Andy B chatted with Rev. Gareth Higgs from Plymouth Central Methodist Hall about the foodbank they are responsible for, the issues in Plymouth, the hope of Jesus Christ at Christmas time, and the difference small things can make to the lives of people who are struggling.
From substance addiction to having no food, he sees people in all sorts of stages and places in their lives. And, this year, the church he leads are seeking to have 1,000 knitted angels to give away to people – alongside the foodbank – to bring some hope, and a smile, to the people they serve.
