figured it out, but I don't know. We're going to see them tie their figure it out. It was awesome. It was stupid. Yeah, they get absurdly, you know, I enjoy visual logic puzzles, but it got to the point where I was like, "Ugh, no." Let's see. I've been playing the hot new Xbox 360 exclusive Banjo-Kazooie, nuts and bolts. Yes, time for that. No, I saw you playing it, but yeah. That was one of my favorite games of the last two. And I bought it because I really wanted to support it because you told me that you really liked it and I heard from some other people that it was really good. I just never got around to it. As far as Xbox 360 exclusives of 2008, that might be my favorite thinking back. Man, I have that game. I need to go play that one. Or Viva, actually Trouble in Paradise is better. Okay, I'm actually enjoying this a lot more than I enjoyed Viva Pagnata 2. That's fine. I can respect that. I, man, like just to give you an idea of how much this game has sucked its hooks into me, barring the fact that I'm trying to go through it as leisurely as possible because I don't want to feel like I'm forced to go through it as quickly as I can because the saboteur was enough of that. Last night, I, at like 11.30, I said, "Okay, I'm going to turn it off because I have some stuff I have to read." And then about 15 minutes later, like this idea struck me for a vehicle and I turned it back on and played for another hour and a half. Yes, the building and stuff for me, Arthur is much more of a min-maxer when it comes to that, where he's going to sit there and spend a bunch of time creating like the world's best vehicle. Whereas me, like, I never cared about getting like, there's three tiers in the events that you do, like whether you get like some music notes, like coins, basically a jiggy which you need to proceed or a trophy, which you get like the trophy and the jiggy. I was never shooting for trophies. I was just always shooting for jiggy's. And so for Arthur makes like these really awesome perfect vehicles. Mine were like these clunkers that would get the job done. And I'm not even making them to accomplish objectives. No, you're just making them. I'm just making them because I'm like, "Holy shit, could I do this?" Yeah. Like I saw, did we see a motorcycle in the tutorial video? No, I don't think we saw motorcycles. It's just something you were like, "I should build a motorcycle." Yeah, like so like my first like serious, this is my own thing and it's not a variation of like the bucket with wheels that you're carrying around. Yeah, they could be general templates to work on if you want. It's basically I just took an engine and stuck wheels and fueled to it in a seat. They just started tearing around the test garage. And I just slowly started figuring out how I could add to it with, by adding the least to it, by getting the most performance out of it. And it turned out that the next mission I had to do was a race. Yeah, and it worked perfectly for that. Yeah. Man, it's like I would like this game. It's like playing with Legos in a lot of ways. That's exactly like playing with Legos. Except Legos that then you can go into a playground and make do things. Yes. And Legos that obey the laws of physics more or less. Like if you get a propeller, you can put it on the front of something with wings or you can put it pointing up on the top of your vehicle. You can put it in the back to make you haul ass. Yeah, you put it on the top and it turns it into a helicopter. So I did another thing I did that Anthony, like I made vehicles literally in the first hour and a half of this game that Anthony never did. I never bothered with the helicopter because again, when I played, I basically always had my one vehicle that was based off the starting vehicle and I eventually just continued to add on to that one to make it so I could have it for any purpose. By the end, my standard vehicle I rolled around with had the ability to do vertical takeoffs with inflatable balloons. Nice. So then I would then deflate and deploy my wings because they were wings that would slide out. Oh, red. And then I would take off. Oh. And then if I, then I had wheels that I think could retract. And so I could retract my wheels and undoploy my wings and fall into water. And I had these balloons that could inflate so I could float on water in a propeller in the back so I could just haul ass like a fucking, what are those things called? The swamp boats you always see? Oh, yeah. That's a swamp boat, I think. So yeah, it was like my all-purpose ship. Now it wasn't the best at any one thing though. It really was like an all-around character, but it wasn't like super fast or didn't handle especially well, but I could do everything with it where there had some really good specialty. Your vehicle was built for like a race around the world? Yeah. Like I'll get a mission and I'll be like, well, I could do this and it would be perfect for this. Let me spend an hour for this mission making a vehicle. Yeah. Yeah. And then you can paint it once it's done so it doesn't look like a collection of miscoered legos as it is inclined to do. And I mean, you have to juggle like how much it weighs versus how much power you're giving it and if it's too powerful and not balanced enough, you're just gonna like spin out all over the place. Although I definitely got to the point with my second motorcycle design where I was doing circled donuts like perfectly in the test track. And then I made a helicopter which Anthony never did. Yeah. I had more like a gyrocopter like I had a propeller, but it was also like, I had always had to be moving forward. Like at this point, I just want to go through levels so I can unlock more parts to make more vehicles. Right. Yeah. Are the pieces like when you add pieces to it like it adds weight and that actually messes with the physics of the actual like the adding weight affects the physics. Yeah. Like if you were built up like a something with a ton of weight on the right side, it wouldn't drive. Okay. And I mean you need to balance weight correctly or it'll just tip over forward or back if it's a motorcycle type thing. Yeah. I probably put like an hour and a half into the game when it came out but got sidetracked for whatever reason. But I know one thing. Do you own it? I do own it. Oh man. We should all play some multiplayer. Why wouldn't you own that game? It was so cheap. It's still. It's 1999 new. Like it is. Yeah. And it's like a 12 hour game. I mean it's long. You can spend a long time on it. Everybody goes at all and platformers even have like a passing interest in collectathons then I just can't stress enough. And the writing's really good in it too. It is. It doesn't take itself seriously at all and it shits on rare like on a regular basis in a very funny way. Yeah. Like they realize the grab by Gullis did really terribly and they'll point that out. Yeah. And how all of Banjo is just super aged and not relevant to the current sort of console landscape. But the reason I started playing that is to sort of get over playing a lot of fucking saboteur over the last week and a half which Anthony also played. We both had reviews for our respective plays. I know it's hard to even talk about it on the podcast. Because you had eventually. Aye, it was kind of like you just want to move on with your life. And for this game in particular because I think that we both feel like our reviews, the tones of our reviews are much more negative than the scores we gave it. Yeah. I mean it's easy to be critical of that game because there are a lot of things wrong with it. But like it's a so basically in my review I equated it you know because it is supposed to be in a way not supposed to be something intended to this be but it's pandemics like swan song you know. It's their thing they're going to go out on but in the end I equated it in my final line to being closer to like a pop song that is like occasionally catchy but ultimately totally not memorable at all. It's like a song that gets to number 11 on the charts but never quite makes it into the top 10. Yeah I mean it's still a cool game and it does some cool things like during the times when all you're doing is like running through setting bombs like an insane mad bomber and shooting guys it's fun during those times. But like during the stealth parts or you know just I think we talked about like they just have all these cool ideas and then they never take them far enough like. Everything is everything is exactly what it appears on the surface like if there's no deeper. Like you know how you go and you make the city go from black and white to color as you give people the will to fight but like you know both me and Arthur saw like the will to fight basically entailed that it was color now and supposedly there weren't the Nazis wouldn't really follow you in there but mostly all it did was just that it made it color. There were still Nazis on street corners still Nazis and towers if you hadn't blown them up and on top of that it wasn't like you would randomly see the French resistance run out into the street and murder a few Nazis. Yeah the only time there was any sort of market sign of resistance is because that was part of the part of the story. Yeah. Like it's just I mean the effect on the world was really minimal sadly. I mean stuff blows up real good. Yeah they did. This is explosions are really satisfying. I mean there's something to be said I mean that's why I'm saying you're like an insane Irish bomber car bomber you'll just roll up and it has like the thing like a the same way that red faction did where you can make goddamn car bombs and drive them into things except they don't work as well because you don't have bombs. I mean you eventually you do get bombs that you can detonate with a remote but typically you're just. Oh really? I never even got those. Oh wow. Yeah I mean the way you plan a car bomb is like you just put dynamite in it and jump out and jump out while it's racing a top speed is something and hope that it hits what you're aiming at. Yeah. And the it's like the characters and stuff like they have really good voice actors and stuff and they have a story that is cliched but could be interesting but they never do anything with the characters to make them like characters that you care about and they're just like you're like when someone dies it's supposed to be important you're like yeah whatever. Right and they start with a premise that sort of takes the World War II modus operandi and does something kind of interesting with it and then it just devolves in the same bullshit cliched is like it fucking kind of tiptoes into Wolfenstein territory with like a little bit of like a pulp fiction moment. Yeah like magic you know Nazis are magic and science mad scientists like there is a there is the equivalent of the pulp fiction briefcase in this fucking game and and like a like more than any other game too it ends up feeling a lot like a like another open world game because it's still very much you know like at least in Grand Theft Auto when you were running over people and causing random violence it was like you're just kind of a criminal but in this you're like fighting for these people and helping the resistance and sometimes you'll just like nail people with your car or you know blow people up on accident or someone will get shot by you in accidents like there's no real consequence for any of these things. Yeah it's just I'm it just doesn't feel particularly well executed I mean it's it's not it's more mechanically sound than mercenaries to was and I actually enjoyed mercenaries to like I know a ton of people didn't yeah but I played through and enjoyed mercenaries to including right up to the point where you need to get the bunker buster it it just it just seems to me that it's like it feels like a game that they've made in like a year instead of a game that took them as long to make as it did yeah which are you know I remember this game being previewed or like an eight years ago I should say yeah like I think they revealed this game 2006 or something it was a long time ago and and I mean people when news of pandemic closing broke a lot of people did the typical at this point a fucking overblown oh fucking EA those evil bastards like how could they do this and and I'll admit that I also chimed in a little bit like because I was sad that they did it right before Thanksgiving but honestly pandemic has never performed particularly well I mean yeah maybe in the ps2 era they closed they closed the Brisbane studio in Australia earlier this year after the Batman Dark Knight thing happened last year and you know it's just been one thing after another I honestly don't think EA would have a well there's just me guessing but I wouldn't have been surprised if EA wouldn't have acquired them in the first place that hadn't been part of buying BioWare yeah well I don't think that's just you I think a lot of people probably are of that opinion I am