I've been taken on the other side. I've been taken on the other side. I've been taken on the other side. I've been taken on the other side. I've been taken on the other side. I've been taken on the other side. I've been taken on the other side. I've been taken on the other side. I've never had to come off before half time, thankfully. I've often been pulled off in a second off, which is great because I only used to get a cup of tea at Harley Bowl. The fact is that in the first half, when it was that, I thought we were needing Vera. I was going to get you in touch because now you're being well inside Vera at times. I thought, "Tag it. There's a mother going on." We were absolutely magnificent in seeing that when I said there wasn't a man in the match. I was coming to say that I thought Bruno is getting back now. I've seen the last five home game Steve as you know, and I've seen him live. Now, we've never spoken since a long, long time ago, and everybody's saying about the cutting zone band wearing them down. I think that Bruno owns that cutting zone band. I really do. The icing on the cake for me, just watching it at home, was Bruno. Bruno and his celebration when he got a throw in, and he turned to the crowd and give it that. I would crowd, not their crowd. I thought it was absolutely magnificent. You know what I'm like for passion and whatever? Bruno, honestly, he's a fan spray of it. They love him. But the way he's playing and the way that he's dictating the way, he's starting to become a great cutting, you know, because everybody was asking this. Is this month or two big for him? Is the arm band wearing him down? He'll be the first admit that his form wasn't brilliant. But Bruno is back, by the way. He's been outstanding in the games that I've seen live, and I'll watch him. I mean, you don't see the same game on the telly is what you see live. You know that, and watching him in his movement in the way that he gets he out the pitch, and that thing that I'm saying, the trust, everybody in a black and white church trust Bruno with a ball, it's not a fallacy that is the most fouled Premier League footballer in the country at this time on stats, and he's miles ahead of anybody. Now, then fouls are getting us possession in areas that are really dangerous, you know, and that's what Bruno brings to the table. But not only that, he's worked with it, and what Lee Clark said in a brilliant interview that he did. When me, earlier in the year, he turned round, and I asked him about Sandra and Bruno and how they can play it together, because there was a little bit of a, you know, that weren't really on the same hymn sheet, you know, and Lee turned round, and he said, and it was brilliantly said that we'll work out the way to play it together. And I thought it was brilliant answering. I thought brilliantly, that's what they've done. As professionals have worked out, I didn't like labelling this eight and six and ten, and all carry on. If one man goes, the other one fills in for him. And vice versa, you know, and that's about being a professional. That's about managing your professional in the football pitch. That's what it's about when you're out there, you know, and you're standing out to become good. And I mean, at that, internally, yeah, you might not have been absolutely brilliant, but I still thought it was very, very good, as I did think everybody in a new castle shirt was. Yeah, there's no doubt about it. Alexander Rees acts six goals and six games. And that's a hell of a run, you know, I mean, you know, you're better than mine. He was missing a lot of chances. He still missed one last night, by the way. But yeah, it's a great run. You've got, you know, six goals and six games. No, doesn't look like that's going to fall there either. He's got that. He's got his mojo back. What I see it here is on this chance that you missed, right? When you're striking, you're flying and that's right. Sometimes it doesn't come off, but you know, it's confidence to try that. And yes, it duffed it and it looked crap. But at the end of the day, having that, having that confidence to do that. And if they'd come off and the goalkeeper went aground, I mean, he fluffed it all together. But if the goalkeeper went aground and it had come off, it looked like, oh, what a worldy finish. You know, the one thing I was saying, I did go to get me haircut yesterday. I thought I saw you there, but you weren't there. And I did go to get me haircut yesterday. And there was a guy that come in, sitting in the side there, the seat next to us. And I'll tell you what I did last night, just before I spoke to you. I said, I wrote down on a piece of paper. I've got in front of this two-nil, Newcastle United. He's that first goal. And I didn't think that because I'm not professing that I know everything. I got it off this block that was in the next barber's chair. It was right. He told us that he's at the score with two-nil would be brilliant. And he also turned round and said, didn't get too much off the bug joke. A little bit off that slide, not a lot of that. So he was right on all it comes. Jamie Karagak, last night on Skye, he got the Bernie Castellini back. So basically saying that, was that an impersonation of Jamie? He basically... Oh, that's worth enough. He was basically saying that, you know, he'd been reading the papers. There was a £150 million price tag on his head, et cetera. Isaac's too smooth and too clever to get drawn into ridiculous speculation like that. And, you know, from his perspective, he just turned round and said, you know, I'm in the middle of a season. I'm enjoying my season and I'm enjoying my time at the Castellini night. That's it. I leave that for people like you to