Open your bottle. Go to Luke chapter 4, put your red little dilly thing there, and then open your bottle to John chapter 14. Luke chapter 4, John chapter 14. Before we read any scripture, I want you to get your bulletin out. I printed something for you this week. Because I wanted you to know, as we've been talking about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy. We covered that about three or four weeks ago if you did not get that CD, get it. Matter of fact, get the whole series. You can download it for free at your house. We put everything on the internet so that you can share it. But one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy, and prophecy is designed to encourage you to tell you about things that are coming so that you will be ready and excited about what God is doing. We had a prophecy over the church many, many months ago before most of you were here. And I want you to take this, a reason I printed it for you is because I want you to take it home. I want you to put it in your prophecy drawer. I have one in my house, and when I need a little encouragement, I pull them out and I read them. And they're very encouraging. They lift me up and they help me. See, that's the gift of the Holy Spirit. He wants to do that for you. So, a prophecy to the Gateway Church by Wayne Drain. Prophecies of the gift of who? At the test, half of Israel. Prophecies of the gift of who? So, who's actually speaking? But we can receive the words of the Holy Spirit for today. Okay, we're going to get some out of the Scripture that he wrote a couple of thousand years ago, but this was a couple of years ago. Okay, so the Holy Spirit is speaking. Here we go. Gateway Church is called to be a voice, not an echo to this region. From your foundations, I have called you to be a prophetic voice proclaiming my now word to the body of Christ in this area. I am calling you to be a prophetic voice, calling the lost, though lonely, the hungry, and the broken to come to my bank-witting table and eat. Doesn't that sound just like Jesus? He does. For this will be a place where spiritual food and drink will be generously gathered in and given out. Prominent, national, internationalies will come to this place and offer their gifts. And the nobodies, the nothings, and the no names will come to prominence here. For this will be a place where the cycles are made and sent out. The Church will be a gathering in a sending place. The Lord is doing something new among you. Don't model yourself after all patterns. Don't chase after new models you see. Seek me, and I will show you the pattern and the model I choose to release through you. Don't chase after promotion. Don't chase after the media. For promotion doesn't come from the east of the west. Promotion comes from the ward. Know this. Promotion will come. The media will come. And I will communicate through your message, your music, and my miracles. Did you hear the Holy Spirit say he has miracles? For this will be a place where the message, the music, and the miracles will combine to let the world know that there is a God who is alive and on the news. Now I'm going to stop right there. I want you to take the rest and read. If I catch your reading here, I'll have to point you out and embarrass you. I wouldn't. I want you to take that prophecy home, but this is, I've longed to be a part of a church that wants to show that God is not dead. That he's alive and on the move, and that there's nothing you see or faith in life he cannot handle. HIV does not scare him. The dead men do not scare him. And I want to be a part of a church, and I want you to understand something this was given to the church. We're not a platform church. We're not a spectator church. We're a participative church. This prophecy was given to you. And if that's your heart's desire to be a part of a place where you can move in the gifts of the Spirit during the right place, if you desire to spectate during the wrong place. There's a lot of other spectator churches around. We're not going to be one of those. We're going to be a participator. God has equipped you with gifts. The Holy Spirit has anointed you. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you, and I want to call today for you to let him come out. That's his word to us. He's not dead. I'm going to tell you something. There's a miss among us. The Holy Spirit is no longer acting like he used to act. He's less than his cousin or something. He's the same as he was when he came on Jesus. He's the same as he was when he started the church. He's the same today, and he's looking for vessels that he can use. And I'm going to show you the keys to stay, how to unlock his power, because he's not changed. And he's willing and ready, but he holds back until he sees a vessel that he can pour himself through. And when he sees, maybe he'll be all over it. I want you to see that in Scripture today. Go to John 14, which you see what the words of Jesus are. That was the words of the Holy Spirit to the church. I want you to hear the words of Jesus to every believer. John 14, verse 12. Robert read this verse last week. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works, say the works that I do, he will do also. Greater works than these will he do, because I go to my Father. When he went to the Father, who did he send? Holy Spirit. Now, is this isn't read in your Bible as it is in mine? Both letters read. Is Jesus the man that he can lie? Can the Holy Spirit lie? To let a miracle. We're the miracles. No question, we have a message in this booklet that's like none other. I've been in churches for 40 years. I don't know if I went when I was one year old, I'm 41. I've been in church for a long time. I've not heard messages like come out of this booklet. I mean, I pastor has a gift, that's a pure gift from the Holy Spirit. It's good. It makes me nervous to have the following. You don't know what kind of music is coming out of this place. It's already been written now. There's music already stirring. There's CDs already stirring. This is going to be a house where there's a message. There already is a message. There already is music. I want to know, Holy Spirit, we're the miracles. That's what I want to say. I'm longed by a whole life to read this book and I see what he does. And I want to know where the miracles are. Holy Spirit said, if you want to know where the miracles are, if you want to know where the keys are, go back to where they started. So I want you to turn Luke chapter 4. And I want you to look where the miracles started. And we'll find some keys here that will help us unlock the miraculous. I longed to see the dead rise. Smith Wigglesworth did something I love. I've been reading books about Smith Wigglesworth, John G. Lake and John Alexander Dow. We got to move to the 1800s, early 1900s. Been reading about William Brandon up to the 1950s when the Holy Spirit went in and cleaned out west wings of hospitals. And one day they cleared out the whole hospital. I longed for that kind of, that's 60 years ago, 50, 40, 30 years ago. Where's the power today? I'm not satisfied till I see the power. I was reading about Smith Wigglesworth. He had a neighbor that he kept witnessing to, witnessing to, witnessing to the neighbor said, I don't want it. I don't want it. I don't want it. He said, okay, the neighbor died. And Smith started over to his house and Smith's wife looked at him and said, Smith. He said, you quite want him. She said, you cannot raise him from the dead. I said, yes I am. Went right into his neighbor's house. He was laying there, walked into the house and said, get up. And he did. He said, now you're going to accept Jesus for not. And he did. That's power. Has that power gone away? Was it for one particular man? No. Post Spirit shows no partiality. God shows no partiality. So where's the power? Let me show you where you get the power. Look at Luke chapter 4 verse 1. Jesus and then being filled with the Holy Spirit returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. I want to stop right there. I want you to look at a couple words. Jesus returned from the Jordan River, right? He was just bad times. Is that correct? If you go back to Luke chapter 3, we won't. We don't take the time for it. He was bad times. Holy, mercy on the water. Got his hair wet and everything. Came back on top. Can I ask you a question about this? Why did the Son of God need to be bad times? Did he need remission of sin? No. Then why was he bad times? In me, our example. In either one that we would have looked through how to live. W.W.J.D., what would Jesus do? And that's the theme. I'm going to change that for you today. W.W.H.S., what would the Holy Spirit do? Because Jesus was our example that he was filled by who? He was filled by who? Why would the Son of God need the Holy Spirit? Does your mind work like mine? Because I think like this. Jesus did all the miracles that he did. All the signs and wonders because he was the Son of God. I mean, we just finished the nine supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. He operated in all nine. Words of knowledge, words of wisdom, words of prophecy. He operated in miracles and gifts and healing and faith. And he operated in them all. Where did he get those? They're the Holy Spirit, my friend. Do you see in your Bible in Luke chapter 4 verse 1 where it says Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit? He's our example. If you're ever going to move in the power of God, you're going to have to be filled with the power of God. And the power of God is the Holy Spirit. Now, I want to shake your theology a little bit this morning, okay? Because we've got this mentality that once we're filled, it's enough. Okay? I want to shake it a little bit. Look at Acts chapter 2. And when Jesus told me the disciples, he said, because I was filled, I could tell you to go be filled. Wait in Jerusalem. He didn't tell them how long. Now, this bothers me sometimes when I read scriptures like this. He says, wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Now, he said it because he'd already demonstrated it to him, okay? Because he was filled with the Holy Spirit. And then he says, wait. Now, he didn't tell