as well I just think that I of all the corporations that could have picked up pandemic because it was this console generation it was bound to happen that somebody would pick up pandemic of all the corporations they could I think EA gave them the most rope with which they hung themselves like they gave them I mean just imagine the budgets of games like mercenaries to and then this and then one of what could have been one of the biggest license games in 2008 which turned into one of the biggest license games of 2009 in the Batman license and they just I mean pandemic just fucked it up every time and the Lord of the Rings game I I just feel like that probably has to do with a lack of enthusiasm electronic arts sort of saying that game was like that game just ended up being really terrible what more of the ring games to pandemic for the ring conquest yeah it was a EA game from late last year hmm was it last year or maybe early this year I think it was really this year so it was like where the rings battlefront yeah okay I remember that okay you tried to walk it out yeah what happened to what to the dark night game exactly did they were I just think that they were the whole thing was that they were supposed to finish it day and day with the movie and they didn't they didn't even come close and they I mean they were way over budget and way behind schedule and so there was like some theory like what it cost him like 70 million dollars or something like that they could have made in profits if they'd finished it on time oh I I don't know like it was just estimated based on like previous movie tie-in super yeah they missed out on this much I mean that was like one of the biggest movies of that year right and it was like a nerd association and yeah yeah they they they lost the license so yeah they lost Batman as a result of that you know which is good for us right because we got Arkham Asylum yeah exactly you want to get your cat off the table as she approaches what's left of my food and open drink oh sorry it's kind of better um but yeah I just there are so many this is 2009 and there have been so many huge advances in open world games just this year I mean red faction gorilla obviously comes to mind which did red faction gorilla was what people wanted mercenaries to to be dude no joke um and then like the Grand Theft Auto expansions did the story element really really well and Assassin's Creed took a historical setting and made something extremely compelling out of it and I mean the saboteur doesn't none of that and some of the best parts of the game is like the music and it is really good the licensed music but a lot of it isn't appropriate it isn't surprising if you like like in Fallout right you end up feeling like you're listening the same songs a lot because that actually doesn't have that many songs in there but like the saboteur like 20 songs huh oh it's got like 20 songs oh I don't remember that many it always seems like there's like five right when you're listening out when you're listening you go see news radio yeah um but in this one it seems like when you play the saboteur it seems like there's like two you're just like there's like two songs you're just constantly here I mean and that's that's simplifying it like there's there's like probably 12 or 14 I'm not saying that there isn't but I'm saying we're always hearing the same that it sounds like when you get in a car you're just like in your mind when you think back on the games and the tired you're like man it was like there's two songs in that game yeah like in my review I talk about how there was a moment near the beginning like I think it's the first mission that Luke gives you where you blow up this little supply thing or whatever where I set my dynamite without being seen which is a miracle because the stealth mechanic in this game is broken um I get in my car and the dynamite goes off and people freak out and I'm driving away and and the way music in cars works in the game is that it'll be sort of a static-ay-am thing and then it'll slowly fill out and become this much more become game music oh okay queer soundtrack item and so this song that that's one of the the good songs that they include swelled into my speakers and I and I as I'm driving back to the cabaret that I call home and that is a very striking moment in that game but unfortunately it never really goes deeper than that and there are titties yeah so saboteur I still think it's fun I still had fun with it but I mean I don't know that I you know I just don't think I probably would have beaten it for like a year from now like I would have played it for a few hours and then stopped and then when there was other stuff I would have picked it up later but like in this time frame like with all these other games right coming out I mean there are just so many other games that dude some of the stuff it does yeah especially if you're an open world fan there's just this year is really good for that genre yeah which sucks I mean I wish it was I wish it was different but I did play a worse game though yeah I got to play rogue warrior for a while oh fun uh rogue warrior may well be the worst looking retail game I've seen this year yeah I remember I wrote something at e3 the Bethesda didn't like for games about like a booth report and it had something to do with the fact that in their booth it was like the most exciting thing to see there was a fallout expansion because other than that they had like wet some medieval games mini game thing and then they had rogue warrior it was like rogue warrior looks like a Nintendo 64 game yeah and that's what I'm saying rogue warrior looks the same now as it did when I saw it at e3 from right from the very beginning and I honestly I only played about 15 minutes which is funny because then I I held it up to Tom Price and said this game is awful and he said why I have to play that uh and he put it in his 360 and played and stopped at exactly the same point I did um the early part it's like you're supposed to stealth and kill people or you can just take them out silently but in the early parts it wasn't even like it was a challenge to stealth because the guys always had their back turned to you and they would never let there wasn't like they were doing like the I might turn around thing it was like no and then another thing I guess that game is known for which I don't I didn't see audio I just saw being played but I guess the guy just swears like yeah all the there's more swearing there's almost as much swearing in that game as there is in house of the dead overkill um but it's not funny um it's like a really tired Mickey Rourke the dialogue delivery is fucking awful and the like the sound quality is super echoey and tinny it sounds like he's reading it in a shed like over a toilet like he just did it from a a bathroom in a in a in a airport while he was like going out to a real movie shoot or well no it's like he he signed the contract for this before like he did the wrestler or something and and he's just begrudgingly completing his contract but uh but the dialogue is really stupid the the characters look awful the game looks terrible the frame rate is in the teens for most of the first 15 minutes of the game yeah I didn't believe Arthur until I went over and looked at it and then it was like like I'm not much of a person to sit there and point out oh it doesn't run in 60 frames per second but this is like one of those games where you see it and you're like whoa it runs like if you can remember the way perfect dark ran without the ram expansion pack it looks like that except worse at times uh if you turn off motion blur it gets a little better this is the company that's making alien versus predator that game is the game that's gonna determine whether or not we get the good alien game well whether or not we get gearbox's game let's be let's be honest if Sega thought that gearbox's alien's game was awesome it would fucking be out already thanks they would not have cut off funding to that game if they thought that it had a lot of promise we'll see maybe now that borderlands did well who knows I I feel like borderlands did well for reasons that would not enable colonial marines to do well oh I I'm just saying that maybe uh maybe seeing borderlands do well we'll make them think ah gearbox well let me ask you this do you feel like border every aspect of borderlands is good like all the mechanics or do you feel like it clicks because of a combination like the potpourri well I don't think there's any I think there's hardly any game that every aspect of it is good what I'm what I mean is I don't think the shooting in borderlands is that great like I don't I don't feel like the combat is that great I don't feel like the loot by itself is that great I just feel like that stuff combined yeah make something that's fair but I but I mean they can do great shooting because I thought the brothers and arms that was a great shooting game you know I I they obviously do have the talent to do all these things and I don't know you know making a new IP that does successful maybe maybe the failed people will recognize the from the creators of borderlands or something you know who knows I'm curious to how do you know how borderlands is in development for no I have no idea I probably could ask him Randy Pitchford when I met him but I didn't even think of that question god how do you not just have a notepad with all the questions you could ask people on you at all times yeah I didn't even write anything I asked him down I just sat there and had fun talking to him he's a weird crazy guy that does not surprise me but a road warrior may be the worst game I played this year someone brought up darkest of days in the comments I've played darkest of days I've played darkest days and I thought darkest of days compared to road warriors like is awesome it might be a halo game by comparison what about like what and at least now I've wet is a much better game than road warriors I feel like at least darkest of days and even wet there's some ambition there and darkest of days like you could tell that they poured their heart into it this looks like something that people shit out lazily like I just can't believe that Bethesda released this game you know as as long as I've known that Bethesda is publishing this game and I know it is a game I can't even imagine in my mind a screenshot anything from it I can't even imagine what it looks like in my head I feel like it looked better when I saw it six months ago road warrior games haven't ever even done that well in the past have they like this is like the fourth warrior games or he's had other games he's never had other games he was supposed to do I'm supposed to do yeah I sold her fortune my bed originally it was a game that was put those published by somebody else it was supposed to be like a squad based tactical shooter yeah like raw or whatever but yeah my bad I was thinking but man it's just like darkest of days I there's darkest of days is bad but this is truly awful dark as a day does some cool things and has some cool ideas it's just they didn't have they didn't have the resources whereas I mean this had Bethesda like Bethesda makes a lot of money yeah this doesn't even have good ideas no it's it's terrible in every respect there is nothing good to say about road warrior there you go makes people think you're talking about road warrior which sounds like a much more awesome game starring starring Mel Gibson post-apocalyptic is there like a sugar-tits button yeah um you like that sugar-tits yes it's fun word how much of a whore is your cat to you right now now she lays on Tyler instead of me every week this is a weekly occurrence so whatever it's nice I mean I wish my cat is why I want a dog he doesn't bother me all day while I'm trying to work you know I try to offer him the warm comfort of my your genital region yes let's see jesus uh Anthony and I both played army of two this week but we can't you can really talk about it or it's the first two levels are embargo until the 15th and then I mean the game doesn't come out until next month and I don't even want to talk about it on the 15th then because I can't even remember I'll mix details in from level six with level two it all and now that it's been a couple days it does all kind of blur together that's what I'm saying yeah yeah which probably was violating embargo right now saying that but whatever um was there anything else I can't think of anything I played some Blood Bowl on DS that I imported thanks to our listeners who told me that I could buy it through HMV um I also bought it for PSP but I haven't tried that yet it is a turn-based it's basically like a turn-based sports warhammer skirmish game but based around making sure football gets in a goal and it's very like tabletop-ish in the sense that like you there are like virtual dice rolls and stuff like that and it is a grid and you move guys up grids and then you have to like