discuss. Very smoothly operated by Isaac as he would imagine. But still in the pot there, do a little bit. Well, he's probably splitting feathers, which is better than splitting our supporters, I suppose. But hey, I didn't say that. It was there. I'm just practicing what he's already preached, you know, and probably needed an interpreter at the same time. At the end of the day, Karag is there, you know, he's listening to Karag, at least there when you're listening to Gary Neville, you're getting a pundit that actually knows what he's talking about, you know. He's good on the ear, but he's also good on the eye, Gary Neville. Not that I fancy him and I would like that. But what he says makes sense, you know, and he speaks logic. But when Karag is coming out with rubbish like that, I mean, Isaac doesn't have to raise his soul to that. What I will say about Isaac is when you're in that being a form that he's in at the minute, you're going out there thinking you're going to score in every game, you know, and I thought it was a great goal. I honestly did. You look at his movement, but the ball in as well from Lewis. What a hell of a ball from the full body, you know, he hit it basically on the half volley, and it was a wonderful header. But the nice thing about it as well is when you see a Newcastle United players include an Alexander, he's running, he sucks off for one of the better words, you know, like every one of them were closing down as a big unit. But I mean, Lewis will through we sell at one ball of men, which I think was destined for the goal, you know, and it got him right in the Lewis holes. I mean, Jesus, I mean, his ancestors in London must have felt that one because I felt and I was just watching the telly, but it shows you the commitment of the players that they're doing for each other. And when I see that trust as well, you know, I'm just hoping that when players come in, and the change the unity of the side that Eddie started with, like last night, I thought the substitutions were the right substitutions. If I was going to have a criticism or would have probably said just a little bit earlier, just a tad earlier because when they did come in, our position got better, and we became more solid. And it's just the fact that nobody played badly. It's just the amount of legs and the amount of possession that were hard. And that's when you need a substitute on a pitch, not because you're getting drag because you're having a mayor. It's getting somebody on that's got fresh legs to come on and be a part of the team to do that job. And I thought it was brilliant when he switched will it inside as well, and put your own out on the other side. And that was, and that was great stuff, great management, and in the end, and all room from magnificent performance and the fans are just brilliant with the fans month. They were just different class, honestly screaming heads off. And I love it. And Eddie does it. And I know he does it on purpose. When lose a draw, he takes the players to the fans. But you know what, the living me mind draw, big George trying to join in with the lads, the lads of songs off the terraces last night. Oh man, it was just, he didn't know any other words, but you know what, he was giving it a right go like he does on the pitch and hey, you know what you can score now by the cuff sleeve, the cuff sleeve on your shirt. So that's why I was wore long sleeves. That's a hard ball. A couple of other stats from that state, just about Alexander Isaac. He moved on to 12 Premier League goals for the season. And that's 43 in total now with the club. That Tatum level with both Shola Amigo will be an Andy Cole and a bit closer to that second spot behind Big Al, Joel Lynn, or Joe Ellington, depending on how you like the pronounceings name. There's now got 17 Premier League goals for Newcastle. So that puts him equal in the all time goal score and list with Lauren Robert. And he's got one fewer than current Newcastle United player, Mickey Al Niron. Just as well out of interest, we've mentioned the fact that he scored in six consecutive Premier League games. Other people to do that. Papa Cece 2011 2012. Joe Willick of course, who I've mentioned is potentially playing as a makeshift striker if anything did happen to Isaac 2021. He scored seven goals in seven games and Big Al is at the top of most tables as far as goals score is concerned 1996 to 1997. Seven goals in seven games for him. We've got to give some credit as well to Mark DeBravka. A lot of us were groaning. I think when we saw that it was DeBravka going in nets when Nick Paul got injured. Probably based on the fact that he was so poor when he came in last season, you know, considered the hell of a lot of goals. And it was, you know, it was, you know, embarrassing at times watching him in the goal. He's now kept four successive clean sheets in the Premier League for the first time in his career. And that's the best run by any Newcastle goalkeeper since Nick Paul managed six in 22, 23. It's 360 minutes since Newcastle last conceded the Premier League goal, which is the longest run in the competition since reaching 574 minutes, which is in November 22 and February 2023. So DeBravka, if he's still in Newcastle player, Joe, is it ultimately the goalkeeper we stick with? Or do you think anyhow would bring Paul back in because the defence seems a bit more comfortable with DeBravka in there? I have to tell you the truth. I think we have a lot more comfortable with DeBravka. I think he's kept goal, like I said earlier, you know, he's done what a goalkeeper's meant to do, you know, he's got good on crosses. He kicks the ball well, you know, and he uses the ball well, but at the end of the day, nobody can take