Part two of our IPL 2021 second half preview (feat. Dan Weston), continues with Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals. The current top four in the tournament.
Mumbai Indians have slightly underperformed expectations, but will be moving to more favourable conditions for the second half of their tournament. Royal Challengers Bangalore, on the other hand, have outperformed initial expectations, proving that they got their recruitment right for this year.
CSK have rebounded amazingly from 2020, featuring Moeen Ali, Jadeja, and some great leadership from Dhoni. Delhi, meanwhile, have been lead by Prithvi Shaw and Shikar Dhawan, who have score more than half their runs between them.
Can they hold their advantage?