him how long did he? You know, they waited ten days. Now, this is how I got a weird one. I'm sorry. It's just way of work. There's 120 in the upper room. How many bathrooms do they have? [laughter] Who cooked and cleaned? Where were all the children? You see, we flippantly just read past that. They got filled with the Holy Spirit. It wasn't that wonderful. You know, they had to wait ten days. If the Jesus would have told me to go wait. Go wait. Go wait. And then I was thinking, you know, he ain't coming. It's been an hour. Don't wait to wait a minute. My gosh, it's been three hours. We're really in an instant society, aren't we? We want it right now. We're not willing to wait. They waited ten days in the upper room while they were with no facilities. Would you have gone home? They didn't. Look at Acts chapter 2. What's happened? And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit because they obeyed the Word of God. And they began to speak with other tongues, and the Spirit gave them others. Can you say all? All. Not just the twelve. All. 120. Okay? Got that? Now, this one will shake your theology. Look at Acts chapter 4. Verse 31, "You remember when Peter and John went to the temple, and they raised the lame man up. He was there, say, "It's the porch and begging. He said, "'Sir, when God have I none, what I do have, I give to you." And he raised him up, and he did a little belief in the sanctuary. One of them was very uncommon for anybody to believe in the sanctuary in those days. But, hello! Hey, John, sir! Oh my gosh! Unlike what you would do, I'm sure. If you'd never walk, he got excited. Well, his excitement got the brothers in trouble. You know what? I like being in trouble with Jesus. I'm looking for trouble with Jesus. Because with trouble comes power. They came back after being released from being in trouble and told the whole group what the trouble was about. And they got together and they said, "Let's pray for more." Got that? That's where we pick it up. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken. And they were all... Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Peter and John are already in field, haven't they? Hello? Haven't Peter and John already been filled? How does it say they were all filled with the Holy Spirit? Luke chapter 4 verse 1, when you read this word, Jesus was filled, it meant he was full. He was full of the Holy Spirit. I want to tell you, there's a different thing once filled and being full. I'm convinced today we've never seen a man who's full of the Holy Spirit. But I want to say this, every one of us in this room can be filled full of the Holy Spirit. Go to Acts chapter 6. This is a prerequisite to be a deacon in the Church of the First Church. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men, good faithful reputation and full, full of the Holy Spirit. Not once filled, full of the Holy Spirit. Okay? Acts 6, 5, they choose seven men and they say, "Well, this is a good thing. The whole congregation likes it." And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and a Holy Spirit. And then he named the rest of the deacons. You see Stephen with full of the Holy Spirit? He say he was once filled or he say he was full. Are y'all awake? Is there a difference being once filled and being full? Okay, what's this? Stephen had his death. He preaches a great sermon. He preaches a great sermon. And then they don't like it. And they pick up rocks and start throwing 90 mile an hour past all that his body. And Jesus being full, not only in the beginning, but at the end he's still full. Full of the Holy Spirit. Gaved into heaven, saw the glory of God and Jesus stands right in the God. Smith Wetherforth says this about being filled with the Spirit. He says, "Will you pour out self, and do you get filled up with the presence and the power of God?" Until you're willing to pour out self, you cannot be filled up. You see, I'm convinced we're trying to mix flesh with spirit. We want to keep our flesh, but we want a little more of the spirit. And we want to keep a balance so that we don't look too weird. And I'm telling this, when you lose the flesh, you can be full. You know how I know you can be full? Because I see it in Scripture. I see it before I see this Scripture. When Jesus went to the Mount of a transfiguration, do you remember that day? Took three of his disciples, Moses and Elijah showed up. The boys got a little scared spitless over there. Remember that part? They were shaking and trembling a little bit. Did we build temples for all three of these guys? Well, I don't know what to do. This is errors. Us Jesus, we never say anything like that. When you act a little bit like that, if he saw all of a sudden his body begins to glow, rays of light begin to shoot out. It didn't make me a little nervous. I might bite my thing in the house. Could it possibly, now, listen to me. I'm not trying to create a new doctrine, but could it possibly be? I understand that he was demonstrating he was a son of God. And I understand that he was fulfilling prophecy and all those things. I'm not debating any of