It's a whole lot of Strikeforce this week, as we recap last weekend's Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery and preview the upcoming Strikeforce Challengers show.

We continue with a lot of talk about Fedor Emelianenko, and how long we think it will be before Strikeforce goes out of business.

We also sneak in some UFC news, including new match signings, recent firings, and the upcoming Rampage Jackson vs. Rashad Evans.

[Music] Good afternoon everybody, welcome to The Hammer. I am your host Dave, joining us always by... Greg, how's it going guys? And of course my good friend, Steve. So you're listening to us live at 93.3 CFMU, and also you can find us on iTunes or on Facebook, at The Hammer with two A's, so H-A-M-M-A-R. Look us up, we'd love to hear from you guys. We've got a fairly interesting little show for you, we've got a little review of the Strike Force heavy artillery results from this Saturday. We may well be the only people in the world who have watched that. And we've got a preview of the upcoming challengers, also from Strike Force. And nobody's going to watch that one. Were you guys excited about the big fight this past weekend? Oh yeah, I was stoked. Russell versus Sandruns. Oh yeah, I was stoked for that one. So the Strike Force show too. So going forward to the Strike Force show, we're going to quickly run down the card. We had Matt Wright House versus Greg Wilson, Rice House won by submission via rear naked choke at the end of the third round. Tom Aaron versus Eric Steemberg. Aaron Beech Steemberg by Guillotine Choke at the first round, one minute in. And then Francisco France versus Lee Brussaud. France won by rear naked choke in the first round in a minute and 27 seconds. So a lot of submissions to this card, a lot of technical fighting. Then we go forward to Booker DeRouce versus Darryl Cobb. This one went to decision, it was a split decision for Cobb. 29, 28, 29, 28, 28, 29. We had Mike Chandler versus Sal Woods. This one ended in submission via rear naked choke for Chandler in the first round. And then we had Vidor Ribeiro versus Lyle Beerholm. Beerholm won by a split decision, 37, 37 and a 29, 8, 29. A little bit of a weird judging mistake there, but what are you going to do? And lastly, Jesse Finney versus Justin Demoney. This one ended in submission guillotine choke at 3 minutes and 22 seconds in the first round. This was actually kind of an interesting one. Finney picked up the win. He also owns a gym in the city and he bought up about 20% of the tickets because the show did not sell out and he was able to get a good package of them. Give him up to basically every single person he's ever met in his life. And he was one of the most overguised of the entire card. Huge, huge ovation for the hometown boy here. And he proves that his gym is a good one as he picks up a submission win via guillotine choke. Could you imagine if he'd lost that fight? The card would be very good. That's a fight you better win, there would have been a riot, I'm sure. But I don't remember none of those fights aired on the card. None of them aired on the note card. There's only two hours showing up. And actually I have concerns about all of these previous fights because when I see six fights in a minor prior card and in submission in the first round. That's a guess that the caliber of your fighters is pretty low. If they don't have enough of a counter-submission game but they're all getting tapped. That's true, that's true. That's true in the first round. That's usually a submission in the first round is usually the result of some kind of mistake. It's usually like a Brock Lesnar Frank near situation. Well, I mean, either that or if one guy is incredibly good at submission and he catches on a Damien Maya level submission guy taking on someone. But there aren't that many of those guys. Yeah, and this is like a one in ten or one in fifty type of situation. Yeah, but like when you've got like Tom Aaron, I'm sorry, he's not a Jiu Jitsu world champion. Winning by submission in the first round, Francisco France, he actually is a very good Jiu Jitsu Prince practitioner. But submission in the first round, you know. Boker Derus, like the submission in the first round, you know, Vitter Ribeiro. A loud beer home submission in the first round, like this is, that's too much. It means that your guys are not fighting at the caliber that they needed to get. It kind of makes me wish I got to see those fights because they actually sounded interesting. Yeah, they did. So we go forward to the main card. Get the action flowing at least. Yeah, well, going quickly. We go forward to the main card Antoine Britt versus Rafael Feijo. Now Britt was hyped going into this fight. Yeah, he was. Very, very hyped