Carl Jackson discusses his career with Jim and Jesse McReynolds, Glen Campbell, and his production of Orthophonic Joy, a Various Artists compilation, with a spoken word describing the 1927 Bristol Sessions that leads into today's artists' versions of several of those songs. Orthophonic Joy benefits the Birthplace of Country Museum in Bristol, Virginia. By the way, Carl and I were a few years younger at the time and I was very nervous.
