Royce Teets Police Interrogation Murdered Fiancé Point-Blank Range with AK-47
Royce Teets Police Interrogation Murdered Fiancé Point-Blank Range with AK-47
Teets was arrested on July 11, 2016 on a premeditated murder charge in the shooting death of his fiancee, Terri Lynn Coolidge.
Teets shot her at point blank range with an AK-47 after the two had an argument about his infidelity.
According to a police report, Teets claimed his fiancée was an alcoholic who had gotten mad at him earlier in the day for texting to and speaking with other women.
Police said Teets left to go drinking with friends and returned home to an irate Coolidge. He claimed that Coolidge broke a mirror in their bedroom and told him, "I'm going to kill you."
"She was extremely drunk," Teets said in the interrogation video.
According to the report, Teets went to the bedroom closet where he keeps two AK-47s and grabbed one of them before Coolidge could take it. Teets said he removed the magazine from the gun and believed that it was empty. He said the argument moved from the bedroom to the living room, where Coolidge was shot.
Police said Teets, who is a convicted felon, gave three different versions of how his fiancée ended up dead.
"Who got the gun out of the closet?" a detective who was questioning Teets asked.
"When she was running to get it, I ran back there and got it first," Teets said.
Teets said the first thing he did after finding the gun was to remove the magazine and throw it on the bed. However, when police found the gun, they found a live round in the chamber.
Teets shows a range of emotion in the video, at one point slamming his hand on the table and at another time getting on his knees to pray.
"Why did you have to die?" Teets said.
Teets eventually confessed to the shooting, admitting that he lied to police.
"How many times have you lied to me today?" the detective asked Teets.
"I was scared," Teets answered.
"How many times have you lied to me today?" the detective said. "Just tell me. 10? 20?"
"A few," Teets said.
Teets is charged with first-degree murder.

Police say the victim was shot and killed by her fiance after an argument. - And friends say that she knew he had a history of violence but claimed that he was a changed man. Now they're in shock, local times Michael Siden has the latest on the investigation. This woman was the mother of two young children. Now fortunately, they were not at home during the time of the shooting. They were staying with their father. But according to this affidavit, which we just got from the plantation police department, this was a domestic dispute that got extremely heated and very violent. - Anybody that shoots a woman does anything to woman to me is a piece of trash anyway. So that's just my opinion. - Did he seem like the type of guy capable of something so heinous? - No, I didn't expect that. - The allegations are horrific. - Sir, you are charged with premeditated murder. - 46-year-old Royce Teats was denied bond Tuesday morning after police say he murdered his fiance, Terry Coolidge, shooting her once in the chest with an AK-47. More so than you think. In a little over two seconds, your car can travel slightly more than 117 feet, which is the same length as 20 bicycles. Anything that distracts you while driving is dangerous. That's why driving while texting can be deadly, too. So heads up, phones down. It's the law, and you can be fined. A message from the Colorado Department of Transportation. She's an extreme, extreme alcoholic. Who are we talking about? Listen, before we do that, how old are you? I'm 40 seconds. OK, I'm going to read you your Miranda warnings. OK, you understand? OK, something that we do there. I'm sorry? Yes. So yes? Yeah. OK. All right, so now we've got that out of the way. I also want you to know that I want to ask if you're here to tell me the truth. All right. If you saw this word, it's going to give you the whole truth, nothing but truth. I hope you got it. Yes, sir. OK. You can go over here. So, your speech seems a little slow to me today. Are you OK? I know you're upset. There's something a little trauma, a little shock. Do you understand, happen to me, what I'm saying? OK. And you're willing to answer questions? OK. What transpired tonight? But let's go back a little bit further if it's OK. Maybe we'll start like this afternoon or early today. Let me start out by asking, how's your relationship? I know she's your fiancé. Everybody's got problems. Right? So how was your relationship going on the last couple of months? Everything was fine, everything was totally odd or so fine, but she just likes to dig through my phone and any woman that I talked to or a girl I talked to, she like just flies off the handle and freaks out and I just, I was like, today was she's screaming, screaming, screaming. And I was like, I gotta, I said, I don't, you know, I'm going to, I'm going to take off for a while. You know, I'll be, I'll be back, I'm going to take off. So, I loved, what time did you leave? You were at the house here, right? I went much tropical. Yes. And you lived there together. Yes. And how long have you lived there? Two years. OK. Where did you live previously? I lived in Kuala Springs. Hi, it's Dave Logan. I've been a patient at Stambrick Dental Group for eight years and have absolutely loved them. It's incredible, general dental and specialty care. And during the time that you've been dating or engaged, you just mentioned a second ago that says, "Tensity, go through your stuff." Yeah. All right. Yeah. And I was like, you know, she's like, you know, "Why do you talk to all these girls?" I said, "I don't understand. I'm not allowed to have a girlfriend." Yeah, every friend. Yeah. I said, "Just girls." I said, "Call me. Call me." I said, "Call me. Call me. Call me." I said, "Why do you talk to all these girls?" I said, "Call me." I said, "Call me." I said, "Call me." I said, "Call me." And I said, "Call me." I said, "Call me." I said, "Call me." I said, "Call me." I said, "Call me." Alright, so there was two phones found in your position. Are they both yours? What kind of phones are they? Blackberry, who's Apple? iPhone? They don't make anything else, right? It's an Apple-scotty iPhone, right? Wow. Doesn't make any other kind of phone. Alright, do you use one for business, one for pleasure, or how does that work? Which one's business? My 7-5-4-2-6. Which one's that? That is Blackberry. I'm sorry, the business is to be here. So, Taylor's kind of jealous of your text and conversations and stuff like that. Yes, family. How often did you guys argue about that stuff? I would say over the last year, maybe about... Well, two years ago, I was in a 14-year marriage. So, we got a divorce. And then Carrie and I, we met. And one day, and we were never apart from each other again. And so, and I was, you know, I kind of was kind of in shock about the whole thing. And I was thinking to myself, you know, I don't have any kids. Because she has two kids. And I was thinking of myself, you know, as I found out. I'm like, I'm not ready for this. And I'm ready to take on the responsibility of kids and being in a family like this. And so, I never did this or had this before. And, you know, scared the shit out of me. Sure. And it was a big commitment, right? Yeah. And some girls from Facebook, you know, some girls from Orlando and from Baton Rouge. They would call me, or they would text me up as Facebook. You know, they would sort of me and say some things. And I said, you know, whatever. I mean, I grew up with these people, you know, I'm 46. I grew up from high school and stuff like that. I think you know there's any big deal. But you know she just was like, "She's gone." How to do with the shiver having a reason not to like you. I knew you said her ex cheated on her in the past about you. You're giving a reason to... The only thing I ever did was talk to him. I was like, "I thought you'd give me a menu and I was supposed to eat on it some times." And then nothing wrong with that piece of coffee. It shouldn't make you get it from you. You know, it got its love. Sure. You know, not perfect. How was it that I would cheated on her before she was fixated about it? And when she would start, she wouldn't stop powers. And then powers. And powers. And powers. And then I ran today to store her into a store. And I came back and she opened it. Hi, it's Dave Logan. I was like, what's wrong? She's going to sign the door. And I was like, what's going on? She goes, "Hey, you're talking to Carlie again." And I said, "Well, I ran into a friend buying bread. He was supposed to call her for us." Who's Carlie? Carlie was a girl that I saw in my wife for a second. Why does she know about her? Why would she confront you today? Why not? Carlie, does she go through your phone at home or something? She says, "Do I Facebook