going into this fight. He's a fairly powerful wrestler with a good striking game. So, you know, the strike force is definitely has big plans for him or had big plans for him. Feijo is not as well known. Britt came out looking very impressive, got a lot of strikes in in the early going in the round. Dominated the pace, he was taking Feijo down fairly much at will. Feijo kept this cool. Britt overextended and Feijo punished him with a shot to the chin, followed by a couple more in a volley. The volley, Britt went down versus Rafael Feijo picks up the win by KO at 3 minutes and 45 seconds in the first round. Yeah, it was okay. This would have been a knock out at night if it was in UFC, in my opinion, because it was a very good knock out. And, I mean, he definitely turned the tide without punch. So, good little fight for Feijo. Then we go forward to Roger Gracie versus Kevin Randleman. This is a new Gracie. This is a new Gracie third fight. This is only third. And he's a giant. He's a tall dude. He's a really tall dude. He's 6'5" and he's fighting in the heavyweight. He's very, very big for the division. He's rough walls, but he's speaking bigger than bones, Jones. Or, you know, possibly the same size. Bones are shorter than that. Bones is in 6'5". Oh, yeah. I thought it was about 6'2". Oh, whatever. So, Kevin Randleman, I said I had a good feeling for his experience, but unfortunately he was showing his years and his many battles. He was getting dominated by Gracie in the clinch. He was keeping current with striking and he was managing to, you know... He was making a fight out of it. Making a shoot out of it. He used his wrestling game to dictate the pace a bit. But in the second round, Gracie managed to take the fight to the ground with a good shot. Got on top position and maneuvered. He was very patient. And he finally managed to lock in the rear naked choke at four minutes and ten seconds in round two. Randleman fought this off for about a minute and a half, but he just couldn't get out of it. Yeah, Randleman, I think Randleman is just about finished. I mean, he's 30. He's 38. He's got a bad knee because it was taped up. He's only 5'10". I mean, the height difference was ridiculous in this fight. I was surprised Randleman hung on as long as he did. But yeah, like if he's going to lose like that to somebody who's... He's a Gracie, but still relatively new Gracie, then I don't see Randle like kidding at all. Roger Gracie at 28 years old, he's very, very experienced with 2G2. And he's actually got a relatively good striking game for Gracie. He was rocking the jab. He was definitely in shots. So I mean, he's got some good size. And that's a big, big win for him regardless of how good Randleman is currently. But that's a big win and it could start a very good run for Gracie. So we go forward to Ronaldo Sousa versus Joey Villas-Nyar. So Jaquair here managed to take this fight to decision. All three judges unanimously gave him the fight. 30, 27, 29, 28, 29, 28. Not the most exciting battle I've ever seen. One of the worst commentary I've ever heard in this fight during this fight. This was ridiculous. The commentators, it was like they were watching a completely different fight. Yeah, seriously. It was, they were just, they were backing Villas-Nyar like he was like their brother. It was insane. I mean, Jaquair was controlling this fight just about the entire way. And Frank Shamrock and they kept on coming on and going, "Oh, Villas-Nyar, he got some good punches in, some good punches in. Oh, he's going to get it. He's going to get it." It's like, are you watching the same fight? It's like they brought stock in the guy. Yeah, seriously. I couldn't believe it. At one point, what really struck me was in between one of the rounds. They were calling how well Villas-Nyar had done. And I had, you know, Susan winning the round in addition to all three of the judges. Yeah. So, and then they showed the replay clip and it was basically Jaquair clubing Villas-Nyar. Jaquair, Jaquair was in every single clip in a dominating position. I have this strange theory that they just got the names mixed up. That could be or, or my theory is that Jaquair had a bloody nose. And like Frank Shamrock is an experienced guy, so I don't see him making a mistake. He could have seen the bloody nose and assumed that Villas-Nyar was winning the fight. Like, that's how little credit I give these strike force commentary. That's bush league. That is, but, well, it's strike force. Yeah. I mean, this was comical. In the late round of the third round, they made comets about how dominant Villas-Nyar had looked all through the fight and how he was looking extremely impressive. And they were saying that as Suza had him down, it was in dominant