that. Could it possibly believe that he was trying to show you that this flesh man? He was all God, but he was all man. That this flesh man can contain the fullness of God. So much that is so full that it shoots out of your body into your clothing. If it goes into your clothing and it can be impartated in your clothing, you remember when the woman walked by and touched the hem of his garment? He was so full of the Holy Spirit. It went into his clothes. He was so full that his shadow, his shadow could pass by a person that would get up. Not just with Jesus, it happened with Peter. He's walking by and his shadow says somebody and they get up. Oh, you want one more? Yeah. Hey, how about you? You want something else? How about you? I know it's the Spirit because the Spirit came on Jesus. He acted that way in Jesus and you did the same thing in Peter. Paul says, "I'm so full that I can watch the napkins and sweat off my brow with handkerchiefs and aprons." And we put it on six people and they get up. That's full. I'm convinced today we don't know anything about being full. We work for a one-time experience where we wait for a little power. And then we say, "We got it. Can we go home?" And we let our flesh go rasping. You want the miracles of God. Do not have to be full. It's so full that it comes out of your being. And everywhere you go, people are touched. Gordon Lindsay was so full. He went into his room. He prayed in the Spirit in the hotel. He prayed in the Spirit for hours. He left to go do business, came in, the maid walked in to clean the room. She hit the floor. And got saved just like that from the presence of God. Folks, we don't know anything about being full. I've never seen a man in full, but I'm telling you one thing. I'm percent with all my heart. I want to be full. I'm tired of playing church. I want to be the church. I want the Holy Spirit to use this vessel. If Jesus had to be full to perform a miracle, then I want to be full just like Jesus. Now I'm answering questions. How many miracles did Jesus do before he was filled with the Holy Spirit? How many recorded in Scripture? None. If the plan of the Father, he got in the will of the Father and he got in the plan and said, "I'm here with the Lord Father Father and I'm going to go by his plan. It's not about me. It's about him." And what he did, miracles began to happen. Okay? Go back to Leech chapter 4 verse 1. Key number 1 and Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit. Key number 2, what's this? Then Jesus being filled with the Holy Spirit returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit. Uh-oh, we don't like that. Jesus was led by the Spirit. He was led by the Spirit. We don't like being led. We smart people. We like to do what we want to do when we want to do it. He's the disciples were just goofy enough to believe that when he said, "Go wait. Nine days or what?" He said, "Wait. We're waiting." Can't stay power. He said, "See, I told you. See, not a lie. See, definitely Jesus was a man that can't lie. We lose our John chapter 14 and said, "You'll do the work. The work that I did. Yeah, sure we will. We've seen that in about 40, 50 years. I'm just crazy enough to believe that he's not a man that's been gone. But you've got to be willing to be led by the Spirit. You've got to be willing to be led by the Spirit." I was praying two weeks ago. I took a couple of days off just to get refreshed a little bit. I was in my own personal time in the morning. I was just praying. I was back to playing golf that afternoon. I was asking him to help me in my golf game because it wasn't very good. I was asking just talking to the Holy Spirit. We've been in this series and I've been talking to the Holy Spirit like crazy. I love the Holy Spirit. I have a reverence for the Holy Spirit like I've never had before. I was just asking him that morning, "Can you help me out in my golf game? I'm blessed because I'm going to be with and bless my children. I won't throw all the blessing things." The Holy Spirit stopped me and said, "Can I ask you a question?" I said, "Well, okay." He said, "Why don't you ask me what I want to do today?" Oh, it broke my heart. I realized in 41 years I've never asked the Holy Spirit one time what he wants to do today. He knows he has a will and a plan from the Father. He's not flipping. He's not flaky. He's not a freak. He has a will and a plan from the Father that he wants to release on the earth, that he can't release it until he has a vessel. And he's looking for a vessel that he can flow it through. And one of the parts of being a vessel is you've got to be willing to be led by him. You've got to be willing to be full of him, but you've got to be willing to be led by him. And when you are, watch out your candidate for the power to flow. I'm going to ask you a question. Where did he lead Jesus first? Wilderness. I did not understand that. But the beauty about the Holy Spirit is when you don't understand something, you get to asking. So I said to the Holy Spirit, "Why?" It doesn't make sense to me. I understand the field part, I understand the leading