought that, okay, she's turned it around, she's doing the Sarah Kaufman thing and then she just got totally caught in that arm bar. And Conan actually felt really bad after this because she thought that she dislocated Kaufman's elbow because she held the arm bar for too long, but the ref was sleeping at the switch. And again, the ref was a little late. You agree though? Because they were really arguing about it. The ref did seem late to you. Yeah, I see he seemed late. And the thing is, you got to hold the submission. I mean, it's one thing to get tapped and let it go, but that's just mean you're going to win. You got to wait for the ref to stop. Yeah, you can't blame Conan for that. Yeah, no, I don't blame her at all. Particularly when that competition, there was that little fake tap with Heroki-- With the Kano? Oh, Heroki and Kano, yeah. Where she let go of the submission and then the rest of the day, I got it and see it. Yeah, you never know. You've got to hold it till the ref pulls you apart. And that's why the refs need to be on point and ready to go. But Conan looked like she was going to cry afterwards. She was so sorry about hurting her-- about hurting Kaufman's arm. And yeah, it was kind of a fortunate way to end that fight and also kind of fortunate that Kaufman lost because-- I thought she was making some real strides in making that really difficult. That really didn't mean something. She fought. She argued with strike force management to get her title fight on a real card. It was a good fight. Yeah. Well, it was a solid fight. That elevated it, the status of that belt. Conan, who is now the champion, won it on a real card, not on a challenger's card. That's right. And now she's going to take on some of the strike forces darlings, me and she say, "Hey, should be good." I'd guarantee that this will be on a real card and that's because of Kaufman. So even if Kaufman never gets a belt back, she's contributed something significant to the division. And with that being said, she started to find her range against Conan and she got caught. I think she's getting that belt back in the next year. Anyone who caught feet or got caught, exactly? So, I mean, well done, Camarlo's Conan. Your championship was well earned and we salute you. I do think Conan will be able to suppress me, should take. I agree. But I think Kaufman's coming back for that belt and I think she's going to get it. So and then we go forward to Nick Diaz versus KJ Nunes. This was a fight that both these fighters wanted really, really badly. A lot of bad bloods hated Nick Diaz. Nick Diaz hates KJ Nunes. KJ Nunes moved up from lightweight to take on the much bigger Nick Diaz. This was his first welterweight fight ever. First welterweight fight ever. Strike first booking. Strike first booking. Now, Moro Renaldo commented on one of what a beautifully technical match this was of some of the most elite striking you're going to see. At one point there was a spinning back kick. There was a couple of, you know, axe kicks and I believe there was one like Totsu Maki's in Pukaiaku, like Ryu throws. I'm sorry. There was absolutely nothing technical about the striking in this match. For Moro Renaldo, like three round or whatever, how long it was into the match to say what a great technical battle, like are you, what fight are you watching, dude? Seriously. I enjoyed that. I thought the fight was really enjoyable. It was a great fight. But it wasn't technical at all. It was two guys punch each other in the face for five rounds. Yeah, exactly. That's entertaining in its own right. But it wasn't technical. It was just, oh, Moro Renaldo, like just wait a ruin, a good fight. Well, not ruin it, but just. You know, like he angry. He was overselling it. He was talking about how great it was to the point where he detracted from the greatness of the fight. Yeah, exactly. But he needs to just not talk. But one thing that he really did point out beautifully was the way that Nick Diaz really was heaping on the punishment on KJ Nunes after losing the first two rounds. No, no, he lost that second round. He lost. First round. He won the first round. He lost second round. He lost the third round, in my opinion, and the fourth round he came out with a beautiful spinning back kick, which really had an insult to KJ Nunes, two rounds in a row. He managed to really insult after injuring KJ Nunes. Because he was so far ahead that just that spinning back kick was just insulting. To be fair, the judges did give him most of the round. They give Diaz most of the rounds, so. They did give Diaz most of the rounds, but come on, there was no way he dominated any of those rounds. Yeah, that's true. And if he did dominate maybe one round, he dominated. And I think a leading, not to take anything away from Diaz as well, because, you know, I think Diaz is pretty good. But he did break Nunes's jaw in the first round, and Nunes broke his hand in the second round. So all credit to Nunes. And Nunes kept fighting for three more rounds after breaking his hand and his jaw. Got punched on the broken jaw multiple times. Tons of times. Didn't go out. And he punched with his broken hand and kept punching with his brain. But how many times he got punched and how many punches he threw? They call this the fight of a thousand strikes, because this may have set a record with over a thousand strikes being thrown. This is one incident where that like vomitus stat pack at the end of the fight actually makes him sense. It was strike force. This is kind of a little bit of a pet pee for a strike force puts up after