Two months ago, I asked God some bottom line questions. I don't know if you're a bottom line person, I am. God doesn't mind bottom line questions. For those of you that are here and you think you're asking God some bottom line question, he likes it. Now, in fact, he wants to tell some, he could be eating around the bush and ask what you want to ask. You see, I love being a bottom line kind of God. I don't want to deal with the fluff, I want to deal with reality. What's real? Two months ago, there was a week in my life that I was having this, I was having several encounters with several couples in the church that needed prayer over serious issues. And I prayed for him and nothing changed. And I said, I went to the Lord and I said, you know, dad, I love your presence. I love the way Thomas ushers your presence in, I mean, this is incredible. I love that. But you know, if I can't live with your power, I mean your presence is great, but I want your power to, can we have both? And that's the bottom line question, I said, you know, can we have both? Do we have to just live with your presence and not your power or some of your power and not your power? I want both. That's my heart's desire. And I said to him, I don't think the problems with you, I really don't. I kind of think it's with me. So what's the problem? I asked him, I asked him a specific question when I asked about my wife five years ago. He said, good, I've been glad to wait for you to ask this question because I'm going to tell you. I said, well, I kind of knew that one. Open your bubbles in Matthew, chapter 28. This word has been rallying in me for two months. If we go to 130, you'll just have to forgive me. I haven't preached in six months, like it just may, may go alone. Now, I promise you, I told Robert, I'd hold it for 35 minutes and I'm going to be a man of my word today. You know, the big dog out of town, you can do whatever you want for at least one weekend. For those of you that don't know me, I am the executive senior pastor here. Basically, it's a big title of this to say, I do anything that Robert doesn't want to do. Lord, call me about eight years ago to walk with him. I didn't know how he was going to pull it off, but I'm glad he did. I love, I love Robert Morris. I love the vision God has given him. I'm telling you, you're about to see Gateway Church explode. This is the place that the presence and the power of God is going to be. What I want to share with you is what the Lord has shared with me two months ago about Jeff, if you want my power, you've got to recognize four things. And folks, I shared this in my life group six weeks ago and I'm going to tell you some stories that have come out of that, it's phenomenal what God has done. So I'm telling you, Buckle, you're about to see some of the most exciting things I've ever seen in my life. Matthew chapter 28, Jesus is just leaving. He's walking away from the earth. He's about to ascend into heaven. He's completed. He's done everything. And he has his 11th with him, the guys that he's raised up in his business. And he said, guys, I'm about to leave. What would you say in your last speech if you were going to turn the keys of the business or the organization over to the boys? What would you say? Would Jesus said it quickly, he didn't take a long time and make an elaborate speech. It just wasn't like the super ball we could be back here next year. He just said, I'm going to tell you a couple of things and I'm going to go. And the first statement that he made in Matthew chapter 28 verse 18, he said, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and in earth." What in the world did he mean by that? He looked over at Peter and said, Peter, you remember when I turned the water to wine? I was demonstrating my authority in the earth. So Peter, you remember when I told you to go fishing and pay our temple tax and the coin was in the fish's mouth? I was demonstrating my authority in the earth. John, you remember when I was walking on the water to the boat, you thought I was a ghost? You were scared, spitless. I remember, Lord, I remember, I was demonstrating my authority on the earth. I stepped into the boat, I calmed the sea and rebuked the wind. Do you remember that, boys? Yeah, we did. It was awesome day. You lived before you in authority over the earth. So do you remember when I cursed the fig tree, boys, and it withered up and died right there in front of your face? Yes. That's the authority. The earth always responds to my authority. You remember when I stood before the man who had a legion of demons and everybody was scared of him? Did you see fear on my face? No, sir. I lived in a heavenly authority that every demon in hell responded to what I said. And I want to remind you today where I got that authority. Did you notice in chapter 28 verse 18, he said, and I want you on the line, all authority has been given, I want you to remind that word, given, where do you get it? The same place you're going to get it. You see Jesus built an organization around 12 