FnT 085: Beating the odds of Muscular Dystrophy with Keisha Greaves
In today’s episode, we talk with Keisha Greaves, an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, author, podcaster, and the Massachusetts State Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy (MD) Association. After being diagnosed with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 24, her life changed, but she didn’t leave this illness to define her. Not only she embraced her illness, she started to celebrate it too. Passionate about fashion, and following her Fashion Design Degree and MBA, she started her own line of t-shirts called Girls Chronically Rock to inspire others with chronic illnesses to have confidence in themselves and not let their disability define who they are. With Keisha, we discuss about living with a condition like MD, but also how to build that unshakeable self-confidence and mindset that drive her.
