Mark Allen and his series on what he calls a "second season" or race schedules that are in the late summer and autumn.
- Sleep required for recovery
- Eat early to avoid feeling stuffed (stabilize blood sugar and hormones)
- Drink in moderation or not at all (adverse effect on muscle regeneration)
- Start getting to bed 1 hour before you plan to start sleeping