men, now 11, and he basically was saying to him, guys, the way I did it's the way I want you to do it. I'm going to prove that to you in Scripture in just a second, but that's exactly what you're saying. I lived under authority and operated in that authority, and that's the way I want you to do it. Now watch. Go over to John chapter 17. I'm going to show you a couple of scriptures, where this authority comes from. John chapter 17, we're going to read verse 1 and 2. He says in verse 1, "Father, the hour has come, glorify your son, that your son may also glorify you. As you have given him authority over all flesh." Where did it come from? The Father. Look over at John chapter 14, verse 10, this is one of the key verses that I got so excited when I saw this verse, I almost just, almost evaporated, I almost went to heaven, I thought. My wife said, calm down. I said, I can't calm down, this is too good. John chapter 14, verse 10, what's this? He's talking to the 12 and they asked him to show him the Father, and he said, man, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father in verse 10, he said, do you not believe that I'm in the Father and the Father's in me? He said, the words that I speak to, you know, what's this? The words that I speak to you, I do not speak on my own authority. Now why don't you see this? This word authority is in the New Testament, 102 times, it shows up in the form of five or six different words, here they are, authority, power, liberty, jurisdiction, right, strength. They're all the same word, when you look it up in the Greek, it's the exact same word. When you boil it down in the Greek, you say, I don't like to get messed up in the Greek because it blows my mind, my mind's not really that good, so I have to stay to simple terms, I'm not a bottle of mind type stuff, and I said, well, what's the bottom line word with this authority, power, strength, what does it mean? He said, Jeff, this means delegated influence. I'm giving you delegated influence over the earth and in heaven. He gave it to a son first, and his son said this, watch, watch, first and again, I do not speak on my own authority. The words that I said to the tree, when it withered it, I spoke it, now watch, but the Father who dwells in me, that's why. Did this strike you a little to instruct me? Now look at this, Jesus, I thought this verse should have said, I do not speak on my own authority, but I speak in the authority of the Father, don't it sound like that, that's the way I ought to say, I ought to read like that, this kind of means yes, this means no. That's okay. I just want to make it. There's at least three people that agree with me, I appreciate that. I thought that's what he said, but he didn't say that. He said, I speak what I've heard the Father say, and who does the works, the Father? You better catch that, because if you're going to operate in authority, if you're going to operate in power, as he says you can, and I'm about to prove to you, he said you can, you're going to have to understand who does the works, it's not you. He's asked you to do one thing, two things really, speak and stand, speak and stand, and he'll do the works. Who's this authority for? Who's this authority for? Look over to Matthew, let's go back to, first off I want to show you back in Matthew 28. He's finishing up his little small speech to the boys and said, you know, I'm about to leave. He said, this is the authority I operate in, this is how I built the kingdom, this is how I want you to continue to build the kingdom, and then watch, I tell you why he said that. He said, go therefore. He said, if you're going to continue to build the kingdom, I want you to go therefore. Anytime you see the word therefore in scripture, you always know it means it's linked to what he just said. According to what I just said, I want you to go and do, go and do what? Make disciples. He didn't say make converts, he said make disciples. I want you to walk with them, I want you to teach them, I want you to educate them, I want you to demonstrate right before them everything that I've demonstrated before you. Go and do it. Was this new to these guys? No. This wasn't new. I said, I lived this life before you, and now I want you to go out and live it too. You can. You know, you have compassion for people, you know, I saw when Jesus was on the cross and he said to the people, he said, Father forgive them for they know not what they do. That's real compassion. These are guys that pulled his beard, his face marked him, stabbed him, nailed him up. Father forgive him, you know not what they do. You know, we can have that same kind of compassion for people because Stephen had it. Stephen had it, he saved the same thing. They're hurling rocks, 80 and 90 miles an hour fastballs. And he said, Father forgive them, they know not what they do. Do you know we can live the way Jesus lived? Because he comes and lives inside us and he manifests himself through us and he said to the disciples, boys, I built the business this way, this is the