take a bunch of things into account like if you move two players up to another player and you block block they'll do it together blocking is basically like attacking like you'll check a guy and you're always trying to like disable the other team to get the ball and score touchdown and then once they're down you can like attack them on the ground and potentially kill them um you got you can kill players in the nice so yeah it's you know it's like it's like a football but with elves and orcs and a bunch of really silly rules this just makes me want me to make football real bad because it's not like it's not like after each turn there's like the play goes back like it's not like uh everyone goes back to your line of scrimmage it's not like that at all it's like basically once the game starts now you're just going at it like it's like one feasible yeah and once per and once per turn you can throw it so it can be thrown once per turn and then there's a bunch of different ways for it to like end the turn like if you lose a guy i think it ends the turn if you throw it and you know it's like a typical like strategy game where it's like if a guy's really far away it's like you know you have a four and six chance they he'll catch it so you have to take into account a bunch of risks and stuff it's cool it's like a really tongue-in-cheek silly way to play like a weird ass version of football are you still getting your ass beat every time you play yeah it's really hard so far but uh i'm sure i'll get used to it more i'm still learning do the tutorial missions mostly but uh i do not regret importing that so it's too bad that that will probably never find a u.s publisher for the handheld ones pc one pc one's out and steam now and i think the 360 one comes out next month so is that like a full retail release? a full retail release yeah um i'm gonna have to buy that i don't know so that we can play it maybe it's yeah it's turn based i'm sure still too is it two players on three i would imagine it's probably two player online um i well i mean like it wouldn't be more because it's a turn based game yeah so but it's uh it is it is pretty cool i mean i like it and uh it kind of makes me wish that i had not missed the boat on the tabletop version but that was like almost a decade ago now like that game did pretty that was one of the games that games workshop actually like got rid of which is weird to me that it's like still has enough of a following they're gonna make like a digital version of it yeah yeah you know but uh maybe it didn't take much in the way i mean it's not like a huge action title so i probably didn't take that much to make no i mean it's a really basic game it's just a grid that you move guys around on and they can do a few actions but i mean does it look good for what it is like does it do what it needs to yeah i mean as it is a ds game it's fun you know you have your stats of each player on the top screen and on the bottom screen is like this isometric almost Diablo style graphics like Diablo 2 style graphics of what the guys look like when they're moving around so it gets the job done i'm sure it looks better on psp of course but that's to be expected um but using the stylus is a good way to draw the line you want the guy to run and stuff on the grid you sent the psp one off to a freelancer right no it's not being reviewed i bought that i purchased that solely for me we will not be reviewing that i just wanted to play them so um and then i played this xbox live indie game well it's not xbox live it's just an xbox indie game um and it's called solar and the whole premise of it is that you're a son and uh you're you're like a son that can move though so you're just like strolling through the universe and you'll roll up on planets and asteroids and if you run into asteroids like you destroy them with your son but if you roll up on a planet and you get close enough it'll start to uh orbit around you orbit yeah so then you'll like find more planets in the all-star orbiting and once you have planets if you get near big enough asteroids the asteroids will orbit the planets as moves and uh you can use make your planets absorb asteroids and eventually they get uh they get like more life brought to them the more asteroids they absorbed so you have to like guide them but they're always spinning on orbits you can't control but you can control the way that the whole your little solar system moves so you have to like when it's in part of its rotation you'll like guide it into a group of asteroids so that they'll all become moons and then you'll have it absorb it because eventually when the planet absorbs enough like asteroids and stuff fall on it that it gets life and stuff life it uh eventually will develop like a civilization that will start sending out little spaceships and so now your little solar system will roll around with like an armada of spaceships that'll start blasting any asteroids in your way and if you run into another solar system that has planets with those type of things they'll like have little solar battles so what are the graphics like like is it like top down or yeah it's like top down sprites okay um is it sprites it looks like it we're just like a two and a half d type thing where it's models yeah maybe they're models i can't i can't tell you're probably right um yeah and you know if you don't want to sit there and just do the planets their challenges like use the sun to destroy like 120 asteroids in a minute but a lot of times with me i just get bored and be like yeah i'm tired of having all these planets with all these ships and i just like go hauling ass to the universe and all my planets would run into other planets and explode and stuff and i definitely destroyed a few other enemy sons and when you destroy them it's like a dying star they'll like turn into a black hole and fuck all your shit up so it's like a really it's just a really cool game like i was saying earlier to you it's like flow or something where you can it has really good music you can just sit there and uh you know spend an hour just doing nothing but just kind of relaxing what i like about that game is like there's uh it's awesome that it's using like cosmology as as like the jumping off point for a game not enough games use like universe yeah i mean it's just a really low key game i think it's only like two dollars in live points did you buy it i bought it i did the demo and you do the demo and it has like five it's like five minutes you can play and after that i just bought it and it's just a nice little game to lose yourself into you should definitely wear headphones if in my opinion if you're gonna play it or have really nice speakers because the music isn't like some crazy orchestrated thing but it's it's just like perfect for what it is kind of like mellow brinino um stars you were doing stuff online with the sore losers club oh this was the event crew i play with yeah yeah we were all playing modern warfare to the other damn pc and uh and they they were all doing the thing that has now become known as the javelin hack or it's not a hack it's an exploit yeah where you uh you arm yourself with your javelin and then hold down g to bring out your grenade and then hit the button to bring up your javelin again without ever letting go g and it basically turns you into a walking predator missile and so whenever someone shoots you you blow up into the area of effect of a predator missile and so uh they would take that with the infinite sprint perk and just anytime they spawned immediately do that and then just take off so you would just see like these three guys running around the map hauling ass just waiting to get shot and there was definitely times that i would see them running towards enemies and the enemies would would like uh not fire because they would learn that every time they shot them they got blown up so then one of us would just shoot them in the back so they would blow up on the enemies he was horrible on xbox live they're they're gonna start banning people that do that well they're gonna they're gonna suspend accounts not ban accounts which the suspensions can last like a day or two weeks you know anywhere from yeah so i mean it was fun it was silly to watch and the only reason we did it was because other people were doing a test left and right we were gonna annoyed and we're like how the fuck do you do that and then of course there's a fucking youtube video that instructs you on how to do it so why wouldn't there be um i i did it once but i'm not level 50 so i can't even arm javelins i would just find them off the occasional dead person and then do it but uh yeah i mean that was fun and and then i played a little bit more legal legends this week with Ryan because that's out is your fun like is it still fun to you or do you feel your interest in that sort of waning now that like they've they're cycling characters and oh legal legends that's like a game that like could have been like the world's most amazing game but yeah i feel like their current like uh route with it is so fucked because it's like uh you can either pay like 45 dollars to unlock all the characters because even buying the box copy from the store doesn't unlock all the characters only unlocks 20 which is asinine first and uh and so otherwise if you want to unlock characters you can play games and use in-game experience to buy characters but the amount of games you would have to play is like we're talking like battlefield heroes type shit where it's like you gotta play a ton of games to work point where it's like it's just almost not worth it which they also fucked up this week and then is uh you and then other than that you play uh each week they cycle out like 10 characters that you can pick from so like next week i might not even be able to play the same characters i'm playing this week you know right granted it's a free game but i do feel like a lot of the reasons i like to have been hampered a lot so like i'm thinking about maybe i'll pay 45 dollars to buy it but uh i don't know i kind of almost want to give that game like six months and wait and see how people are still playing it or not see if they change the way they manage the characters or just make sure that people are still gonna stick with it yeah because uh that game needs a lot of people playing online to make it worthwhile not that playing with ryan isn't fun because it is because ryan's found like this character that he's like really good at he just runs around terrorizing people so does he ever go rage not like the uh like roaring the twins no ryan's good about that um not in the office but uh yeah other than that i've uh i've still playing Silent Hill for we for review but you can't really talk too much about just yet is that it's still not out now it comes out on tuesday the same day as the saboteur for america so and it's embargoed to what monday or tuesday till the day comes out yeah um i will give you a that that i mean it's partly because it launched in euro exactly that's exactly why because they didn't want the european online press to get a weak advantage in the review over the american press but uh other than that i got an intended dsi last week so i've been checking out this week some oh i guess i was this week so i've been checking out a couple of the dsi work games they're cool it's been kind of a long week yeah um you know i picked up the pop cap one but i regret but i haven't checked it yet it's surprisingly easy i was telling arthur to buy we buy dsi points we like uh for the dsi store like it's not at all as difficult as the we won you don't even have to like enter in your name or your ship or your business like your mailing address that isn't required you just basically need a credit card number in your county but nice yeah i don't know it feels a little weird buying spending earth dollars with your ds like that just seems that's such a weird feeling yeah i saw they released like a little flip book or like a little animation game oh yeah i think that comes on them yeah it's like you draw a series of little animations then they'll automatically do like a flip book style animations i've seen some really cool ones that's cool i mean like i i was someone who spent way too much time with mario paint on the sness animating jiffs yeah yep doing history reports in mario paint really yeah that is awesome yeah did a report on jfk and then yeah nothing else no it has been a a week the saboteur took a lot of money so that was pretty much it for me maybe i didn't play some borderlands this weekend though since i finally got my own copy yeah saniton just pulled one out of his magic box all right we're going to take a quick break and then we're going to come back and talk to you and give me your stuff with your suggestions so so and back yeah game of the year 2009 quite the 2012s here we're all going to die did very good next year's today so we're got a couple years folks we're at christmas part two coming