part. I just don't understand that you're taking him to the wilderness first. I'm missing that part. This is key number three. Key number two is you've got to be led. Key number three is you've got to go to wilderness first and watch what the Holy Spirit said to me. Why did you lead Jesus to the wilderness? The Holy Spirit said to me, "Because if you can't defeat Satan in your private life, you will never defeat him in your public life." I said, "That makes sense to me." Jesus had to go face Satan alone and defeat him privately because Satan would be throwing things publicly at him constantly. What are you going to do when they bring a woman called in adultery standing in your presence and says she had to be stoned? We brought all kinds of things. What are you going to do when a demoniac runs out of the mountain like a crazy wild man? And that could cut itself all over and running right at you. You better not have known how to defeat Satan privately before you try to defeat him publicly. Is that correct? So, how did Jesus defeat Satan privately? This will be key number three. Well, let's pick it up. Verse two says, "Jesus being tempted for 40 days by the devil, in those days he ate nothing." Afterward, when he had ended, he was hungry. 40 days, wouldn't you be hungry? I'd be hungry, too. I'd be hungry after the first ten minutes. And then, verse three, the devil said to Jesus, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread." Then the devil always tested out. In this one of his... Now, most women read about three tricks. He only has three. He only needs three because they work. And if you learn to defeat the devil privately in these three areas, you will be victorious publicly. Watch. He said to... You're hungry. I know you're hungry. You didn't eat in 40 days. Once you turn that stone right there to bread. Now, Jesus is pretty good at making bread, right? You prove that later with 4,000 and 5,000? He's pretty good at making bread. How did Jesus respond back? He said, "It is written, man shall not live by what? Bread alone, but by every word, from God." Who wrote the book? Who inspired men to write the book? So, third key is that you're going to have to speak like the Holy Spirit tells you to speak. I can see Jesus when he's there. The temptation he looks over at his... Jesus looks over at the Holy Spirit and says, "What do I say to that?" He said, "Well, I've written this book." And he carries... The Bible says it's like a two-edged sword. The end of the wise spirit and soul is powerful. And that was it. And Holy Spirit says quote, quote description. You know why you'd be defeating privately? You know I'm asking the Holy Spirit what to say. You have to ask the Holy Spirit what to say when the devil tempts you in the appetite of your flesh. Is this not an appetite of his flesh? He's got an appetite of his flesh that's being tempted. Why don't you turn that stone to bread? I know you're the Son of God. I know you can make bread. I mean I've been around Daddy before. Daddy's very powerful and you don't send his son to them. And the Holy Spirit says, "I know you make bread." You know he would not do with his own flesh. He would not feed his own flesh bread, but he would make it for others. Because he didn't come to be about him. He came for others. If you've got an appetite of your flesh that's out of kilter, you know you can ask the Holy Spirit today. And he will give you revelation in the Word that you preach. He wants you to be free. He wants you to feed Satan privately so that you can defeat him publicly. And he wants to do that through the Word. He'll illuminate the Word over and over. There's John Alexander Dowley was in Auckland, Australia. And he had a disease sweep through his little church. And the whole town of Auckland and people were dying left and right. And he was killing babies as well as old people in the mill and everybody between them. People were dying. They were doing math grades. Math services for people who passed away. He had 40 people in this church die. And he goes into this little study saying, "God, where's the power? Where's the power? I need the power, God. Where's the power?" All of a sudden the Holy Spirit speaks to him. Acts 1038. That scripture says Jesus went about doing good healing all who were sick and oppressed by the devil. And all of a sudden it exploded in his spirit. And when it exploded in his spirit, he got a revelation beyond revelation. And he glowed on to it. And as soon as he got it, not came to his door. A little girl standing there and said, "Married, she's dying. She's a little eight-year-old girl. She's dying. You've got to come." And John Alexander Dowley runs the Mary's house and walks in full faith. All of the new work from the Spirit. These married little mothers there, and she's crying. And the doctors there, and the doctors lied over. And he's kind of getting an assessment of the situation. The doctor leaned over to Dr. Dowley and says, "God acts in strange ways, doesn't he?" The new faith in John Alexander Dowley looked over the doctor and said, "Do you think this is God? This is