position, pounding him in the face. I mean, if they didn't have the names mixed up, this is incompetence at the highest level because there was no way Villas-Nyar, like, I honestly didn't even call him winning a round in this fight. No, he didn't win in '27. And I think the two judges that gave him 29-28 were being generous. Yeah. Because he didn't look to be at all in control. That's too close to the score for how that fight actually went down. Yeah. At one point, I thought I'd mixed the names up. Like, seriously, I was like, "Am I watching the right fight?" Like, it was ridiculous. So let me go forward to another striking battle between Andre Alafske, the pitbull, and Antonio Silva. Now, Bigfoot's been making a big name for himself, whereas the pitbull has got a reputation as a former UFC champion and a really well-known knockout artist in the heavyweight division. Who is on the decline? Who is on the decline. Yeah. Still up. Still up. Still a name. Well, his last couple of losses have been to really big names. Like, he lost to Fador and Brett Rogers. He was on a fight when he got Rogers snapped, or the Fador snapped, and he lost to Rogers. Yeah. So, I mean, of his last seven fights, he's won five. Yeah. So it's one of those things where he's kind of on the decline, but you could still see him pulling something out. Oh, for sure. Like, he's not done. Mm-hmm. But, I don't know, after this fight. So, Silva came out in the first round. He was firing on all cylinders. He was using his clinch, really, really well-controlling Arlowski, preventing the strikes, really punishing him to the body and to the head. He used some low kicks to weaken him up. In the second round, Arlowski fired back, and I had him taken the second round with a lot of good use of his job and good control with his wrestling. In the third round, though, Arlowski looked to be gassing a little bit. Yeah. Silva came out dominant. He looked really tired. And Silva did not look to be having that problem, chased him down, really, really hit him hard. Yeah, it struck him out damaged him. Yeah. It really wasn't close. So Antonio Silva picks up the win here, 29-28, from all three judges, unanimous decision. So Bigfoot, with that win, moves up into the top ten. He's now considered the tenth best heavyweight in the world. For his first appearance on the list, Arlowski is knocked out of the top ten. Unfortunately, it looks like his decline is now official, and Bigfoot's rise is now official. Bigfoot is now the ranked heavyweight contender in this new division. Yeah, that's reasonable. Yeah, definitely. He looked good. He really looked good. Bigfoot's a really, really impressive striker, and he seems to have a fairly good counter wrestling game. His submissions are not known to be the greatest, but if you're a really, really good striker and you've got enough counter wrestling to stay off the mat, which he seems to, he could go places in this division, because you have to figure the guys ahead of him, Brett Rogers, over him, and Fedor. I mean, that's a division where two wins put you at the top of the division. Basically, yeah, it's like the UFC Middleweight division. Yeah, exactly. Well, he's already beaten for Doom, so, I mean, there's three guys left on the division, and, you know, he's definitely going to be in the mix for a title hunt going on soon. And Arlowski, what do you do with him now? Oh, you still give him another fight. Oh, I mean, he's not a cheap fighter. Oh, yeah, that's true. That's true. That's true. Not enough name that I would imagine you'd want to save him for your pay-per-view if you ever go to pay-per-view. Yeah. Which is questionable, because, as I said before, I only give Strike Force 17 more months of life before I think Figure Wonder. But, I mean, he's a big enough name and a big enough draw that you don't want to get rid of the guy and send him packing. But at the same time, you know... Well, Strike Force's depth is so weak that they can't afford to send anyone packing. Really, I mean... Yeah, there's been rumblings of a rematch with Brett Rogers, which is about all I can think through with those guys, right? Yeah. I can see that. And you could also maybe put him in with Fear Doom and Fear Doom, which is the fate or just, you know, something that's safe, bad at this point. