This Sunday of Lent in the Armenian Church is called Sunday of the Advent. This year, the Armenian Church commemorates St. Gregory the Illuminator’s entry into the Pit on Saturday. As a feast day dedicated the St. Gregory a special day of pilgrimage takes place at the Mother Cathedral in Antelias.