stuff? My messages? How does Doug do that?" Does she have, like, on the computer at the house? Or does she just look on your phone or something? No, she still appears at her phone. She looks at her phone. Everything. Everything. And she just, about Carlie, she just, I mean, she was like, she just started freaking screaming. I'm like, I was like, "Do you have a conversation with the girl?" I said, "I'm not screwing her. We're not together." I said, "I'm with you. I've been with you two years." I said, "I don't even go anywhere." I said, "I don't care until we get the business started. I don't even go anywhere." I'm not glad to cheat on you. Are you taking kids here? I don't have to do that. Sure. And she's just like, "You're a motherfucker." And then you fuck there. You fuck there. This was all tonight. What time was it? When I came home, about 9.9. I believe. That was the night, B.M.? 8.30, or 9. Okay. And she was slamming doors, slamming doors, and freaking throwing stuff at me. And I said, "Listen, if you don't stop." I said, "I'm going to leave." And she goes, she goes, "Oh, you're not leaving." And I said, "Oh, I'm going to leave." And she started throwing stuff and breaking stuff. What was she throwing at breaking? I don't remember. I just was ducking. Where was that at? The front door? In the bedroom. In the living room. In the dining room. They basically were the whole house. Yeah. And I was like, "If you don't stop it, cut it out and knock it off." I said, "I'm going to leave. I'm leaving here. I'm telling you I'm going to leave." And she goes, "You don't have to be in any way. I got your fucking kids and they're not fucking leaving." And as well as cars, yours? Yeah. They attacked last car, so Mercedes is mine. Okay. So the JAG, they're both black cars, right? Yeah, sir. JAG hers, and then it was in Mercedes. Yours is a registered to you, and as a JAG registered to her. Yeah. It's a registered to me. Okay. It's in your name? Yes, sir. I'll show you these yours. JAG war hers. Now you were supposed to drive that, and she drives a JAG? Yeah. Okay. How long have you had that car? Do you lease it, or do you buy it? May? Since May? Did you buy it, lease it rent, or what do you do? Or who do you buy from? Or where? How can I create my shades? What can I create my shade? Is that like, lines, or 440 long, or something? 441. Okay. Hello. How long have you had her JAG? Maybe a year and a half. Okay. All right. So do you get jealous about her and stuff, or she's not doing nothing cheating or it's around. I mean, me honestly, I mean, she... I love her. She just, she loved me more than I love her. Right. But I mean, that's me. I didn't love her. She's just a little more into the relationship than you were. I don't want to get that. And you're in the bench room. Hi, it's Dave Logan. My key is I'm trying to get out of there and see if we can fix up the thing and throws it into the glass. Fix up with it. This is a little automatic thing. With a cushion on it or something? For your foot or something, sit on it. So what should you do with that? She picked it up and turned around and threw it at the mirror. Did the mirror break? This was in where it was just at? In the bedroom. Okay. And at that time, I was like, are you out here fucking mine? Right. And I knew I saw a bottle of wine in the kitchen. She thought you were the mirror. She's going to throw it at me and just turn around and throw it at the mirror. Okay. Which part of these last name? I don't know. It's just going to throw two years ago for one or something. Okay. But you guys talk about Facebook and stuff? No. I see. I don't know. She's just got out of a two-year relationship. Who is it? Carla's brother. And her friend Brad. I ran into him in Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. I'm going to open the window right now. To the bar. Yes. And where's it on Oakland? And Oakland at one. Oakland way out there. So pretty far up there. Maybe Oakland at time now. Okay. That was Carly in your phone. Yeah. What's her? What's the name of Carly? And I just spelled car. Then I see our alibi. Okay. You don't remember our last name? Of course you live. I don't even know. I know where she used to live. She used to live. If you go down to hiatus, go into the bridge. And you know where you get that shopping center. And you can cut through it and cut off. But there's a movie theater back there. No. And she had to go to bedroom apartment. Okay. So where are the things where she'd get upset with you about this? All the girls you talk to? What was it that was in from Chicago? Oh. If I had my case book, I'd do it. What's your name on Facebook? I'm glad. I use Royce Teats. Royce Teats. Okay. There are other official pages. And they're like, "Oh, I'm not too familiar with all of them." Social media stuff. Yeah, I don't know if you use it that much. Okay. So she broke the first stuff any time. Okay. In the past, what else has she done? She is. It's not for everybody now. I mean, she's probably the smartest one I've ever met. So what do you mean, everybody knows what was happening? I don't know if she's made her alcohol. Okay. She drinks. She lives all the time. She's got 120 points. I mean, she is. She is. She's ruthless. Hi, it's Dave Logan. I've been a patient at Stambrick Dental Group for eight years and have absolutely loved them. They offer incredible general dental and specialty care with nine convenient locations across Denver. So would you describe as an alcoholic? Oh yeah, Robert, her ex-husband knows, her kids know, everybody knows it's not. What's her electronic of choice? She thinks that it's only wine and she goes crazy, but it's just, she just, she's, she just can't check it out. Well, she's now scanning to the drop of it. She just, she's just, her IQ drops are 100 points. It's 100 points, she's, she's, she gets crazy. Well, you said her IQ drops. Does she get crazy or does she get stupid? Oh, she gets crazy. That's what to mean by her IQ drops. Yeah, she gets crazy. That was anybody who's seen her act like this? When you got, yeah. So, if there's anybody who's seen her act like this, so you can tell me about it. Uh-huh. A Joey by Tally. Joey? I was so pissed off and I told the guy I was, I fucked you in the asshole. I said, if you get me involved in this whatsoever, I said, I'm going to come over here and kick the living shit out of you. I said, I'm telling you. I said, I don't want to be involved with what the guy said. I don't want to know if you guys did. I don't care what you guys did. I just don't want to be involved. Have the lady die? Is the resort getting shot? No. She just, she got shot in the life. I don't think it was, just, they put everybody in a lineup. They picked out all the people who were her. They're going to pick me out of one, because I wasn't her. Yeah, everybody wasn't there. So, they let it go. But at the same time, that's always on my record. Yeah. It's always on my record. So, you said you got your rights restored. What were you convicted of? When I was younger, I owned part of a nightclub. And they are into that drug ecstasy. And we used to get thousands and thousands of pills and that stuff. Of ecstasy? Yeah. Right? And so, I'm sorry, what was your question before? What did you get your rights restored from? I just, I think my mom did it for me. She wrote in or something. And there was a form that you fell off. Well, how many times have you been arrested for felony? When I was younger, I got caught up with a person called traffic in ecstasy. I didn't have any weapon or anything. It wasn't that fun. When was the last time you were a probation? A few years ago. Why don't you get all? Huh? I don't remember. I just glad I wasn't. You know what we were a probation for? Probably a car. What a car with it, yeah. You know, there's no other than the one that I took from a car dealership. So, you used to go to my work once for a rest of the time. And the weirdest thing is there was DEA guys in there. They put a brick on the thing. And it's a really taped brick. It looked like a kilo or something. I'm not touched about any of those. I'm not asking you to touch your fucking tail on you. You better put that fucking thing right now. I'm going to beat the hell out of your freaking head. I'm like, "Wow, you're supposed to be a cop." It wasn't freaking pretty. So, what do you want to get your prints on there? I just hate telling you to help threaten me. Hi, it's Dave Logan. I've been a patient at Stanbrick Dental Group for eight years and have absolutely loved them. They offer incredible general dental and specialty care. With nine convenient locations across Denver, they really make quality dental care easy to access. What I love most, when I need to see a specialist, I just go to their specialty center. We're all types of specialists are under one