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. Did Arlowski be for Doom before? No. No, I do not believe they faced each other. Okay. So, or he may well, but I certainly don't remember. Bobby, he takes another loss, and it's like, that guy's not going to be worth the money anymore. So then we go forward to the Heavyweight Championship bout. Alistair Overeem makes his return to face in Brett Rogers. Now, Overeem, he won the Strike Force Heavyweight Championship nearly three years ago. Nearly three years ago. And then he left. He went to Japan, did all sorts of fights over there. This is his return to Strike Force, first defense of the title. He looked really good. And really huge. Wow. We were speculating on whether Overeem actually had it to compete because we haven't seen him in so long. He definitely came out to silence the critics. He knocked Rogers out by TKO in three minutes and forty seconds in round one. Came out with a dominant low kick. Punished Rogers' legs. Hit him with a lot of jabs, a lot of clinched knees. Rogers tried to charge him as Rogers did against Arlowski. Overeem threw him to the ground. Jumped to top position. He threw him out. He threw him like a rag doll. He threw him like a rag doll. I was really skeptical about Overeem coming into this, coming into looking at watching this fight. I was actually thought that Rogers was going to win. But while Overeem made him leave her out of me, he looks incredible. I mean, he looks like the caliber that could contend in the UFC. Heavyweight division as well. I would totally agree. And Rogers didn't look so hot. No, he really didn't. I looked against Fedor. He did not look good in this fight. I'm wondering whether it's a case of Overeem being that good or Rogers basically fooling everybody up until this point. I'm thinking it's a combination. Yeah, well, I mean, Coker is known to protect some of his fighters. Like the accusation with Conely, who had that epic unbeaten streak forever, was that he was covering Conely by not feeding in the top fighters. Yeah. You can't say that about Rogers still. Rogers, do you have a lot of top fighters until we got Arlowski? You have been Fedor. A Fedor question. But his strike force run has been Arlowski. It's been Fedor. And now it's been over. None of those guys are slouges. No. Far from it. Fair enough. But I mean, you know, Rogers certainly did not look to be in the top contention here over in clubdom. Oh, totally different league. You know, and for the Rheem, you know, he's a K1 over. The Rheem. He's trying to get that nickname over. His new website, Overeem's new website is TheRheem.com. Yeah. In a close find interview, they asked him. What's wrong with the demolition, man? Well, he actually apparently has to not like him. Two hardest spell. Two hardest spell. He actually does not like him. R-E-M, not too hard. He likes the Rheem, so. A Rheem. And he's a six foot, five, two hundred and fifty pound man. So if he wants to be called the Rheem, that's why I'm a man. Okay, if he gets to have the Rheem, then Ben Henderson should get Bendo. Oh, Bendo.com. I go.com. For sure. He's done deal. Yeah. Bendo, I grant you license to that nickname. I hereby dub the Bendo. And the Rheem, you may maintain yourself as the Rheem. So the game plan here is that if Fedor can get past a Ferbucio Verdume. Next month. Then the logical match that Strikeforce wants to put together is Fedor versus Overing for the heavyweight title. Perfect. Total sense. Now, what do you guys think? CBS or pay-per-view? Where do you put that fight? Ideally, you'd want to put it on pay-per-view because that's the one thing you have that might sell. Do you think Strikeforce has enough momentum to justify pay-per-view? Or do you do another or do you do a big CBS show and try and keep the brand going? You know. It hasn't worked yet. Yeah. Very true. It's like the CBS shows have not worked. I mean, the last one was a horrendous disaster. Oh, it's about as big as a disaster as you can have and not be able to exceed. Like, you've got to get some money. You've got to get some money. And those are your two big attractions. You've got to put that on pay-per-view. And also sometimes the best way to win the affection is to play a little bit hard to get. I think if you take this to pay-per-view and you draw some money on pay-per-view, that's not going to make CBS like you less. It's going to make them like you more. That's a good one. Well, if you take this to CBS and it ends up with another screw-up, then you're like, your contract's over. Yeah. Then 17 months is just a dream. It's actually three months. Yeah. Totally. If you take Fedor onto CBS and he flops, your company's done. Right. Yeah. So I'm saying, like, if you're ever going to go to pay-per-view, you're not going to get a better shot than this. Pull the trigger now and go. Yeah. Like Fedor's got some mystique around and he's still got the rep of being the best in the world. Overeem just came off a crushing, crushing, crushing victory. So, I mean, who would you give Overeem in the meantime if no one weren't going to give him Fedor? You have to give him Fedor next. Yeah. The fans are expecting it. And both of these guys