a fight, a little diagram with the punches thrown and missed and percentages. So much stats. Yeah, as Greg said, it's like a vomit stats on you. It's just, it's too much information. It doesn't mean anything. They circle irrelevant things. But this is one where they can say they can point to it. A thousand strikes were thrown while it might be a record. That's what I want to see stats. Every fight. Yeah. But this was, this was like the the chain, the chain Kong check fight. Chasing junk. Chasing junk. Like versus. Yeah. Just call the Koreans on it. The Korean zombie versus let her see a like blown up for five rounds. This was just two guys bashing each other until one of them was fell, fell, was going to fall over. And then when it became clear that one of them wasn't going to fall over, they just kept bashing each other more. Nick went for some of his terrible single leg drag tape. It was bad. He's going to cop and news is having none of it. And yeah, Diaz picks up the decision victory to retain his welterweight championship. Well learned. Yeah. Oh, definitely. For sure. A really, a really fun fight as much as we're, we're, we're kind of like ripping on parts of it. It was, it was a really fun fight. It was a great fight. Well, the thing is, we're not really ripping on the commentary is what we're ripping on. The, the real highlight may have come after the fight because when Diaz was walking backstage, they had Miller through some insults on them, they got into a war of words, and then they threw a water, went in through a water bottle at the other guy and they got into a real fistfight. So, here we go again. So hey, you know what? We're going to get another Diaz grudge match apparently. So this is all good. I don't see Diaz in mayhem. Me too. Can't wait. It's great. Diaz, you don't need to make feuds for Diaz. He just find, he just find the guy who hates them and he just, he's just himself and since all you need to be really. Diaz, I mean, mayhem is already coming off as a suspension after the game in the other fistfight. He may get another suspension. Diaz is a clown. Like, can't, can't, can't put yourself like a champion, my friend, this is terrible. At least he didn't do it in the ring this time. And the first thing, and the first, the first brawl wasn't really his fault, and I'm not a big Diaz supporter. No, it kind of was. Like, it certainly wasn't Jake Shields's fault. He didn't throw any punches. I saw Gilbert Melendez and the two Diaz brothers. The Diaz brothers. Something on and down from the end of the line. Scarface style. I don't like the idea of a team of jerks, you know, that's like the NWO and UFC. You're in strike for us, you know, a surprise Mar and Allen and throw in a wrestling reference with respect to that. With that being said, Jake Shields may well get his shot at, uh, he may have to cut weight and come down the welter way to get his shot at, uh, shields, but, um, sorry, Diaz, with that being said, with Diaz looking not that great against wrestling and not being able to solidly control KJ Noons who is much smaller, Tyrone Woodley, wow, he's going to eat this guy in my opinion. Yeah. At least a phenomenal wrestler. There's, he takes this fight to the ground and abuses Diaz in my opinion. I, I think he will win. I'm not sure if he'll get the next shot, but I, I think he would win. Well, if, if mayhem ends up being suspended, which is entirely possible, given that he's already been suspended a couple of times, Woodley might be next on deck. If not, he'll be next after mayhem, cause I don't think he ends, you know, we'll get a come down for the pal that he's been once the fight. So, but, uh, do we have any news before we, uh, just, just a quick one, uh, Dana White said that if Jake Shields beats Martin Kamen, that he gets the next, uh, title shot at the George St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck winner, Fitch just got dropped. Yeah, he really did. Everyone contenders fight, uh, Fitch is pretty angry about it. And now has challenged the winner of Kamen and Shields, hoping he can win himself a title shot again. Sorry, buddy. Not going to work. I've always said. And Dean has already promised it then. My, my, my thing is I've always said my dream is to see a Shields versus Fitch fight. So boring. And I, I really want it to be a five-runner fight. So my hope is that Shields gets to this fight with GSP, pulls a chase on it and wins it. And then Fitch gets next and we can see Fitch versus Shields for five rounds. As terrible as that sounds. Do you guys think, uh, Fitch is being screwed? He's being screwed. I mean, there's no question he's being screwed. He's being screwed on the basis. He's not getting it. But the reason he's not getting it is because he's a boring fighter who has a habit of melting off the data. Mm. Yeah. Keep in mind. He can't cross the boss. Right. Yeah. It's a privately held company. The thing is, Dana's like, I want you to fight the cost check and Fitch is like, no, I'm not going to do it. Dana's like, why am I going to get you a fight that you want that? You know, he's, he's offering you fights. You don't want to. I mean, you say, well, I'm going to fight the champion for the belt. You're going to have to fight with the guy who puts it in front of you. So you think you should throw some spin kicks and do some stand up in this section? I think you need to do some meat. Pull a submission. You take the guy down. Do a submission. Finish a guy. Finish a fight. Learn an arm triangle. Anyway, that's pretty much it. Well, thank you very much for tuning in.