up yeah but uh as far as i know most of the big releases i mean silent hill doesn't come out but i mean that's not going to be anybody's game of the year i wouldn't be i mean maybe if uh if we had i think if we had liked saboteur more if we had liked saboteur more um we would uh maybe wait for that to come out but i don't i don't see anyone realistically picking that game is their game of the year except for like maybe the people that thought prototype was good i i can't say anything about that without sounding like i'm talking shit about another media personality so you can't just say prototype isn't good that you get that is that is a statement you're incapable of making no because every time i i think about that i think about this media personality and i just want to do do do do do do do uh okay so when we posted i i requested that people pick three make three choices for their game of the year and ideally to not necessarily try to make the most obvious choices all the time because i know that like uncharted two is obviously going to be a big one i mean i wouldn't even necessarily want to pick a overall game of the year like platform specific stuff is usually the way that i think about it yeah i was thinking more like uh very specific like story of the year um or direction of the year yeah i mean a lot of people just throughout games that they thought right yeah you can say whatever you want i think people just throughout games they thought we're outstanding yes uh and there were a lot of fucking responses uh so many that i honestly i just didn't have time to go through all of them i went through the first hundred and forty fuck uh thanks because i mean like there were 37 responses which within the first 90 seconds of posting so there were a lot and there's still a lot so many that we could do another episode although i don't think we're gonna have another chance uh so first up we have bill bill mudron uh mudron mudron is it mudron mudron mudron who drew the uh gfw posters and pecs yes and the uh the e gm you drew a lot of stuff for you yeah the e gm poster that everyone i think is familiar with after the one up thing went down i think is is his twitter icon that my neighbor to toro to toro i think so to toro um he's just mudron on twitter i think right yeah uh bill says his three choices were flower uh which okay it was an obvious trace back in february maybe not so much now uh retro game challenge and red faction gorilla oh he did he did think out outside of the box uh i don't think he did actually because before he even mentioned that he posted his top five games of the year and red faction and retro game challenge are both on there and so it's a flower on just saying that that uh as compared to what other people would say like i would not say that's outside of him challenge uh it's a few people actually mentioned retro game challenge um and a lot of people said red faction gorilla which obviously we appreciate um because and that was that's definitely on my list for one of the best games of the year uh carl rosner who is a frequent commenter said uh batman arcan asylum uncharted to and kill zone two um those are all totally valid choices maybe except for i don't know that i feel like kill zone two is should necessarily be in the running for game of the year uh if we were going platform specific playstation three game of the year maybe yeah i know it would be in the running at least i mean it would be mentioned but it certainly wouldn't be there's only like five or six games that i would say for playstation game of the year and that would be one of them maybe i don't know i just i feel like i'm not even saying maybe just because we we'd made this list at work and okay well it was like there was like five that we were and it was like kill zone and infamous uh uncharted uh demon souls and i forgot the other one i was talking about so uh orangility says assassin screed two which is personal is his personal game of the year uh another vote for batman arcan asylum and infamous slash red faction gorilla which did come out at basically the same time the guy's a cheater he snuck in the forest i mean whatever that's nope gone to his house at night so we just qualify mace to the face he gets no vote you put a slash in there it's like you would vote for like uh i want bush slash abama sir bush isn't running this time bush abama that's my ticket uh okay well sorry orang shame on you she's sneaking extra uh the the the tyler and anthony spoken your vote doesn't count not that it's like a vote anyways i mean no there is so far so far it's so far it's a batman arcan asylum a hundred everything else won yeah uh revassalot who is also toll cover on twitter i believe slash mark uh so it's batman arcan asylum the beetles rock band and uncharted two those are all respectable totally respectable nominations i would really like to spend some time with beetles rock band sometimes i know the new album comes out in like a month or something right rubber so i was in the new dlc rubber solo yeah i was like new beetles album right now yeah i hope rubber soulford i heard they got conny on a track uh cat cat bailey right frequent freelancer i've been on a podcast for always cat bailey she uh she she gave me sass on twitter telling me that she had posted her thing uh she says demon souls new smart brother's way and red faction gorilla because i say so and i uh i that's you know welcome your opinions cat i uh i haven't tried it myself yet it looks good but man it looks so punitive like crazy punity uh ray barnhold i guess put it best when he called it stock home syndrome on a disc oh man everyone i know likes it but they get beat on like like like i'm with gerald and he's like there i just one shot at me and i just lost three hours i i don't know people say it's good so often as i say rewarding like i guess if you were buried under 16 feet of rock and you caught your one you would think that that was rewarding god damn no i mean i haven't played demon souls i just here i've heard both sides of the debate and generally yeah the the sides that are sort of like this game is fucking stupid or this way too hard and i don't want to read instruction booklets uh well there is new smart brother's week way why why why why super are brothers we has that autoplay thing and it doesn't it if you put it by yourself yeah then you you die like six times or something in a level um so i mean those are all i i don't know the demon souls will be at the top of any lists but then again i don't think red faction girl i think demon souls will make will make some people's lists for like either an honorable mention or some weird um maybe wheels says uh wheels is much more conventional uh which is fine he said halo 3 odst because i had a great campaign and use of co-op which is true um although the storytelling in it was really good i'm getting increasingly frustrated with halo 3 odst because the netcode for firefight is fucking atrocious and that to me is like the main reason to buy odst which i mean no one knew before it came out because every event that they did was all over system link yeah uh uncharted to probably the best performance of socina game i'm sorry how are you going to say something about me i was just gonna i was gonna be surprised that both popular zombie games that came out this year haven't been mentioned so far this year like five comments and okay okay 200 something but but just being that like this year seems to be like the year of the zombie you know the zombie really what which i think might actually make people less likely what is the other zombie game resident evil five okay yeah fuck i forgot that was this year yeah beginning of the year uh it's man there's been a lot of games this year yeah uh modern a lot of games every year i just feel like it's been spread it's much more spread out this year than it's ever been that could be true but i yeah i mean i wouldn't have it anymore modern warfare too although the campaign left much to be desired the multiplayer slash spec ops stuff was enough to keep me occupied well i'm sure you're still occupied yeah uh there are a lot of people that would agree with you i would not at modern warfare too i'm surprised at modern warfare too is not actually anywhere in my list of top games like if i had to do a top three it's not at all in there it's true sure it'll be in the games by one and i'll be talking about why it shouldn't um what mitch dire uh frequent frequent friend of the podcast mitch dire says uh before assassin screen two my top three games in 2009 were in no particular order skate two red faction gorilla and plants versus zombies skate two came out this year that's that's a word skate two was super early this year skate two is not made in canada we have to strike that vote down yeah it is that's there we go uh jitter mitch dire cheatin you fucking nationalist yeah we're not if it's not a nationalism for america no sir yeah uh skate two is most filling sports game i've ever played full stop learning curve is pretty much perfect and as you evolve as a skilled player you'll find plenty of reason to go back to older areas and run beautiful lines i have actually heard that skate two's tutorial is skate one i've met mitch dire i'm going to guess and this is the only sport game that kids played ouch i'm just fucking with you dude i i actually i just had this conversation the other day when earlier today when me and arthur both tried to throw football and we threw it like idiots it was like yeah we didn't ever play sports um ever uh i think poly is like super addicted to some sport i bet he filates because canadian he's all the boot hockey it's it's okay to be racist he he filates red faction a little bit but i mean i'm sure there will be more red faction filating that a lot of people said red faction actually but we have also sucked a lot of dick for yeah i mean i feel like we're almost but we have a very clear bias yeah that was awesome uh and he says plants for zombie is the best tower to vents game since pixel junk monsters plants versus zombies is a surprise game of this year because when i saw like the early trailer that was just a song you didn't even know what it was like that game is amazing yes and accessible like to everybody it is a great way to get someone else addicted to games that isn't that into it and then get them and then use that as a gateway drug yes uh Courtney says Courtney says her favorite games of the over monster.com the economy in craigslist.com why do you even include that one how could i not include that one i think is a better question those aren't games they feel like a grind i'll fucking tell you that much uh doe or doe or day day is maybe day is korean uh day says arkham asylum assesses creed two and don of war two don of war two definitely deserves more on war two is my pc game of the year for sure hundred percent yeah yeah like what else would i mean plants versus zombies a great pc game as well but but man don of war two i lost 20 hours my life to that game so and i'm not even sorry i'm sorry i'm not sure since this whole empire was lost here okay but even still don of war two is a vastly superior game to sense i mean they're completely different but i man don of war two is great i can't wait for the expansion he also gives an honorable mention to chronicles of riddick dark athena which i still not played regrettably you can find super cheap now uh jet set liming says torchlight plants versus zombies and atelier atelier any alchemist asara island which i've never heard of um torchlight though that's a torchlight is good as well i man just came out torchlight is definitely a game that i could get behind i don't think that it is it's not my game of the year but i could see us and would become completely obsessed with it uh then after that post he posted uh i'm fully aware this post makes me look like some faggy casual gamer and thus the enemy and he puts those torchlight man not torchlight torch in my casual game i give no fuck about it i fully embrace casual games especially the ones made by companies who don't associate casual with hey we don't give a shit or put in any effort torchlight is not a casual game no uh jet set liming i appreciate that you feel like people would put upon you uh don't use faggy in our comments again um but yeah i don't know i i think the torchlight is not a casual game at all and if you like torchlight you should look for a mythos when it comes out since it's going to supposedly come out for real that when i played the early build of it it was fun the torchlight mmo or well mythos is mythos oh mythos okay basically the multiplayer yeah sorry i suppose that i was looking at the list and it was a lot of fun uh i mean do how do you feel about that like that mythos is being re-released by that korean company whatever it's a good game it's it's nice that it comes out i mean all those people worked on that it's better than it just sitting in a box and being dead tower