We mix up the formula and start with the news.

The struggle to bring GSP to Toronto continues, Ricardo Arona says he's coming to the UFC and MMA fighters turn to crime and the movies.

We review UFC 114, a long card of decisions and upsets.  Almost all our picks were wrong, but new stars reveal themselves in the fray.

[music] Hello and welcome to the Hammer. I'm your host, Steve. Join us always by, "Granny has to go in, guys." So, welcome to our show. We've got an interesting one for you here. My friend, Steve, is not here. You had to go for concert-related purposes. However, we're going to mix up the format a little bit on June 2nd. So, what we're going to do is we're going to start with the news, and then we're going to go from the news to a quick review of the Rashad Rampage Pay-Per-View. So, starting with the news. Rampage Rashad was expected to be one of the biggest shows of the year, and it was. It is now trending at 950,000 buys, which is just under a million, for a title fight that is huge. So, this is going to be one of their biggest of all times. But the problem is that it wasn't an exciting pay-per-view. So, this is kind of like sitting your worst foot forward for a bunch of new customers. I don't think it's going to matter that much, but it's definitely... I mean, it's not like it was an embarrassment. I mean, all the fights went through, and they weren't very exciting, but at least there wasn't any ridiculous controversy, or Anderson Silva jumping around like an idiot. Yeah, they didn't disgrace the company, but they didn't do a lot to sell the next pay-per-view. That's what it comes down to. So, going forward to the news, we're going to start with some local news, and as much as Toronto is local. We start with the actual specifics of what the Canadian office is dealing with to try to get UFC sanctioned here in Ontario. There is a section of the law, section 83, which forbids all price fighting with the exception of boxing. So, that is what is preventing the UFC from coming here. The goal of the UFC is to change that law by either getting UFC qualified as boxing or by removing that law entirely. Now, or adding the UFC as an exception to that law. There's sanctioned, I mean, that's the way that there's sanctioned. There's court search sanctioned as boxing is sanctioned in the States, right? And all the other provinces, because they have to abide by the scoring system and the same judges and all that. So, yeah, I mean, I guess that's just, you know, the plan. It makes logical sense. Yeah. Now, if they manage to get this law passed, this identity law passed in timely fashion, they want a debate at the Roger Center in Toronto with GSP versus Josh Costcheck. Now, if they do not, they're going to take that show and they're going to run it in the new Pittsburgh arena, and Costcheck is a Pittsburgh boy. Yeah. So, they're expecting you'll have local support there. So, that is the plan. If we manage to get it timely fashion, GSP in Toronto, if not, GSP versus Costcheck, Pittsburgh. I got to say, I don't think it's going to happen. I don't think it's going to happen in time. The wheels take too long to be able to-- Yeah. And the fact that it's not like you have to get this done just before the fight, you have to get it done in a manner where you can set the fight up-- Both the payer venue. You have to set up all these things. I mean, there's, what, two months or something that usually give in advance, or maybe even more of a show before they announce it. So, I don't foresee it happening. I think it's going to end up going to Pittsburgh. I think it probably will, but the wheels are in motion, so that speaks well for, you know, the chances of the UFC coming to Ontario eventually. It will. It will eventually, but not in time for GSP Costcheck. So, on the 28th, Matt Hughes was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame at their Fan Expo. Deserveantly so. Deservely so. He held two of the longest titles on runs of all time, starting with his victory over Carlos Newton, back at, I believe, UFC 87. Who happens to be Canadian? Canadian. So-- He's also the winningest fighter in UFC history. Hughes is the winningest fighter in UFC history. I mean, if Laddell-- If Laddell-- More wins in the cage than any one-button Chuck Liddell. No, he has got more than Chuck Liddell. He's got one more than Chuck Liddell now. Because he beat Sarah at the tie-in, and then he beat Hens O'Gracie and Paston. So if Chuck Liddell beats Rich Franklin, he'll tie Matt Hughes. But, I don't know. Because if you remember, Chuck Liddell was out for a while, right? And Hughes has had two fights. However, Hughes isn't done yet, either. I mean, I think he's got more left in his career than Jackson does. Eventually, I mean, GSP is eventually going to pass all of them because he's so much younger. GSP is only 28, or 29, I think. So, I mean, he'll surpass both of them as long as he sticks around. So another little story coming out of Fan Expo. At the Fan Expo, they had all the fighters were there signing autographs and meeting fans. The most popular was, of course, GSP. There