way I built the kingdom. You go and do likewise, the same way, not just with the presence of God but with the power of God. You know, Jesus never had a problem growing a crowd. He never had a problem, but you know the church today, I'm just going to ask you right out, the church today, I mean, you're going to go home, somebody's going to have lunch with Grandma and Grandpa and mom and dad. How was church today? Have you ever heard that question? Around lunch, this new chance, okay, I just want to make sure, because I've heard it. You go out to lunch or the next day or whatever and they say, I was church and it's always, preacher's pretty good. Well, this week is a little weak, but you know, I think he was good. Oh, the worship was great. You know what Jesus said, church ought to be? He always said, church, they came from everywhere, because they saw the power. You ever heard someone say, how was church, we saw two people raise from the dead. We had a man with demons all over the church, he was running wild. He got set free, clothes and putting his right mind. What kind of church are you going to? Kind of you need to come to. You have one manifestation in the power of this church, one manifestation. It's built and be filled up. We won't be able to contain it. Three services for it, I tell you, when you get the power of God, the presence of God is wonderful. His saints will come out and they begin to draw and they'll warn people's hearts, but I think when the power shows up, you, there won't be enough seeds. You have to get here an hour early, maybe two. So I asked him, I said, how do we get the power? He said, you first off have to recognize when my authority comes from. Second off, you have to recognize who I'm giving it to. Watch, go over to Matthew chapter 10, quickly going to fly through some of these, just so that I can show you some things at the end that I think are most exciting. Matthew chapter 10, he said to the 12 verse one, and when he had called the 12 to him, he gave them, power, did I say that word power or authority is the same word as the authority that is in chapter 28 verse 18, it's the exact same word, same great word. He gave them power over unclean spirits to cast them out, to heal the sick and to heal all kinds of diseases. Look down in verse eight, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons, freely, you have received, freely give. Who did you say it was for, do you tell the 12 they could do it, okay? Turn over, let's go to Mark chapter, Luke 10, sorry, I'm telling you folks, I've gotten so much revelation, I had to cut so many scriptures out because I would have been here two days. Luke chapter 10, once you see this, this is awesome. Luke chapter 10, now watch verse one, after these things the Lord appointed 70 others. Did your Bible say anything about the relatives of the 12, brother-in-law, mom and dad, didn't say anything about that, did it, said 70 others. And he sent them out two by two just like he kind of sent out the disciples, and I had a funny thought when I was thinking about the disciples going out two by two. I wonder who got Judas every time. Oh Lord don't give me him again, you know, he just taking your money and you know he's going to dish on you at the end, man I ain't right, why don't you give me somebody else. I had him, I sweet. I probably got Judas every time, but anyway here we go. He said 70 others, he sent them out just like he sent the disciples. These aren't the 12 right? These aren't the special 12, we always think the special 12, they're just men, they weren't special, they were just men, and watch, go to verse nine, he said to be 70, I want you to heal the sick in the town that you go into, and tell them the king of God is near. Now watch verse 17 when they returned, they were pretty excited, and the Lord said when they returned the 70 return would join the Lord even the demons are subject to us in your name, did he tell them they had power over the demons? No he did not, he said you can heal the sick, he didn't say anything like he said to the 12 you could cast out demons, but they came back saying man I can't believe it, the demons are even subject to us in your name, this is exciting, the power, this is good Lord, I mean they were kind of happy, they were, Lord this was pretty good, I'm telling you, hey Swiss this was nice, thank you very much, this is a good experience, I'll put it on my resume, and this is going to be fun, telling others how the power works, they weren't, they were excited, and Jesus said man I saw Satan fall like lightning in verse 17, 18, and he said verse 19 he said behold watch I give you, this is 70 or the 12, 70, I give you the authority to trample on serpent scorpions and over all, not some, all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you, nevertheless don't rejoice in this, don't get too excited about this, get excited about your name being written in the book of heaven, that's what you are a big side about, and then Jesus turned to verse 21, this is, oh you got to see