away from him, them four clean sheets, you know, and four games. He's the man in form, so Nick Paul will have to do something in training. I mean, I don't know how far away he is from fitness, but at the same time, there's going to be a battle. It's not our choice. It's going to be down the eddy, but at the same time, if the team's winning and the team's playing well, I know if I'm a player, I want to keep that shirt, you know, so I'm going to get that to keep a hold of as much as I can. And at the end of the day, you kind of knock him. You just mentioned a great deal of stats, fantastic stats, but at the end of the day, if he's the man in form, you should keep the shirt. Yeah, I would agree with that. I would certainly keep, you know, keep him in. You know, that's the whole point of competition across the board, you know, making sure that people don't feel as if they're shoeing when they're fit. And the kids, people on the toes and mob bias as I love the Brabka's urgency, they're getting a tax going when he has the ball in his hands. The Brabka, in my opinion, is number one, poor pastor, five, you get the shirt, so lots of comments coming in from people. Thanks for that. Stephen Kennedy says, "Hi lads, bloody sick of everyone in the ex-player pundit is covering the poor man in eight of a form. It's a new mention of our superior player, bloody typical." It's typical of me, there isn't it, Joe? Absolutely boils my thing, right? I swear to you, last night, we've got the camera on that dugout to Rashford. We've got the manager on the camera taking a drink every two seconds, you know, in saying, "Oh, what's Manionate they're going to do here? What, you know, the first time they went to Eddie in the dugout was when we scored and Eddie punched the air and sat down, you know? And so it was about this poor Manionate, you know? At the end of the day, you know, a credit where credit's due, you know? The commentators are even coming up and trying to give opinions about like Rashford and what have you. I mean, Rashford, I've heard rumors in the press saying, "Wait, have Rashford? Wouldn't we have Rashford? I wouldn't want Rashford? Would you want Rashford?" Definitely not. No, that wouldn't. I mean, and the other thing is, everybody thinks Rashford's young. He's 28-year-old, you know? And at the same time, he's going to come with a massive cost and I don't think Rashford's a player for us. But at the end of the day, they're all focused and all the time on Manionate, there's been this big story. What you've got to remember is, Stephen, I know what you do. At the minute, the deliver pool, not in them first, the Newcastle United are the four teams in this country, and that was top leads, the Premier League, and that is fact. We are the best out of them three, right? Equally, it's regarding what we've done and our last four games, because all you can do is beat people and that's what we've done. Yeah, that's it. That's all you can do is beat the teams in front of you guys. It's an incredible run by Newcastle. And it's not unexpected. Eddie Howe always manages to get the right tune out of the black and white fiddle, and he's done it again, and he always goes on this kind of run. And long may continue, we've got some great fixtures coming up. Spurs away, of course, is the next Premier League fixture. And then after that, we've got some great home games, Bombers at home, we've got Wolves at home, we've got Southampton away, jammed in between that. We've got Arsenal in the Cup course away, and the Carabao Cup semi-final, and then we've got the FA Cup game against Bromley. So plenty of games coming up, and just got to hope that Newcastle can avoid any more suspensions, avoid any more injuries, and you just never know where we will end up. Chris says a poor old man here, an excuse after an excuse from the show called pundits, and a big tale, as a skysport news really just can't see past Manchester United. Tom says he'd love it if Manchester United, he would love it, he would love it if Manchester United got behind it. Tom's right, Manchester United are actually in relegation form, they've won one out of the last six. The Manchester acceptant that they could well be in a round game. I think the manager wants to get on the next part of the guard, but... I bet he does, I'd be regretting come, and apart from, you know, if he does get the tin tackle, he'd be getting a big pail. The chance were superb, Craig, and yes, we can't sing the whole thing, but yes, they had seen United in the good day. Depart and go back home, Craig, I mean, is the song that they were singing. So, it's a great, great stuff, we will have a quick and break, we will be back with it. A big thanks to all our sponsors, Skips and Bins. And this is Stephen Kennedy. He says he nearly fell out of his chair when the ad started. He thought I was using magnets to make it the beginning. It wasn't allowed to Stephen. You've got to put up with that for a week and a bit now. So unfortunately it's just the way it is. At least that changed the ad. We're not advertising the Christmas deal now. New Castle play the next game in 2025, the first game of 2025. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It's a 12.30 start. It is live on TNT Sports. All 3,000 away season section tickets have been sold. And Fabian Shaw is suspended after collecting his fifth Premier League booking of the season last night. Rodrigo Bendaker is suspended. Rachalasen. Vicarrio. Uddebur. Davies. The doggy. And van de Ven are all sidelined. Christian Romero is also a doubt. Angpos de Goglie side of 1-4. Drawn 2. And they've lost the other 4 of their 10th Premier League home game so far this season. And they've failed to win any of Bellas 5 in the competition on home ground. They've scored 10 times. They've conceded 15 goals during those five fixtures. Goal as well. He's been involved in the last 10 games in all competitions and that is of course 3-4 stat. Referee for the matches. Andy Mabley to speedy return for the West Yorkshire referee. He was in charge of the 3-3 draw against Liverpool. And on VAR it is Chris Kavanagh. Wow. Big games come and think of Fastue. Tottenham of course is a game which Newcastle have had mixed four tuned in over the years. But going down there with a bit of confidence. Last year we got walked for one. Joel Linton scored the consolation goal. Previous season though we managed to get a 2-1 win. Wilson Almiran with the goals. What's your feelings about this, Joel? Do you think Newcastle can continue because that sharp loss could throw a cat amongst the pigeons? It's pretty major change in the line up. Yeah it's a big change. But at the same time Steve I see Tottenham this season especially is a hot and cold side you know. And the notoriously bad starters at home. I mean it's which I think scored twice against them and rocked them a bit. But when you get in that teams like we did against Manchester, like we have been doing one we've played well this season you know. And I hop on a boat starting from the front. But also you talked about is that Stax and the goals have been more to me than anything as you well know. But he's movement as well. I mean I did see one of the views comments that he said there before. Is that movement has been absolutely superb. And you didn't realise how good of a player is as well when the balls are in speed you know. So when you've got him up front playing against the Spurs defence which you know I've got a good look at the Tottenham team you know. And Archie Greer is a great little player right. He's the grandson of the famous Eddie Greer. And Eddie Greer was at Leeds United when I was on the stuff at Leeds United and he was a fantastic blow Eddie. But Archie Greer's been sent a half. Now if I'm a forward like Isaac. I'm not going to be standing on the other centre off. I'm going to be standing on Archie Greer. Every single time I get the chance to you know. Because he's not a centre off. But this guy, the Australian geyser, he's putting in his centre off because he's lost faith I think with one of the centre backs. He was another one that managed to drag the centre off at half time and said that he's attitude stunk and all the rest of it you know. And they hold him on with the calls you know. But the difference is when we're playing against Tottenham and we're getting off to a good start because that's home. We've batted them over the few seasons haven't we? Yeah. And now we're going into games not thinking I think. I mean, I'm saying that the Brentford are we a game right? And the West Hammers won game was just a blip. That's what I'm saying. Because in all that good format wide even seeing about the three goals that were conceived against Liverpool but we did show absolute spirit and tenacity to come back into the game and get three three draw at the end of the day against who will probably be in my opinion champions this league. So you know you're playing against Tottenham now. And they're excited that can be rocked and they can be beaten. And why shouldn't we go there with confidence with the spirit that we've got you know and we can see in nobody and then get a result at Tottenham and go into this Arsenal game which I'm sure you'll come to but this week now it seems to be every week I'm saying to you this week makes the season. This week makes the season. They're so nutty, oh no, not a million miles away from here. Had a fibre on 500 at the one for us to win a treble. Who's the nutty now, Joe? See, really? No. Two ironies. I won't have the bet. Steven said Joe, great to meet you in person Saturday. Love your fourth right thoughts on the game post Saturday and on the podcast you're involved in. Not only a gentle and honest Nurena. Thank you, Sam. Yeah, this first game is our next game. You know what? I agree with you. I think that Newcastle can go down there full of confidence. I think gradually we're eroding that kind of feeling of, you know, concern, worry and that Stockholm syndrome that we'll keep talking about on here. I think we're eroding this. You know, that was the most confident I've been going to Manchester United and my time supporting Newcastle United. I went down there expecting a win and I predicted the three-nil win last night. We're holding two-nil. It's great to be able to see predictions come through and, you know, that comes with confidence. And I think that's where we're at at the moment. I think Newcastle just need to continue doing what they're doing. And if there's a player dips out, in the past it would have meant, you know, that we would be concerned, worried, obviously it's not great when a player gets suspended or injured. But we are actually, you know, we are looking, as Mark says, like the team from the season before last when we qualified for the Champions League, and that's a confident team. It's a team that can attack and score goals and it's a team that can defend and we're doing it. We're doing it with a clinician, a bit of style in it. I think Newcastle can win that game, Joe, a hundred percent. I am certainly going, I'm going to go for a win down there. And I will give me predictions the day because obviously we've still got a few days off as far as any of you have seen it. And you have seen, Matt, this is a concern before we get back to some kind of normality. The amigos will be the next live show on Friday. So yeah, I'm going to go for it. And you've castily-naded winning that game. I'm going