In order to be a disciple of Christ, you must first believe. Once you believe, you must follow. A follower is not yet a disciple, but is on the journey to discipleship. A follower must leave what is less important behind in order to follow what is most important. In the case of Jesus' disciples, they needed to leave the traditions of religion behind in order to follow the truths of Jesus. This is Discipleship 101!