this, verse 21 he said in that hour Jesus is rejoicing the spirit and he turned and he said to the Father I praise you Father, what, Lord of what, you know what that word Lord right there means Jesus is saying this to dad, supreme authority, you know where you get your authority, I'm not sure from the supreme authority, supreme authority rules all of heaven and all of earth, you don't have a little tiny bit of second class authority, you have full authority, the reason I chose the word carte blanche with this message is because it means full authority, it's a blank check already signed by dad, you fill in the conditions, he's already done his part, he's waiting on you to get into the game, you know the church today has been a spectator church, we watched the platform, we watched what happens up here, we come in some of us want to just sit and be a spectator on armchair quarterback, I don't like him, how was church, oh the platform bit good, day way church in 2002, that will be a spectator church, we're going to be a participator church, you come January 13th I guarantee you on Sunday night and you're going to hear Jack Deere saying you're getting the game, guys equipped you with gifts, he's giving you things to do, get in the game, how do you ever rode the pine in a game, you were the guy that warmed the bench, that's called riding the pine, feel good for you backside, you settle in and it really doesn't matter what's happening because you know you're not going in, folks I play golf, it's a lot more fun to play than watch, getting the game, Jesus is saying to you today, getting the game, now you have to be seasoned right, I need to be mature, what, go back to verse 21, he just said to the father, your lord of heaven and earth, you've hidden these things from the wise and the fruit and revealed them to, wha, wha, wha, babies, you see, you said like this, well the disciples, those twelve, they were seasoned, they were ready, they were mature, the seventy we call them wha, babies, fifteen years ago my wife, we'd been married for four years, I didn't know prior to marrying her, that she had migraine headaches, but as soon as we got married she started manifesting migraine headaches, over and over and over, I'm in the denominational church, the only thing I know is salvation, honey once you get saved again, maybe that'll help, maybe you want baptized right, I don't know, try it again, do something, when she got a migraine headache, she got a migraine head like this, you shut all the blinds, you close every door and you don't make a sound, and she throws up violently, I'm talking full blown ordeal, one day I'm asking God about the byline, we've opened ourselves up to the things of spirits, and man there's gotta be more than this, I mean salvation, it ain't working, I mean that's what I said, you know if it's not working, let's look for something else, I said to the Lord I said, why, why did she have this stuff, I've never been around anybody that's sick, he said, it's spiritual, that's a real one, he said yeah, he said why don't you take care of it, I was like how, did you cast it off, he said really, okay, how do you do that, he said just look at the Bible, he said man, okay, I got it, oh okay, I said, I went into my wife, I said, and she got a mass of migraine head, I said honey, I'm trying to be quiet, the Lord said this is spiritual, he wants me to cast it off, go ahead, in the name of Jesus, you see at that time I thought demons were deaf, I found out later they're not deaf, they hear very well, their ears are perfectly fine, come out, and she's laying on the bed, she sits up, I said what, what did I do, she said it's circling my eye, I said really, come on man, my Jesus, you're out of here, in that second it popped out of her eye and she stood up on the bed with, normal for migraine patients, I said I'm a big demon kicker, any more in the house honey, any more, let me add them, folks, I didn't know doodly squat, I was worse than a 70, I didn't think I was a baby, I might have still been in the womb, so if you're waiting to grow up and mature, get that thought out of your mind, he's called you to the game, get off the, in the game, something going, I like to have in the jersey, I just want it to be on the team, no, no, no, no, play, they hit you out there, it hurts, there ain't no padding on, get in the game, he said to you, look at Mark 16, what did you see this, you got to see this, Mark 16, I'm going to look at verse 17, who did you say this was for, two things you got to recognize, who it comes from, comes from the Father, say anything, look at this, verse 17, these signs will follow those who believe, believers did they say after so many years, don't think so, in my name they will cast out demons, they will speak with their tongues, they will take up servants, they drink anything daily, well by no means hurt them, and they will lay hands on the well and get them sick, now say, lay hands on the sick and they will recover, remember how Jesus did it, he spoke it, who did it, he spoke