was a seven-hour lineup to meet G. George St. Pierre and get his autograph and whatnot. Anderson Silva was also there. He was not too happy to be there signing autographs and whatnot. And actually, you know, talking to his fans. So, Chaal Signing came by and said, "You know, Anderson, you don't look too happy to be here. Well, don't worry. In two months from now, you're not going to have to worry about it anymore, because I'm going to beat you for the belt." And apparently, Anderson Silva got up and left his booth and they had a confrontation at Fan Expo. That's awesome. Between Chaal and Anderson Silva. So, Anderson now is motivated for this fight. He's not going to be taking this one too lightly, I don't think. You know what, though? You never know what Silva is going to do, though. He's motivated for the fight, but at the same time, if he thinks that he might be motivated to humiliate, you know, he might be motivated to humiliate Sonnen. And if it winds up where he'll feel him out for the first minute or so and then realize, "Oh, there's no way this guy's taking me down," he'll just put on another fiasco like he did in Dubai. Well, Chaal Signing went on to make a little comment to the press that was gathered through Fan. He says that the last thing he promised his father before his father passed away, this was back when he ordered. He says, "Well, I have my champion," was that he would one day become a world champion. And he says that that is the only promise to his father he is not fulfilled. And he's going to take time out of running for the U.S. state representative. He's the president, and he's running for two fight Anderson Silva. So he is driven to win this fight. He feels like he owes it to his fallen father. Well, stylistically, I mean, it matches up pretty well. If there's a style that's going to be Anderson Silva, it's probably going to be the grinding Chaal Signing Styles. Yeah. So we go forward from that to a couple of fighters that are coming back. First of all, Ricardo Orona, best known for his fights in Pride and Dream. He lost to Shogun, the final of the Grand Prix, right? He lost Shogun in the final of the Grand Prix for Shogun to become the Grand Prix champion. However, he does hold wins over Waterloo Silva over, you know, Alistair Overein, the Strike Force heavyweight champion. He also has a very, very controversial split decision with a fighter named Fedor Milianco. Yeah. And a lot of people feel that Ricardo won that fight. And the fader was favored by the judges because he's Fedor. Yeah. So, I mean, Ricardo, he's not a well-known name, but he was a guy who beat a lot of well-known names. Yeah. He is a great fighter. He told the Brazilian Tatami magazine that he has been signed to the UFC for a reasonable contract, and he's playing and coming to the UFC to fight some of the other Pride guys that he thinks have made names themselves in the UFC. Yeah. But weren't as good as he was. Yeah, well, it makes sense. I mean, if that's the place to be, it's the place where you're going to make your money. And while you've got a name, I mean, fight fans are going to know Ricardo Orona. I mean, he's not, you know, he's not Rampage, but they'll know his name, and they'll come out to see him. Well, the other thing is, because Pride had an anti-timity role, and fights were stood up very often, Orona is a grappler in the Jiu-Jitsu specials. Yeah. He always had that handicap of if he took a fight to the ground too long and took him, you know, a minute to develop a position. Yeah. The rough would interfere. And also the whole kicking to the head and stomping in the head doesn't help a Jiu-Jitsu guy very much either. Like the Shogun. The Shogun fight was a perfect example of that. Shogun just stomped him. And yeah, Orona never really got his game plan underway. So when UFC held a bigger opportunity to do that. Exactly. The UFC style, it stylistically matches up to his fairly well. So we'll see what he can do when he actually comes with UFC. He is obviously much older now, so that's a factor too. Meanwhile, Bobby Lashley, one of the big stars of Strike Force, is out. He was expected to fight on the 16th of this month. Unfortunately, he has injured his knee, and that will be pushed back to an undefined future fight. Yeah. So that's maybe, maybe Strike Force. Maybe Strike Force will have folded before he gets to fight again. Yeah. Well, 16 and a half months is my question, so. And then in the unfortunate news for MMA fans and MMA fighters, we have three separate scandals involving mixed martial artists. The first is Jarrett Wyatt. You probably don't know him because he's not a hugely successful fighter. He's mostly fought on minor cards. Unfortunately, you probably will hurt him soon. He is involved in a murder scandal in Eryka, California. He murdered 21 Taylor Powell in his standing trial for it. Now, the reason why this is news is because Jarrett Wyatt is insane. He didn't just kill Taylor Powell. He decided to remove his eyes and his heart when Taylor Powell was still alive. Oh, my God. Exciting that he believed ingesting the heart