roof, one set of forms, one treatment plan, seamless and stress free and saves you a ton of time. Right now, new patients can get a $99 special offer on their first visit. I'm Stanbrick.com today. Pick it up, threaten me. There's two really big monster guys. And, uh, I, uh, I put up all my things like this. And I was like, "Okay, cool." And he was like, "Yeah, sure, I'm real freaking smart ass right now." And I said, "No, I just, I don't want to put my fingers on that. I don't know what that is, but whatever is underneath that tape." I guarantee you, it does not look right. It doesn't look right. So, I didn't know because they were pissed because I took a car from all the dealers. And, uh, he was really good. He was pretty good at D.D.A. and the police department, but they, they really harassed me. Right. All right, so, so let me ask you this, man. Your ex-wife, what's her name? Did you ever tell me? Yeah. What's her name? Jennifer Rans. Huh? Jennifer Rans. I don't know what you ever told me. I never did. Nah, I just forget, remember Jennifer. Yes, sir. What's your last name? Rans. Hey, spell that. R-A-M-S. And where she lived. Of course, Rans. What's your birthday? So, you got to know your ex's birthday. I've been married for about 14 years. I just, yeah, my ex has touched it right now. You guys are never your kids, right? Yes, sir. R-A-M-S? Yes, sir. Where's your work? Uh, she's a school teacher. Where's your teacher? I just didn't try to get out of it and I couldn't see the hole or I couldn't see anything. I pulled up a little bit. I was afraid to, you know, I didn't know where I started with an impression. I was afraid I was going to push her chest and I didn't know if it wasn't her heart. Was a lot of blood coming out? It was if it was, it was porn under her. It was coming out underneath her chest. You didn't see a lot? I didn't see that much. Hold on. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see that much. I didn't see it. There we go. I'm going to show it together. Okay. A year ago? What gun range is you going to? That one on sample of the... I'm sorry, Atlantic. What's it called? I don't know. There's always a bunch of police officers there. Do you have a concealed weapons permit? No, sir. Okay. I never carry any guns. No, not at all. There's just always gun violence. Okay. I never took them out anywhere. There was just there. I don't bother them from a guy. Yeah. Let me just clip a couple of questions real quick so I'm a little confused. Why did you run a bullet to gun first? You said you went and got the gun. You have because she was like, "I'm going to kill you." And I know. I got in front of her. She was walking really fast to the thing. I knew she was going to her closet. I got in front of her. I freaking got her. I could hold it because it was sticking on the barrel. So I just grabbed it by the handle. How much does she weigh? She's so tight. I'm going to show you 150, 100, 125, 120. All right. How come you just like push her out of the way or take the gun and put it in the car or leave with it or... I wasn't going to say because she was swinging at me and she was throwing stuff at me. And I was actually running, you know, when I first got there I was running through the kitchen, through the living room. And she was chasing in here. Why you have the gun? No, no, no. That was before when the start started breaking and she was throwing things at me. I was about when you had the gun. Oh, when I had the gun, you know, at that point I just came out and, you know, we started arguing back and forth. I walked past her. And I was getting the kitchen. And she walked over to the air conditioner. I don't know if she was turning it on or what she was doing. But she came back and I had it, like, down by my side like this. No, because I just didn't want to mess with it and touch it or whatever. And she was like, you know, fuck you, fuck you. I'll kill you in her ass, you know. She goes, you're fucking, you know, you're fucking around, you're fucking around. I'm not with anybody. I'm not. So I'm going to be just going to push her away and you get to go wide. I wanted to talk to her. I just wanted to talk to her again, you know. She couldn't be like, man, hello me. You know, it means you threw shit at me. And then I have to remote stuff like that. It's not too bad to hurt me, but it's just, you know, she tried it. She shot me and faced it a couple of times. But, you know, it's been a tough time. She didn't tell me, she just was throwing stuff at the broken glass. Yeah. And she had me a few times tonight. But, you know, I mean, she's a little girl. She's not gonna get hurt on me. But, you know, I was like, I'm scared from my life that she was going to kill me. You know, it was just a freaking accident. I swear I thought I'd never hurt that. That freaking ring on her fingers for carrots. You know, I'm gonna spend $50,000 on her ring on her finger if I'm gonna kill her. You were completely fine. So, I mean, you said that you were afraid, you weren't afraid of her, or that she was gonna kill you, you know. Well, she just, I didn't know if she's, but this is the thing. She is an extreme alcoholic. And when she drinks, she is a nasty, nasty. So, what do you think her, her high or, you know, blood alcohol content is gonna be today when we drove, you know, blood sample? I don't know. But I know she was, she was drinking. How long does she think she drank today? I don't know. I know she was pissed. And she was unhappy. She was really pissed. And she was drunk. She was just drunk. Because when she drinks, she gets nasty. She is really rude, rude, nasty. And I don't even let her keep, I don't, I don't, you know, if I go out somewhere, I might have a drink here and there. But I never, ever, ever have booze in the house. I never, I don't drink a house. I don't give any of that nothing. And, and, and especially too. She can't, you know. Even Robert told me he goes, you don't understand. She cannot have one sit up and something like that. Did you call anybody after you called 911 or before you called 911? No. I just called you guys and wait. And I was trying to, I was trying to, I was trying to, I was trying to. Now, who put the bottle of wine in the bedroom? Down here. She's carrying around. I thought she was going to try to hit me in the headwood at first. You know. I don't know how many bottles. That's. So she, the bottle of wine, I was in the bedroom. She was carrying it around. I mean, she wasn't carrying around when I first got there. It was, it was in the kitchen. It was in the kitchen. Was it open? There was a corpse, don't let it. She was asking stuff. I'm just kind of, I don't know. I know. I think, I think they're a cork was a, I think they're open. I think they've been up and pretty sure. Because if it wasn't just, it wasn't open, it was about to be. Because she doesn't keep losing the house at all. You know. Because sometimes if you'll come home, you know, we get to bed at six o'clock. And I'm like, I'm like, you've been drinking. I'm just like, no, no, what are you talking about? I'm like, listen. When you don't drink, you don't drink. It's my little sizz drink. You can smell it on that breath. Let me see your hand. So your hand, your knuckles are obviously a little red. You look like some, you have some braisins on there from your skin. You get a red mark here on there. The wrist over there. One of the marks on your knuckles, right? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. If you punch the wall glass, I get it, I understand. You're fighting. I get it. I don't know. Hi, it's Dave Logan. Look, I get that, but I'm just trying to see you explain the swelling, redness, all the enough. I'm not saying you are, but, you know, I might think if somebody's punching whacking them or hitting you. He's a little girl. I get it, but I'm just trying to explain that. Because I don't, you know, somebody might try to paint a picture of you being a aggressor. You punched her a couple of times. Look, if she's drink coming at you or defending yourself, I get it. I will, I'm making a doubt about it. I was defending myself. Okay, that's what I want to see what you got to do as well. She was hitting me in the arm, hitting me in the hands. She's kind of slapping me in her face. If you can punch me in the face. Okay. But, you know, you know, you got a good kid. I never had her. I'm not saying about them. The assassin tonight, oh, she went a little since she went overboard tonight. Whatever, just got mad. You know, whatever. I was trying to give you an opportunity to explain where these marks came from. I don't know because it was things were just breaking and going everywhere. I'm ducking. I just wanted to leave. I just told her I said, please give me my keys. Please give me my keys. Let me leave. Let me leave. She goes, you're