it, who did it, Father, Father doesn't work, why, this glorifies the Father, the Father is going to be glorified, either through you and in you, or through you and in you, he's going to be glorified, because he's supreme authority over heaven and earth, and he's going to demonstrate his authority in the earth, watch, watch, how do I get it, the third thing, I know where it comes from, the second thing is who's it for, and the third thing is how do I get it, go with me over to Matthew chapter 10, let's go back and look over there for a second, well when I saw this, I did do a jig, I'm sorry, I just, I lost all religion at that spot and I just did a jig right here on this spot, I've never seen revelation like this before, I was like whoa, what, Matthew chapter 10, verse one, no, no, no, verse eight, sorry darling, trick you back there, what's this, how do you get it, verse eight, he said to the disciples after he gave him the power, he said, and I want you to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, everybody say raise the dead, raise the dead, raise the dead, okay I just want to make sure you saw that, cast out demons, freely you what, freely, it's free, did you see that we're freely, I want you to line forward, freely receive, freely give, you bought your bibles, mark those words, freely receive, freely give, Simon and Acts, I'm not going to show you the scripture up there, but Simon and Acts chapter eight, I believe, he's, I put it in your notes, but he went to Peter and saw Peter after he laid hands on him and he transferred the power and he saw that, oh man this is exciting, he said, hey man I'll give you some money for that, give it to me, he said you'll perish with your money, it's free, the authority and power is free, all you have to do is receive it, you know what kind of Christmas time we just have, people walk over and hand you a gift, this is it, is all you're giving me, now it's great, you have to receive it, all you have to do here is receive it, Father I receive your supreme authority, I recognize Jesus did not operate on his own authority, the centurion saw that, he said, whoa you don't come to my house, I'm not worthy that you would step foot in my house, you operate under a supreme authority, just speak the word, you don't even have to be present, oh this could be getting good, I wonder what you're putting up with at your house that you don't have to, oh see there were some things in my house I was putting up with that I didn't have to, now watch, freely you receive, freely give, I want to show you how it operates, Acts chapter three verse six, oh man when I saw this, I tell you I had slept in about two months, I'm not kidding me, I sleep about four hours a night, I mean I wake up and it's just I can't get enough, it's radically changed my entire being the way I'm thinking, the way I'm operating in my house, I'm telling you it's different, I've been in a greater attack in the last two months than I've ever been in my entire life, I'm 40 years old, I know I don't look it but it's okay, Acts, I mean Acts chapter three, what's this, Peter and John going to the temple, it's a story we all know, laying man out there, he's begging for arms because he can't work, he's a man, boy is he, I need you to throw up, I'm not hungry, Christmas time's coming again, I know you, come on drop in the bucket, Peter and John are fixed on, he looks the whole bloody, everybody can give me something, and Peter says to me in verse six, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, which I don't want that word have, what did he have, he had supreme authority given to him by the father, he had already received it, what I do have I freely give, I freely receive it, I freely give it, I freely receive it, I freely give it, all he did was speak, who did the word, the father, and he said in the name of Jesus, rise up and walk, the boy goes hey that's great, no one's ever done that for what, that's really good, thank you, and he walked into the temple, no he didn't, oh no no, I am in it, whatever did you do this, wouldn't you have done that, I didn't see if that was me, I've been doing that, folks, you understand what the power, what power is that your access, we shared this six weeks ago in our life group, I'm telling you, we're the most powerful life group, you can't come because we don't have nothing for you, okay, let me try and come to my life group, now when we will multiply you can come, Mike and Judy Brisky what I liked it, we had the most powerful prayer, maybe we've ever had, I mean I've never been in a prayer meeting like, I mean we had probably 20 adults here, and I mean we, I thought the stars fell, I mean we prayed passion, it was powerful, and afterwards Judy went to my wife and to another lady and said hey I had this thing kind of manifest in my life and I've got a bad report and I want you to pray, I want you to exercise your authority, come on, I'm ready for it, come on, and they prayed over, it's great, the next day Mike calls me, I thought he was going