to, we'll get another clean sheet. I'm going to go for another clean sheet, Joe. And I don't see why we shouldn't have another clean sheet. I'm going to go for a more, a quieter game. But I'm still going to go 2-0, Joe. I'm going to go for a new castle 2-0 win. Well, I'm going back to that barbers on the west road to see that blokes in. Yeah, I'm going to ask him what he thinks. And it might be the barber from Seville, but I'm going to go for 2-1 win, believe it or not. I'm going to say that demo score just because when Tottenham do play well going forward, they've got goals in Solangi, they've got goals in Son, you know. And I think the midfield player that gets overlooked a lot. You can see his name, I can't pronounce his name. He's one of the best midfield players in the country, you know. And when he plays well, Tottenham play well. But our engine room of Sandroen Bruno and Big Joe, I'll tell you what. You wouldn't want to get in that scrap with Joe, would you? No. He's brilliant, any. If there's any, any true anywhere on the park, I just love it. I'll just think straight away. And after a fact, Joe's going to be involved in it, like. Yeah. He just jumped in, man, any. He's just there in amongst it. People are trying to rock him. And he's like the big walk. He's like a big walk tree. He's just different class. But when you've got them type of players in that and you've got Gordon with East Tenacity and in his ability as well. And I think he's settling down a little bit. I mean, there was one of the commentators I was listening to because I was slipping in between all the commentaries. And I swear to you, because we're out of time and the biggest load of Horlex I've ever heard. But one of them said that Gordon's actually shown a great deal of maturity. You know, whereas in the past, he would have put his head down and scarred and ran. Now he's taking the time to take his touch. And he's got players that I said before that he entrusted with the ball, you know, and Bruno entrust with a ball. Everybody trust Bruno over the ball. But Big George, well, you get him on the ball Steve. He kind of get that big fella off the ball, you know. He's a rock. And I think when we've got a midfield like that, it's going to be very, very decisive for the outcome of the result on Saturday. Who wins the midfield battle? Because I think Tottenham's not bad in midfield. I really do. Yeah. Mark Bayon says, cool as that ski is the midfield that you don't want to go. Yeah. That's right. Jules, there's nobody to say yet to do. Wishing you up in your year, Jules. Thank you, Jules. It's good to see you and Dave as well. Cheers. I think it's the best midfield in the league, best striker in the league, best left back in the league and best Bruno in the league, which I think would all agree. Mark's going proformial win. Craig Lee says, Gordon has the ability to go up another level. We're more goals and we're more assists in them, which is good for Newcastle United. Blue rhythm boy says, where does Jules think we will finish in the league? And does he think we will win a cup outlet? I'll just remain to people of my prediction, which I sent you. Which I did send Jamie. Me bets different, Jules. Me bets different, because when Jamie Carragher was asking for predictions, that was my prediction, which I sent to Jamie Carragher. I said, Man City would win the league, Arsenal would finish second, Newcastle would finish third, Arsenal would finish fourth, Liverpool would finish fifth, and Spurs would finish sixth. And I said Newcastle would win their first domestic trophy since 1955, and it would be the FA Cup final. That was my prediction at the start of the season. Millie Barnes did chip in, was just with laughing emojis. He supports Man U, by the way. Just because the new Man U in there. I tell you what, I still wouldn't write Manchester City off making drum attempt in the league, but I think it's past then now. I think Man City could probably finish second. I think Liverpool will win the league by a country male. I think Newcastle will finish third. I think Arsenal will finish fourth, and I think it will be probably, and not even for us to reborn within fifth. And the other one will be in sixth. I think it will be a struggle for Villar and Spurs, even though they've got, you know, guaranteed they'll be out with the Champions League at some stage. What's your feelings, your blue rhythm boy wanted to know where you think we'll finish in the league, and do you think we'll win a Cup Joe? Well, BRB, I do think for a fact that now that we're in fifth position, it's in our hands together in the Champions League, you know, and why not? Why not indeed? I mean, you've said about the fixtures. Obviously, the Tottenham game away looks bad, but the Arsenal game and the Cup will come too. But you've got some great home games coming up as well against opposition that's lower down in the leagues. And these are the... you've said, Steve, and you've been seeing it for months. I've got to give you credit for it as well. You see that Eddie always puts that run together. You know, after the Brinford away game and things like that, and there's disruption amongst, you know, that's what we do with fans. We're up and down, you know, but when we're up, we are up by the way, because we're the best supporters in the land as we care about anybody says we are to simple as that. But the difference is, you know, you've got this chance now to really put that run together that you're on about. And that can really stick here into that top four. And once you get in there, like, not in the first assured, like, I mean, you can see anybody can beat anybody. You have a Liverpool only got beat at home off one team this season. It