not fucking leaving. I said, well, if I'm not leaving, can you please stop yelling at me? Please stop cussing at me. Stop it. Stop. Stop. Stop. You're fucking Carly. I'm so fucking miserable. I'm sad you fucking asshole. I should have never trusted you. I'm like, all I did was talk to her. Gotcha. So I'm actually, so one more time where we've covered already. So what angle when she was popping the AK-47, when she was popping it up, what angle was it when it hit her? So I guess I'm getting that is just to clarify your story is that, I guess it was kind of level. I'm asking you. So you say she's standing up, she's a little bit shorter than me. I don't know. It's just, it was. So put your arm up. So straight up. So that's how you're holding it. She's doing it right. I think I was like this fine, like this crazy cuss. Okay, so put your arm up. So how long is that thing about to put your hand up? It's about two. That's how you're holding it about right there. Keep it there. So it was about this long? Yeah. That's what I'm saying. That would put her about right here. Close. Here we go. Yeah. Okay. And she just kept. So well, at least my point is the trajectory of the bullet would have been straight. It's not going to be going up, you know, and you know, come out of her when her chest would come out of here. It did not. It didn't come out of her head. No. And or it's not coming going to shoot her here and go straight down. Yeah. I'm trying to get your perspective on the trajectory of the bullet and where the rifle was pointed with direction. No. So you tell me what direction it was pointed in. Um, it was, it was probably 20 because I didn't get this. So it does right here. Yeah, we don't touch my G. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. Sorry. Yeah, it was probably like this. So you mean you're, it was down, pointed down where your hand was down. I think it was down. I remember like when she was working on all of these, I was kind of swimming around. And that, that's just going in around this time, right when I did it just, it went on. So you just said you were swimming around. So you were swimming around trying to get her to miss. She was doing this, popping up. You were trying to swing it around to make her miss it. Yeah. Is that what happened? Yeah. All right. So if she's reaching down, popping it up, or trying to grab it to, you said, but she said she popped it like two or three times from underneath of it and it is, so right. It's like playing basketball. It's going to keep it away and swimming around, right? Yeah. Okay. So it was pointed, this direction, this direction, this direction. I think that's pointed a little down. Okay. So that fell like this. Maybe down a little further. So that like this. Yeah. Okay. That's what I'm trying to get at. Okay. I mean, we'll be able to tell what trajectory the bullet was taking. So she was, did she fall down? Was she on her knees? Was she on the ground? She tripped? She slipped? She just crossed. Was she coming at you? No. Was she backing up? Was she moving to the side? You tell me? I'm going to pull right to her, I'm going to pull right to her, she just, she had ground. Okay. So this, I don't want to be misunderstanding or in this communication, you, she was trying to grab it from you? Yes, sir. Yeah. Okay. I was, she trying to grab it from you, you tell me? I don't know. Why didn't Trump people do what they did? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Okay. So she was actually able to hit up a couple of times and then you're sweating around the trailer? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know, I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. I don't know if she knew that I was important to you. Did you say that she had shot herself? I don't remember. I don't remember. She's shot. So you remember saying you were messing around with shotgun? Do you remember you said you were cleaning the rifle? I was accidentally discharged. Maybe. It didn't accidentally discharge. It did accidentally discharge, but I wasn't cleaning it. I was just out of my mind. I was so scared. I was so scared. Now, were you drinking it all earlier tonight? Yes, sir. How much did you drink? Couple drinks. I didn't drink it. Were you drinking? I think the crown in the couple of years. What was this at? Who? Rubas. Rubas? Yeah, I went to meet a friend of mine, I think there. Who did you meet there? Vinnie Caputo. So he was there, I guess, because he had a couple drinks, right? Yes. Okay. Hey, stop Caputo. Caputo. P-A-T-O. Vinnie. Hey, stop Vinnie. Hi, it's Dave Logan. So we talked to him, he'll tell us he had drinks with you with Aruba's diet. What time was that? Seven, three, nine. Okay. Did you go anywhere else tonight and drink? No. So let me ask you, so we have your two phones. So if I take VGPS from those phones to track your movements, where's you going to tell me you went? Tell me. Well, I'm asking you. That's what I'm asking. I just want you to be honest, right? I am. I don't know. So to show you went from your house forage to Aruba's with Vinny and then where'd you go? I went to the red monkey, which is a little red monkey elbow room. Okay. And who are you there with? Vinny? No. Yeah. Red. What was it called? It's called the red monkey, which is the elbow room. What's what they call the elbow room, that red monkey? That's my reaction. So I went to go see my buddy where I ended up, but he wasn't there. So you worked there or something? Yeah. Your buddy? No, he worked to call this man, but they were all going to meet those guys. They're very lucky. Yeah. So I just want to see how they worked. And then I walked in the back, and these guys are supposed to finish coloring. My tattoos messed up. They weren't there either. No, they weren't. The tattoo guys? No. So what Vinny is what you at? Aruba's and elbow room? Yes, sir. Okay. Anywhere else? It's earlier? Yeah. So when I split GPS on your phone, what is it going to show you where you're at? You know, Mercedes Benz has GPS in the car, too. Yeah, that's right. I don't know. You don't know where else you're at? Because now that we have the night before, and we have to excuse me. I don't know. Did you think any other narcotics we set as alcohol tonight? No. The night before. What did you take the night before? Terry and I did a little cocaine, and we trained. But, you know, we were fine. But we were up so late that what happened was, we were, our office was opening at 11. And then we had a train pass. So I was like, you know what? You've got to be played. You've got to go in and do the job. So when in there, I would stay told at four or five, and then I came home. And then... Hello. I came home and then I went out back to sort of something. I came back. She was, that's when she started screaming. Screaming about a crime. Yup, it's tonight. So let me ask you this. What are you going to say if we charge you with killing her? What are you going to say? Killing somebody intentionally and killing somebody by accident is totally two different worlds. Two different worlds. Because so far, some of the things we're saying are what we ended up with. Now let's see this. I did not do an on purpose. I did not know it was a God bullet in the chamber. I did not know it was a man related. And it went off. I had never been too scared about it. I tried every time. Look, if you were cleaning the gun and it goes off, if you were trying to keep the gun away from her, if you were just trying to scare her, that's one thing. That's one thing. Look, the purposefully pointed gun at somebody. This is what I'm saying. And pull the trigger. This is what I'm saying. There's a whole different ball game. Sit down and look at me. So, let's stop beating around the bush a little bit. Just be two guys and just talk about what happened. Like I said, accidental and purposefully. There's two different things. Look, you've been around the block before, man. I ain't got to bullshit you. You've been in the exact situation to do the exact same thing before. Up and longer. But I wasn't there. This is what I'm saying. And I'm not saying you worry. People don't pick you out of a full lot. This means you weren't there. This is what I'm saying. You know this is what I'm saying. Am I right? Does that prove you weren't there? Or this means somebody didn't pick you out of a full lot. Every person that plays. This is what I'm saying. No, I'm not going to wait. This is what I'm saying. The two people don't want to. Listen, because somebody doesn't pick you out of a lineup, doesn't mean you are not there. This means they couldn't pick the person out of a lineup. If you don't have a mask, this is what I'm saying. This is what I'm saying. I don't think they are. Listen to what I'm saying. Okay. You've been through this drill before. No, particularly in that chair. But