Love Your People Well - Christian Motherhood Tips, Marriage Help, and Family Relationship Building

(F3) Caring for yourself as a busy Christian mom living in a broken world

Episode 104.5 // Friday Faith Followup   It can sometimes be a lot easier to pour our love, energy, and effort into our kids rather than taking time to care for ourselves. Parenting is work! It calls us to step up and put our children’s needs above our own.    But parenting is hard. Life can be discouraging. And as we seek to be biblically grounded parents, teaching our children how to follow Jesus (along with everything else!) we can struggle with the weight of the brokenness in the world.    We cannot love our children well without making the effort to take care of ourselves first. Let’s consider together why that matters, how we can do it, and find encouragement in the One we are serving along the way.   hugs & blessings, Jess   * * * * *    WANT MORE?   Get the full show notes at www.LoveYourPeopleWell.com/104  Grab the Advent Story Cards to engage your kids in the Christmas story Grab the free 51 Self Care Ideas List    Find ALL of our resources for Christian family life at www.LoveYourPeopleWell.com/resources    Love the show?