would give him power. What? So, this is definitely not going to help the body of the sport. Wow. Because this guy is gone. You know, athletes have gone crazy before, but this guy's gone way crazy. That's unbelievable. I didn't know what to say about that. That's like a terrible lecture. So, I mean, no one knows exactly what has happened. He's saying the charges and saying that he was framed for this. So, we'll see what goes on with that, but that's kind of a black eye for the sport. Yeah, a little bit. Not a good time for it. The other black eye for the sport amongst the three. Lee Murray, who is best known for, well, semi-well known for his win at UFC 46, but best known for in the post-show, when someone came up to hug his mentor, Pat Milletich, Lee Murray read it wrong and attacked the person, starting an all-out brawl, which landed in his street fight with him and Tito Ortiz, where he knocked Tito Ortiz out. Tito Ortiz is involved in this, too. Yes. And he knocked him out. Well, Lee Murray, after that, unfortunately, because of that incident, he was not welcome in the UFC. Yeah. He fought in Rage Cage against Anderson Silva and lost. Oh, I didn't think. Deciding that his career was not going well for mixed martial arts. He went to the next logical conclusion. He, his wife, and two of his training partners, robbed the securities depot in Kent, United Kingdom for its sum total of 53 million pounds. What? The largest bank ticed in the United Kingdom. That's like 100 grand. Yes. I know 100 grand, 100 million. So, after he masterminded the bank robbery, he escaped to Morocco, which does not have an extradition treaty with England. Yeah. He was briefly arrested in Morocco due to the United Kingdom offering a terrorist wanted in Morocco. Yeah. In exchange for him. Yeah. The Moroccan government arrested him and held him in his stay in prison. He was known for his escape attempts and also for becoming a drug lord in prison. Finally, after all this, the United Kingdom has given up its extradition and said that they're going to pass jurisdiction to Morocco as he's a Moroccan citizen. He is being charged and tried and sentenced for the United Kingdom's bank heist, the securities depot bank heist, in Morocco and he will be in jail for the next 10 years. Yeah. Wow. So, Lee Lightney Murray, after his career as a mixed martial artist, went on to become a crime lord. Yeah. A Moroccan prison drug lord. A Moroccan prison drug lord who, with a successful movie style bank like oddly enough, he's getting him. He's getting a movie. Of course he is. So, not all bad news for Mr. Murray. He will be receiving a movie deal out of this where they will detail his life, including his mixed martial arts career, leading to the bank heist and his prison time. So, it'll be somewhat like Midnight Express, but with more case fighting. So, there you go from Mr. Murray. And the final last little black eye for the sport of mixed martial arts. Quentin Rampage Jackson, in his post-fight interviews, had some controversial remarks. He has said that he lost the fight with Rampage or with Rashad Evans because of Ringrust. He said that one of the reasons for the Ring was because he was acting. He was pampered, people took good care of him, gave him his coat when he was cold, spoiled him in a trailer. It took too much time where he was sitting on stage. He fed him grapes. What he wasn't like calling him in to be on set when he wasn't necessarily a scene. So, he didn't have enough time to train and keep fit. So, he basically has come out and he said that the reason he lost is because acting is gay. Oh, man. He actually said that? Yes. Obviously, this did not go for well with the acting community or the gay community. Oh, you think? He went on to going a little rant about how he hated the fact that acting had wasted so much of his time. Dana White interrupted him at the post-fight interview and said, Rampage, if you say things to me, I've got a thick skin and I'll ignore it and get past it. If you say these things about the acting community, they're not going to do that. So, Dana White came in to bail Rampage out from bearing his own acting career if he still wants to pursue it. Dana's had first-hand experience with this stuff too, saying the wrong thing. He's a little bit wiser and he's got a wise Rampage up. So, and unfortunately, the other result of this, after this particular incident occurred, one of the crew members from the 18 came out and said that he had said something slightly homophobic around Rampage and Rampage blew up on him, calling him all kinds of hateful, gay-related slurs, everything in the book. So, apparently, Rampage is developing a bit of a bad reputation at home with anyone. It's not a reputation you want. You know, as I said, this is an unfortunate thing. You know, he was becoming an ambassador for the sport outside of the sport. He was getting cheered like crazy. Well, I mean, we'll talk about the pay-per-view in a second, but, I mean, he was getting cheered like mad and Rashad was getting booed. So, he was the good guy in that fight. The fans love him. The fans love