was not as far as it's no fluke that we've just had four clean sheets off the belt and four wins. And you look at Arsenal, you look at Liverpool and not in the first there. They do the two form teams. So, yes, I believe that we can get Champions League sport. I really do. But what I've been saying since the start of this season, and, you know, most of the league cup games that we've been in, this curveball cup is a call, right? It allows me the league cup. But at the end of the day, you know, we're two games away from Wembley. And it's two games that we can win. And I'm just so glad that I never played for Arsenal. Because when we're buttered Chelsea, I played for them and we're buttered them. I played for Brentwood and we're buttered them. I wish I played for Arsenal. Please, I wish I could play for Arsenal. Because that means we'll butter them. But these two games, what I will say, Steve, stay in the tie after this first leg. Stay in the tie at Highbury. Whatever the call it these days. That's that lovely place in London, the weather play, right? Stay in the tie, which means being a beat for 3-1 or 4-1. If you're going to get done, get beat by a goal. Please get a draw. Even better. Pretty please. Get a win. Go there. And then Comeless in James's Park, but Comeless in James's Park, being in the competition still. Not being 4-1 down or 3-1 down or whatever. We've got to be at St James's Park with a crowd behind us. And I think we can beat anybody at St James's Park. Because I said since the start of the season, we need to turn it back into a fortress. Nobody wants to come and play at St James's Park. Trust us. And we batted Arsenal in the league. That was up there with the best performance that I've seen this season from Newcastle United. I thought we were brilliant against Arsenal. You know? And we could beat them again. There's no reason. So I'm going to say it to the Blue Ribbon Boy. Yes. We're going to Europe. I don't know whether we're going to be third or fourth. Because if we get in the Champions League at the fourth plot, that'll do me. But I really do think that our name is on the Carabao Cup. Okay. I've got some great moderators and there's some great people and a lot of people in there who well we've met at the Christmas deal. Thanks again, everybody who took the time out to come along to that. Barry, good evening, mate. The 86 were up till now on the Newcastle United spreadsheets, the transfer ins. Linked with 86 players. Absolutely crazy. That's Barry's. Thanks, Joel. Keep it coming in, mate. It was more important when we got Ben Jacobs back on the show next week. Barry says, "Joel, Steve, do you think our upturn inform will guarantee we spend nothing in January?" He's a bit concerned. We may not spend any money now that we've found some winning form. But lots of paper talk with a minute about potentially midi going. Long staff again being mentioned and dispatches about going. And those players going, obviously, changed the dimension and the dressing room, but also means that Newcastle will have to bring players in, Joel. Are you concerned about this transfer window? Do you think we're going to have many ins and outs? What's your feeling? What's your good feeling before the window officially opened? Well, looking at last, transfer windows and all supporters have been disappointed and have not been disappointed along with them. Because at the end of the day, we need to bring players into the club. This is the time when you're having a great run and when you're having great form, and you're in these positions, you're strengthening them. This is when you're strengthening the scores. This is when, if you get, I mean, everybody's saying for months and months that we need is somebody on the right, somebody on the right. We've already got Willick right, Murphy's right. There's other players that can play there, you know, there's Mickey and whatever. Whether he goes and he's got to be sold, he has to be sold because it's a business. All the business, I'm sorry, he's been a great servant. But if we need to get coffers in to spend on players, we have to bring players in. And it's down to the scouting system. It's down to where people have been looking to bring players in that are out of the clubs. Clubs that way, you know, you've got to pay top dollar for players now. We know that. But in the words of Keegan, when Kevin Keegan used to bring players in, Steve, I used to love Kevin Keegan's attitude because it wasn't the case that he was getting rid of the David Kelly's or the Andy calls and whatever because they were bad because they were brilliant. But you were bringing in Alan Shearer, you know, you're bringing in the best in the world. In my eyes, you know, it was a master's book. But if you can bring a player in that can make your squad better and enhance your team, yes, you bring them players in. I mean, Peter, I was going to mention Mike alone. I promised me Stella wouldn't mention Mike alone. But when Mike alone comes to Newcastle, right, Mike alone was finished yet. He's haunted us all of his career. He played brilliant against us, especially us. But when Peter basically come back, Peter has been a superstar when he left Newcastle to play for Liverpool and Everton. When Peter basically come back to Newcastle, he was a superstar again. He was brilliant when he come back to Newcastle. So you don't want players coming back that are not going to enhance the squad. You need a player to come back that's going to make your squad better, but invariably be putting pressure on players that are holding them positions because you do, yes, you want a winning team and yes, we love to have a winning team. But you want to have the players under pressure to