The 2021/22 Ashes series is underway, as The Cricket Podcast boys get together to recap day one of the second Test between Australia and England. Entering day 3 of the day/night Test, England will need to hope that they are in a good position to level the series. Australia, on the other hand, will want to ensure their good start wasn't wasted and will be looking to go 2-0 up. On the day England started with hope, as Root and Malan built a fine partnership before the first break. However the afternoon session was a disaster for England, as they collapsed to leave Australia on the verge of 2-0.
