Worship is our response, personal and corporate, to God, for who He is and what He's done, expressed in and by the things we say and the way we live. Everyone assigns supreme value to something, but God is the only thing of ultimate value. Paul describes a life of worship in Romans 12:1 when he instructs us to "offer our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God". We were designed for many things but created for worship.