keep the players. I mean, I will mention the fact, I wasn't going to mention it, but I'm going to mention it about trivia. There needs to be better, you know, I'm nitpicking. I've got a nitpick. There needs to be better conversation between the dugout and when the physio is on the pitch because I'm reading Peter's body language and I'm reading his lips. And pretty much he was saying he's done his armstrings coming off. You know, he's struggling. And then all of a sudden he's thrown his toys out the pram because he got dragged and he didn't want to come off. So you've got to understand that communication between the touchline has got to be, are you fit? Are you not fit? And it's as simple as that because that moment of coming on, you've got a ready-made replacement until you know a liveramento. And he's did great when he come on, you know, and he hasn't been great when the games that he's been playing with late. He's been great earlier, you know, he's fantastically well. But in the last couple of games, he wasn't at his best. So when trivia come in, you think, oh, we'll look a little bit more subtle. We'll look a little bit more better. But the competition, what I'm getting at is the competition for places is so healthy at a football club. And it's all about the eleven that go out on the day. And then the subs that's on the bench to make an impact when they come on. I would agree with him, mate. Question for Joe from Tom. If he's actually stopped at Newcastle for the long term, do you think he would break shoe red record? I think he's brilliant. And thanks for the question, Tom. But I don't think he'd break Alan's record. I think Alan's record will stand, and it'll stand forever. I really do. And he deserves it. OK, good stuff. Lots of people putting names into the mix for transfers. We will be doing a lot more about that in the new year. Is it just me and Barry, who thinks at times, he's at Mrs. Poor Chances rather than past it with the players. I know centre forwards have to be greedy, but bloody hell man, he says. He's got a bit frustrated, Barry, about he's at missing that chance last night. The thing is, Barry, sometimes on a forward, you can make bad decisions. You're not missing chances on purpose, you know. You make bad decisions as a player. And he's probably made a bad decision. Afterwards, you know, probably thought, I should have drilled it across the goalkeeper. And he might have scored. You know, but at the end of the day, what I'm saying here is, you've got to forgive him the misses to get the goals. Because he's movement to get into the box. You wouldn't have seen another player doing that. And what he's got, I love it that he's scoring goals. Half the goals that he scores inside the six-yard box. For me, they're better than 30-yard top score. Top volleys and the top bins or whatever the college. I couldn't reach from there. I reached once. That was the worst thing I'd ever had. I think when I scored from 25 yards, they thought I was going to score from there all the time. Well, the rest of the goals didn't go to all 25 yards. Anyway, the fact is that he's probably made wrong decisions. But on the whole, are you happy with the fact that these goals for games ratio is up there? Tom said, "Jour, how many chances have you missed when you played my new cutter?" Too many times, Tom. But at the end of the day, you've got to be there to miss them, right? And you should never, in the words of Superman, who I remember he wrote, not a biography once, and it was entitled "Never Afraid the Miss." And that was one thing. I was never afraid to miss. Because I knew if that one was going to miss, and the next one didn't go in, the next one was going in, or the next one after that was going in, or the next one after that was going in. And that's how streamlined you've got to be as a forward. You didn't worry about the ones you missed. You worry about the ones you scored. Exactly. Okay. We'll look ahead to the Carabao Cup game as well, because we'll have a show with you. It'll be after that game is taking place. It's Tuesday week, week to day, January the 7th. It'll be an eight o'clock kick off. New Castle. They've got 6,000 tickets for that match. Still a few tickets available for that. And Fabian Shaw and Bruno miss out on those on the first leg. They both got a suspension in the Carabao Cup as well. Our route to the semi-final saw us draw 1-1 with running on for us, but we're on penalties. Beat Wimbledon, 1-0 at home. Beat Chelsea, who won 2-0 and beat Renford at home in the quarter final by 3 goals to 1. As for Arsenal, Saka has undergone surgery to correct the hamstring problem. And this predicted to be out for a minimum of 2-1, so he won't make it. They got to the semi-final by Beaten Bolton at home, 5-1. Beaten pressed north end away at 3-0. Beaten Crystal Palace at home by the narrow margin of 3 goals to 2. The referee has been announced for that game. It's Craig Porter. It's his fourth game in charge of a Newcastle fixture. We've won 1-1, so that went home. Grown 1, Everton away. And a lot won. West Ham at home so far. VAR for this game as well is on for the Carabao Cup and it will be John Brooks. It is live on Sky Sports, ITV1 and ITVX. The match order mirrors that of Newcastle's previous TV cook semi-final appearances. That was where we lost to Spurs 1-0 away, but then won 3-1 at home. And then of course Southampton. We won 1-0 away and then won 2-1 at home to get to Wembley. This will be the fifth time that the two sides have been paired in this competition. Newcastle losing each of the first four without finding the net. And it's a huge game, but it's only half-frame when this game finishes Joe. And for me, ultimately, this is I still think it's