Because the first two saws are kind of original, kind of, there's lots of different things going on. It's all a game and you've got the jigsaw guy. But the third film is that, but it also has lots of flashback clips. Which, going back to the previous movies. And so this season speaks to that for me because we've seen this all before with Spurs, haven't we? We've seen whether it's injury crisis, whether it's not investing in the squad, whether it's conceding late equalizers. We've seen this before and it just feels like a flashback episode. Second manager after 18 months. We'll come onto that for sure. Let me ask you a direct question here, Mark. What's worse? Tottenham's defence or Denmark's defence in World War II against Nancy? Oh, that's a good one. That's a good one. I think it has to be Denmark's defence against the Germans. How do they may last off? So there's conflicting evidence, it ranges in between 26 minutes to a few hours. I think we had like three losses. There's nothing funny about that. Yeah, they were just old, they tied on the way. They were just naturally forged with his heart attacks on that. They were running too fast to get the white flag and let the heart attack him. Tottenham's in bacon. Weirdly though, despite us, you know, there's nothing funny about World War II. But weirdly, I don't know if this is just kind of a general apathy, which is always worrying. You know, you're kind of at the end of a road or a certain journey when apathy sits in and you kind of, when you score, you feel nothing and when full score, you feel nothing, which is worrying. And I don't know why I've crept into that. I think partly because I want, I want Postakolu, I want it to work so much that I can't swing the other way and want him out, right? Because I've backed him because I've not that weak. So I'm just going middle ground and feeling nothing. That's what I'm choosing to do, right? But generally the overall performance yesterday, maybe apathy, but I thought there was a little bit more control. It was less Kung Ho. It was a little bit, dare I say, pragmatic. Forced and in it long, been given a license to hit it long. Couple of opportunities that came from a long ball, Dragonstone's ball down the right-hand side to Johnson. Perfect peach of a ball, by the way. There was an element of pragmatism to this. Now the question is, did the players take it upon themselves to do it? Or did Anthropostakolu give them license too? And the questions that fall out from that. What do you think is the reality, Ma? Yeah, I think it's in between the two of them. I think there's a third factor as well, which is fatigue. And I think actually fatigue is what's steering a lot of it, because I think Angie has given them different directions. Because you're right, there was a difference in approach, and that came quite early on. So it's easier for Angie to sell that to everyone around him, or internal external stakeholders. Because fatigue is an easier thing to swallow than for Angie to feel like he's now bowing to all the external pressure of adapting and so on. What everyone wants them to, what journalists are saying. I think fatigue is playing a big reason in that. I agree with you as well. I didn't think we played terribly. Wolves are, although they're positioned in the table, doesn't quite show this. They are much more informed than we are. They have a little bit of new manager bounce and so on. So it wasn't going to be an easy game with the opposite to that. So it wasn't going to be an easy game. So I thought we did. I think we did it right. And to be honest, their equalizer came from a bit of a blunder. It wasn't like they totally played us off the field. You look at the stats, our XG was higher than them. Session stats are very, very similar. Everything is very, very similar in terms of the underlying stats. So it was just moments again. Again, a feature of our season has been this moment. If you're reading on paper, it tells you a different story than what's actually happening. A lot about this season has been about moments. I think we'll still see that for the rest of it, unfortunately. Was it though that we thought it was a decent performance because our expectations are now relatively low kill? Yeah, I think there's definitely an element of that. No game feels like you don't look at the fixture list and go, "Oh, there's a win. There isn't one there, is there?" Every game feels like, "Oh." And like you said, the circumstances of yesterday, walls having a new manager, they beat many nights at home, which isn't as impressive as it used to be, but still wins a win, right? And yeah, they was on form coming into it and I was, "Oh, no." And they're actually, they're actually having a pretty good record against us, don't they, as well? They beat us at home last season. It's really annoying, actually. Not really turned Tottenham into a fortress, I've read the new stadium. It hasn't really, we had a little run of it, it felt like, but we've not really made it. It still feels a little too comfortable for teams to come to Tottenham and get results, which is a, and I'm going off topic a little bit, but it just is something that we, I think that's always a good base to build on, is to get your home form, right? It's good for the home fans as well, and then you start building away from home. We haven't really