you've been in that same position that you were in today. Same as along with Florida. All right? They bring you in. They talk to you about the same thing about what happened up there. What's that? The cops in the long one bring you up there and sit you down. Talk to you about what happened. In the home of Asia, somebody got killed. No, they didn't get killed. Yeah, who got shot? I'm some lady. But I don't know what it is. That's what happened. So you tell me what happened here. Listen to what I'm saying. I don't care about that. I'm saying, I want to know what happened here. I'm telling you what happened. Because you've told me a couple of stories. You grab the gun. You pull it. And it's sad. She bumped it off. She slapped it. I don't like that. Listen. I don't like that. I just slept in two days. I'm freaking exhausted. I'm talking to my head when you're talking to me. That's why I'm spacing out and I can't put my thoughts into it. Well, one second, you remember clearly what happened. I can still see it in my eye. Yeah. It's your face. Well, the next second, I don't remember anything because I'm tired. Oh, I'm just saying. You notice how I was talking. I just sort of couldn't put my chicken. My senses together. I'm getting ready to get up and walk out. I'm going to have somebody take pictures of your fingers, your injuries, all that kind of thing. I'm going to take your clothes. And this is the last opportunity you're going to have to talk to me and tell me what happened. I was like, "I told you, it was between doing it intentionally and being a complete accident." It was a complete accident. There were two different things. I was like, "I'm a complete accident." What you're saying right now doesn't make any sense. So you tell me something you're about to get here to believe what happened. Listen, she was trying to – she was throwing shit. She was trying to freaking – I'm sure when you call people and figure out how she was screaming at people and yelling and out of control. I mean, that's what she was doing. She was freaking out, trying to freaking get me. She was freaking cold and crazy. And when she started saying she was going to go for that time, I said, "I'm going to get the damn thing." And I said, "I got it in my hand." And I just have got it in my hand. And I'm just swinging it around. She's messing around trying to get it. And I'm just swinging it around like this. And it popped and it went off in her chest. So why are you swinging it like this just to try to get her a boy grabbing it? I was like, "Oh my God, I mean, I started freaking screaming. I started screaming all I did was we can run back and grab the phone and freaking came back and started trying to get her CPR." And that was it. So now I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. I'm going to get the phone. Remember I talked to you about, would you tell me the truth? I went out to the house. I've been out there for a while. With that being said, a little while ago, I read you your Miranda warnings, if you remember. You agreed and talked to me without an attorney present, but we talked for a little while. Is that correct? Now, I'm asking you the same questions. You still want to talk without an attorney present. I just want to finish up some fine details with you and see what we got. If you want to continue to talk and I'm going to add a couple of questions, we'll do that. Yes, you still want to continue to talk? Do you want me to read your rights again? I will. What do you want me to do? Do you remember, as I said to you, you're willing to answer questions now without an attorney present? I'll get the right to stop answering anytime. You're still willing to talk to me? So, I went to the house, found some things that were a little disturbing to me. And during our mission conversation, these weren't very truthful with me. And I want you to be truthful, man, low off. There's no polite way to say this other than you like to me. There's no other way to put it. And you know as well as I do, you watch TV, you see shows on TV, you watch real life court stuff. I just want you to be honest. And you're in a situation now that you weren't totally truthful with a couple of things. So, I would like to afford you the opportunity to tell me again, I'll take notes. But I want you to tell me what happened last night. No more bullshit. Be honest with me. And I've been nothing but honest with you. And I expect the same in return. Tell me what happened last night, your own words, be honest. It's all about you. I guess it started last night. You know, every, like, I told you, I was a woman and I called him about a job. So, she called him about a job. I started talking to her. And I was like, you know, also, are you going to finish being a psychopath? It's just so bad. And she didn't care to sit on the side. You speak up, man. And I was asking her, you know, she lives in Chicago. I thought she still lived on you. And I was like, oh, I didn't know if you still need a job or work to work. And she said, no, I don't know. But thank you for the opportunity. And thank you for calling me. And I said, do you have any other questions? And she was like, come up the phone, hang up the phone. And I said, do you know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know what I'm talking to her? You know, and I'm like, why are you? Why are you doing that? Why are you doing my Facebook? Why are you doing my phone? I mean, I'm not cheating, you know? And it's always a whole new year. I don't know if you have a... Well, she is screaming and slamming things around. And I'm just like, you know, I lay down. At this house, I come coming into her bed. And then she laughed. And when she laughed, I couldn't sleep when she was a cop. I'm just kidding. So she took off. I didn't know where she went. So it was the night of her shooting? Yeah. So you don't want to stay home? She laughed. Yeah, she laughed first time. And what time was it? It was still daylight outside. And she took off. And, you know, I, you know, I played in bed and I was staring at this, you know, and I was like, you know, I just didn't feel comfortable with her or not there. You know, I just wanted to bear around the next car. I love it. And I went by a couple places. I had the red monkey, which is the elbow room. I went down there. And back to that. I came back to the house. And I opened up and got knocked on the door. And, and looked at the key and she's, you know, I want to make sure she wasn't. And she was just at the top of a long screen. Yeah. What was she wearing? I don't remember. So, oh. Oh. Oh. Yeah, she was, she was screaming at the top of her lungs. And I said, listen, just give me my keys. And I go, I said, I'll get out the door room. I said, I'll be. I said, please, give me my keys. I said, I don't want to fight. I said, I don't want to fight with you. And she said, you know, I can't do this. I can't do this. Leo, I can't do this with another guy. You know, you're achieving on me, too. I was like, I'm not cheating on you. I'm not cheating on you. If I have a relationship or I talk to another woman, I'm talking to her. I'm not having sex with her. I'm not meeting her anywhere. We are just talking. And so, if you have Leo, you have Eric, so, something to remember. He talked to them. Are you having sex with them? No, I'm not. It's a promise. Well, I go into the living room. And I got quite a few numbers on my phone from potential employees that have come in and work. So, I was like, well, I guess in T-screen and yelling. And I would choose in the bedroom. I was like, I guess, I'll call them and say, you know, and find out if they're going to be Monday. You know, we're supposed to do a 10 o'clock day. And then go to the Miami Lakes office and train. Right? So, the house on the phone. And, uh, all of them work good. And she would keep coming into the bedroom. I mean, I know a lot. You know, fuck you, motherfucker. You know, I'm like, I'm gonna tear you. I'm on the phone with some potential. Please, the potential was please stop doing this. Stop doing this. And she goes, you're a motherfucker. She goes, just breathe. Get out of here. And I said, okay, fine. Give me my keys. Give me my keys. And I'll go. Give me my keys. Then, you know, she started drinking. You know, she started drinking. You know, she started drinking. You know, she started drinking. You know, she started drinking. You know, she started drinking. She started drinking. She started drinking. The kitchen all the way around here. And I'm walking pretty fast. I'm just trying to stay out. She's swinging at me. And, uh... What does she wear at this port? I don't know. I don't know. I just remember. I was just trying to get away from her. And I'm trying to stay two steps out of her. And I'm kind of looking back. And I'm trying to run around. Are