Returning to the states is a whirlwind for Dawn as she attempts to catch up on sleep, dodge questions about her love life, and remain in contact with Wiesiek. Though she resolved to keep her engagement a secret until she could tell her parents, the pressure builds and she cracks, sharing the news with friends in Maryland.