are probably at their drawing power higher right now. That's really... Yeah. I mean, your best hope is Fedor gets a convincing win over Fabrizio and you put him forward. Yeah. And then I say then you load up the pay-per-view. You grab Kimbo. You grab Gina Crowe. Everybody, you can just load the way I play. Go for it. Kimbo's worth some cash. I think so. Kimovers is a little Oscar and you've got a drawing match. I agree. People are going to see that. I'm scared to go about that one. Yeah. But I really think people are starting to figure Kimbo out. Oh, I agree. But I mean, you know, he's definitely worth a couple buys still at this point. Yeah. There's still a few steps in the glass. So, in any case, Overim has definitely called out Fedor in his post-fight comments in the ring. He said, "Props to Brett who came out and fought me like a man, but Fedor's management has been ducking this fight. I want to fight Fedor." And I believe that they've been ducking it 100% because it's only one. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And one is known to play games like this. And in the meantime, in his post-fight interview with the actual press, Overim said, "I think I've got the best shot against Fedor because I'm the most technical. I fought in 205 against some of the best strikers and some of the best submission artists." And lost. Which is true. And lost. But I mean, it's a more technically skilled division. True. They should figure out how to do like a countdown special or something. Like try and find somewhere to put a count. If they were going to do a CBS show, they could probably talk them into doing a countdown special as well. And then, you're going to lose more. You're going to learn more. You're going to do more. I guess that there's no open window for that. For Overim, I'd say you learn more, losing to Shogun, and losing to Chuck Liddell, then you do winning against Tim Silvia, like Andre Alofsky did. This guy has actually fought the best. And Fedor, in the last couple of years, with the possible exception of Alofsky and Brett Rogers, has not fought the best. I think you have to go back to Crow Cup, but three years ago for a serious test, for Crow Cup, or for Fedor. That's fantastic. You're right, since then, he hasn't been fighting the elite competition. Overim, when he's saying that he's got the technical skills, he's a K1 level kickbox. A striking game is impeccable. He's one of the best in the clinch in the world, and that's something which Fedor is very dangerous at. So I don't think Fedor could take over him in the clinch. He's got a huge size advantage over the guy. So you have to say that Fedor's best chance is to take the fight to the ground and he depend him on or submit him. Overim's got a fairly good counter-submission game. He may well be the guy to be able to pull it off. Now, that being said, I still take Fedor in the fight because Fedor is, you know, the legend in this, but I think if anyone in the strike force can do it... That's a marketable fight. Overim's got one who can pull it off. Now, what do you think? If M1, if Fedor's management team doesn't, they refused to face over him. Did you say you'd let Fedor go? What used to see? I'd say one. Yeah, seriously. Yeah, that's exactly what used to see. Who is he going to fight? I mean, it's obvious that he can crush everybody in that heavyweight division with the exception of overim. If he's not going to fight overim, then what the heck is the point of keeping him when you've got this, this albatross of M1 around your neck as well. They keep criticizing when you're running your business and sucking up your budget. I mean, in this division, you have got overim, Olofsky, Silva, and Verdu. And potentially Bobby Lashley. And Brett Rogers and Bobby Lashley. Now, with those five guys, Fedor's already beat Olofsky. He's already beat Graham Rogers. Presumably he'll beat Verdu to be in the contention. Who is he going to go fight Bobby Lashley? Bobby Lashley is nowhere close to Tyler contention. He's just making his entrance into the business. Is he going to go and fight Antonio Silva? Maybe, but what a waste of a fight that is. That's not funny. If you are going to be in this company and you're not ready to take on a champion when you've won two times in a row, what more do you need? This is a championship fight that needs to happen. If you're not ready to fight a champion, why are you a professional flatter? Yeah. That's what comes good. The only reason they would be keeping is to keep him away from UFC. At that point, that'd be the only reason. At this point, I'm not even 100% sure Fedor will go there and fight. Look, the lesser in the car wins. If he's not going to fight over him, it's going to make him fight Lesnar. I'm