This week we discuss Juneteenth, our newest national holiday.Started in Texas as a celebration of when enslaved Africans learned that the emancipation proclamation gave them freedom within the confederate states, Juneteenth is moved on to the national stage. Raising questions about how we engage history, outcomes from activism, and what is the appropriate way to celebrate. I will let our discussion speak for itself.