to share something about Judy, I could tell him his voice, he was serious, I said Mike what's going on, he said can you pray like you prayed yesterday, washer, so while I need it, I said well what's going on tell me, he said well Joel my youngest son has been complaining about his knee for several months, long time we thought it was growing pains and he just kept complaining that it hurt, so we decided to take him to the doctor today, and the doctor said whenever you hear a child complaining about the knee it's always the hip most of the time, so he x-rayed the hip and he said you have to report, it's not good, that's really what you say, so he found three spots and he scared the living daylights out of me, and I heard a voice crack on the other end of the phone I said Mike this is on his supreme authority, that's exercise, he said a lot of me from all let's do it, we prayed right there on the cell phone you know kind of like when Jesus called to the centurion saying hey tell the servant to get better, we've prayed right there on the cell phones, Mike in the name of Jesus he's taken care of, got it, boy we got it, two days later I called Mike and I said hey how's my buddy Joel doing, that's when he's going for the MRI, he's probably not going to go for a couple of weeks, but you know he played hard hard hard yesterday, and his knee wouldn't hurt me at all, so hmm what am I like that MRI is going to reveal, Judy goes to the doctor in the meantime, this is an attack, the whole family's under attack, Judy goes to the doctor and the doctor takes some more x-rays and says we did that doctor say that the problem was, right there, I'm going to take another x-ray because I don't see anything but it must be a bad x-ray, so he takes another x-ray, now Judy what did the doctor say the problem was, okay there ain't nothing next, he sure went thank you very much thank you, thank you very much thank you, that's nice thank you, thank you, I know you wouldn't get excited at all either, so they go have MRI for Joel and the doctor comes and says Judy, what did the doctor say the problem was, you been here before it's gone right now where was it, somewhere in there, not there anymore folks, the authority is real, it's real it's real, all you have to do is speak it, who doesn't work, the father, the father, I'm telling you, you get a hold of this, it'll change everything you're doing, everything you're doing, John chapter 14, don't go there, I'm gonna fly through this down and we're gonna wrap up, John chapter 14 says what Jesus said, I spoke at the father did it, Jesus said I'd go to the father and watch, go back and read it later, you can do the works that I did in a great workshop that you did, because I go to the father, I'd like to do some of what he did, he said I can do more than he did, because I had the supreme authority and he's sitting at the father drawn him, the last thing I want to show you is that why does it sometimes not work, quickly go over to March chapter 9, I'm not going to read all of these verses, I've got several verses up here for you, just don't paraphrase some of them, you can bring them down to a couple of things, starts in verse 14, I actually listed the three versions of the New Testament, it's in three of the four gospels, you got to read all three, if you find a story in the Bible and it has another listing of another gospel, Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John, read it there, because you're gonna get greater revelation of both stories, because it's from two men's perspective and the Holy Spirit reminded them each of different things, and I'll pull out a couple of things for you, this is where Jesus came off the mount, where he was transformed before the three disciples, and Moses and I think, who was the other guy that showed up, Elijah, him too, and they were like, they were shaking about it, and they were like, what did we do, you know, they were real confused about man, what did we just see, and they're talking to one another man, was that Moses? I thought he looked a lot older than him, and he was supposed to be younger than that, but you know they're talking to themselves, and Jesus comes down, there's nine disciples in a crowd, and comes down from out, and he says, hey, hey, boys, what's going on? And a man comes out of the crowd, oh Jesus, I'm so glad you're here, it's my son, it's my son, he's got a mute spirit and it's killing him, and I brought him to your disciples and they couldn't cast him out, uh oh, problem, didn't work. Now, I want to ask you a question, if they weren't doing what I'm telling you they were doing, why did the man bring him to the disciples? So they were doing what I'm telling you they're doing, it was normal routine by now, there was nothing out of the ordinary, they were doing it every day, Jesus was doing it, they were doing it, I wonder what the 70 were doing, they're stirring things up to, now why couldn't the disciples cast him out. First off, I want you to understand, he's talking about a mute spirit, Jesus