you afraid she can beat you up? She starts getting by. But you're afraid that she can physically beat you up? Well, I was interested because maybe I just want to be physically beat on. You know, that's what it was. I want to be physically beat on. I want to be hit in the face. I want to be punched in the face. I want to be punched in the face. And I'm like, okay, we can run around. She's sort of throwing things out. She's throwing things out and throwing things out. And I'm like, listen, I've had enough, man. Just please put my heart in the face. I just want to be so pleased. And about that time, she starts grabbing me by face. Slap me in the face, slap me in the face, slap me in the face. I don't remember. I slapped her because I was like, stop. Stop hitting me in the face. Stop hitting me in the face. Stop hitting me in the face. The heart was hit hard. It was hard as she could swim back in the face. She had duffled this thing. And she threw it at the glass and in the mirror. I grabbed that side thing on it. I said, I didn't want to break things. I broke the glass thing beside it, you know. And then they eat, they eat tinny. And so we started circling around the thing again, circling around it, you know. And she was like, go in there, clean it up. You know, fuck her. Go in there, clean it up. And I'll fuck her because you clean up all of this shit. And I'm like, Terry, listen, I don't want to die. I just want to go. I just want to go. Please let me just go. And she goes, you know, I'll fucking kill you. I'll fucking kill you. And I'm like, what do you mean? I fucking kill you. I started thinking, I said, man, I know this fucking gun. And I said, she's going to, you know, I don't know if the, you know, I knew one of the guns was loaded. I knew I didn't know what she was going to grab. And she starts looking behind the curtain. I'm going to pull them behind the curtain. And she starts pulling them behind the curtain. And I restarted and I grabbed it. And we're still screaming each other as you stop doing it. Stop doing it. Stop holding it up on me. I'm going to pull it up on me. And we started arguing that she was knocking it back. Okay. And she went back. Let me stop you right there. So you, you went to the closet and got the gun. I went to the closet. And I was at the house. There was a big black gun full length AK and the short one. So which one did you grab? I grabbed the short one because I knew she was trying to grab that. I thought she was going to grab that because it's short. And every time we've ever messed around, she's like, you know, let me play with the short one. When you say play with a messed around, you mean to go to the rain or something? Yeah. So I was afraid because that one usually loaded. It's like a handheld pistol. I would have a clip in it. But it didn't really have bullets in it. I know you were talking about my stuff a man. Because she goes, you know, the kids are here. She goes to make sure you stick them, you know, somewhere. You know, let's put the bullets back in it. It's all comfortable with the, you know, with the bullets. Okay, so you said earlier that you took the magazine out. And what do you do with the magazine? You've got to drop it on the floor. I dropped it on the bed. Okay. What do you want to get at that point? I had just a pipe. I was sitting there. But this time just had it on my side. On my side. On my side. I'm going to argue, I'm going to argue. Next time, that's a tough one. I'm going to get something out of it again. Oh, she's worried at this point. I'm thinking it was the same thing. I don't remember. It works the same thing. I guess it was a rope. I just remember having some kind of silk thing on it. And I was trying to look. And I couldn't see it. I couldn't see it. Okay. Wow. So when you took the guns, you took the magazine out. Was there any bullets in the magazine? I guess there was. Because obviously, I flipped it in like this. I want to make sure that there was no bullet in there. And obviously, there was still one in there. And when she was from like this, I was from the front desk. And as I did that, it just boom. It went off. And I just the minute it went off. Well, when we were arguing and she started, she turned around the other way. She was swimming at me, swimming at me. And then she went by, like, where the AC was, or to turn AC down. And then she was coming back. They did it again. And then when she started coming back at me, you know, just hung up the gun like this. It just went boom, and it went off. And when it went off, it shot her like right in the chest. I mean, it felt like it was a point. So when she went to turn the air conditioner down, and make a cold area, so where's that? I just don't understand, locate it. It's located in the hallway, like skips. Okay, so if you're involved in the middle of an argument, a fight, why is she going to turn the air condition down? She's drunk. She's been kidding. And once you turn back around, why did you lift the gun up? She was swinging, and I swung the gun up like this, and when I swung it up, it just, it discharged. The gun just discharged. The thing was like a hair trigger. I didn't even remember how it might have been running a trigger. Now, you said earlier that she was standing, kneeling, what was she doing? She was standing. Okay. And she just shot a mess. Oh, my God, baby, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I said, I swear to God. I swear to God, I didn't know. I didn't know. And I was looking for one of the phones. I couldn't find my book. I couldn't find my book. So where was the magazine in the gun? Or did he took out the gun? I saw the gun. And I had a grant. And who was the magazine, man? Where did you when you took it out of the gun? You're in a bedroom. Where did you put it? It was in the bedroom. It was a book. What did it look like? It was clear. It was clear. But the top of it, when it's immunizing, when it's in the gun, you can't see the top two shells. And it just looks like it's in it. You know what I'm saying? Well, God didn't look like it was. So when you shot it, there was no magazine in it. I believe there. I believe there was. I believe there was a magazine in the gun. And I took the magazine out. But I didn't know there was bullets in it. When you pulled the trigger, it was a magazine in. It was a magazine out. The magazine was in it. Well, where were you? You told me. I know. I know. I know. I know. I mean, you were very clear. I know. They're very clear that you took the magazine out. You didn't check your foot around. I wasn't talking. Then you said you took the magazine out. And you racked it. Yeah. And the round came out. Yeah. And I didn't think there was anything else in there. I didn't think there wasn't anything in there. And so that's why. So let me ask you. So now you're telling me there was a magazine in the gun. Yeah. I just... There was a magazine. So earlier you told me there was an accident because he didn't realize it was loaded. Yeah. I didn't realize it was loaded. I just... The magazine was in the gun. I just didn't realize it was loaded. Why don't we just cut all this nonsense out? I wouldn't... Listen to what I'm saying. That forged the opportunity to come up here again. I am. I'm not going to sit here and listen to you or not. It's about... I don't remember. I don't know what I did. And, you know, all this stuff. You know what happened? I know what happened. Who smokes e-cigarettes? E-cigarettes. Yeah. Here you go. Is she smoked? Not at all. So let me ask you. We found her at the house. She has a t-shirt all with no pants. She's usually walking on no pants? Well, I know my hair. It's just us. Okay. Well, she had a robe on or she had a robe on? I thought she had a robe. I could be mistaken. I don't remember. It was just that I just remember. I was looking at her face. At that point, that's how I came out of the house of her face. One would do this, man. You tell me if I'm wrong. All right? You know, you guys are mad at each other. You're mad at her. She's in the back room doing crafts or whatever she's doing. You go grab the gun. You didn't take the magazine out. She walked down over to where she was over at her children's room. You pointed down at her. You pulled the trigger. You shot the chest. 