Talk with Fr. Barouyr

Episode 70 - Sermon from Boston - Feeding the 5,000 (ARM 🇦🇲 - ENG 🇬🇧)

This week, join Fr. Barouyr for a sermon about Christ and His Apostles feeding the 5,000. At this time, the Apostles asked for an easy way out, to send Christ’s followers away to feed themselves. Christ refused, taking what the Apostles had and multiplying it to provide for the faithful. Christ doesn’t ask for our prayers to give us an easy way out, but rather for us to accept the power of His grace in our lives. As we remember the anniversary of Catholicos Aram’s election and enthronement , we should also remember Sahak II’s catholicosal term. He harnessed the grace and guided the Armenian Church and her people from genocide survivors, to refugees, to thriving communities. This sermon was delivered at St. Stephen Armenian Apostoljc Church in Watertown, Massachusetts, on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