called him a deaf and mute spirit, it was epilepsy, you're looking at the third trend, one of the third trend you tell you is epilepsy, anybody ever seen epilepsy? Scary, first thing that they saw when they saw this man with epilepsy, this boy hit the ground violently started shaking in his entire body, and he's drooling at the mouth, he can't speak and he can't hear it, no matter what you say to him, no matter what it can't speak, they can't tell you what's going on, their body is just violently shaking, had a kid on my basketball team that had this, scared the living daylights out of me the first time I saw it manifest, I didn't know what to do, I'll call his mom and dad, get down there quickly because I don't, out of my league, his body was violently shaking, the first thing that hit those disciples was fear, they had never seen this before, probably. What's the opposite of faith, fear, what always steals faith, fear, because fear attacked them, they allowed it to grip their heart, what did Jesus say? When he said that the disciples couldn't cast him out, what was his first words, first 19, old faithless generation, unbelief, fear always attacks an unbelief, Jesus said, ringing to me, and the father got the boy and brought him over, and immediately said, when the boy saw Jesus, he fell the ground and started the violent shaking, now why don't you see the opposite of fear, Jesus looked over to his dad and said, how long has that been going on? It looked like he's real disturbed, right? How long has that been going on? I didn't say I'll be dog, he's kind of losing anything, but I thought it was in there. How long has that been going on? He's real upset about it. Father says, this person is trying to kill him. I mean, they throw him in the fire, they throw him in the water, they're trying to kill my boy. I command you and watch, go back and read it, I'm over you. I command you to come out and not come back. Here's the power to tell him to come out and not to come back. That's authority. When you say, you're out of here and you're not coming back. Guess what happened, the boy, people around said, oh my gosh, he's dead. Jesus said, killed somebody. That's what they said, you read it? Jesus killed him, I'm going to go tell, I'm telling everybody. Before they could move, Jesus reached down, you look over and look 942 sometimes, and laid his hands on him, and it said he healed the child. Why did the child meet healing? When you have epilepsy, it attacks the mind, there's brain damage every time. That boy from that day forward never once dealt with brain damage ever again. He never once dealt with any part of epilepsy. His heart was perfect, his lungs were perfect, his mind was perfect, he was perfect. So you need the power to cast out, tell him not to come back, and you need the power to heal. You need all three. I don't know about that casting out stuff, but I kind of like that healing stuff. I kind of need some of that. They get all three. I was preparing a sermon. How close is this? I was preparing a sermon. I had some things in my own household. They weren't in order. Meaning, I was preparing this one night about three o'clock in the morning, and I laid my bottle down and said, "Lord, that's all I can take. I've got to get some sleep." I laid it down, and just that second, my son, who's seven years old, sleeps upstairs, woke up with a nightmare. When he wakes up with a nightmare, he always sleep walks. He's been doing this for four years. Oh, man. I don't want Jenny to wake up. Jump up, and I meet him at our door, and I pick him up and said, "Oh, buddy, it's all right. It's okay. It's just a bad dream. It's okay. It's all right." And the Holy Spirit at that time said to me, "How long are you going to put up with this?" I said, "What do you mean?" He said, "What do you think I've been teaching you for the last two months?" "Oh, really? That's good. I like that. I carry him back to his bed, and I lay him down, and I put him in the bed." I said, "You don't have to be present. I'll just talk to you." You sleep. No, nobody. I said, "In the name of Jesus." I learned how to do that. "In the name of Jesus, you've got to go, and you can't come back." And I laid my hands on him. I said, "Holy Spirit asked you to heal anything they tried to steal, kill, and destroy his body." That's three weeks ago. Just how many nightmares you've had in three weeks? No, it's kind of been fun. Until last night. I shared that story last night, and guess what happened at 11 o'clock? My wife and I looked at each other. There's such a bluffer. You want to go? Do you want me to?" She said, "My turn." She shot up the stairs, laid hands on him, said, "Now listen, there's no ground here for you. Get out." The Bible says, "My son shall have sweet sleep, and he does." I wonder what you're putting up in your household that you don't have to. Get in the game. Get off the bench. The coach is calling you forward. He didn't say you had to practice and prepare. He said, "Get in the game. If babies can do it, you can do it."