not saying that Fedor can't hang with those guys or even beat them, but if he loses those guys, his mistake is going to be good. If his management team isn't going to put him with over him, they're not going to put him with Brock or a car win. If you're going to even say that you've got a shot against a car win, you've got to beat over him. Over him is nowhere close to the league. He's the only guy in Strike Force that you could say is in that league. True. He's definitely in the league, though. I think if he faces car win, car win doesn't crush him, I don't think. I mean, car win's fantastic, but car win over him. I mean, I don't think it would be that much of an obvious crush. I think it's a realistic fight between car win, Lesnar, Velasquez, and over him. Yep. And maybe even junior DeSanto's. But I certainly wouldn't say that over him is definitively better than any of those guys. I didn't say that. I didn't say that. I just said he's in the league. He's definitely in the league. He's close enough that it's a fight and it's a good fight. But with that being said, you know, Arlowski certainly isn't in that league anymore. God, no. Unfortunately, he used to be, but he's not. Yeah. And for as far as Fader goes, you know, if you're going to say that you are the best in the world, that you're the emperor, and that you could beat Lesnar or car win or Velasquez or junior DeSanto's, show me by beating over him. Don't tell me. Show me. It's time for M1 to put up. Put their chips, put their cards on the table. You've bluffed. Now show me your cards. I'm calling your buff. I want to see you take on over him. I don't want to see if you are a heavyweight champion of the world. Yeah. I don't think any of this is Fader's fault. I mean, I think that he wants to fight over him. I think Fader wants to fight over him. I think he's able to fight over him. But I think M1 is playing games to try to squeeze out as much money, even as much marking rights as they can. And I mean, this is something that they've done that's strangled. The sassy. It's something that's caused Masasa to leave their brand. It's heard affliction. You know, it's heard affliction. Fader wants to fight. If your fighter wants to fight, and he can become a heavyweight champion, why would you not let him fight over him? And what is this Don King? Yeah. But it's been in the end, I mean, if he wanted to fight bad enough, he could just leave and go do it. But those are sorts of money decisions, management decisions that we don't have. We don't understand financial issues. But say, you know what? If Fader was going to be the best, he's still considered the number one heavyweight. There's six guys out there who you got to be at least. Yeah, at least six guys. I mean, it's not like you were considered the best ten years ago when Nogara and Krollkop were the best and you beat them. Nogara and Krollkop aren't competitive with the new breed of heavyweights. Nope, nope. They've already proven that. Krollkop and Nogara are losing streaks now. You know, you can't hang your hat on those wins ten years ago. You guys show that you can beat the new guys, and the new guys are waiting for you. And I'm getting a patient waiting for it. So am I. I mean, I've wanted Fader. Like, I wanted Fader on the UFC. I mean, I think kind of adding everybody does. And when the rumors were that he was coming over and that he might wind up in the UFC, I was like, oh, he's got to fight Lesnar. This is going to be fantastic. We can't wait to see. And I think you'd actually have a realistic shot against Lesnar. I think you'd probably even beat Lesnar. Oh, yeah. He's got a very realistic shot. With that being said, you know, if M1 seems to want the moon and the basket for him before anyone. And unfortunately, the moon and the basket isn't a realistic goal. And the amount of the promotion company. It's ridiculous because the amount of money that Fader Lesnar, Lesnar alone, Lesnar fighting anybody makes money. Lesnar fighting Fader is like a license to print. But that's second or third biggest UFC show ever. Yeah. If not, definitely. For sure. Certainly would be the biggest payday that Fader has ever gone. Yes. Yeah. Depending on the percentage that M1 takes. Speaking of big fights, the second part of the Rashad Rampage Countdown Special airs tonight following the Ultimate Fighter. And Rampage Rashad had an insanely hilarious press conference earlier this week. You have to go on YouTube. It's just them trash talk each other. Racial slurs. Going to the gay and just going nuts. Off the charts. You have to go to YouTube and look for this press conference. My favorite part. Rashad says it's talking about how he trained hard so he wouldn't get tired during the fight. And the Rampage goes, "I