It is a shortened version of the Sheletta Show this Saturday and we started the day off talking about a tragic shooting that had taken place in Saint Paul on Friday night as an 11 year old boy was shot in the head by a 13 year old not too far from the State Capital - so what can we do to keep this vicious cycle from occurring with our youth and the violence that ensues. We also had Brian Mills from Northwest Mutual on the show in the first hour - giving out financial help to those who need it and talking about generational wealth as well. Also talked to Sena Geleto, a youth advocate for MN Smoke Free Generation and Community Outreach Coordinator at North Point Health and Wellness about educating our youth about the dangers of smoking including vaping, e-cigarettes and what her and her team are doing to contribute to that. Sheletta also caught up with an old friend in Krissy Ott, reminiscing on their time together in junior high and what brings her to the Twin Cities this weekend.