did you see what was unveiled today uh hell gate london hell gate tokyou right yeah japan sorry yeah tokyou did yeah that that is one on the other hand that i'm like the first one wasn't good why are you going for antu i honestly the first one was just not finished um david by design says henry hatsworth pardon huh oh how are you going to interrupt me when i'm reading a comment i said like champions online that's what i'd said oh yeah that's why that's why i was like whoa oh oh game we're rolling speaking of games that aren't finished when oh oh my god uh again david by design says henry hatsworth pat upon to an assess screen that's right i forgot about that that was the everyone did fucking no one would shut about shut up about that fucking game when it comes out it's easy to forget about those really early no one was shut up about that game when it comes up i forgot that skate too was this year i forget that to speak i should i'm already seeing skate three this year frick sake so uh andrew demerse says shadow complex regardless of worse it's got cards involvement this is a fantastic game that's totally okay that you have that to say yeah i mean i universally called fantastic game so that's um yeah i'm pretty sure it's in the contention for game of the year at uh i know that tom price actually thinks the shadow complex is his game of the year if i remember correctly uh andrew demerse's again shadow complex dead space extraction and league of legends oh you're one of you're one of eight thousand of us huh god damn it you guys should go out and find dead space before it's like no longer even on shelves like you should because it's going to be one of those games the people we're going to talk about and it's going to be fucking amazingly hard to find except on ebay i first i first i thought you're gonna say you guys should go out and start a dead space extraction support group and then you know in a hundred years you could be like the flat hour society and then everyone that didn't buy should kill themselves uh louis g commented and his first sentence says just to explain my choices i know people would normally choose big budget games for their game of the year choices but the least expensive games seem to give out a bigger impact this year he then goes goes on to cite modern warfare too and assassins creed too uh but there's how much of a budget his game of the year choice uh as for my game of the year choice i had a lot of fun playing graphically enhanced games but nothing gave me the pure joy i had with peggle it originally came out in 2007 but it's popularity gear in 2009 with its console and mobile releases i simply cannot stop playing peggle wherever i turn when i have free time in my 360 happens to be on i could just start at peggle and have a blast peggle nights came out this year wasn't that um he goes on to have his own personal peggle party good for you louis i was delighted peggle is a great game pop cap man yeah that's i mean i bought the the we were the dsiware game that pop cap made specifically because it's made by pop pop cap has become one of those companies it is for me like ubi soft was ten years ago or ubi soft was a company that if they made it i would buy it just based off of like faith in what they would make uh a curious crow says demon souls which he says is intelligent precise and rewarding i'd just like to say from what i've seen of the game and what i've heard of the game precise is not a fucking adjective i would use for that game rewarding i could see rewarding yes and punitive beside my side very punitive he goes on to say oh and they are not rumors this game is hard with a capital h he did not say with a capital h but hard has a capital h a street fighter for best fighter in years i okay um i liked street fighter for uncharted to among thieves witty a true show piece of the game's medium and just plain fun except for that goddamn final boss fight i didn't actually think the final boss fight was the worst moment in that game that was definitely the train boss for me yeah i mean i didn't like the final boss fight either no i for me the final boss fight just goes on too long like there are too many times where you have to do what you're supposed to do to beat that boss yeah uh shane wheelings don't know mention of left for dead uh no but i think there will be at some point shane shane wheeling actually i included this one for tyler because i really wanted to know what he had to say shane wheeling says his number one choice was battlefield 1943 that one's in mind it's definitely in in the list running for downloadable games for us i'm concerned that one is that one is one of my three that one plants versus zombie and he actually put it ahead of halo 3 od st and then that's followed up by splosion man i have a lot of love for splosion yeah i mean i i agree with him and even um as much as i'm having fun with modern warfare to exploring all the different weapons that's what i'm getting the most out of modern warfare i think so far i played battle field 1943 more than i played yeah i mean what i mean when i think about it like just the most fun like pure i still laugh in the 43 every once in a while i'd be curious to know what the the player population is like right now now that modern warfare two has come out i'm sure dropped some i i went and played the other night but i still have never had trouble finding a game yeah i had no um but yeah i definitely agree with that i'm curious to see how it'll drop when bad company two comes out right then i'm sure it will probably evaporate yeah i mean people are getting really hype on bad company to the ps3 beta right now a lot of people are getting i know even your friends yeah yeah they they they keep bugging me to download it but i'm like no i'm gonna play when it comes out uh johnny blazed gw s says i haven't had much in the way of cash this year so my pool of games is admittedly small that's okay but there are still games that these are still games that i would say are high quality entertainment for me anyway and not just for you because you say shadow complex uh the most fun i've had with a new ip platformer since i don't know when i'll be playing this one for years that's totally fair metroid and symphony the night both keep me coming back and shadow complex is those two games mhm you should buy banda since you don't have a lot of money yes buy banjo kazooie uh punch out which brought him back to his childhood as well the mechanics were spot on fun and i am still challenged by the second go around tyler i think you're the only one out of all of us that played to punch out you guys didn't play punch out i just never got around to it i have it here at the house too wow i got around to it i uh but we definitely didn't play to the extent you did i mean it was like you know i had to do a guide so it you know it was fun that the second go around was just extremely frustrating and like made me wish i didn't take on the assignment actually dude everyone that's like every guide every guide assignment at one point has that moment where you're like this was not fucking worth it did i tell do i tell you that originally i was supposed to do the guide for dragon age uh uh yeah see like i don't care how much they paid you and it wouldn't have been worth it it would it would have been the same nor it would have been the normal fee yeah it wouldn't have been i would have whoo i would have killed myself what about you are 30 would you what what are some of yours um well i haven't finished with johnny blaze so let's release that one i don't want to uh and number three for him is torchlight because he was a big fan of Diablo 2 and this game took that formula and made it less of a pain in the ass plus his dog shoots lightning out of its mouth how can you beat that the answer is you can't and i want to see someone that picks both torchlight and demon souls um in one together because it's like a punitive ass hard game and a game that gets rid of a lot of punitive things and makes things easier i think my number one game is easy like at this point because i thought about it so much which is assassin screed too but after that everything gets sort of hard well you can't chew you mean you can't choose two other chisel i mean i can well no because i it's like a tie for see me i would chisel all these people in our comments come on we gotta give we gotta choose a lot three we gotta say three i could chisel up three um chisel or chisel it's uh so not surprisingly uncharted to the game i reviewed the highest and then uh probably donald war two and then just to make sure i pick another game with the two in it um not try which isn't hard to do this year yeah but uncharted to donald war two and then probably uh it doesn't feel like any sequels this year have really rested on their laurels though and then probably dead space extraction or new supermarket brothers we either uh assassin screed to uncharted too and then depending on the day it would be red faction or halo dst and i think more days than not it would be red faction i would say just yeah i read the way you talk about so many things different and that game was like so crazy like um and i mean i'm sure that i will be unemployed by monday for saying a ps2 a ps3 and two multi platform games is my top three games in the year multi platforms perfectly okay um but yeah i just man uh and i i did not expect assassin screed to to be that game right now i don't think i don't think most people have played the first one did like i expected it to be improved somewhat but i was actually not it was not really i know i'll just tell you guys talk about it i'm still i will try it you're just totally burned out on hearing anything about that i will try it come march it really is just like i said like in every way it is a modern day Zelda game in every way i cannot get involved in a 20-hour game though until i until i beat it's not just a modern day it's a modern day link to the past uh like not a little more apt i didn't like i had no desire to finish ocarina time and that's probably not ocarina time do you mean toilet princess no ocarina time oh even ocarina time like a ocarina time i've got pretty far through and then just stopped because i got i got bored it just got tedious and then majora's mask i had no interest in and i might princess wow i mean i'm not saying that i didn't i've never been to those you just named either and i'm just okay um and twilight princess i played for about three games oh okay that could be it i much prefer the taste cock that's a video part of your heart died a long time before the part that would worship shigeru Miyamoto um not that there would be anything wrong with it preferring the taste of cock i understand that there are many people who do the taste anyways let's move on tyler what do you at what do you got for your three how you blame boogie plants versus zombies yeah plans for a zombie is definitely one battleful 1943 is definitely one and for the third one it's like if i'm going for the value proposition it's definitely captain forever but if i'm just going for i don't know for massive hill it had to be assassin's creed too but i but but but i almost want to pick captain forever just because my other two choices are both not full price games you know just kind of keep the list if i had to pick a couple of dark course games for me that are like important games to me this year that aren't going to win any awards probably be things like smaller games too like trials mmm there's actually a lot of people said trials because i love trials um i love it a lot but uh you know and then there's just there's any series of really cool games that i just wish that i i had more time to put into trials being one of them uh majesty two for pc being another one of them that was really awesome but i didn't get to play as much as i wanted um and i don't know i mean there's there's lots uh i mean there i've got a lot more comments to read if we've got time i feel like we do i mean shit even mobile games there's tons of mobile games that were particularly important to me we did have a number of people mentioned drop seven drop seven was excellent i mean what's that airport airport game it's called flight control flight control that's such a good mention drop seven in flight control uh vh5 says borderlands uh so much fun co-op or solo i totally buy that and also it's got a just a lot to do uh dragon age that game has crazy replay value and i see myself returning to it multiple times i really want to carve out some time to fucking play that game some more because i haven't yeah i could see borderlands being in the running for like a best co-op co-op yeah for sure but then it would be up against things like left for dead resident evil five there's a five oh yes t yes that would be a tough that'd be a tough one but and some people some people i'm sure it would say uncharted two as well for co-op yeah the co-op missions are fun um and finally vh5 