him. But this is, you know... They worked hard on that hype special and they worked hard on the whole season of Tough to sort of, you know, get Rampage's character back over. And it's successful, and the unfortunate thing is his character is also a meat-headed athlete. I mean, you know, the thing with the... That might save him, though, from a lot of critical... I don't think Dean is going to fire him over this, but Rampage is worth way too much. The thing is, GSP is an artist. He's a great fighter, but he's a martial artist, and he doesn't go out and say things that are this resticulously stupid. Rashad Evans as well, Quinn Jackson, he just fires from the coffin, says whatever comes off his head. Oh, yeah. And that's part of his character, and that's part of his appeal at the same time. So, I think that it's going to be something that is going to be a slight problem for him. I mean, it was stupid what he did, but I don't think it's going to affect him that greatly. I think he'll... his sort of his character and his... He'll rebound from it. And yeah, he's got enough charisma that he'll be able to get above this. But still unfortunate. So, going forward from that, we go to the previous UFC that happened this Saturday. You see 115? 114. 114. Yeah. So, we're going to quickly run down the card. We start with Ryan Jensen versus Jesse Forbes. Now, we said that Jensen needed a win here to avoid getting fired. He came out looking a little bit sloppy. His Forbes jumped on him and tried to take him a submission. Jensen broke out of that, reversed it into a guillotine choke from a rear naked choke. And got the tap-out victory at one minute and eight seconds in the first round. Yeah. This was a submission of the night. Jensen picks up a $65,000 bonus. And, you know, good for going, Jensen. Yep. Then we go forward to Aaron Riley versus Joe Grammer. This was a decision. This one went 30-27. Aaron Riley was very, very dominant throughout the striking in the first two rounds. And then in the third round, he landed two big... two take-downs to close up the win. Yep. So, uh, Grammer said he was not happy with his performance. So, Aaron Riley, another guy that hired picks up another win. Yeah, that's good. That'll get his reputation back because he's had a few losses in a row. So, this is definitely good for him. Yeah. So, then we go forward to, uh, Luis Kane versus Cyril DeAbidi. Now, Kane was the favorite coming out of this. However, it was a night of upsets. Mm-hmm. He came up with a hard right hand that knocked Cyril down. Cyril managed to rally back. I really went down. When Cyril went down, I really thought that Kane was going to finish him up. Yeah. But to turn out that way... He looked like a Kane jumped on him and started pounding him. Yep. Uh, DeAbidi banished a weather storm, uh, got back to his feet and immediately rocked Kane himself. Uh, Kane went down and DeAbidi jumped on him and finished it out for a KO at two minutes and 13 seconds in the first round. Mm-hmm. So, Cyril looked very, very good in his UFC debut. Um, he also has a good reputation for pride and dream. Mm-hmm. Just seeing him, uh, competing more further like heavyweights. I think Kane's in trouble. Kane is in very, very big trouble. He's now two losses in a row. Yep. Um, he was previously top ten, so... Yeah, he was. He was ranked and... Yeah. So, it's not enough to fire him, but if he loses his next match, he's done. Yep. So, um, meanwhile, Cyril, he looked good enough that I think he's going to move up the card from this. Mm-hmm. And then we go forward to Melvin Gileard versus Waylon Lowe. Gileard was the first of the, uh, Greg Jackson Gym contenders on this match. There's a few on the fan. There was four. Yeah. All four won, oddly enough. Uh, so Gileard did win. Uh, he came up with a lot of strikes, um, rock low a couple times, shook off a couple of grapples, low shot on him, and, uh, Gileard caught him with a knee to the stomach. Mm-hmm. That was vicious. He was already punished with some strikes. Gileard doubled over, collapsed on his face. Mm-hmm. And the ref called it a knockout. I thought he hit him in the face with a knee when I first saw it, because it happened really quick, and then they just saw him go down, and then I saw the replay hit him in the body. I was like, wow, that is a vicious knee. Mm-hmm. Vicious knee. So, low crumples. Gileard picks out a knockout of three minutes to 28. I like watching Melvin Gileard. He's, uh, he's pretty exciting. I mean, that, that lost to Diaz, um, you know, I think he got, I don't think that was really, you know, indicative of what he can do. Exactly. So, I like, I think Gileard is, uh, very entertaining. So, we go forward to, uh, the Spike TV specials. Ephrae Niskudo versus Dan Lauzon. Now, one of the stories of this match was Dan Lauzon had been in a feud with his brother Joe Lauzon. Yep. Uh, J-Lo had said Dan was on training. Hey, J-Lo. This is Nick Dan. Is, is that something, Dan? Oh, I didn't know that. So, J-Lo, uh, said that his brother was not training hard enough. Uh, and he wasn't, uh, working on his conditioning enough to take on Ephrae Niskudo. Dan took Umbridge to this. Unfortunately, in the fight, he gassed pretty quickly. Yes, he did. Uh, Ephrae pummeled him throughout the three rounds, uh, winning all three. However, in the third round, Ephrae also kicked, uh, Dan Lauzon in the groin and was docked to point. This one went to decision. Didn't matter. 