not God. This is the devil." And I'm about to pray the prayer of faith, "Eta, you're going to join me or you're going to leave." He left. John Alexander Dowley walked over a little Mary. A little late-year-old laid his hands on and commanded that sickness, because I'm all praying that she'd be healed in the name of Jesus. And her body wasn't in the mouth. And her mother began to wait. She's dead. She's dead. And I said, "No, it's not dead. The people don't get her something to eat and drink quickly." And when in the kitchen got that body back, he snapped his fingers over the man. Well, Pastor, how long have you been here? The revelation of God's Word is powerful. And it will help you face whatever you're facing. And the mother began to weep over the marriage and cry, "God, I've got two poor boys in the bedroom and bed by him too. Can you help them?" I don't think so. It's just a Mary. You went in next year and two sons lived, not another person in his church died. And people all over the city died. That's how he started in John Valley. Revelation from God's Word. What's the next temptation? Verse 5, "Then the devil took Jesus up on a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment, in a flash. And the devil said to in verse 6, "All this authority, I will give you their glory for this has been delivered to me. And I will give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if you worship before me, all will be yours." What do you think Jesus did? Oh, the Spirit, what do you want to say? He said, "Well, why don't you tell him to get behind you?" Okay. "Get behind me, Satan, for it is written. You shall worship the Lord, your God, and him only, and you shall serve him only." I said to the Lord, I understand about that type of the flesh, and I really appreciate that because that helps me a lot. But you know what? I don't understand about this worship thing because I worship you with all my heart. I understand how this is temptation. He said, "Well, just from day one, Satan's always trying to get anybody to worship anything besides God." Whether it's your checkbook, or your house, or your cars, or other things. He said, "You remember a couple of months ago when I'd been squeezing things out of your heart, and I'm going to tell you, for two and a half years that I've been here at Gateway Church, the Holy Spirit has been squeezing me. All of a sudden, insecurities have been coming up. I'm like, "Man, what is all this stuff coming from?" They keep surfacing, and more I interact and rub, and the Spirit descends. "Man, what is in there?" I said, "Man, I don't know, but I don't like it." And it keeps coming to the top. And it keeps revealing, and I'm like, "Man, I've never been insecure in my whole life." I mean, I had five, six older siblings, four older brothers. They beat the tar. I mean, I should have been just tough. All of a sudden, I'm feeling weak. I'm feeling insecure, and I'm feeling feared. One day, the Holy Spirit said to me, "It was a tape at my house called Freedom from Fear by Jimmy Evans." And I said, "You know, I've never really think I've dealt with fear, but I think the Holy Spirit wants me to listen to this. So I take the tape, plug it in, and land." He revealed something to me about worship. And this is one statement he made. "I encourage you, we have the tape here. I encourage you to get the tape." Listen to the statement he said, "Jimmy said in that Freedom from Fear tape, "If you fear rejection, you will worship acceptance." That hit me like a ton of bricks. He said, "If you fear failure, you will worship success." I pretended that day from fear of man, fear of rejection. And I've been suffering. It was a powerful word from God to my heart. And the Holy Spirit said, "I encourage you, get that tape. It'll help you." The third temptation, we pick up the story in verse 9. "Then he brought him to Jerusalem, set him on the high pinnacle of the temple, and said, "If you're the son of God, they're casting that again. Throw yourself down from here, for it is written. He shall." Do you see Satan's quote in Scripture? Do you ever have people quote in Scripture to you that didn't bring life? When the Holy Spirit quotes Scripture to you, does it bring life or death? When the Satan quotes Scripture, what is it? When it doesn't bring life to you, you get a clue? He shall give angels charge over you to keep you. And in his hands, they shall bear you up. He just quote and word for it. "Let you dash your foot against the stone." And Jesus says the Holy Spirit, "What I think." He said, "You shall not thank the Lord your God." You know what I actually heard the Holy Spirit saying to me? Jesus laughed. At this moment, He began to laugh. You ever laugh at the devil? It's healthy. Very healthy. Very healthy. When my children get sick, I laugh. Oh, man, why? He's so goofy. What are you doing? Jesus laughed. You know why? He looked out. I really believe He looked at Satan and said, "This is the reason you got kicked out of heaven." You think it's all about you. You want to prove it. You want everybody to know who you are. It's your pride. He said