says sacred two again i love loot interesting loot plus local co-op equals awesome game yeah i just didn't think sacred man sacred two it's i was i would really hope him for a new yeah i didn't know i know she playing that for one night and never again yeah i just didn't have the same appeal to me but maybe it's because i wasn't playing i wasn't playing with anyone i think that's a big part of it i always played through dark alliance games local with someone sitting next to me eating pizza drinking mountain due till we threw up uh yes yeah pizza rolls you're talking about do you guys you don't remember those chips pizza rias oh they're like pizza flavored chips you might as that's like one second that's like one step up from combos combos there we have it's custom combos are delicious oh god uh pat bear says red faction gorilla torchlight and gta for the lost and damned man can dlc be game of the year if so lost and damn wins much more than just refinement gta 4 it's all he wanted from grand theft auto so yeah if he demands that a retail game be game of the year then lost and damn would be it yeah and also if you ever say that gay tony is not as good as lost and damned in front of tom price he will stab you i know a lot of people if you'll gay tony's superior gay tony is superior to lost in the damn i mean i love lost and damn but like gay tony is really the apex of their mission differently i thought you felt the opposite no oh no no i feel gay tony is the better it sounds like i've made tom price hate you let me be right in a donna who likes lost and damn better it could be uh i mean to me it's like lost and damned is like an a gay tony is a plus you know gay tony is fucking amazing loved it fair enough uh drawn says number one was braid i realize this is out on xbox last year but i have an xbox pc so it's game of the year for me on pc exactly it came out on both of this this year i don't i don't think it'll get a lot of consideration because it was out for so long i'm 360 but yeah that is valid i don't much care for the self-indulgent artsy fartsy story but the beautiful music and awesome puzzles had me thinking spatially chronologically and multi-dimensionally it was awesome and amazingly rewarding it's also a good game for when you're high as soldier boy don't tell him demonstrate it yes uh that's not what i actually remember two borderwands it's like mario in business sorry borderwands fuck lefforded too this is the ultimate co-op game period i do not know that i agree with you sir but i could see how you would think that and he says world of warcraft is number three he says fuck lefforded too yes and the borderwands is the ultimate co-op game period i mean it's two it's those games are like the polar ends of the co-op spectrum it's like lefforded too is all about twitch skill and fast gameplay whereas borderlands is just that like did you like diablo like do you like loot games with your friends it's just that borderwands a lot more of a commitment to one character and building that character up mm-hmm lefforded is a better relationship with your friends yeah yeah like for me like i would have come like i would have conversations uh that have nothing to do with the game while i was playing border oh yeah you would never do that during like yeah lefforded it's like the studs here the studs there boom you know uh a lot of people actually mentioned skate too that is i wouldn't even people love skate too but i just totally forgot that that was this here um and people that love skate too loved skate too yeah no uh i mean we have there's a rebel fen board and skate too on the marketplace uh no it says number one lefforded too number two assassins creed two and number three so factor sci kick warfare i think is what that's called what is that it's a damn shame that you went and took lefforded too and assassin creed two and destroyed your opinion with self-factor what is self-factor uh i kid self-factor was a essentially a tech demo for physics on pc that came out on xbox live arcade earlier this year self-factor i'll have to check that out i've never even heard of that uh he says much in modern warfare two sucked away on healthy amounts of my time it really seemed like more of the same with call of duty four which had also eaten up nearly a literal month of my life i do i agree that modern warfare too is call of duty four except call of duty four year yeah um i missed the boat on the original effort dead and only got in a few matches for everyone i knew went back to call of duty so it really seems like a new experience and an awesome zombie killing experience uh my problem with lefforded too right now on the 360 is that it's still plagued by lag and i wish that they would fix it i keep saying they're going to that again they said that they did but i from what i've heard it's still again that's another thing that we didn't really experience in the review things because we were playing before everyone was on and and it's not micro sauce fault because it's on fucking steam servers um let's see matt westcott says some of the best co-op play for me this year has been in border winds and resible the dark side chronicles oh man dark side chronicles like i play a little bit of that but if you like that you're gonna love dead space extraction my most hated co-op game has been news from mario brothers we his hated his most hated co-op games man why do you understand he continues i mean i can't fucking stand my friends throwing me to my death over and over again without giving me a single chance for even one level i'm 14 i guess i haven't discovered the magic a button at that point but that was one of the few times i raised good at a co-op game in my life uh yeah you gotta play with people that are actually going to play cooperatively in mario or else it does become uh clusterfuck but i mean original dark side chronicles still has like the awful story of of old resident evil games and horrible voice actors did you guys finish your the review for umbrella chronicles or whatever was that dark side chronicles yeah the light gun okay and then umbrella chronicles was the last year was the last one yeah uh die smiley one eight seven that's a just a painfully clever user name their friend uh ratchet and clank a crack in time fall at three and assassin's creed too i'm not sure why fall at three is your game of the one of your games of the year this year well maybe he just got the uh the game of the year edition and they did release a game's worth of content and dlc this year yeah i waited to buy until the game of the year edition we will go without ridiculing you for that fall three would have been one of my games of the year this year of games i played not games that came out um that would be like sub four for me i like world of goo uh done says leffordid two deserves mentioned for actually grabbing my attention and holding it out of the first game didn't get me hooked i love the variety of loss infected when playing as emon versus i'd love to talk to people like him and find out why that is like leffordid too doesn't do all of that i mean there's stuff different that makes it a really awesome game but i just don't see the appeal of why it would grab you when the first one didn't hmm albedo 12 has some interesting choices with the exception of his first one uh in no particular order batman arkam asylum which is an obvious pick for many reasons i have the pc version which gets extra points for use of physics or pretty effects not found in the other versions and being one of the more robust pc builds the console game i've played in a long time that actually as far as i know that actually is the best console port to a pc this year yeah i have heard i also heard resident evil was really really really good well it wasn't buggy or anything like that that would be the first time that capcom is yeah not fucked it up that well when cap when capcom does it themselves apparently it's good when it's a capcom made game not a third party game and then there's Street Fighter 4 as well which is apparently pretty good i really see but yeah resident evil is supposed to be really good he also says shin magama tensei devil survivor which is the ds uh shin magama game one of two games i bought while visiting the USA this year knowing they would almost certainly not be released here in the uk i particularly like the way this game is pared down to the essentials no items inventory just demons and spells just four stats it also is a fun storyline with multiple endings and a new game mode that saves you from having to grind like a lunatic after the first playthrough unfortunately you do have to grind like a fucking lunatic during the first playthrough but i could see how that game would grab you and then he says fear too i actually did a guide for that game and i thought it was okay i mean i i as far as shooters goes it was fun but it the ending was the dumbest fucking thing i've ever seen oh yeah yeah it was i mean this it was a really fun shooter but as far as like tower have you have you beaten fear too are you ever gonna spoil it we're gonna spoil the ending to fear too right now because it's fucking december bitches the world has sex you are raped by fucking ALMA yeah at the end of fear too like no bullshit she mounts you and rapes you in her mind and at the end of fear too to get pregnant to get herself pregnant the girl that like you see hallucinations though yeah yes oh man how like how exactly how do you rape man if with your mind you wish you had that power oh uh yeah i i'd be raping you right now i i'm sure for some people that are without having a real boner for some people i'm sure that that will eliminate fear too as their game of the year for others that may have just sent it to the top of the list i was gonna tell a really embarrassing story about my friend so we're gonna move on but how are you gonna say that then not how are you gonna tease that shit well it's just that when you're talking about you said mind boner you know what i mean and uh i had this friend that we used to call ghost dog because he was really hardcore catholic and believed that it was totally wrong to masturbate with your hand so he swore up and down to us the no joke that he could think hard enough hardcore sexual thoughts when we're all like 14 or 15 that he could bring himself to orgasm and that's why they call him ghost dog that wasn't you said mind boner and it just took me back to that and ghost dog and eventually i'm pretty sure he learned to abuse himself so he got in line with the rest of the abuse himself as in just masturbate like a regular person oh you know use your hand for what it was made for otherwise he looked like a sea slug when you pull him out of the water fire oh another person actually said fear too oh a lot of people said infamous and i think that's i feel i don't think infamous is one of the i mean infamous could be in the running for ps3 game in the air definitely even then i wouldn't win for me yeah no it would be it is worth mentioning i don't think it would be even the top three uh for source ps3 specific games go uncharted ratchet and clank and for me it'd probably be uncharted infamous and then it's i haven't played enough ratchet to make it do you think god of war counts as a new release um i don't know that is a good question uh nah okay Tyler disqualified it so it doesn't well just because it's it's a rerelease it's it's slightly pretty up yeah i'm playing a ratchet to make an informed decision but as i stand right now it would probably be uh uncharted too infamous and then right behind that would probably be killed i don't know how magnanimous everyone in the fucking comments were this week uh Jason says i got to go with resident evil five which is just like resident evil four but with co-op it makes no sense to me how so many people liked are you for but hated this one i will only posit that it's because you cannot shoot and move resident evil resident evil five was one of those games that i went in expecting to hate and ended up really enjoying yeah i thought i totally thought i was gonna hate that game based off the demo uh the thing is like it succeeds despite itself in a lot of waste because there's still just some stupid remnants of resident evil's past in that game but it's super fun still it is really fun uh he also says borderlands and batman arkham asylum and he closes with i don't have a ps3 but i'm pretty sure if i did then uncharted too would be my game of the year it's funny you know i know a lot of people who don't even own ps3's who want to buy uh the game just based off the commercials they want to buy a ps3 and uncharted dude and and you know what's funny it's like i was just about to say like two games this year uncharted too and batman arkham asylum i just i don't really enjoy those games and you didn't uncharted too i liked i loved the multiplayer but you didn't like the single player i tired doesn't like right no idea this is like