done that yet, but I agree with you, Mark. I think it was a very fatigue performance, and that's why I put the change in tactics, too. I think it probably happened on the pitch, they just looked tired, and one thing that was really noticeable early in the season was how intense we played, and that intensity's completely gone. And I think one thing that's become quite obvious now is that we can't do Angeball twice a week. It's just, I don't think it's possible, and as you record in Europe at Celtic, it wasn't very good. And, which is understandable, because it's Celtic and it's a dog meat league. But, you know, I don't think that style of football is sustainable to play twice a week, and early in the season when we were having bad results, they were directly after European games. But now we're having to play every single Thursday, every single Sunday. And that's too is credit as well, because we've gone so deep in the, in the League Cup as well, and we're still sitting in Europa League. But, yeah, it was, it did, it smacked over fatigue performance yesterday, just, they just looked tired. And that equalised, it just felt like it was coming. It felt like it was coming for about five minutes before they just had so much pressure. Even though we brought, we made, you know, four changes, we made four substitutions. The energy job was just completely gone, we just couldn't seem to just get hold of the game. And, you know, try to get the, gain some territory and get the ball up there under the pitch, which couldn't seem to do it, and it just felt like it was coming. And then when it did, it was like, ah, okay then, I'll take a draw. Yeah, I mean, draw was probably a fair result, but, but obviously not one that's palatable. A doggy as soon as you saw him pull up and you're like, I know what this is, I know what it is. And it looked like a bad one, he was limping off, you know, best case scenario, it'd be six weeks, three months. It could be anywhere between that, who knows, might need more surgery. Was it the same leg or different? No idea. Do you know, do you remember what leg you had these surgery on? No idea. Well, look, if, because apparently this, look at the marks face. [laughter] You're likely to just take a bone off, a hit off a bone then. It looked like, if it's the same leg, because these operations are supposed to essentially protect the hamstring forever, or more as, as close to as possible, which is why a sack has now gone for, for an operation on his. So if it's the other leg, then just get him an operation and the eleven have a hamstring over again, which is, um, preferable. But what do you think the reason for these, these hamstrings are, like, because is it, is it a case of it's just luck? And we're very unlucky. Is hands pushing them too hard in training and asking them too much of them in match day, in, in, in, you know, real match experience? Or is it the fact that the injuries compound injury and that, you know, the more, the more you ask of the players available to you, the much more likely muscle injuries are going to be? Is it, or is it all three of these? There are people out there that are directly behaving post-acoggly for his training methods. What would you make of that, Mark? What do you think it is? Yeah, I think you're right. I think it is a combination of, of all of it. I think, I think, and he's even mentioned it himself before in the past. He's, he's been quite open about his approach, is very taxing on players, which is why he needs, you know, rotation needs a bench. And he's, you know, he's quite dogmatic about it as well. He doesn't really stray much away from it unless he simply can't. And I think we're in that situation right now. But there is an argument to it. I mean, you look at our injuries. We've got, we've got nine first team injuries out, right, as of today. Two of which are suspension, so that's fine. Only one other injury is a contact injury, which Vikario's ankle. Yeah. The other six are hamstring injuries. And like no other team in the league have this many hamstring injuries. You've, you've, you've made a great point. Yes, they're, and most of them are recurring injuries as well. I mean, band of N is recurring, a dog is a recurring, a recurring loss, and so on and so forth. And so, so maybe there's something there about the medical team and I'll be rushing them back too quickly, which again, also is, is up to the player as well. Because players still need to sign themselves off, right? So I don't think Anne just is pushing and putting pressure on them to come back early. But it just, it just relates to this. The merino, do you remember merino in, um, in that, whatever that documentary was called? And he, the, the, the medical team were going, son, he's, he's going to be out for a long time. And merino is furious, furious with them. And he said, what do you mean? I, I need him. And he's like, he's broken his arm. Because remember he played, we beat Villa. We were two years down and he played for 80 minutes with a broken arm. And I think he's got a hat trick in that game. And you're like, how has he paid for 80 minutes of a broken arm? Now he's out for six months because of it. And, and, and there was a lot of pressure. Merino, you could see that it was, it was, it was almost like the news isn't the one that you heard. Like, and then just, if we