get tired during all of your fights." And it just gets worse from there. You know what? It's so good that it could be staged. But knowing these two guys, it's not. That's exactly what I was thinking. Rampage is just, that guy is hilarious. Like during the entire Ultimate Fighter season, I was in stitches every time Rampage opened his mouth. When he was doing the impression of Rashad getting knocked out by Lioto Machita. And he was just like on one leg dancing around. Oh man. Rampage is comedy gold. I guess you do stand up. He's hilarious. And Dana White yesterday announced officially. We talked about it as soon as it's going to happen. But he announced that Gwen Jackson and Rashad Evans, the winner, will beat Shogun for the light heavyweight title. Okay, you know, makes perfect sense. Rampage has a loss to Shogun that he wants to revenge. And Rashad has never faced Shogun. Does that mean Rampage is going to stick around in UFC for a while? That means if you win, yes. Because he's got that. Because wasn't this supposed to be his last fight on the contract against Rashad? I guess he's going to sign a new one if he wins. It would make sense for him to sign a new one. I mean, if you win and you get a title shot, why not? The money he's going to make off this fight next week is going to be worth it from this day. Oh yeah. This is going to be a monster. It gets you over the years so far, at least. Yeah, I'd agree. It's trending higher than GSP. And UFC Undisputed 2010 comes out next week, which that's a video game for the Xbox and the PlayStation 3. That's actually a really big deal. It's a lot of money for the fighters. And it's huge, like just for advertising the brand. We were playing the demo, actually. Well, it looks pretty cool. They made Rashad look a little bit dopey in the demo. And when Rashad wins, he plays with his nipples. But that's Rashad. And Greg Jackson comes in. It's all pretty cool. It definitely looks incredibly realistic. And I mean, it's a huge deal for the UFC. They think that that probably added about 50,000 to 100,000 buys to every pay-per-view, that video game for Monster. I mean, the first one was a really well-designed game. I mean, I suck at video games, so I didn't really play it that much. I got frustrated. But I mean, it was such a well-designed game and accurate. And I mean, the next version is only supposed to be better. Yeah, so if it draws fans in to the brand marketability, it's exactly what they want. Yeah, after we get a hold of it, a week or so, we'll play it. We'll talk about it a bit. Yeah, you guys will play it. David, I will. I'll like watch you play it or something. And a jail son, and he won the Republican nomination for the 37th District in the Oregon House of Representatives. He ran unopposed and received 99% of the vote. Way to go, jail. Nineteen people decided that nobody is better than him. Well, in any case, congratulations, Mr. Saline, for making it to the Oregon House of Representatives. I would like to hear his acceptance speech. He is now a state representative. I maintain Anderson-Zilllook and speak English. I'm jails on it. Well, you know what? The crazy trash talk of him and Anderson-Zilllook is building that card up. I think that could end up being, you know, a fairly well-doing card. He's now a state representative. Why not? I mean, if I have an opportunity to see one of my senators beat up someone in the occasion. Or watch one of my senators get beat up. Which is almost guaranteed. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I'm sure there's a lot of Americans who would love to see a senator get beaten up. Yeah. So, why not? And after being caught by the UFC, Paul Daly is now fighting in Australia for some kind of promotion, whatever. And then also speaking of Australia, UFC announced today Kurt Pellegrino versus George Sutteropolis for the July 3rd show. Which is a fight I want to see. It's a fight I'd like to say. Do you think Sutteropolis is at that level? I mean, I think he'd be a bit higher. Oh, you mean you think he's too high? I think he's too high. Yeah. He just crushed Stevenson. Do you not? I agree. But my thing is, if Mr. Penn is going to go out and fight with Frankie Edgar, those two guys are off the card. Yeah. Yeah. Sutteropolis. He doesn't have a dance partner. Why not give him someone to fight? Yeah, I guess. And Pellegrino's coming off a win. Yeah. So, I mean, to me, it makes okay business sense. Yeah. The other fight that they made recently, because Congo is out for a while, they've put Segano, Jr. DeSantos with Roy Nelson. That's the one where I'm like, I think DeSantos is the head of the card from Nelson. Oh, yeah. DeSantos and Nelson, really? Do you know what... Uh, UFC 117. Really? Yeah. This is