you're coming out to me i realized that like i hated the platforming and uncharted so much i stopped playing because there was too much of it okay i could see that i liked it i thought that the combat was the combat is good i know i see i felt the opposite i see you guys are sitting on opposite sides where you didn't really like but i liked both of those things enough along with the story that i just loved it for me the story and the the characters is what pulled me through definitely yeah all definitely we were so good that it would it cost me to want to give it a good score but even like even batman like maybe i shouldn't put enough time into it but i i lost interest i just wasn't interested like i would batman is a game that i've been meaning to finish the only reason i haven't just work yeah but that's that was an excellent game i don't know how far did you get in it not very yeah i mean and also you start when you went to packs right and then just didn't pick up and go back but it doesn't grab you though but yeah that's what i'm saying like the measure is is the game like calling me the way captain forever would i would be laying in bed at night thinking all night like about building ships or by the way i don't think that batman is that kind of game i don't think that it tickles that nerve okay or even like balloting gay tony the way very few very few games do that to me make me sit there and think i wanted to play them i think the reason that batman doesn't come on my list is because i think that uh during e3 after i saw the shit for assassin's creed two and it peaked my interest a little bit i said it looks like the world's coolest looking batman game and once i played assassin's creed two again it feels like the world's coolest batman game in a lot of situations if batman shanked bitches left and right and occasionally accidentally stabbed civilians instead batman just permanently disables people um so i mean i i guess it's just that um but batman i thought batman was an excellent game yeah i i liked it i mean it was just i i know a lot of people were really gushing over it but i just thought it was weird that you know uh it it really it it didn't it didn't pull me in like i didn't i don't feel compelled to go back and play or um anything and the same with uncharted two like i could trade my copy in motley says uh your shit fucking math kind of strains that out of a hundred posts only six people are electing modern warfare two dragon age gets an honorable mention from him it's a meaty game but really a lot of downtime that makes it longer than it should have been yeah i i think that a reason that a lot of people aren't saying modern warfare two in our comments is because that's such an expected one well yeah exactly and we said that you should try not to just say the same things over and over again although honestly like reading this it does seem like there are games that we could make like a list of time and go through them and sort of pick oh yeah batmans batman and this assassin's creed for sure plants versus zombies surprisingly enough yeah um and i mean modern warfare two is good but i i mean and not just because it's a popular choice but i just honestly don't think it's uh like top three game in the year no it's it's not it's not it's great it's saying that maybe if multiplayer was more important to me but single player is a huge thing for me and it's just the single player in that game was disappointing let's do a few more and then we'll we will wrap it up um i don't even know that we necessarily need oh this guy's fucking crazy so i guess we have to read his yeah please um morris d says uh first of all he selects four so imagine boy he's already crazy so uh yes i know i selected four but the last two are practically in a dead heat for me i i am going to have to really contain my spite for you morris d uh number one is dragon age origins spite falling victim to the dlc achievement bug on the 360 i'm already on my second playthrough i don't know what that is um maybe i'll know once i get past seven hours in that game what the achievement the there's an achievement bug i guess a dlc achievement bug uh and he's still on his first playthrough on the pc this game exploited my level of rpgs to grab me grab me firmly and not let go and i've enjoyed every moment of it number two is halo three ods t i've generally enjoyed the previous halo games but i really enjoyed playing this one as it gave me the opportunity to stop and pop at regular intervals not having any fucking flood also helped i can see that number three mad world i'll say it again number three mad world well some people like style over some some people like bad games um black and white and red all over before i packed my way away from moving this is what i was playing and loving the bits of course as always once the we is out of sight it's also out of mind and his other number three is forza motor sport three um which i i get you can't figure out if if mad world it's a toss-up between mad world and forza yeah that's fuck is wrong with you not well maybe maybe in a way it's like mad world is sort of i just don't understand i mean in a way in a way what i want to hear you throw out some logic the way that uh the way that a lot of people might have looked at mirror's edge last year as being like innovative not only in gameplay but like in the visual style i could see you know some eyes was like really loved the aesthetics and just kind of except mirrors edge the visual style was all about knowing where to go and mad world the visual style completely obscures well i'm not yeah i'm not speaking on either the visual styles goals or whatever i'm just saying it's just completely aesthetic i mean yeah whatever dude your girl allowed to like what you like i'm not saying whatever dude to you taylor it's this morris d guy i i thought mad world was awful yeah what yeah and i really wanted to like mad world um david ellis also really like mad world so uh and we'll close with uh escalts i guess is his name uh don of war two which he got for online play not really caring about the campaign until well i'm surprised you liked it that much until i started to play through a co-op with a friend uh left for dead two love the first one and the seagull just makes everything so much better and killing for because it's more awesome as long as i'm killing killing floor is a good game and yeah he's not the only person to mention killing for there are a couple of other people kind of four is a cool game and they give away levels for free when they expanded it red swirl complaints it's ill despair tracks isn't even out yet and that could be handheld game of the year i don't like doing these things until the year is officially over and done with i do not give a rusty effort about zelda spirit tracks after well it's just that it could be handheld game of the year but this is kind of just overall and i i mean do you really think that spirit tracks can be better than three other games you can think of after phantom after phantom hourglass i'd like zelda on ds has lost me until they do something else yeah i think spirit tracks goes unembargoed the day this podcast will go up so you'll hear read reviews soon uh this is actually gonna go up tonight i think well it'll goes up first and then the reviews go up on the fourth i believe so so yeah that's i actually went through and picked from everything we got up until 6 30 there are more comments after that but well i think so all three of your submissions who didn't agree with us you're wrong yeah well and we'll talk to you more about game of the year stuff and i think when are like when we think about it we might do it in in january honestly like yeah for me it's more of a platform specific thing though like i don't know that's the way i would think working to be unless we're gonna get super specific and be like great i mean maybe we'll do some polls for platform specific games we're and see what you guys think we'll do the kids choice which the rebel fm reading listening choice awards uh we're gonna take a break come back to letters. so you'll remember the change. jick bags can be untimey hit me a part of the relationship. what i'm saying is you know all i'll join the camp of the entire relationship like just take a sip. you don't want to really ship letters anymore family. we can say no you can have an opinion even if we don't listen to it. if you don't want us to do relationship letters to how your opinion would actually come for something. no i think we should. oh wow maybe we should stop and start this over. i think we should but well i'm not saying that other listeners who talk to us in a an intelligent manner don't have opinions the matter but guys like that rick dude that just like are just assholes about it. they don't matter to me when they come off like that. like a guy that emailed me about like how we always bring politics in the show and disagreed with us and stuff but he emailed me in a very polite manner and talked me. i actually emailed him back and that was nice but you know people that just come on and they turn into a rage not like your opinion doesn't fucking matter to me at that point you've evaluated yourself. i think he may have been a little upset because i wide it out his text. yeah yeah yeah anyways so our first letter uh which is titled relationship letter dot dot dot yay is from it's from zach and he says uh for a while i laughed at the relationship letters you've read on the show thinking all those people should show some backbone yet through a cruel turn of fate i've had to walk in their shoes and it sucks. i'm a sophomore in high school and until recently i've had very little interest in having a girlfriend but just a couple weeks ago a new student joined my spanish class and i've not been able to stop thinking about her since. the problem is is that she is the kind of quiet and nerdy type perfect uh when i try to talk to her all she does is respond to the quiet yeah or thanks i have never felt the awkward and is totally new to me so please dispense the advice. dude you know you're gonna you're gonna fucking grab her like a man does grab her like a man does and then you're gonna say you know what you you guys have met jody's sister right rosy well we didn't meet her you i i saw her. you came and said hello okay she's really quiet and nerdy yeah yeah yeah yeah she's really quiet but it's funny like the guy she's with now is the guy that she hooked up with probably about this guy's age about sophomore in high school and uh he's a really good friend of mine he's like an amazing musician but like the way the way they met at high school it's so fucking hilarious like he walked up to her and she had on this is gonna sound really bad she had on some band patch like misfits or something he was like these dudes suck and rip the patch off of her backpack that's what he did that was the first impression so do something like that and bam i'm surprised that someone react like that to her and you need to say in spanish you need to be like hard because right it's like in a high school you can't be like let's go out for coffee because you're stuck at school yeah but uh do you want to study sometime yeah you should ask her she wants to get through no that's trust me that gets her in your house yeah the yeah that's true plus nerdy girls you don't get to get nerdy girls according to uh to uh the guilt that you just know the guilt you know you don't even have to pay attention to him you just can call him like once a week and that's all they need to get by just ask her if she wants to study yeah ask her she wants to study and if you guys have like a 15-minute break or something you should just go up and talk to her sometime i mean you know 15-minute break is nice because you can talk to her knowing that there's going to be a finite end of the conversation if it's going horribly and honestly like you don't even know if you like this girl because you have never talked to her that well you know and what i was going to suggest is actually like to make people feel a bit more comfortable if there's like a school event going on like the the drama club or doing a christmas player something like get together and do something as a group or something and then do something afterwards now because then your failure is like if you if you fail like your failure is there for everyone to see but all right just well yeah i guess it depends on your basically status talk for more but but but actually like this is a good time like uh the recent episode of uh it's always sunny in philadelphia actually has some really good dating tips the dennis system well the biggest thing he needs to do is talk to her more if you force some conversation you know if you can't even a conversation or maybe she's not very interesting hmm i don't know i just tell her i feel like you make suggestions that will not work for anyone but you because you have the fucking balls to pull them off