And after that, Pete Johnson himself with Bus Robinson Blues version I, recorded in New York in April 1939. I've been trying to find out who Bus Robinson was, but no success so far. If you have any idea, do email me. Right, back to the ladies now. This is the lovely Deborah Coleman. [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] Well, in 1967, the blue horizon label recorded a session with Champion Jack Dupree and T.S. McPhee. And for some reason, it sat in the vaults until they released it in 2005. From that, this is Dupree and McPhee, my home in Mississippi. [music] My home's in Mississippi. What am I doing in here? My home's in Mississippi. What am I doing in here? [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] J.B. Lenore went down in Mississippi. From the album released in 1995, Vietnam Blues, the complete L&R recordings. And before that, Dupree and McPhee, with my home in Mississippi, it's a great album. Champion Jack doesn't play piano, just sings, Tony McPhee on acoustic guitar, terrific stuff. Well, this has been nothing but the blues with me, Cliff, and the website is 3w's.nothingbuttheblues.co.uk. This is Black at Bone. Thanks for listening. Hope you'll join me again next week. For another hour of Nothing but the Blues.