to Jesus, "Hey, you're the son of God. Why don't you catch yourself? Let everybody see that you're the son of God." You're just cruising. You don't understand about me. You don't understand anything about me. You don't understand anything about the Holy Spirit. We're not here about us. We're about my daddy's business. This is not about me. When you get a glimpse, folks, if this is not about you, it's not about what you possess. It's not about what you get. It's not about who you are. It's not about how big you are, what position you hold, what name title, all that stuff. When you get a clue back, it'll change your life. This is about the Holy Spirit filling this body up and doing those works for the Father. When you get that, your shadow will be powerful because watch. Satan left in verse 13. Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Jesus until an opportune time. Verse 14, "Then Jesus returned and what?" I wasn't lying, was I? If you want him to be filled, you're willing to be led and you're willing to speak what he says you'll have the power he has. You know why he doesn't release it? Most of us don't defeat Satan in our private lives. We're willing to be filled and we're willing to partially be led. The defeat in Satan in our private lives has been tough. He said, "If you'll do it." The power trunks next. Then not only the power, what's this in verse 18? Jesus walks right into the temple. Things are starting to happen as a stir because, I'm telling you, there's so much here. There's a stir over Jesus because he comes back in power. And when there's a stir, there's not a building big enough to hold the people. The building will be big enough to hold the people. But in verse 18, he says when he comes into the synagogue and there's a big stir about Jesus, they're handing the book. They know something happens and he said that he makes a declaration. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. Who's upon him? The Holy Spirit. And who's anointed him? Because the Holy Spirit has anointed me to do what? The works, what's the work? To preach the gospel. That's the work. He sent me to heal the brokenhearted. That's the work. He, to preach the deliverance to the captive. That's the work. To recover the side of the moron. That's the work. To set the liberty of those who are oppressed. That's the work. To preach the except of the year of the Lord. That's the work. If you want to work for the works of Jesus, you're going to have to be filled with the Holy Spirit. You want to be led by the Spirit and you don't have to say what the Spirit says and automatically the power of the morning will show up. He's just looking for a vessel. And I'm proving to you in Scripture, he's looking for a vessel and I'll close with this. Matthew chapter 21, Jesus walks right into Jerusalem. He walks right into Jerusalem. He's the day he's going to be betrayed. He's over. It's being done. The last supper is going to happen. Jesus is going to be against it. He's going to be betrayed. He's in Jerusalem and he goes right into the temple. Now I'll ask you a question. He goes right into the temple. Who's leading him? Who wants to lead you? Holy Spirit led him to the temple. Watch. Matthew chapter 21. Jesus then went into the temple of God and drove out all those who vault and sold in the temple and overturned the tables of the money and changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And the next verse says, and the survey says, and he said, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' which you've made it a den of thieves. Did the Holy Spirit lead him into the temple? Did you just see he had a fit? Did you just see Jesus had a fit? Now see, if you need to look like Jesus, I look like Jesus, because that's a lot, because I go on my house. I can have fits, but I don't think that's the point. I want to look like Jesus is what he did prior to having a fit. I think this fit was of the Holy Spirit because he's been led right by the Holy Spirit. Why did he have the fit? Because the house of God, the temple of God was in a disarray. Who is the temple of God now? He's leaving folks. He's giving us a picture. The Holy Spirit says, "Hold it, do it before you get out of town, before you leave the earth. I have to have you do one more thing. I want you to go into the temple and have a fit." Okay? That's how it's good to meet you. I've been wanting to have a fit ever since I've been here. He walks right into the temple and he cleans house. He cleans house. Isn't that what the Holy Spirit wants to do with us? He wants a clean house. Why? Because once he cleans house, what's the first thing? Then the blind and the lame came into the temple and he healed them. Did you see that? Do you see once the vessel is cleaned out, filled up, led, and defeated Satan? That the power comes? Is that not a beautiful picture of what the Holy Spirit wants to do? What are you looking for, vessels? Will you be a vessel for the Holy Spirit today? What are you full of? You have to teach us, you may be full of the Spirit and you may be full of flesh. It's your choice. [BLANK_AUDIO]