'Cause what you're telling me is you both are standing straight up. You get this bullet hole and the bullet is at the bottom of the wall. You tell me how that happens if you both stand up, both close to the wall. How does that happen? She wasn't crouching down. She was standing completely up. I said, "I certainly don't want to be done." But yes, I don't know if it dissed to our children. But all I know is it just, it just, I didn't even squeeze the trigger. It just went, "BANG!" What if you are... I'm not saying I didn't sure if I shot her. I just didn't, I did not squeeze the trigger. I didn't squeeze her. When I did, it scared the shit out of me so bad. I dropped the fucking gun. I just, I didn't, I didn't think it had a hair in the trigger. Let's do this. You said originally she reached down. Grab the gun. Yeah, she kept... Let's see what I'm saying. Yeah. You said she reached down. We stood up and you showed me. She grabbed the gun. Pulled it towards her chest. And it went off. Is that not what you said? Okay. Let me ask you this. That happened once in the kitchen. No, no. Listen to what I'm saying. And the gun went off. Yeah. Is that true? It was true. Okay, so that's true, right? No. I'm talking. I'm talking. She reached down and pulls the gun up. She pulls it. It goes off. She gets shot in the chest. True? She did that. She pulled through. That's what I'm saying. Is that true or not true? It was true, but that's not exactly how it happened. Okay. So then you tell me... That's the first thing you told me. That's what I'm saying. I'm not finished. I did happen. She just... So then you tell me... We're standing here and you showed me again. Listen, let me talk. You had the gun down here by your side. She was reaching down, tapping the bottom of it. Bouncing the bottom. Is that what you said? And then it bounced up. And then it went off in the shot in the chest. Is that true? Okay. This is what I'm saying. You also told me... You tell me if I'm off. I want you to tell me if I'm off. Okay? You said... You had the gun and you were doing this with it to avoid her grabbing from it. You were pointing it at her chest to the side away from her, at her again. And you pulled the trigger and it went off. It was such a hair trigger. You didn't realize it was a hair trigger and you shot it pointed blank in the chest. Is that true? Simple question. Is that true or is that not true? This is what I'm saying. Look at me. I'm up here. You said and you stood up and you demonstrated, you went like this. And you pulled the trigger because it was a hair trigger and you shot her. You said you were responsible for her death. Am I right? Now is that true or what happened? You're doing this, pointing it at her chest and you pulled the trigger. And the gun goes off. Is that true? That's not true. Hold on, I'm not done yet. Now you also told me a few minutes ago, you're arguing, fighting. She walks in the back room to turn the air conditioner down. She walks back out. You point the gun at her and pull the trigger and then pull it, strikes her in the chest. She goes, "Oh my God, you shot me. Oh my God, you shot me." Is that true? Yeah. Okay, so that's the story. But the story was, this is the story. Well, let me ask you this, do you remember telling me those four different versions? In this room, when you're sitting in that chair, do you remember telling me those four different versions? Yes. Which one of those is true? This is the honest thing, honest thing, honest thing, honest thing. I don't remember. This is what I remember to happen. I remember when we were fighting, you know, and she said something about crap in the gun. I grabbed it instead of her, you know, I grabbed it. And she ran in, she ran in turn on the AC. You're in the middle of a fight. Okay, but this is. No, you listen. You're in the middle of a fight, but she disengaged. Turn the air down, okay, now I'm ready to fight again, because I didn't know she went in there to get more wine or she was drinking. So she went to the back world? She was screaming. Screaming. It's screaming. The other arm, she comes back to me, she comes back to me, she comes back to me, she comes back to me, she just comes back to me. And I remember that after I got the gun and she was trying to mess with me around it, and she went to the other room. So, when I pulled the gun, and started to cause me because there wasn't a bullet in the gun. And so when I came running in the room, I got in my hand. And then about that time, it just discharged. Oh, she built it. She just walked back in the living room. She was just doing this and fucking her asshole, I can't believe you fucking did. She starts running back this way. And I ran in. When you're doing this, she's messing with the thermostat. So she had her back turn to you. Yeah. Yeah. So she turns around and says, "You're an asshole." Yes, she is. She is fuck you, fuck you, fuck you. And when I ran in the room, and that guy was just holding it, I just was holding it. And it discharged. And I was like, "Oh my God." I said, "Oh my God." She shot me and said, "I'm so sorry." So the man says, "What kind of threat were she to you?" When she's messing with the thermostat, she's got no pants on. She's got a T-shirt, no pants. And she turns around and says, "You're an asshole, fuck you." This is the thing. What kind of threat was she posing to your life? She was speaking. What kind of threat was she posing? You said she's 5'7? Yeah. What'd she say she was? Buck 25? Yeah. How tall are you? 6'1", 6'2". What kind of threat was she posing? You have an AK-47 in your hand. What kind of threat was she posing to your life at that time? What is she going to do to you? Well, you're holding an AK-47 in your hand. I just wanted her to stop. Look at me. You mean to tell me you were in any danger you feared for your life? She was throwing shit. No, apparently at that time, she wasn't. Am I right? Yeah, but she sensed her. Let me ask you. At that time, she'd throw anything at you. No. She called you a motherfucker and an asshole. No. She's standing fine. What is she having her hands? I don't know. Okay, what imminent danger was she posed to you at that time? You're holding an AK-47? Nothing. Nothing. This is what happened when I... This is what happened when I... Okay. But I'm thinking when I ran in there, when I ran in with it. Why don't you run in there with it? Because I was like, just fucking stop it. Stop it. You know, I just fucking thought it was... So you ran up to her, put it some stop. Leave the fuck off. I said, yeah. I said, please. I said, and I thought, oh, she'd go lower her hands. She just said, you can't just yell at me. I just got me on. So what did you do? It just picked the firearm discharge. Why are you running towards her? Why are you running after her? I said, just please. Why did you run towards her with a gun in your head? Tell me why. I wanted her to stop breaking shit. I wanted her to stop breaking stuff. At that point, why was she breaking it? She was breaking shit. What did she break at that point? Stand in front of you. She just let them know. What did she have in her hands? Nothing. What could she have done to you? I started grabbing your shit. What could she have done to you at that point when you shot her? What could she have done? What could she have done? What could she have done? I just wanted her to stop. What is she going to kill you with? What did she say? I just wanted her to stop. Why did you charge her? Go after her with a gun, rifle, an AK-47, 762 by 39 round. Why would you charge her? Because you wanted her to stop. Why would you pull a trigger? I did not. Obviously you pulled a trigger. No, no, no. Listen. I just was going to scare her so she would stop. I just wanted to scare her so she would stop doing all the crazy shit. So I don't want to scare her. You charged her right after her. Pulled her hand on her chest and it goes off. Yeah, and I didn't think there was anything in it. I didn't think there was bullets in it. And I just wanted to scare her so she would stop. So what's the truth? Maggies in it? Maggies in it? Not in it. So why did you lie to me earlier? Tell me it was a magazine you took it out. Because I was scared. Let me ask you this. After you shot her. What did you do with the magazine after you shot her? If I was looking at it, I was looking at the magazine. I was like, oh, fuck. There's her fucking bullets in this thing. There's her fucking bullets in this thing. I saved her most of them bullets in bullets. I think it was bullets. So why do you shoot your fiance? You tell me you love. Right? Yeah. Why do you now take the time? Take the magazine out. Inspect it. See if there's any bullets in it or not. Go back to the bedroom. Set it down. Come up with a story. A lie that you took it out originally when you pulled it out of the closet. You took it out. You set it out of the out of me. You wrapped it. Made sure it was empty. Because it surprised me. I never was around. I thought it was empty. I thought I checked the chamber. I thought I checked. Okay. So why was that? Why did you lie to me? Now you're telling me. No, didn't take the magazine out of it. Why did you lie to me? Because I knew how bad it looked. And the thing I was, I just tried to scare her. I didn't think it was. I didn't think it was. And when I ran around the corner. It just let me discharge to my hand. Why