29, 27. The point did not steer all the Ephrae Niskudo training. And we called Ephrae Niskudo. I mean, it was pretty, it was pretty obvious that Ephrae was going to win this fight. I mean, he's a, he's better all around. He was better conditioned. And I mean, I still see big things for him coming up. I really do. I think he's just, he's got to get over that hump. But, um, I, I think it will see some good things from him coming up. So we go forward to Dong Hyung Kim versus Amir Sadala. Uh, this was a classic Grappler versus Strykler. We said Amir Sadala, if he got on the ground, he'd be in trouble. But if he managed to keep it up, his lifetime might get him the win. Uh, unfortunately, he got to the ground. Uh, Kim came up with some really good wrestling. I knew he had good Jiu Jitsu, but I didn't know it was wrestling. He was just good. He dominated Sadala, took him down every time at will. Just kept the fight on the ground, kept busy enough with elbows and shots from the top. Um, 30, 27, he picks up the decision victory over Amir Sadala. I would just like to point out that I was the only one of the three of us who called Kim. So. A good call. So. Uh, then we go forward to John Hathaway versus Diego Sanchez. Uh, Diego Sanchez is moving up from the lightweight division to fight at Walter Wade again. However, coming into this match, he looked to be hugely upsized by Hathaway. Yeah, Hathaway was much, much taller. Much, much taller. I, I still thought that Diego was going to overcome that. Um, but yeah, it didn't turn out that way. The story of this fight is Hathaway had a little huge reach advantage. Yep. He kept stepping back and landing gems and punches on Sanchez at will. Every time Sanchez tried to push forward, he got caught. He got caught bad with that knee. In the first round, he got brutalized with a knee, knocked down. I thought Hathaway was going to finish the fight in the first round. Sanchez weathered the storm, um, after this brutal pommeling. However, after that, he was a little bit gassed. The second and third round, Hathaway just kept pommeling him. He could not rally back. 30, 27, 30, 27, and 30, 26, Hathaway picks up the win. It's very, very difficult to finish Diego Sanchez, unless you're PJ Penn. But, uh, but yeah, he still got dominated. I mean, he's, he's, he's too small. He's too small. He has to go back down to lightweight. Uh, you know, Penn is probably going to move up to Walter Wade pretty soon. I can see that happening. So I, I think that Diego's got to go back down to lightweight. Diego's in an unfortunate spot. He's not quite big enough for the division above him. Yeah. But in his own position. The division of the law has BJ Penn. You know, he thinks these guys, he can't beat. And unfortunately he says he feels too weak at 155, because he gives up so much power. I don't know about guys he can't beat. I think, guy he can't beat. I mean, once, if Penn goes out of that division, Diego's going to be a force. If he goes back down to lightweight. So then we go forward to the rocky story of the night. Uh, and third, Antonio Rogario Nogara took on Jason Burles. Now Jason Burles took the fight on short notice after force Griffin pulled out. He said his goal wasn't whether he won or lost. But to see if he could hang with an elite level fighter. Uh, certainly did. Certainly did. Took the fight to a split decision. Uh, 20, 30, or sorry, 29, 28, 29, 28, and 29, 29, 29. Uh, with that being said, I have Burles winning the fight. Oh, he got rods. The vast majority of the fans could take Burles winning this fight. He definitely won the second round. Nogara definitely won the third round. Now the first round, basically, Nogara looked a little bit more crisp in the striking. But Burles got important takedowns and landed more shots. Yeah. I thought, I thought Burles won two rounds, definitely. I definitely have Burles winning the first round. I mean, I don't care that Nogara looked better standing up. Burles took him down. Yeah. And that's exactly, and no Gary didn't look good on the ground. No, not at all. He looked gossed. He looked tired. You know, Burles should have won this fight. Unfortunately, Nogara does get the decision. However, with that being said, this isn't going to hurt Burles any. No, it's going to help him. Hanging with Nogara. I mean, this is a star making performance. It definitely is. This is his breakthrough. It really is. And good on him. Do you think Rematch or do you think that moving forward to other guys? I don't know about Rematch. I don't think Rematch helps out either fighter. I think, excuse me, Nogara's got his path to go on and Burles has his to go on. You could sell a Rematch based on the controversial decision. But I don't think it would help out other fighters. They were