go rip her patch on vandalize her property um darek writes in and he says uh these are questions that need at answering they're pretty silly but they're just one way or the other we're gonna go through would you remind me after this letter that i have a correction or two to make yes so would you rather own a car company or a toy factory toy factory uh oh come on that's something you have to think about yes car i i don't know man car i'm gonna go car would you rather than think about it you could put a center block on the gas tank and drive it off the that's true you don't have your own cars all right good point car drive a car dummy would you rather eat five rotten cheese slices what's wrong with that what does arthur want toy toy company or car company he didn't seem inclined to answer the toy moved on once a toy car company i would i'd say toy company just to sell it because there's very little chance at anyone would want to buy my car company especially if it's an american car company would you rather eat five rotten cheese slices or lick a dirty toilet five rotten cheese slices five rotten cheese slices is it sad that i have to think about that one yes that's right it is sad um and you didn't answer yet i guess well now i don't want to be a freak cheese slices but now we know you're real answer which is why it's like it then this is going to be like a situation where like mythbusters does it and like uh the people's cheese turn no you know what from now on like from now on every time anything happens in anthony can't make a decision i'm going to go why don't you just go lick toilet or something oh man i can't read a lot of the rest of these they just get more and more foul like like seriously oh is this the same guy yeah yeah pick one okay um okay oh god they're all really bad guys um pick one fine i'll just do this one because this one's mundane no don't read the mundane one kind fine would you rather your mom catch you masturbating or you catch your mom oh yeah how much how about that one so that was like no brainer though like yeah mom catch me mom catch me yeah mom catch me i mean that one goes far uh because it's happened and it wasn't and it wasn't ultimately that embarrassing yeah really now am i the only one yeah yeah never got busted i think there were some close calls um i don't think she blatantly like it was never said audibly that she knew that that's what happened she knew but we hadn't understanding that there was a reason i was at three in the afternoon laying a bed with the blanket over me right my mom just found the stiff sock collection um i'm just imagining your mom fighting the stiff sock collection it is so amusing me Tyler what's up with these socks uh oh my nose didn't have any tissue i can just buy you some tissues um they aren't strong enough someone asked us to define poop socks your wiener's not that big adam didn't was wondering what poop sock means um poop sock just means that you just like spend so much time on a game it's like you never leave it as in like you would be pooping in a sock because you don't even get up to go to the toilet but we just use it as more of a slang term for just spending an unhealthy amount of time on a game emphasis on unhealthy yeah like whenever you stop playing the game and you feel sore yeah from like sitting in one chair you're like i might have a blister in my ass from sitting in one spot have a better that's not a blister or you get up and you like realize that you've been sitting on food wrappers or something um i wonder how audible that was yeah i think it just kicked off the feedback protection so josh says uh very simply my little brother bought a ds recently and he's looking to buy some games i have a few to lend him new super Mario brothers of course and a few others i'm just curious if there's anything maybe easily overlooked or anything newer he might like um you like the force unleashed on ds he's 12 not really into violent video games puzzle adventure something maybe less conventional puzzle quest and he says nuts couple nuts puzzle quest is a great one that's a fantastic little casual game i mean i guess that that involves violence as an abstract concept no no he he means he specifically says nothing fp stuff okay yeah puzzle buster peggle and i haven't played it on ds but i mean i mean i've heard it's good puzzle also geometry wars was a cool game on ds i guess and then you got a dragon sword to be out of the question all the phoenix right games are awesome um also i guess uh yeah the force unleashed i thought was good retro game challenge and retro game challenge i mean but you know you heard about you heard it on the earlier part of the show a lot of people recommend the crap out of that and there is a reason yeah that one might be a little you don't think that head some of that stuff might be over his head no i think retro game challenge is just super simple easy to digest fun henry hatsworth is another one that's a great little puzzle game he's 12 and also the retro game challenge games have sheets what i'm speaking of is it in the retro game challenge isn't that the one that has like a lot of old nes it's true but i mean uh it's still fun he's still 12 years old i mean i think this kid oh i have a pretty good understanding of you know i played a lot of pretty intense games when i was 12 so um but yeah i think those are all really good suggestions while we just throw it right there um which we will not repeat again yeah sue uh well pate his name's pate as a 15 year old mac owner i have little chance of enjoying the pc games that are so lauded on rebel fem and i've been unable to download games without a credit card and hardly any pc games are ported to max that is why captain forever is so great since it runs in a browser and is now free it's about the only computer game you've mentioned that i can play um so you just wanted to thank us for that cool man i'm glad that i would also tell you that plants versus zombies works on mac it does and there's a mac version and as this peggle yeah i mean you just got to get your fucking games you should get there you go you get your your your mom or your dad or your legal guardian let have him play a demo of either peggle or plants versus zombies man they'll slap down that credit card that could backfire though because what if they're just always asking for his laptop man i could be that could be lead to great spawning i wonder if maybe next year you'll see a steam client for mac like in uh because they're they're just expanding to cover so many different kinds of games besides like hardcore first-person shooter type stuff i um i have sort of a it's not a late release but i think it's just kind of interesting little story from Ian does it involve poop it actually it does as a matter of fact how do they fucking know but it just says hey guys wanted to share with you a little anecdote and ask you a small question about two months ago i took a 20-day hike up in the Himalayas to the base camp of Everest you are harder core than everyone in this room it's not a particularly technical or dangerous hike just long and physically demanding which is essentially all due to the altitude you reach in the last few days on the way back down after hiking to the base camp i was having a kind of rough time intestinal illnesses and a slog of simply walking and thin air was wearing heavy on me uh so i did what i usually do when i'm feeling like i'm going to kill overall hiking i pulled out my iPod listening to rebel FM of course and it worked really well too well actually i was so absorbed in the podcast that i forgot to drink any water for the next two hours that's a serious concern for anybody hiking at high altitude you're supposed to drink between three and four liters of water each day um i listened along happily until our groups lunch break at which point i turned off my iPod and immediately felt like i was going to pass out a couple tea and a couple cups of tea an hour of rest later i was back on the top of my game but it was touch and go for a little while big thanks to you guys for making such a great podcast i just need to be careful when i'm listening to it so we almost killed Ian yeah we almost killed Ian in the Himalayas if you're listening to us right now and you're like Ian in your i want everyone who's listening to drink water drink water please have have your water like your party could have eaten your body yeah god would imagine if he had the last words Ian and heard was our dumbass voices uh uh uh uh uh and you're dead explain that one i'm pretty sure that would get you a tripped purgatory at the very least oh man dick jokes you died listening to dick jokes um yeah he says uh would you say your name in the book which brings me to my question have you ever had any skills that you've learned from playing games transferred to real life and be actually useful for example i attribute all of my map reading skills from playing video games i mean i i feel like i have a really good sense of a sense of direction and like that could be attributed to gaming yeah um i would just say that i have really good reflexes with certain hand eye coordination things but i mean that's definitely games but like a specific skill like what he's saying like uh map reading i don't know um i have really well developed special logic i feel like video games as far as a real life skill it's given me is the ability that i feel like i can figure things out of my own like for instance uh you know like i always like when i play a game you know it's like you watch someone that doesn't play games and they pick up a controller they pick up a new piece of technology and they're like man i have no idea how i would do this whereas for me it's like a it's just like a quick puzzle that i figure out like i just start i'm not afraid to experiment and that's a common gamer thing actually that's been analyzed yeah so you just you know you're not afraid to just start pushing buttons and see what works until you figure it out i do that with all my digital cameras now my cell phones you know my dad's sitting there pouring over an instruction book button uh lots of like it helps like i said i have really well developed spatial logic and reasoning and pattern recognition but other than that um so the last one i'm going to end with this from peter and it's for a charity shout out and i'm okay with shouting out for his charity yeah he says i work with an organization called game zombie and we are doing a 48-hour movie showing of all all the live action movies made of video games for penny or cage child's play charity event it would be awesome if you guys took any time to watch but the reason i'm writing is to ask for a simple little shout out the charity event which game zombie will be showing on their website games on b.tv/charity the event starts on saturday the 19th at 4 30 p.m and ends on monday the 21st at 4 30 p.m all the movies are listed at our site this the first year we'll be doing this and have the modest goal of five thousand dollars if you were to give us a shout out in the next two podcasts for the showings that would dramatically help our numbers i can't promise that i'll remember for next week if you want us to do that again you should email again yeah thank you for all your help all the proceeds will go to the child's play charity um yeah awesome so i appreciate it yeah um uh you should also remember that uh we still have a uh a donation link up for our uh for children's miracle network from the podcast that we all made you very sad listening to um but yeah you guys can still donate to that through paypal now so i still encourage you to do so and everyone that's donated you know we don't have your names but you know you're awesome um what are you looking up Arthur uh i actually had a couple of semi-corrections to make i guess uh last week i said that the island of dr ned doesn't scale uh i've actually heard a couple conflicting things a lot of people felt the need to uh to be kind of dick bags and say look asshole it totally does scale uh apparently it doesn't particularly scale if you're on your first playthrough which is what we were playing on uh and uh and even then it scales really strangely on the second playthrough so i mean it kind of scales but it doesn't scale very well in correction number two is that the voice of atcio is not known in north exactly uh Desmond does the voice or no one north is the is the voice of Desmond Desmond okay yeah he sounds like Drake and someone sent me the name of the guy that does uh i have so many questions no one north those that does a voice in army of two uh that's right he does uh atcio's voice is actually Roger craig smith um and i wanted to say that make sure that i said that because he does a really excellent job is atcio um yeah he does no one north is also a voice in fucking saboteur his voice is everywhere there's like five voice actors in there everywhere um all right let's wrap this be up so thank you
