[music] Now when you needed me, I was always around. [music] Now I need you baby, you'll know where to get from. [music] Now you're gone, down and low. [music] Yeah! [music] Now they say a fool, and it's running soon far. [music] I was a fool, forever opening my heart to you. Got my money, now you're gone, down and low. [music] Said please forgive me, I was your best friend. [music] Got my money, now you're gone, down and low. [music] Now you're gone, down and low. [music] Got my money, now you're gone, down and low. [music] Said come back home, round all day. [music] Got my money, now you're gone, down and low. [music] Now you're gone, down and low. [music] Got my money, now you're gone, down and low. [music] Got my money, now you're gone, down and low. [music] Got my money, now you're gone, down and low. [music] Oh yes, welcome to nothing but the blues with me, Cliff. And that was double trouble getting us off with Groundhog Day. Double trouble of the guys who were Stevie Ray Vaughan's rhythm section. Tommy Shannon on bass and Chris Layton on drums. And this is an album they put out in 2001 called Been a Long Time and features various guests. This track has Johnny Lang on vocals, surprisingly not on guitar. It's got Gordy Johnson, Danny Freeman on guitars. Well there's no special theme this week, just great blues. And I'm going to keep it moving now with Johnny Hooker and Bonnie Ray. [music] I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love, yes I am. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love, yes I am. I said, that I'd turn the right time to be the one you love. But night and night come baby, you so far away, baby. I'm in the mood, long, long, long. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood, all long, I'm in the mood with love. What a rate! Well yes, my daddy told me to leave that man alone, yes he did. But my daddy told me to leave that man alone, yes he did. But my daddy told me to leave that man alone, yes he did. But my daddy told me to leave that man alone, yes he did. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love. Right, Charlie. Hey, baby. Hey, baby. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love. Charlie. If I can't be with you, baby. I don't want to be even no, no one else. I can't get my thrill, baby. Let that be for you, you, you, you. 'Cause my life turns right to high. Oh, love, I love the be with the one you love, you love. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love. Oh, hold on, I'm in the mood with love. Oh, Charlie. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love, you, baby, you, baby. I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood with love, you, baby, you, baby. I love you, I love you, I love you, you, you. I love you, I love you, baby. What can I do, what can I do? I hear you call, I'm in the mood, I'm in the mood. Some of your love, some of your love, I'm coming. Some of your love, some of your love, I'm in the mood. I'm in the mood, baby, I'm in the mood with some of your love. Oh yeah, John Lee Hooker and Bonnie Raised, and I'm in the mood. From his 1989 album, The Healer, which featured various other guests like Carlos Santana, Robert Cray, and Charlie Musselwhite. And I saw Bonnie Raised live a couple of years ago, absolutely fantastic, amazing, sadly I never saw John Lee alive. And I don't think I could have ever seen the next guy live, because I think he was murdered the year I was born. This is Sonny Boy Williamson on Good Morning, Little School Girl. [MUSIC] Hello, Little School Girl. Good Morning, Little School Girl. Can I go home? Can I go home? [MUSIC] Now, you can tell your mother and your father, that Sonny Boy Williamson. [MUSIC] I woke up this morning. I woke up this morning. Lord, I couldn't leave. Lord, I couldn't leave sometimes. [MUSIC] Why, that I didn't have no blue woman, but I was all Mr. [MUSIC] Now you be my baby. Come on and be my baby. I'll buy you a time. I'll buy you a time. [MUSIC] Well, if you don't be my little woman, then I won't buy you a dog on the bank. [MUSIC] I'm gonna buy me an airplane, I'm gonna buy me an airplane, I'm gonna fly over this plane, I'm gonna fly over this plane. [MUSIC] Don't buy the ones that I'm loving, that I ain't going to let my airplane down. [MUSIC] I don't know how to learn, I don't know how to learn. They wouldn't screw, they wouldn't screw. [MUSIC] Well, that I don't want to never hurt you feeling or ease a good lane. [MUSIC] Possibly one of the most recovered songs in the blues, Sonny Boy Williamson with Good Morning Little School Girl. But he wrote it and he recorded it then in May 1937. I'm gonna come forward a bit now to 1980. I've not played a lot of sun seals lately, so I thought I'd put that right. This is Sun seals and landlord at my door.