go back to that, that Chelsea game, we were both like, we were all of us. We were looking at it and amazed going, how are they starting out of nowhere? Like we want them to start. We all want to see this, but no one was surprised when they went off injured. None, none of us were. So what went on there? I mean, we'll never know. But ultimately at the top of all of this, Adam Sposicle has to take responsibility. And I'm sure he will for those decisions. How are you right? Are you fit to start? They're going to say, yes, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready. You can't trust the players' opinion. They don't, they just want to play. The medical team have to take responsibility. Well, they may have said that they, they aren't ready. And I'm just going, I need them. But then the naivety in that, if that is true, and we don't know it's true, I'm just spitballing. That's, that's on another level. You cannot just play injured players and hope they'd be okay in the Premier League. And normally, you think about it, when someone's just, you know, think of Van Andromera actually. Normally when a player's had an injury and they come back, they'll have 10 minutes. They'll have half hour off the bench. They'll have 20. You know what I mean? They'll, they'll get eased back into it. And it just screamed of a desperate move. And to start both of them in that fixture. And it's, it's quite annoying that for the second seat, it feels like for the second season in a row, that fixture is going to define our season. Yeah. And if they don't do it, they don't do it, if footballs can be chaos, and there's no guarantee of anything, but where is the, we want to see the attitude that says that that's what we're aiming to do, we've done everything else, we've built the stadium, we've done everything else, now we want to win on the pitch. He might be a joke to some people, he's second in the league right now. Where is that attitude from us? We have, we have the, we have the resources, and the ability to attract a quality of player, that means you can say something like that and see it through. We're not, not on the floor, it didn't, they didn't have the right, they don't have the right to be second, because it spits in the face of what we understand the Premier League competition to be. It's better for the Premier League that they are there, and I'm glad that they are there, but it spits in the face of the idea that the more money you spend on wages and transfers, that the more likely you are to finish up the league and whatnot, right? They can't, they can't hold a light to Tottenham Arsenal or Liverpool, and yet they're there because they're sharing ambition. So I don't want to hear, read another fucking statement from Daniel Levy at the end of the season talking about how much revenue was built and the NFL partnerships and the fucking F1 track, fuck all that, or get it, fine, do it, build the revenue so we can spend it on the pitch, and give us a fucking chance, because like you say, it don't matter who the manager is, I don't know. Let's have it right, we're never going to do a Leeds, it's not going to happen, like we're never going to be, we're never going to be in the red, like, oh my god, like we're going to do a Leeds or a Berry, like it's never going to happen. The only statement any of us want to see from Spurs is five players coming through the door in January, because that's what we need. We need five players, at least 150 million pound in players, even if we throw in a couple of loans in that, that squad is that bear from all those injuries and selling all the depth as well, skip, hoibier, LaSelso, Emerson Royale, you know, all that depth we sold and didn't replace it, that's what we need, that's the only statement I want to see from this club in January is five players coming from the door, it won't happen and I won't happen, but that's the only thing I want to hear, I don't even sure that is a failure. And I think Flap's earlier point about messaging is really important, it's something we've covered quite a lot, and Levi's messaging is, his approach to messaging is the overall picture, right? Which is the role that he has and that, like, that's fine, but we don't need that now. Levi will not change the way he is, he's been successful and you argue what success means, but he has been successful, he's the highest paid chairman in all of the Premier League, which is the richest league in the world, and he's built, talking about to be what it was 20 years ago to what it is today, that success, anyway, footballing success, sporting success, so on, different topic, that's where we are now to Flap's point, that's what we want to hear. So, like, I don't know, I think like Langer has, he did an interview last, excuse me, last year or early in the year, I think it was where he sort of touched on some of it and that's, that's the kind of person we need to hear from, the problem is he's not seen you enough and we won't believe everything he says and he won't be able to say everything you need. We need, you know, Levi to come out and say what Marianakis said to Sky Sports recently, that again, Flap's thing, you know, they want to finish in the top six, and that's just not going to happen and we're going to scream ourselves blue in the face if we think that that's going to happen with Levi there.