real. Wow. So... That's a bit of a joke for Nelson. I don't know. I'm thinking how many guys are between him and DeSantos? That there's a real... Like, you've got your top six guys. Yeah. And then, like, the... Now that Congo's injured, yeah, it does make sense. It makes perfect sense to me. I kind of want to see it. I just don't want DeSantos to lose to Nelson and be completely derailed. Yeah. Because that's a big... That'd be a big... That would change his career. I mean, to me, if DeSantos wins, it doesn't really push him further. Up the car than he already is. Doesn't do anything for him. And if Nelson wins, would you give him title shot? Like, you know... But, you know what, if DeSantos doesn't continue to win, then does he really deserve to... Yeah, but there's title shot everyone wants for him. Fair enough, Fair enough. So... He's got to play it someone. Well, I mean, we'll talk about that more going forward. That's what it comes up. Anything else in the news? You should go for a challenge. Yeah, just speaking of Heavyweight, guys, Tim Hake, which is kind of... For the second shot this year. But he had apparently a great fight against Joey Beltran last week. Yeah, he did have a great fight. But he lost. He lost. And, I mean, he's just not... He's not on the UFC level, unfortunately. And Beltran is now rumored to be facing Matt Vitray on. Coming up this time. Both came off wins, why not? Yeah. Hey, big guys. Yeah? Two big guys pounding each other. (laughter) And... Yeah, I guess that's pretty much all I got. We got the Ultimate Fighter coming up tonight. Yep, and we also have Strike Force Challenges coming up on the 21st. So just quickly go over this Challenger's card. It will be on Showtime Showcase. It's just kind of the up-and-comers for Strike Force. So we have Pat Healy versus Brian Travers. Tarek Sefidin versus Nate Moore. Sefidin is actually a bit of an up-and-comer, so keep an eye for that one. Bobby Volker versus Roger Boling. And then Tyrone Woodley versus Nathan Koy. Now, Tyrone Woodley is a really, really good wrestler, who actually won his last match with a top arm trap choke. And he says that his style is a nightmare for Nick Diaz. He's looking to fight Diaz going forward in the future. With Koker being ticked off at Diaz, and with this guy having a good style match up with him. Tarehan versus Strike Force. Yeah. He may well be on the main card soon or a pay-per-view soon, fighting for a welterweight change. I'd like to see anyone crush Nick Diaz. Really? So keep an eye out for Woodlid. And then we go forward to the main event, which is a middleweight belt between Matt Lindland, former Olympic silver medalist and a UFC contender, versus Kevin Casey. Now, Kevin Casey you may not have heard of, but if you watch the hills you may have, he is best known for his role as the Jiu Jitsu coach of Spencer Pratt. This is the only time you're going to ever go to the hills mentioned on the show. On the hill. So with his solid training camp of fighting Spencer Pratt and fighting on top, he's preparing to take on the legend, Matt Lindland. To see who's the best middleweight in the challenge. I smell train rags. You know this Strike Force challengers card? Yeah. And we have to watch it because we have to talk about it on the show. I expect at least three people are going to watch this. The rating will be three. Well, possibly five because I'm assuming Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montage will watch for a first. We're in a lead company. Watch this, you know everybody. Watch this be like the biggest technical battle in the history of like fighting. I know we all look a kitty. Hey, I hope it is. Well, with that being said, as much as I respect Kevin Casey and his ability to train Jiu Jitsu. Well, the thing is, I mean, we all pretty much respect anyone who gets in the Octagon in fights. I mean, it's one of those things where there's some fights that are going to be a lot more interesting and good than others. But, I mean, I have respect for anybody who goes to that rating. So who's your call the winners? The older, Matt Lindland? Casey, man. You choosing Casey? Yeah. Lindland. I'm going to have to go with Lindland as well. He's a similar battleist and he's a great wrestler, so. Don't believe so. The loser will be me. Do you think you'll have Spencer Pratt in his corner? Oh, I can't believe that would be interesting. That would be the most amazing thing and the history of-- That guy's got the most punchable face in the history. That's not supposed to say that any versus Spencer Pratt. If I could punch anyone in the face, it would be Spencer Pratt. Anyway. All right. We'll finish on that note. So thanks for tuning in, guys. Remember to check us out at iTunes and on the Facebook.