the best chance Newcastle have got of winning a trophy. Definitely, I mean, Steve, let's finish what's been dying since the first cook team, you know, at the winner trophy. And it's got to happen sometime. You know, the law of averages here, but we're going into it where it's actually in our hands. That's the best thing ever. You know, it's there for you. It's in your hands. And you'll never get a better chance. I mean, whether it was Arsenal or whether it was Tottenham or whether, you know, whether you play at this stage of a competition. And even in the final, if we get to the final, you're going to be playing the best because invariably that's what happens. But she's keeping this game right for this half-time like you're on about it. I was going to ask you a question because I generally don't know. Is it a way goals rule as regarding the whole aggregate score in the lead cover? I don't know. I think it's lovely goes back. It goes to it'll go to penalties, won't it? That's the rules in this competition. I don't think the way goals come into the competition. Because the children are all that many times, that's still going to now offside. You'll have to explain offside this. But yeah, I mean, look, it's one of those, isn't it? It's, you know, Newcastle go down there, you know, hopefully off the back of a decent result that Spurs would be great. But it's a great opportunity to get back to Wembley, Joe, isn't it? Any chance of a chance to get to Wembley is good. Newcastle have been there before enough, you know, would want to put the record straight, wouldn't it? Yeah, it'll be great. I mean, it's not the day out anymore, you know. It'll be a chance that you can actually grasp the trophy. You know, there's been times where you can say ifs and buts and whys and whares and hows and whatever. But when you've got it in your own hands, you know, you've got a great opportunity. Let's get through, you know, we'll get through the Tottenham game first. We'll take Arsenal and this is the most important bit to stay in the competition after that first game. I know, literally, you can't be knocked out after the first game. But you know what I understand, you understand what I mean. You know, stay in the game so that we can get them back to St James's Park. And what a night that's going to be for that second leg, man. Oh, my God, I'm buzzing. Wiggles. Wiggles don't count at all in the Carabao Cup semi-finals just to confirm. Joe, who would you play instead of Bruno at Arsenal? Would you play a long start? Would you play Miley or would you play Willa? Well, you've got to play one of the ones that's had more games. So unfortunately, Lewis, he hasn't had much as regarding. I think he played, what, a 90-minute game in there, the only 23s or something like that, which is great. But he needs to get more games on these bad before he could come in there, I think. So if it's a shootout between Willa and Longstaff, I'm going to Longstaff straight away for the away leg. Just for the fact that Sean Longstaff is so dependable at doing a unique job. In a holding role, and he could do that and probably give Sandro a little bit more leniency to go more forward. But I think it's more solid to have Sean Longstaff in there. People might not agree with that, but at the end of the day, Sean Longstaff's put 200 times for the first team, you know. And he's never let Newcastle United down once in the year as one of our own. Yeah, in wrestling stuff, it's a hard one to call, depends on what he's looking for out of that first leg. As you say, you want to stay in it. So I think he may well go for Longstaff in that game. A lot of people would like to see Willa, it means we're going on the front foot mechanic to try and win the game. But yeah, be interesting to see what Eddie does. I think it'll be a tight game that I think will be tended. If I'm going to go for a score draw in that game, I think it'll be 1-1. I think it'll be too tight. Too tight to call, which sets us up nicely for the return match at St James's Park. Well, I'm going to go for 1-1 and I'm sure what about you. Yeah, I'm going to go for a draw 2-2, but only for the fact that if we start with Sean Longstaff as well, the other thing that you have got is when you're looking at the bench to bring somebody on to make the change. And Willa hasn't had lots and lots of games, you know. He had a little spell when he got back into the side, but he's brilliant to bring off the bench. You know, and he can change a game as well. You know, he can play in unseen positions. But I'm going to go for a score draw, but 2-2. It's just because I think that will both come out, both teams, and play a tack in football, because Austin will not play the same game that the play that's in James's Park, which was quite negative after all for an Arsenal team. You know, but when Arsenal have been bad this season, they've been bad at home. So this is a semi-final at the end of the day. So the crowd will be really, they'll be absolutely. One Arsenal will be coming out there with all guns blazing. The gunners were guns blazing, but Willa Magpie is dampening. Let's hope so. And I would like to say something just before we then go. I'd like to thank everybody at NUFC matters for everything that they've done, for the charities that we support with dementia and with the cat and dog shelter, the Newcastle people don't say it enough, but I want to thank, for all of our behalf to them from the bottom of the heart, everything that they've done, because it's very, very hard time economically, right? And there's not a lot of money going about. And to dip into the pockets and give to us, I just think, heartfelt, thanking so much, and I wish them all a happy, happy new year.
