England v Bangladesh was a one sided affair, in their second game of the Cricket World Cup. Joe Root, Dawid Malan and the boys posted a huge score. In response Bangladesh didn't really do anything. As an early innings spell from Reece Topley effectively ended the chase before it began.  Later Pakistan took on Sri Lanka in a thriller. Kusal Mendis was brutal once more, and was ably backed up by Samarawickrama. However, in response, and pursuing a record score to win a Cricket World Cup game, Pakistan were excellent.