previously talking about putting Nogara back together with Griffin. Yeah. To see what happens with that fight. And Jason Burles may well have Louise Kane in his future. Oh, he'll be Kane. So, you know, if he fights, if he fights like the way he fought Nogara, he'll be Kane. Taking him down and punishing him. Kane's a good match, I think. So that's the rumor at the moment, but we're not sure how that's going to work out. Also, keep in mind, because Nogara didn't get a convincing win, they might not consider moving him. Like, if he kind of dominated one here, he might have been looking at Shogun. I think they're still going to give him Forrest when Forrest is ready because that was the original plan. And he won the fight. So you can't say that he's not on his trajectory. They should have Forrest next. And next was Todd Duffy versus Mike Russo. And Duffy is a genetic freak. He's huge. He's ripped. He looks awesome. And the ladies love them. The fans won't wild for him. He seems like a big deal. He's normally known for a ground-and-pound wrestler. However, he got the fastest knock of history over Ted Hadd. UFC history. UFC history at seven seconds in his last fight. So this fight versus Russo, he came up looking to prove his striking. You know what? He looked so crisp in the first two rounds. Great striking. But Russo just employed the Homer Simpson strategy. He just kept on taking punch after punch after punch. And Duffy just started getting really tired. Yeah. So the first round, Duffy was all over him. Hide him rocked, shook off every takedown. And the second round, Duffy was still all over him, but he was looking more gassed. And the third round, Duffy was starting to flag. He was still throwing more, but he was looking tired. Russo, all of a sudden, as Duffy dropped his hands after a combination, Russo came forward with a right hand, caught in the right hand. Another right hand, Bocks Duffy out. Round three. Knock out of the night for Russo, but he deserved. This is a huge upset. So, it's difficult to do Russo a great deal. He wasn't too happy with the win because he was getting dominated up to this point. Duffy, on the hand, does look awesome. And he looked to be dominating this fight, so I don't think it's going to kill his career. In retrospect, it was a really bad matchup to put Duffy in. It was really bad. A guy who's got a chin made iron and Duffy doesn't have the conditioning to strike like that for three rounds. I don't think that anyone expected Russo to be as tough as he was. Oh, no. And I mean, the thing with Duffy is if you can't put the guy away with your strikes in the first round, or if you hit him with as much he hit him with, go back to your wrestling game to get him down. Yeah, he really should have. He should have taken him down and started trying to, I mean, he's a big guy. Russo's huge, but he should have employed the wrestling strategy after the striking didn't quite work. So, I mean, unfortunately, Russo was in the guy who was on the books, and Duffy lost, so we don't know what's going to happen with either of those guys. But stick with it. We'll see what's going on from the future with them. Bizping versus Dan Miller. Miller came out looking to stand up with Bizping and push the pace in a standup fight. He was moving forward throughout most of the round one. However, Bizping landed some good counter shots. And then the second and third round, Bizping definitely came alive with even more counter shots, and also pushing the pace back aggressively. The third round was a bit of a shootout. However, the judges gave it to Bizping 30-27, 30-27, and 29-28. He's the right decision. So, Bizping picks up a win. You know, my fear with Bizping is because he doesn't have a very good defensive striking game. You know, you can beat Dan Miller, who's a ground specialist in a striking match. Can you beat Anderson Silva? No, God, no. Absolutely not. Bizping's no match for Silva. Bizping is saying I'd find a watch, but he's no match for Silva. And then we go forward to the main event. The one that everyone was waiting for, Rashad versus Rampage Jackson. We're going to go through this one quickly because we're running at a time. So, we're going to be very quick on this one. Rampage, we said that if he caught Rashad, he'd probably win. We said Rashad, if he took the fight and won it on points, that was going to be his game plan. It worked out exactly as we expected. Greg Jackson trains good fighters, Rampage. Rashad rocked Rampage in the first round, but didn't even follow it up. He looked to be stunned that he'd rocked Rampage's mark to do. Yeah, he was stunned, and then he charged him by then Rampage is recovered. Rampage caught Rashad in the third, and I really thought Rampage is going to finish him, but it was-- But Rampage was just too gassed on this year's match. He finishes with the order of the day of this evening. So, this one goes to decision 30, 27, 30, 27, and 29, 28. For Rashad, the wall and stall era of Greg Jackson fighters proves to be the effective way to win fights in the next martial arts. And he's getting Shogun next.