were you right after her? Please tell me why you were right after her. Please tell me why you were right after her. Because she wouldn't stop, man. She was throwing shit. And I kept scratching me. I was gonna shut. And I was like, man, maybe if I scare her. And I said, she'll stop. She'll stop doing what she's doing. And I was like, fuck you, stop it, Terry. You fucking stop it. And I ran in there. And it just discharged. You can grab that gun and shoot it. I swear to God, it's got a haircut on it. You told me you never shut that gun before. I did not know. I didn't. That was the first time I ever did. So why otherwise earlier? You tell me. But I tried. The other ones. You tell me why I was lying. I took the magazine out. I checked the chamber. I wrapped it. I was gonna lie. Why would you lie to me? No, no, no. Why would you lie to me? So now, listen, let me go to my next point. Terry's laying there on the floor dying. You check the gun. You take out the magazine. You put the gun down. You go back to the bedroom. You put the magazine down. You inspect it. Am I right? Is that what happened? Yeah. Yes, sir. She discovered shot with an AK-47. I'm looking for the phone. I'm gonna call 911. That's okay. Well, obviously, it wasn't as fast as you could, because you took the magazine out. Listen to what I'm saying. How many times you tell me, Terry, that as soon as you shot her, you dropped the gun. You were so shocked that it went off. How many times you tell me that? I did. How many times you tell me that? I can't go ahead and slap them two days. Why do you lie about that? How many lies have you told me today? How many times have you lied to me today? I was scared. How many times have you lied to me today? I don't know. Just tell me. 10, 20? A few. A few. Why are you lying to me? I was scared. Something so serious. I was scared. I was scared, okay? I was scared. And I knew how bad this thing looked. I knew how bad it looked. And I swear to God, I just tried to scare. I didn't know this fucking firearm was just charged. I did not know. It just discharged my hand. I just wanted her to stop. I wanted her to stop breaking things. And me doing all kinds of crazy shit. I just wanted her to scare her to stop. I wanted to hurry anything up with it. It just just starts in my hand. And when it did, I pretty freaked out. I was like, "Oh my God." I was like, "Oh my God." And I was like, "Oh my God." And I was like, "Oh my God." And I was like, "Oh my God." And I was like, "Oh my God." And I was like, "Oh my God." And I didn't want to beat this dog. I just wanted her to scare her to stop fucking doing all this shit. Please stop. Please stop. I just fucking went in and ran in there and it just discharged. And it just, it went through her so fast. She didn't even move. She just collapsed on the floor. I put the hand down. And I freaked in. I put the gun down. And I put the bread. And I said, "Please, I'm gonna, I'm calling 911." I said, "Please, hang on. Please, baby, please." And I looked at the gun on the floor and I thought, "Oh my God." I said, "This is gonna look so incredibly bad." This is gonna look so incredibly bad. I do not need to freaking take it out. Just rock and shoot her. I just was kind of scared. And it discharged in my hand. I just wanted her to stop. I would never do that for her. I never saw her. Let me get this straight. She's on arm. Is she having anything in her hands? No. She has no pants on. Yeah. She's down the hall. You're on the other side of the living room. I guess you call it. She had just the air. You go running after her. Got the gun in your hand pointing at her. You run after her. You go in your hand pointing at her. You want to scare. And you shot her. And it discharged. Who pulled the trigger? You tell me. Who else was in the room? Who else was in the room? Who we had to go in her hand? Go ahead and shoot themselves? No. It just went on. What danger did she pose to you? At that moment in time, when you ran across that room, pointed an AK-47 at your fiance's chest, and you shot her. At what point were you in fear of your life? When you were running across the room? Could she kill you at that point? What could she have killed you with? You had an AK-47. What did she have? What was in her hands? She had nothing. So are you shot and killed? How old is she? 45-46? You shot and killed a 45-year-old woman with an AK-47, and she was unarmed, had nothing in her hands. What are you doing? I didn't mean to do it. I just wanted to scare. I just wanted to scare the stop. And you ran across the room to do it? I just ran in there. The freakin' gun discharged. I didn't mean to freakin' squeeze a chair. How far away from you when you shot? I don't know. Before it was point blank, you told me. I don't remember. Well, let's try it. It seemed like it was right up on her. All I remember is when it did. I was literally... I literally had her as she was... she was going down. I just... it seemed like it was so point blank range. And I just ran in there. Well, why did you shoot her? Why? It only was like the only reason I swear that I was just trying to scare her. I did not need to freakin' kill her. I did not mean to kill her. I didn't mean to shoot her. I was just trying to scare her so she would stop. They wouldn't stop and stop. But why were you so angry? I was so angry, but she was smashing her. And then as you start, she was slapping me in the face. She was scratching me and she said, "How do you my keys?" She wouldn't let me leave. I wanted to go. I said, "Listen, I can't stand all this craziness. I just want to leave. I just want to leave." And the more she did it, she goes, "You're not leaving. No, we're motherfucker. You're not fucking leaving anywhere. You're not leaving." And I said, "Every fucking stop." I just got so fucking mad. And I said, "I know she's going to start throwing more shit. It's just a matter of what she's going to pick up and start throwing at me." So I was like, "Okay. I had the gun. I ran in there." And I cracked it just to make sure I said, "Okay, pull it from up. Okay. There's no bullets left." So I'm bringing in there and I'm holding my hand. Boom. It just threw that one off. And I looked at it. I was like, "Oh my God. There's another bullet." So let me ask you this. What's in the magazine you got to gun? This is your words. You tell me if I'm putting words in your mouth. You run in the room. You rack it. Bullet flies out. I thought it was a top top. You keep charging her. Boom. You pull the trigger. Yeah. And you shoot her and kill her. Yeah. I didn't think that was a bullet in there. I'm going to scale it. Not now. I'm going to scale it one to ten back then. How angry were you? Yeah, obviously we're pretty damn mad. I was forever. I'm going to scale it one to ten. Ten be no pain risk you could be. I was probably nine or ten. Nine or ten? Yeah. With one. I didn't think that was a bullet in there. I racked it. I didn't think that was a bullet in there. I figured if I just framed it, I'm scared. So you mean to tell me that you have an AK-47 in your closet? Well the magazine inserted in it. Right. Because I kicked the magazine. You racked around. Yeah. Well obviously one's in the chamber. It already flies out. Right. You keep your magazines loaded with one bullet in it. With no bullets in it and a bullet in the chamber. I didn't think there was another bullet in it. You'd keep your magazines empty in your guns with one bullet in the chamber. I thought there was a bullet. Maybe that was it. I just when I racked it, I looked at the magazine because it's foggy. And it looked like it was empty. The magazine looked like it was empty. And I just ran in there. I figured maybe this is just scary. So you pulled the trigger intentionally. Stop all the bullshit. You thought it was empty. You pulled the trigger intentionally. I don't even hear this. That was an accident. Listen to what I'm saying. I don't even hear this nonsense. It was an accident. It went off by itself. I don't know who pulled the trigger. There's a hair trigger. Maybe I didn't. Maybe I didn't. You were pissed off on a scale of one to ten. You were just a nine or ten. You ran after her. You wrapped around. Saw the round fly out of it. You pointed at her. You won a scare. So you clicked it. You pulled the trigger. The scared shit out of her. I didn't know I was going to pull the trigger. I didn't know I was going to pull the trigger. I didn't know I was going to pull the trigger. I didn't know I was going to pull the trigger. I didn't know I was going to pull the trigger. I didn't know I was going to pull the trigger. I didn't know I was going to pull the trigger. I didn't know I was going to pull the trigger. You intentionally pulled the trigger. And it killed her. All because you wanted to scare her. [ Silence ] >> Hi, it's Dave Logan.
